Network To Revive Controversial Promotion The CLUB JANUARY 2021 DETROIT, MI The Club was one of those wrestling stories you couldn't make up. Originally developed by The DANGER! Network and producer Cesar Kaslow, The Club produced some of the most talked about televisual content seen within the wrestling industry in recent years, with violence, mayhem and even death liberally dished out. Whilst Kaslow certainly delivered controversial content, as with much of his work, the initial boom of success proved unsustainable and in 2015, after three seasons, the promotion was closed down. Now six years removed from it's last broadcast, The DANGER! Network has announce that The CLUB will be making it's return to network television albeit with a different look so to speak. Not much is known about the re-branding other than the noticeable absence of former producer Cesar Kaslow as earlier today it was announced that manning the helm of the revitalized endeavour would be Hollywood star Tadarius Norton. Tadarius Norton, born December 1972, is an American film star and retired professional wrestler who is best known by his stage name Buff Norton. Debuting in 1991, Buff rose up the ranks of WWW thanks to his undeniable charisma and sheer manhandling of the wrestling legend Guy Lothario (In reality, Guy was the man who introduced Buff to the sport and had a hand in training him). Leaving professional wrestling after WWW's closure in 2002, Buff would translate his successes in wrestling to the silver screen. Becoming a mega star in Hollywood, he returned to his first love in 2013 after roles had dried up a little. Signing with the Awesome Wrestling Federation, he lasted three years before walking away again after a career revival in Hollywood. Buff is once again returning to the wrestling spotlight, only this time in a non-wrestling role as Executive Producer for the newly revived project. In terms of talent being signed to The CLUB this time around, you'll see some returning favourites as well as a number of new faces according to Norton who has promised a completely different vibe to The CLUB in this iteration. Travis Stine III (born April 1989) is an American professional wrestler and internet personality better known as Travis Stine inside of the ring. One of the most controversial names in wrestling ever since his debut in 2011, Travis is more known for his blatant steroid abuse, unsafe wrestling, rambling nonsensical promos that border on any sense of decency and his tendency to get into fights with almost any other living being. Originally found by Chaperone as a regular user of one of his gyms in New York, Travis was brought into AWF with very little formal wrestling training. Flaming out of the promotion as quickly as he joined, Travis soon found fame in the notorious "reality" wrestling program The CLUB where he was poised as the main star until its cancellation in 2015. With the announcement of The CLUB being brought back to network television, it only made sense that it's last serving CLUB Champion would be the first one signed on to the project. Jeremy Robins (born June 1980) is an American professional wrestler who performs under the ring names Klaxon and Avalanche. A huge brawler who spent his early career working the East Coast independents, it was his signing to the opening roster of Pro Wrestling SUX that brought Klaxon's first real break as a tag team with Arson. Initially a firm favourite to crack the glass ceiling and make the big time, Klaxon never truly got a big break despite reports that Silva Dolla pushed AWF management to hire Klaxon for a feud in 2012. It wouldn't be until late 2013 that Klaxon would make it in the AWF, as part of the PWSUX Invasion. While perhaps not making the impact he could've made, Klaxon would hold TV and tag gold alongside KISS. However, as the AWF's turmoil continued Klaxon was seen less and less frequently on AWF television and he quit the company in 2018 to return "home" to PWSUX. Since then he has gone on to cement his place as the company's top star. Albert Bishop (born April 1974), better known as Bishop, is an American professional wrestler. Debuting in 1997, Bishop spent the first two years of his career working as "Mountain Albert", a mountain man gimmick complete with furs and traps. Few watching the youngster expcted the clumsy, lumbering sasquatch to become anything more than a career jobber. However, rebranding as the no-nonsense Bishop and heading to Japan, Albert's monstrous character took off quickly. As his in-ring skills went from strength to strength, the big man shocked even his most loyal friends to become a two-time UPJ Tag Team champion. Having proven himself in Japan, Bishop headed back to the US with the AWF. Determined to erase the memory of his last run in the States, Bishop demolished Timothy Hawk on his debut. After solid six year run with the promotion that saw him hold virtually every title available, Bishop was let go during the period of financial turmoil suffered by the company. Given Bishops no-nonsense smash mouth style, it only made sense that he be offered a spot in The CLUB. I've gone for Klaxon on the back of his AWF run, really, but Rhyno is one mean so-and-so.
