Al Coleman vs Raphael [1 Pts]

I think Al Coleman has more upside

EBK vs The Canadian Blondes vs The Heartbreak Express vs The Oklahomans in a Tag Team Turmoil match [1 Pts]

If this is not a title shot match I'm going to guess it will lead to a new feud between The Canadian Blondes and one of the babyface tag teams.

Ernest Youngman vs Rob Reynolds [1 Pts]

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford [1 Pts]

It's Bradford turn

The Most Wanted (Blaze, Winchester, Revell, Martin) vs Joffy Laine, ???, ???, ??? [1 Pts]

Who will Joffy Laine pick as his partners? [1 Pts for every correct answer]

Probably there's zero chance looking at the other matches, but I'll stick to my initial thought and say that his partners will be the trio of babyfaces that won at Spurs and Stripes: Al Coleman, Big Hustle and Rob Reynolds. That would be a really strong team that could pin Chip Martin 😄

To set up a rubber match

EBK vs The Canadian Blondes vs The Heartbreak Express vs The Oklahomans in a Tag Team Turmoil match [1 Pts]
I see them as next in line for a title shot

Ernest Youngman vs Rob Reynolds [1 Pts]
Tough one, but Ernest is just so good...

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford [1 Pts]
Another tough one, but I think Bradford wins to set up a rubber match

The Most Wanted (Blaze, Winchester, Revell, Martin) vs Joffy Laine, ???, ???, ??? [1 Pts]
Martin to eat the pin

Who will Joffy Laine pick as his partners? [1 Pts for every correct answer]

LSW Hell Froze Over 2020
Saturday, Week 2, December 2020
Held in Fort Worth (Mid South) in front of 384 people
17,630 viewers on WrestleWorld

As announced, the show opens with The Most Wanted faction taking over the ring, being followed closely by the arrival of Ricky Dale Johnson for a business meeting to clear the air face-to-face. RDJ says he is fed up with Blaze and his brigade's tricks, which are increasingly becoming a risk to his business, even threatening to strip The Most Wanted of both Texas Heavyweight and Tag Team titles. Renegade Bradley Blaze tries to find a more diplomatic way, keeping his arrogant ways, trying to convince the boss that they can all row in the same direction after all. Now that the Texas Heavyweight championship is back in his hands, well, these suckers in the stands will pay top dollar to see someone try to take the title strap away from him, obviously unsuccessfully. Ricky Dale Johnson seems almost convinced by his champion's words, and in fact proves him right! Many people will pay handsomely to see Renegade Bradley Blaze have to defend his championship again in a Rematch against Joffy Laine at LSW Texan Rumble next month! And this match is official! Meanwhile, RDJ is confident that the four versus four match scheduled in tonight's main event will also satisfy the crowd in attendance. RDJ exits the ring and leaves The Most Wanted foaming with rage in the ring, knowing they still have their bosses against them. [41]

EBK vs The Canadian Blondes vs The Heartbreak Express vs The Oklahomans in a Tag Team Turmoil match
EBK and The Oklahomans were selected to start this Tag Team Turmoil bout, giving each other a battle in a match that has a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling. After seven minutes though, EBK scores the win as Waylon Walls pins Jason Patterson after a Sidewinder. [32] The next duo to join the Every Body Killaz are The Heartbreak Express, accompanied by their valet Sweet Tabitha. In a decent match, Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta eliminate EBK as they hit The Score on Bullseye before pinning him in six minutes,[36] this leaves us with only two tag teams vying for the final victory, as The Canadian Blondes reach the squared circle. In a decent bout, Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein seem to get the better of The Heartbreak Express, taking advantage of the fact that they had just not fought another match, but with a surprise cradle pinfall Ralph Liotta manages to pin Flash Savage: 1 ... 2 .. 3! The Heartbreak Express wins the Tag Team Turmoil match. [39]

"The Preacher" Travis Century makes his entrance to the booing of the audience, accompanied by his adepts. Taking control of the ring, he begins to preach about how great his "holy warriors" have been at LSW Spurs and Stripes, trampling over The American Cobras and showcasing the "strong hand" of the Lord. The Anno Domini 2020 is almost over, but there is little to celebrate, for there are still many evils that plague this place. A "brigade of renegades" are running Lone Star Wrestling, an undeserving king has a crown on his head, a flock of black sheeps will attempt to take part in the upcoming Texan Rumble and triumph to boost their egos, their bank accounts, their bulletin boards. The Strong Hand, crusade after crusade, will correct all the evil that haunts this promotion like a cancer, starting with the Texan Rumble in which both Texas Hangman and Cobra will participate! [28]

Joined backstage by Ricky Dale Johnson, we find a fired-up Joffy Laine for tonight's main event, seeming to have put the shock of losing his championship behind him and regained some fighting spirit. RDJ confirms to "The Jackhammer" that he will be able to take advantage of his championship rematch at LSW Texan Rumble next month, then assuring that he has just talked to his partners whom he has personally chosen for tonight and that they are all very pumped up for the main event. Joffy Laine says he can't wait to be able to get his hands around the necks of Renegade Bradley Blaze, that brat Maverick Chip Martin, and those ugly mugs from The Big Guns. "The Jackhammer" would be willing to go one-on-four so strong is his desire for revenge, but he says he is confident that his partners will surely be able to help him. [73]

From the announcing table, Alfonso Garcia and Fabulous Frank alert us that "Mr. Submission" Al Coleman apparently took a beating earlier on upon his arrival at the venue, and suffered an ankle injury that is forcing him into a local emergency room at this time. After a few moments, Raphael made his entrance into the ring and began taunting Al Coleman, against whom he was to fight in a one versus one match. Although there is no evidence that it was "The Masterpiece" who did the beating, we have more than a few doubts. Raphael even claims that the beating could all be a feint orchestrated by Al Coleman because he was too scared by the idea of clashing with "The Masterpiece." Thank goodness, Tavon Blake Jr walks out and stops Raphael, informing him that Ricky Dale Johnson has chosen him as Al Coleman's replacement in this singles bout. [36]

Raphael vs Tavon Blake Jr
The referee quickly reaches the ring and kicks off a match that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd. "The Masterpiece" Raphael comes out very well, defeating "The Grappler" for the second time after a good performance managing to lock the opponent in an Ankle Brace, the finisher of "Mr. Submission" Al Coleman. Tavon Blake Jr tries to break out of the hold but to no avail, and after eight minutes from the bell he taps out. [47] Despite the bell ring, Raphael keeps applying pressure on his opponent, refusing to stop the Ankle Brace for several more seconds, possibly causing an injury to "The Grappler." [18]

Ernest Youngman vs Rob Reynolds
And we move immediately to another singles match, as Ernest Youngman goes one-on-one against Rob Reynolds in a bout that has great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd. "The Assassin" goes toe-to-toe with "The Real Deal" right away by overpowering him in height and puffing up his chest, but well-placed hard kicks from Rob Reynolds soon make Ernest Youngman realize how there's no messing around with the Asian American competitor from Detroit. Very physical match, as is often the case in LSW there is not much room for high-flying maneuvers and brawling is the main focus. "The Assassin" takes good advantage of a distraction by Venus Angeletti who as always is a guarantee as his valet, breaking the momentum of "The Real Deal." After eleven minutes, Ernest Youngman is able to connect The Hit to defeat Rob Reynolds by pinfall, ending the year on a high note. [56]

In a taped video, The Architect cuts a promo talking about what a great shot he made by bringing The Dreadnought here to Lone Star Wrestling. The behemoth stands tall behind the scheming heel, who praises the overwhelming power of his new ally and the way he destroyed Remmy Honeyman and Quentin Queen in their recent match. But a true strategist always plans his moves in advance, and The Architect is already thinking about the future and how he will triumph in the Texan Rumble coming next January. [30]

We find Ricky Dale Johnson backstage, busy as ever running the show, with the boss crossing paths with Prime Time Jack Pryde. The young rookie throws a dig at his boss, saying he never imagined he would see Chip Martin in the main event. Jack Pryde then lets slip a few too many words, saying that maybe he should rub the boss the wrong way too in order to get a few more opportunities. In saying these words, "Prime Time" realizes he has gone too far, but by now the damage is done. Ricky Dale Johnson smiles annoyedly at his worker, saying that maybe he is right; Jack Pryde deserves to be in the main event and will be in the next event, in the Texan Rumble! And to make sure he can spend as much time there as possible, RDJ promises the cocky rookie that he will enter the match as #1 Entrant. [59]

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford
In an exceptional match, Big Hustle and Left Shot Bradford square up in a rematch of the Final of the King Of The Rodeo. The bout is very physical and the two competitors always stay inside the ring, never taking breaks outside of the ring, with Left Shot only using the rope break a couple of times to get Big Hustle off his back in awkward situations. After ten minutes, Left Shot Bradford ends up in his rival's claw and can't manage to get away, as Big Hustle is setting his Hustler's Headbutt to end the match. Left Shot manages to grab the referee with his right hand pushing him off his collar abruptly and knocking him off his feet, "The Hustler" stops his headbutt and looks confused at the referee for a moment, with Left Shot Bradford being very quick to act by hitting a kick to the groin on his rival! The referee immediately gets back up, having only lost his balance for a couple of seconds, going toe-to-toe with Left Shot Bradford and demanding an explanation, but not going to disqualify him. The vicious heel doesn't even dignify him with a response, waiting for Big Hustle to get back to his feet with an effort, still holding his hands on his groin after the low blow he suffered: DREAM LEFT HOOK! Left Shot knockout blow goes smoothly and Big Hustle crumbles on the mat: 1 ... 2 .. 3!! Left Shot Bradford wins the match by pinfall, playing on the edge of the DQ to take home the victory. [60]

Cali Slick enters the ring, accompanied by his slimy agent Vinny Cruz, reminding the crowd in attendance how he defeated Rayne Man at LSW Spurs and Stripes last month, proving he has that ruthless attitude needed to triumph at a high level. Vinny Cruz echoes "The Draw," praising his recent victory against the babyface veteran whom Vinny cruz initially tried to bring in among his clients. Cali Slick then talks about his next goal, which is to triumph in the Texan Rumble, when Rayne Man finally walks out and goes face-to-face with Cali Slick, recalling how things really went down in their recent match, which is that "The Draw" was only able to triumph thanks to a distraction by Vinny Cruz that allowed him to hit Rayne Man with his golden chain. Both Cali Slick and Rayne Man work the crowd well, using the freedom to improvise to their advantage, and after some back-and-forth Cali Slick assaults Rayne Man who, however, guards very well, fending off the attack. "The Draw" is forced to beat a retreat, joining a startled Vinny Cruz who is already on the ramp. It would seem that the rivalry between the two competitors is far from over. [47]

After taking control of the ring, ready for the main event, The Most Wanted are joined on stage by Joffy Laine, who keeps his distance to avoid an immediate four-on-one beatdown. "The Jackhammer" admits that he underestimated the slyness of Renegade Bradley Blaze, but that will not happen again. Joffy Laine from now on promises to always be one step ahead of "The Renegade," starting tonight where he has assembled a team that knows how to hurt The Most Wanted. Two of his three partners, in fact, are the only ones who have managed to defeat not once, but twice, Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell: THE AMERICAN COBRAS! Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane are greeted with great joy by the audience, while The Big Guns seem rather unnerved by this choice, being calmed down by their leader. Joffy Laine then unveils the fourth and final member of the team, a competitor with a lion's heart and and a never-say-die attitude who knows how to hurt Renegade Bradley Blaze, in fact it was he who ousted "The Renegade" when he was THE MAN back in the Mid Atlantic region. A skeleton in the closet for Bradley Blaze and one of the wrestlers who knows him best, still eager to kick the brawler from Dallas: "THE FIGHTING UNDERDOG" MILLER FFORDE! [30]

The Most Wanted (Blaze, Winchester, Revell, Martin) vs Joffy Laine, Miller Fforde, The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane)
Maverick Chip Martin makes the big noise and demands to start the match against Joffy Laine, but after a huge slap by "The Jackhammer" the weasel rookie tags him out. The middle portion sees the two factions intent on imposing themselves on each other, never really being able to dominate a long stretch of the bout, with a nice exchange between Renegade Bradley Blaze and Miller Fforde, who looks very good to the LSW audience. Maverick Chip Martin has been the weak link of the match, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. In a bout that has good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Renegade Bradley Blaze tags in Maverick Chip Martin who attempts a Superkick on Joffy Laine to no avail, getting knocked out by a huge lariat by "The Jackhammer." The Big Guns attempt interference, but The American Cobras manage to get ahead of them and slide him to bordoring, setting off a wild brawl. Renegade Bradley Blaze helps Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell, getting knocked out, however, by Miller Fforde who immolates himself over the third rope finishing on his long-time rival. Maverick Chip Martin rises from the mat still dazed, finding himself confronted by a hungry Joffy Laine who blocks him: DEATH SPIRAL! After twenty one minutes, the babyface team scores the W over The Most Wanted. [49]

OVERALL RATING: 46
A little step back in ratings, as the fans were slightly annoyed at the amount of non-wrestling segments that they had to sit through.

Total Wrestling News: Update On Al Coleman LSW Situation

"Mr. Submission" Al Coleman was booked for a match against Raphael at LSW Hell Froze Over, but the bout has been canceled and kayfabe-wise it was reported that Al Coleman's absence from the show was due to a backstage assault earlier on. Actually, Al Coleman wrestled for New York Championship Wrestling this Saturday at NYCW Buffalo Bash where he succesfully defended his COTT World Heavyweight title against Hawkeye Calhoun. Al Coleman's agreement to partecipate in NYCW event was made just the day before within the Confederation Of The Territories alliance, and "Mr. Submission" advised Ricky Dale Johnson that he would rather attend at NYCW event to defend his prestigious belt rather than having a midcard match in LCW just hours before the show. It would appear that Ricky Dale Johnson did not take the decision very well, considering it unprofessional, and at the moment relations between the owner of LSW and Al Coleman are rather cool, if not frozen.

Preview for LSW Texan Rumble 2021

The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) in a No. One Contenders match
After triumphing in the Tag Team Turmoil match, The Heartbreak Express dreamed of getting another title shot at the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles. Instead, Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta will have to take one more step to challenge the champs, as Ricky Dale Johnson officiated a No. One Contenders match against The American Cobras. Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane recently triumphed over The Most Wanted alongside Joffy Laine and Miller Fforde, once again proving their strength and being a thorn in the side for the champs Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell. Who will be the next contenders at the tag belts?

Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title

Renegade Bradley Blaze and Joffy Laine have been fighting for the Texas Heavyweight title for months. "The Jackhammer" had managed to win the championship from his rival, but thanks to Maverick Chip Martin "The Renegade" had regained the strap surprising everyone and triumphing in his championship rematch. Now it is the turn of Joffy Laine who will have to be ready for whatever Bradley Blaze comes up with to take advantage of his own championship rematch and take home the LSW Texas Heavyweight title.

20-Man Texan Rumble
And obviously the main event will be a 20-Man Texan Rumble, with the winner of the match being able to choose to challenge anyone he wants here in Lone Star Wrestling, including champions for their title belts. Last year's Texan Rumble crowned the inaugural Texas Heavyweight champion, as Renegade Bradley Blaze won the match by eliminating runner-up Rayne Man. This year, maybe a new championship challenger could emerge from this lottery over-the-top-rope battle royal. With several names still unknown, we already know some Rumble participants including Cali Slick, Rayne Man, The Architect, Texas Hangman and Cobra, Left Shot Bradford, Raphael, Maverick Chip Martin, Prime Time Jack Pryde and Big Hustle! Who will win the rumble?

I don't think there's another shock title change happening just yet.

LSW Texan Rumble 2021
Sunday, Week 3, January 2021
Held in Houston (Mid South) in front of 458 people
18,798 viewers on WrestleWorld

The show opens with a backstage segment, more specifically in Ricky Dale Johnson's office where we find the owner of LSW, his brand-new assistant Mya Catalan, Cali Slick and his agent Vinny Cruz. "The Draw" has just draw - no pun intended - his entry number for the Texan Rumble, looking rather pleased and getting a peek at Vinny Cruz. But as Cali Slick and his agent are about to take their leave, here comes Rayne Man and the two rivals start having a staredown that is quelled by RDJ. The boss invites Cali Slick and Vinny Cruz to leave the office, while Mya Catalan assists Rayne Man in drawing his number ahead of the main event. [45]

The American Cobras (Malloy, Spillane) vs The Heartbreak Express (Needham, Liotta) in a No. One Contenders match
Perhaps the two most beloved tag teams here in Lone Star Wrestling are set to fight to become the No. One Contenders at the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles held by The Big Guns. In a decent match, Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta show that they can hold their own against a more experienced and rated duo such as Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane, but they are ultimately forced to defeat when Storm Spillane locks Ralph Liotta in a Kneeling Boston Crab after twelve minutes, leaving him no other option but to tap out. The announcing quality lifts the match, and Sweet Tabitha does some good work at ringside too. The American Cobras return to have a title shot at the tag team championships they contended with The Big Guns themselves almost a year ago, eager to finally snatch the title belts from them. [45]

We return backstage, where Renegade Bradley Blaze is joined in his own locker room by the other members of The Most Wanted, who have just been to Ricky Dale Johnson and received their entry numbers for the Texan Rumble, further advising the leader that The American Cobras are the next contenders at Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell. "The Renegade" takes note, but his focus is totally on his title match that's up next. Renegade Bradley Blaze seems increasingly obsessed with his Texas Heavyweight championship and having to defend it, calling out his underlings to follow his moves out there so they can maintain dominance over LSW. Leaving the locker room, Bradley Blaze asks how the draw went, as if he had forgotten about it so far, and Maverick Chip Martin flashes a toothy grin as he unequivocally shows his number that reads #20! Will Chip Martin be the last to enter the Texan Rumble? How lucky! [41]

Hl1JXzc.png
Renegade Bradley Blaze (c) vs Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title

For the third time Renegade Bradley Blaze and Joffy Laine go one-on-one for the primary title strap in Lone Star Wrestling, showing great chemistry like previous times. In a bout that has superb wrestling and great heat, Bradley Blaze manages to assert himself in the first part of the match, with his partners in The Most Wanted being very helpful in breaking up any comebacks by Joffy Laine. "The Jackhammer" manages to build some momentum, however, trying his Death Spiral, but once again The Big Guns and Maverick Chip Martin play devil's advocate, drawing the attention of the babyface and referee. Fortunately, here comes the cavalry as The American Cobras and Miller Fforde, who defeated The Most Wanted alongside Joffy Laine last month, walk out and start a brawl outside of the ring with The Most Wanted, forcing the referee to banish everyone from ringside! Just like the last time he lost the belt, Renegade Bradley Blaze is alone. After around nineteen minutes, however, Renegade Bradley Blaze manages to connect his Dallas Drop and goes for the pinfall: 1 ... 2 .. 2.99!!! LAINE KICKS OUT! A completely unexpected kick out that drives "The Renegade" crazy, now convinced that he has defended his beloved championship. Renegade Bradley Blaze then tries a Figure-Four Leglock, but Joffy Laine grabs him and takes him to the floor for a cradle pinfall that nearly delivers the victory, and as both competitors get back to their feet it is Joffy Laine who strikes first: DEATH SPIRAL! 1 .. 2 .. 3!! “The Jackhammer” Joffy Laine defeats Renegade Bradley Blaze by pinfall and regains the LSW Texas Heavyweight title. [55] After the match, the audience is in raptures, screaming Joffy Laine's name loudly as he excitedly admires the championship finally back in his hands, while Renegade Bradley Blaze rolls outside of the squared circle, desperate after the loss. [59]

We approach the main event, but first still space for a backstage segment where The Heartbreak Express, defeated earlier on in a No. One Contenders match, cross paths with The Canadian Blondes who start mocking them for their loss. Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein cross the line and get shoved by Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, but before a brawl can ensue Sweet Tabitha gets in the way. The valet of The Heartbreak Express issues a challenge to The Canadian Blondes for a third match between the two duos who are now tied 1-1 in tag team action, before walking away along with Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta. [35]

We are back on the squared circle when Ricky Dale Johnson and his new assistant Mya Catalan explain the rules of the Texan Rumble, a classic over-the-top-rope battle royal match in which twenty wrestlers aim at eliminating their competitors by tossing them over the top rope, with both feet touching the floor, with the winner of the match being able to choose to challenge anyone he wants here in Lone Star Wrestling, including champions for their title belts, in any match. [55]

20-Man Texan Rumble
As a "nice" reward for not knowing when to shut up, Prime Time Jack Pryde earned the #1 Entry spot, while the unlucky #2 is "Mr. Submission" Al Coleman, who's still selling the ankle injury caused by recent backstage assault. After an initial exchange of blows it's already time for #3 Entry as "The Masterpiece" Raphael enters the ring and assaults rival Al Coleman, focusing on his injured ankle vehemently, being helped later by Jack Pryde who joins the beatdown. Rob Reynolds, Cowboy Buck Winchester and The Architect join the Rumble, with the latter showing up accompanied by The Dreadnought, with the behemoth stopping at ringside. Remmy Honeyman is #7 Entry and, after a staredown with The Dreadnought, he enters the squared circle and immediately targets The Architect who is holed up in the corner. Still no eliminations as a debutant in LSW walks out as #8 Entry: "The American Eagle" Kip Keenan! The announcing introduces us to the talent from Las Vegas, that jumps right into the action, managing to eliminate Prime Time Jack Pryde. The Architect's chances are reduced even more when Quentin Queen, the other half of The Hive, is announced as #9 Entry, going to help his partner Remmy Honeyman, meanwhile Al Coleman manages to surprise Raphael despite his injury, lowering him over the third rope and sending him out. Texas Hangman walks out accompanied by Travis Century as #10 Entry, and immediately makes an impact, eliminating Rob Reynolds and Al Coleman in his first minute. The Architect is one step away from elimination, saving himself, however, by clinging with all his might to the ropes. Remmy Honeyman and Quentin Queen fail to complete the elimination by being caught by "The Hangman" who with a Double Lariat on the ropes throws both out of the ring. Big Hustle enters as #11 and immediately collides with Texas Hangman in an exchange of blows joined by another tough guy like Cowboy Buck Winchester, in what becomes a three-way fistfight, while The Architect and Kip Keenan wrestle at the corner.

It's time for #12 Entry as Ernest Youngman makes his way to the ring, bringing Big Hustle to his knees with a blow to the lower limbs. The rumble continues as Miller Fforde enters as lucky #13, while "The Draw" Cali Slick is #14, and now even the ringside is populated with different managers, agents, valets. There is great tussle in the ring and the loser is Kip Keenan, who despite a good debut is eliminated by Ernest Youngman who throws him over the third rope, while Big Hustle manages to eliminate The Architect, desperate at ringside at the feet of The Dreadnought. Left Shot Bradford enters as #15 and is approached on the ramp by Kip Keenan, who was his tag partner back in their Puerto Rico days. Left Shot snubs Kip Keenan's good luck, however, by reaching the ring and targeting his rival Big Hustle. Outlaw Wes Revell enters as #16 and helps Cowboy Buck Winchester in the elimination of Miller Fforde, then The Big Guns take on Texas Hangman in a two-on-one that is soon equalized by the arrival of Cobra as #17 Entry, going to help Texas Hangman in this big clash. The tag champs seem to get the better of it, pushing Cobra over the third rope, but this allows Texas Hangman to get the run-up and strike; "The Hangman" in fact lifts the legs of Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell, eliminating both The Big Guns! And it's now time for Rayne Man, as the veteran enters the Rumble as #18 Entry with a very good chance to triumph. Unfortunately for him, his Rumble adventure ends after a couple of minutes unlike last year's great performance, due to a distraction by Vinny Cruz at ringside that prevents him form eliminating Cali Slick, before getting thrown out by Ernest Youngman. A frustrated Rayne Man grabs Vinny Cruz around the neck, holding by the tie, but before hitting him he notices Cali Slick yelling something at him from above the ring. "The Draw" gets distracted to "save" his Agent, getting pushed out of the ring by Big Hustle before getting beatdown by Rayne Man, who lets go of Vinny Cruz to focus on "The Draw."

Time for the penultimate wrestler, the #19 Entry ... DR. LOVE! DANNY FONZARELLI IS IN THE RUMBLE! A well known star who used to fight here in Texas for the major company TCW, Dr. Love joins the ring in his LSW debut. Meanwhile, Left Shot and Big Hustle are both on the apron, one misstep away from elimination, giving each other blow-after-blow battles. Very similar situation to what happened in the King Of The Rodeo final, as Big Hustle hits his Hustler's Headbutt on Left Shot Bradford who an instant later connects his Dream Left Hook! Both wrestlers crumbles, but Big Hustle luckily manages to anchor himself to the apron, clinging to the first rope, while Left Shot loses his footing and is eliminated! It's time for last Entry with #20 and we already now it's Maverick Chip Martin who is greeted by boos from the fans in attendance, but as "The Maverick" is on the ramp, here comes his leader Bradley Blaze! "The Renegade" is visibly exhausted after his previous bout where he lost the Texas Heavyweight title, but he is determined to enter the Rumble himself! Bradley Blaze stops Chip Martin on the ramp, who looks up at his leader, disappointed that he can't take advantage of this chance, but understanding the situation ... Legitimately or otherwise, Renegade Bradley Blaze takes Maverick Chip Martin's place in the Texan Rumble, likely to triumph and win a new title shot at the Texas Heavyweight championship he just lost and seems obsessed with. Meanwhile, Ernest Youngman seems to have Dr. Love in his grasp, but the famous veteran surprises "The Assassin," anticipating his run to eliminate him and immolating him over the third rope with a Back Body Drop!

Ernest Youngman is out and we're down to four participants: #10 Texas Hangman, #11 Big Hustle, #19 "Dr. Love" Danny Fonzarelli and #20 Renegade Bradley Blaze. The veteran Dr. Love squares up against Texas Hangman in a heavyweight class, managing to effectively counter Travis Century's executioner, but with a hard elbow by “The Hangman” Dr. Love is now stunned to the ropes and Renegade Bradley Blaze manages to eliminate him! Big Hustle knocks an exhausted Bradley Blaze to the floor, before colliding with "The Hangman" attempting to eliminate him, but suddenly with a great show of resilience "The Renegade" comes back to strike nimbly and cunningly, raising Big Hustle's leg and causing him to lose his balance until he goes over the third rope, Big Hustle is out! The clock marks almost forty-eight minutes of the match, when we are left just with #10 Texas Hangman and #20 Renegade Bradley Blaze, who wasn't even supposed to be in this bout. "The Renegade" does everything he can to counter the opponent, but he really is out of breath and the beating he took in his previous match is still being felt, allowing Texas Hangman to ramp it up by taking the competitor by the neck and hitting the Choke Slam! Texas Hangman then lifts Renegade Bradley Blaze back up and throws him effortlessly over the third rope, winning the 2nd Texan Rumble! He also manages to record both the most eliminations (7) and the longest survival time. [56]

After the match Travis Century and Cobra come to the ring to rejoin the winner, with "The Preacher" passing around a microphone starting to rail against the fans, the other competitors, and everyone else in the world for being a sinner, but now that The Strong Hand has won the Texan Rumble, Travis Century wants to pick the best match to impose "The Strong Hand of the Lo..."; Travis Century is interrupted by Texas Hangman who puts his big hand on the microphone, leaving everyone stunned including "The Preacher." Texas Hangman asks for and gets the microphone, saying perhaps his first words after a year in Lone Star Wrestling. "The Hangman" decides to call his own match, overriding Travis Century's will, challenging Joffy Laine for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title at the next event! Travis Century tries to take control of the situation, but it would appear that Texas Hangman has begun to decide for himself, quite a headache for "The Preacher" who nonetheless tries to bribe his executioner. After a few seconds, the Texas Heavyweight champ Joffy Laine walks out and stops on the ramp, initiating a long-distance staredown with Texas Hangman as "The Jackhammer" raises his title belt to the sky. Probably the best event so far. It was a surprise after another, brilliant. Although I predicted Joffy's win I ended up with just 1 point 😅

The American Cobras' victory was a good decision, it took me by surprise but I think they needed this win or they could lose their status too quick. They are still valuable and now I won't be surprised if they become tag team champions.

Joffy's win was great. I praise your booking regarding last LSW Heavyweight title matches. You elevated the title with this feud because anything could happen in each of the title matches and there was always good reasoning behind.

The Texan Rumble was a masterpiece from start to finish. When I saw that segment where The Most Wanted were talking about their numbers in the Rumble (which was great) I realized that Bradley Blaze was going to enter the Rumble one way or another and when it happened I thought he was winning. It was great that Texas Hangman ruined Bradley Blaze's hopes and won the Rumble. The Rumble also had a star signing debuting in Danny Fonzarelli and Kip Keenan in a lower profile, alliances, good performances by your top stars like Big Hustle or Ernest Youngman...  I'm going to nominate the Texas Rumble for best match in January's DOTM.

@newbiezness thx for the kind words and your DOTM vote! I'm pretty happy about the event tbh, especially when it comes to the Texan Rumble match who turns out to be pretty funny! I always try to keep a always concise writing style, but I think and hope that was pretty explanatory as a recap. And how fun has been booking this Blaze vs Laine storyline so far!

I'm glad to see how in recent events the predictions have become harder lol, creating some uncertainty in my diary. And I love how nobody bet on Texas Hangman for the win (props for the ones who picked him as most eliminations tho), personally I already wanted to push him big in the Rumble, but then I realized he was already perceived as a star and decided to pull the trigger, making him the winner.

LSW Official Statement

In a recorded video, the owner of Lone Star Wrestling Ricky Dale Johnson talked about the amazing 2021 that awaits the promotion, which started out great with an LSW Texan Rumble that was a huge success. And now that Lone Star Wrestling roster has grown, Ricky Dale Johnson thought it was an opportune time to introduce a second singles championship. Keeping true to the brawling attitude of Texas wrestling heritage, RDJ has introduced the LSW Texas Brass Knuckles Heavyweight title belt, which will be defended only in No Disqualification matches. There will be four one-on-one matches in the upcoming LSW show, and all four will be part of a Beat The Clock challenge that will see the two quickest winners snatch a ticket to the bout that will crown the inaugural Brass Knuckles champ at LSW No Place For Old Men in March 2021. We just have to wait for the official card to find out the match-ups!

Preview for LSW Dust Bowl 2021

The Canadian Blondes (Flash Savage, Ozzie Goldstein) vs The Heartbreak Express (Johnny Needham, Ralph Liotta)
Pretty faces are set to square up once again, as The Canadian Blondes will go two versus two against "the American blondes" Johnny Needham and Ralph Liotta, accompanied by valet Sweet Tabitha. Since their arrivals, Flash Savage and Ozzie Goldstein have acted as true pricks, mocking various LSW tag teams but focusing especially on The Heartbreak Express. Tied 1-1 in their recent bouts, this third match-up might decide which pair of blondes is the best in the ring.

Prime Time Jack Pryde vs Rob Reynolds in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match
Recently introducing the LSW Brass Knuckles Heavyweight title, which will be defended only in No Disqualification matches, Ricky Dale Johnson have made official four one-on-one matches as part of a Beat-the-Clock challenge that will see the two quickest winners snatch a ticket to the bout that will crown the inaugural Brass Knuckles champ at LSW No Place For Old Men in March 2021. The first singles bout is between Rob “The Real Deal” Reynolds and Prime Time Jack Pryde, and what a big opportunity for both this match could be. A decisive, quick victory could guarantee a title shot, a nice way to lit up the new year and his own momentum.

Al Coleman vs Raphael in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match
Part of the Beat-the-Clock challenge, finally Al Coleman will be able to clash with Raphael one-on-one, after their previous match-up was cancelled due to a backstage assault on "Mr. Submission" - rumored to be by Raphael himself but there was no confirmation - who came out injured. After a collision even inside the Texas Rumble, it is finally time for singles action between these two competitors. Who will prevail?

The Most Wanted (Winchester, Revell, Martin) vs Miller Fforde, The American Cobras
Marvel Malloy and Storm Spillane have won their No. One Contenders match and they are set to face Cowboy Buck Winchester and Outlaw Wes Revell for the LSW Tag Team Heavyweight titles soon, but at LSW Dust Bowl The American Cobras will team up once again with “The Fighting Underdog” Miller Fforde in a three-on-three against The Big Guns and Maverick Chip Martin, as the heel trio will represent The Most Wanted faction. The three babyfaces were personally picked by Joffy Laine as his partners couple of months ago in a gigantic four versus four match against The Most Wanted and walked out with the W, definitely adding some extra motivation for The Big Guns and Maverick Chip Martin who will also want to avenge that defeat and score a good victory for their leader Renegade Bradley Blaze.

Also, we will hear it from “The Assassin” Ernest Youngman

Cali Slick vs Rayne Man in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match
The rivalry between Rayne Man, brought to trust and then betrayed by turncoat Vinny Cruz, and the client of the weasel agent Cali Slick continue here at the Dust Bowl, with a rematch set between the two competitors after the first bout was won by "The Draw" thanks to a distraction by Vinny Cruz, which allowed Cali Slick to knockout Rayne Man with his golden chain and pin him. Vinny Cruz did his job once again, making sure the match was part of the Beat-the-Clock challenge, opening up another opportunity for his client. Rayne Man's focus in recent months has only been on the rivalry with Cali Slick and Vinny Cruz, which also compromised his performance in the Texan Rumble, and a win in this one-on-one would mean the world to the babyface veteran at this point in his career.

Big Hustle vs Left Shot Bradford in a Beat-the-Clock challenge match
The fourth and last match part of the Beat-the-Clock challenge is a one versus one between Left Shot Bradford and "King of the Rodeo" Big Hustle, with the latter getting the better of his rival one more time during the Texan Rumble match, again with that extra bit of luck that seems to drive Left Shot crazy. It is really hard to predict who will be the winner of this singles match, as both competitors have skills and momentum. It could be a matter of details, maybe luck, or maybe it takes thinking out-of-the-box to bring home a solid win. And it will be even better if this victory will be fast to gain a title shot at the brand-new LSW Brass Knuckles Heavyweight title.

Joffy Laine (c) vs Texas Hangman for the LSW Texas Heavyweight title
And the main event of the night, the Texas Heavyweight championship match between champ Joffy Laine, who has just regained the title belt from Bradley Blaze, and challenger Texas Hangman, who requested this title shot as a reward for winning the Texan Rumble match that saw him dominate. "The Hangman" surprised everyone when he took control of the situation, not leaving the choice in the hands of "The Preacher" Travis Century but directly challenging Joffy Laine for the main championship in Lone Star Wrestling. The challenger is really tough, but "The Jackhammer" is forced to triumph in his first title defense this time , after his first reign lasted only a little month having dropped the title back to Bradley Blaze. Must-win situation for Joffy Laine to cement his own figure as main star of the promotion, but it turns out to be really hard to imagine Texas Hangman coming out defeated.
