I've not able to catch up on a few diaries I try to read lately but these are things that stand out in my memory.

Rookie C-Verse/Fictional

[http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=550236&page=15] by [Willsky]

I have a knack for nominating things that then go on to beat me... but hey this would definitely deserve to! As consistently great as ever.

Showcase

[Graphics] - [When Hell Freezes Over] in [sWF: Supreme Aggression] by [Eisen-Verse] Whilst the actual content of the PPV (and the diary in general) has been as fantastic as you'd expect it was the style of this show that I remember well. I'm working on improving the look of my diary and I'd be lying if I said I haven't used aspects of this for inspiration. I was torn between this category and nominating it for new diary or storyline (Rogue/Valiant) but seems pointless to nominate it for more than one as it would just split the vote between itself I believe.

[Face Worker] - [Poseidon in [Old God's New Tricks] by [Willsky]

It's never easy to make a face who is just simply a likeable guy but he's really grown on me. In a crazy little world that's been created full of scheming he just feels above it. Plus the 'come hell of high water' line in a feud between Poseidon and Hades is just too perfect.

[Angle]- Hardy Compound in [saving The War] by [Togg & The_Lloyd] There were a few different things I was tossing up between for in this diary but it's interesting to see an reimagining of Broken Matt for the Attitude Era.

Match

[Ernest Youngman vs Frankie Perez] in [Prestige Wrestling League] by [Willsky]

There have been plenty of great main events in this diary in March alone but this was the first one that came to mind. Not only was it to decide the tournament winner but it's a big chapter in one of my favourite rivalries on the boards at the moment.

Event

[bound For Glory] in [Paul Heyman's TNA 2020] by [20LEgend]

A huge PPV like 10.10.10 needed a great build and this had it, but then a great build still needs to deliver and this definitely did exactly that.

Whenever I nominate these I always have the thought of how strict to be with the dates so I'm interested to hear other people's position on that. Each month by the time I get around to nominating there's a bunch of stuff that has happened in the prior two weeks or so but I normally try to a) avoid nominating them and remember them for next month instead and b) take into account what was posted in that month. Perhaps that is over thinking it. It makes sense if people consider say the 6 week period from beginning of the month to the time they nominate, but just interested to hear what people tend to do/think?

As a side note to that I wonder what people think about opening nominations for the month earlier (maybe even before the month ends) and closing them sooner? I just think ideally you would have lots of nominations in each category and I think that's more likely if it's open sooner or even throughout the month so you could add something onto it after reading it.

Of course though any thing like that can only work in as far as it suits Togg. I can imagine a lot of work goes into this each month so realistically whatever he finds easiest I'm good with!

I wonder if it would be easier to nominate the middle two weeks of the month, and then have people vote the last week of the month so the winner is determined at the start of the month after.

I'll call this is 2 parts :D

Part A): I like to keep things strict to the months they were in, not a day earlier or later. Have some slipped though over the years? Im sure. But i try to run it as tight as i can.

Part B): I have been thinking about moving nominations to start and end in the month they are in. It is something i have debated over and i am willing to move too. You would need an overlap of a few days at the end of the month to allow those "Events or Matches" that come in the last day of the month. However its possible to do and something i would be open to. It would take a few months to bring into place... having to shorter nominations and bring them forward slowly so theres not a huge change.

If this is an idea people like and want... Let me know and im happy to put it into place :D
