Nasty G's bio says "300lbs love machine" but he's listed as a Light Heavyweight. Should he be a Heavyweight or a Big Heavyweight, I'm unsure of what weight cut-offs y'all used.

 

Or maybe this is part of his gimmick?

I think this goes off of what was, at one point, TEW's "official" guidelines for the weights but I'll need to double check that when I next have some free time.

First time checking out the Thunderverse, loving what I'm seeing! The characters are all so interesting, and the descriptions of everything makes it very accessible. I feel like you get a good idea of each character, company, school, etc. just from reading through it.

Definitely should know French, I'll add it to the fix list.

 

Just as a small update, the next patch/update will be coming soon. Can't really give a date as it depends on availability for both jhd and I as to when we get some stuff done but we've not forgotten about the mod or some of the future plans we had.

• The company base of Broadcaster KanaalPLUS is set as Western Europe, but they cover Central Europe. The company base should be set as Central Europe.
   
  
• All of PEWA's events are set to 62% importance, seems like an oversight.
   
  
• I think Death Cop & Death Nurse should have a tag team with experience.

I use the games between updates to explore the data, fart with different products, sift through all the characters to find gems I've overlooked. When the data takes its final form I'm going to be prepared for one hell of a long term sim.

Fixed the first two. For Death Emergency Services, they've never really canonically been a team. The way I've seen it is that they're linked but rarely tag since they're on the indies and that's why they've not progressed much in their career. Also they're pretty bad.

The newest download doesnt come with the Intros and SaveGames folders it looks like, so you may have to download the Intros file from post #2 of this thread and then create a SaveGames folder.

Thanks for the reply. I have actually downloaded the Intros and created a SaveGames folder and still nothing.

Create the database folder, then insert the database, overwriting what is there. Don't worry about the save game folders. The game should handle that.

 

The introduction screens you can add afterwards.

I hear some people have done that. I haven't and probably never will. Thunderverse and Cornellverse together might work but adding real world mod which is way more unbalanced would kill the game for me. Also the verses itself wouldn't have links with each other which would make me just want to play just Thunderverse itself.

Howdy friends of the Thunderverse!

 

After a little longer of a break from working on this than we'd like, we've now got patch 1.4 uploaded which can be downloaded here and from the second post of the thread. This upload marries up the data and the intros folder once again after their trial separation in 1.3. The picture folder hasn't changed so you will only need to download that folder if this is your first time downloading the Thunderverse.

 

As per the usual formatting, the patch notes are in the whiteboard but I'd like to explain exactly what has changed with NCW given that their note is a little brief. They now use the Classic Wild West product which keeps true to the spirit of the company whilst meaning players no longer find themselves punished for not booking lengthy matches. Additionally in an attempt to begin to smooth out their finances, some of the top names in the promotion find themselves on fixed wage/length deals - James Gilmour for example goes from the game filling in the blank at 53k a month to being on 27.5k a month but with additional contract perks to "make up" (for lack of a better phrase) for the the loss in wage. If you prefer NCW as it was previously, you'll need to do some or all of the following reverts;

 

- Product from Classic Wild West to Modern Throwback

- Remove wage and set length in contract to random for James Gilmour, Chaperone, Johnny Hollywood, Theo Barkley & Megan Farrell

 

As always, thank you for checking out this mod or sharing how your saves are going. It's always rewarding to see things like that and heading into 2022 and beyond, we'll definitely be releasing things that will hopefully help amplify your current save or make you check out somewhere else in the Thunderverse.

What an amazing mod! My first time jumping in and made me own company in England ready to use all this amazing talent. I have noticed Brooke & Naomi Nicholson don't really match? One is a comedy match worker and one isn't, can someone let me know if this is intentional or what changes I need to make as I have already started my save, thank you.

By design I think. Consider it as if one is full IIconics when they were together and the other is Peyton post split where she were all serious for a cup of coffee before being struck down by the budget cutter.

That is absolutely fine, I understand that. My thinking comes more from them being sisters but one is White English and the other is Black English. I just assumed if it was by design their bio's wouldn't be IDENTICAL. But, I may just be overthinking it.
