Lots of strong characters already. Cactus Jack's antics are always entertaining. Haley Buck has a distinctive personality rather than just being a passive part of interviews. And you've managed to spin lots of stories out of the Gold Rush as expected. The way the tag titles are being introduced is also fun with the unbeaten heels demanding them. It feels like either outcome could be satisfying in that story.

Opening the show, Southern Heavyweight champ Luke Steele and what it should be his first challenger, Big Hustle, cut some good promos on each others. “The Hustler” gets the sympathy from the crowd by getting on the champ’s nerves, saying that despite acting tough on words last week, Luke Steele did seemed scared when he bailed out the main event and left his partner Sandman Winks alone, as “The Unbreakable” looked worried about taking a beating from Big Hustle himself and Texas Hangman. Luke Steele comes back with a good unscripted promo, basically saying that there was nothing to gain from that tag team match and he didn’t care about his partner for the night. Governor Ricky Johnson then joins the party, coming out to do his job as Commissioner and do what all the fans were waiting for. “The Governor” announces that, next Wednesday, “Unbreakable” Luke Steele will defend his OCW Southern Heavyweight championship against the challenger Big Hustle! Both competitors seem prepared and happy with the announcement, both acting tough and having a stone-face staredown inside the squared circle. [44]

The War Thunders vs The Montana Lumberjacks

The Native-Americans babyface are pretty hot in the tag team division, and tonight they have fresh new opponents as a couple of brothers from Montana make their debut tonight. Presented as The Montana Lumberjacks, Kalder Tagg and Wolfie Tagg are hard-hitting loggers who’ve traded chopping wood for chopping down opponents, with a reputation for being as tough as the trees they once felled. The Lumberjacks take some heat by acting as classic heel bruisers, punishing Eagle Two Tomahawk who’s particularly good as the underdog in the bout, milking the hot tag for his more muscular partner. After ten minutes, Wild Red Stallion finally tags in to a nice pop from the crowd in The Outpost, and after a minute or so he finds himself hitting the Lakota Cutter on Kalde Tagg for the 1-2-3. [34]

We’re back inside the ring, but this time it ain’t for a match. Archie Aldred III, dressed in his usual expensive suit, begins ranting about how last week’s match versus The Lone Star Cowboy was a fluke. He blames the referee for being biased, accuses the fans of distracting him, and insists that Cowboy couldn’t have beaten him without those “unfair advantages.” Archie downplays his deliberate eye poke, calling it a "technical adjustment" rather than a cheap shot, and declares that Cowboy doesn’t belong in the same ring as someone of his stature. As “The Oil Prince” goes on, the megatron suddenly switches to the parking lot, where The Lone Star Cowboy seems to have convinced the crew to put him on Air. Buck Winchesters stands there in a good mood, right next to AAIII’s expensive sports car, an over-the-top symbol of Archie’s wealth. Cowboy tips his hat to the camera, gives a nod, and then begins methodically wrecking the car. He smashes the windshield with a steel pipe, slams the side doors, and finishes by saying “NOW THAT’S A OLD WRECK!”. Back in the ring, Archie Aldred III watches in disbelief, his bravado crumbling as he realizes he’s helpless to stop the destruction. The segment ends with Archie livid in the ring, as he’s left staring at the ruins of his pride and joy. [35]

Cactus Jack vs Gunner Jackson

Accompanied by her stunning and treacherous girlfriend, Lola Starr, Cactus Jack takes on Gunner Jackson, the swagger Texan babyface who walks down the ramp making the sign of unholstering two revolvers, virtually shooting against the camera with some swag. Lola Starr does some good works at ringside, distracting “The Gunner” and helping his boyfriend. At some point, down the ramp here they come Pepper J and Dynamite Martin, and Cobra also! All three heels having expressed their dissent in recent weeks after Jack Pryde interfered in their bouts, are they out here to do the same? Apparently not, as all three return backstage without explaining why they walked out here; maybe a rib? maybe a threat? Who knows! However, the match goes on for a little more, and after twelve minutes of action Gunner Jackson hits the Quick Shot on Cactus Jack! Spinning Spinebuster to seal the deal: 1 .. 2 .. 3!! [24]

image.png

Interviewed by Mya Catalan, Valentine Rayne is here to talk about his upcoming bout against “Mr. Submission” Al Coleman. With the other half of The Heart Breakers right next to him, Valentine Rayne confirms that last week his partner Rocco Renoir sustained a broken jaw thanks to Al Coleman and Warren Technique’s ruthless aggression. And you know that’s fine, pro wrestling ain’t ballet, but what’s not fine is knowing that The Mat Masters and their sport agent Herb Stately mocked Rocco Renoir backstage last week, when he was in the doctor’s room, calling him a pretty-face weakling. Valentine Rayne will then seek vengeance for his young partner tonight, so get ready for some good ol’ tussle! [29]

Following the interview, Cactus Jack storms in the area and takes control of Mya Catalan’s microphone, shouting at the camera to send a message to Pepper J, Dynamite Martin, and Cobra. Jack Pryde clearly enjoys having the freedome to go off-script and performs well, saying that he doesn’t have any problem with any of them! He doesn’t understand why they’re so skeptics about him, and he just want to clear the air, and maybe have a mutual beneficial relationship. That being said, Cactus Jack announces that he’ll go the Bucks Saloon right now, and he’ll wait for Cobra, Dynamite Martin and Pepper J to join him there and crack a cold one together as a sign of peace. Will they show up? [26]

image.png

image.png   image.png

Al Coleman vs Valentine Rayne

With Warren Technique and agent Herb Stately on his corner, Al Coleman goes one-on-one against babyface Valentine Rayne, cheered at ringside by his partner Rocco Renoir who solds his real jaw injury from time to time. With a successful creative finisher, the bout ends up being pretty good, with both competitors having good performances and with the crowd being very hot at the end. In almost fifteen minutes of action, Valentine Rayne fails his Rayne Drop, being then put onto the mat and trapped in Al Coleman’s Ankle Brace, having no other choice but to tap. [47]

After the match, Governor Ricky Johnson walks down to the ring to confront The Mat Masters and their sport agent Herb Stately , after they asked for the promised title shot to the yet-not-revealed OCW Southern Tag Team titles. The Commissioner keeps its promises, congratulating Al Coleman and Warren Technique for their outstanding and dominating first performances in the ring. They deserve a title shot, and in a couple of weeks they’ll have it! The Mat Masters would have the chance to become the inaugural Tag Team champs, IF they would be able to defeat another tag team who’s still undefeated in Outlaw Championship Wrestling: Eagle Two Tomahawk and Wild Red Stallion! The War Thunders! The Native-American babyfaces comes out on the ramp, taking applauses and sympathy from the crowd, engaging a staredown with The Mat Masters, acting like cold-hearted heels. [34]

image.png

The crew takes us inside the Bucks Saloon, where Cactus Jack is sipping an analcoholic beer, waiting for Cobra, Pepper J and Dynamite Martin to show up there where he invited to. Saloon owner Haley Buck pricks Cactus Jack by sowing doubts in him, will they really show up? Jack Pryde’s girlfriend, Lola Starr, seems already annoyed by waiting, also looking at Haley Buck with a glance of pure female competition. Cactus Jack seems to start having some thought about it, but then shake it away. Nah, they’ll come soon! And they will clear the air. [32]

image.pngimage.png   image.pngimage.png

Los Spurs vs The Dusty Outlaws

Next on the card, a tag team wild brawls sees heels outlaws, Cockroach Carter and Mercy Michaels, against Mexican babyfaces, “El Vaquero” Manny Alvarez and Gringo Loco. After ten minutes of actions, Manny Alvarez doesn’t see the tag made by Mercy Michaels who become the legal man and blindsides Manny Alvarez few seconds laters. The Dusty Outlaws then combine their attack, hitting The Dust Devil Drop to win the match. Gringo Loco has been the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else’s performance. [29]

After the match, Mercy Michaels keeps stomping Manny Alvarez down on the mat, and Cockroach Carter anticipates Gringo Loco who tries to make a safe, punishing the masked luchador with a shoulder tackle. The Dusty Outlaws start beating down Los Spurs, but luckily here come Jason Patterson and Stanley Axis! The Steam Express run through the ring full speed, cooperate to throw Cockroach Carter out of the squared circle with a double Lariat, before taking down Mercy Michaels. The Dusty Outlaws beat a retreat, The Steam Express complete the safe and gets cheered by the fans, while Los Spurs thank them for coming out as the cavalry. It seems like the bad blood between The Dusty Outlaws and The Steam Express keep getting thicker in this midcard tag team rivalry. [22]

image.png

In a taped video, the vignette opens with a shot of The Outpost, completely empty. The masked luchador we saw last weeks is there, in his mariachi suit, stands alone on the center of the ring, his guitarra resting against his chest. He begins to play a haunting, melancholy melody that fills the silent space, each note echoing through the emptiness of the venue. As the music reaches a poignant crescendo, he suddenly stops, looking directly at the camera with a piercing gaze. The screen fades to black, and the words “EL MARIACHI” appear in bold, dramatic letters. [31]

image.png

image.png   image.png

Conner Threepwood vs Harvey Robbinfield

Cheered by the crowd, “Mustang” Harvey Robbinfield showcases his athleticism in a one-on-one bout against Conner Threepwood, acting like a classic old-school heel. Seven minutes match, in and out, for a pleasant bout. Harvey Robbinfield comes out on top after hitting his Stampede Driver - a Fireman's Carry Bodyslam Driver - and going for the pinfall. Solid midcard match. [45]

image.png

The crew takes us backstage where the announcers trying to explain us what is going on back there. It looks like “Unbreakable” Luke Steele and Big Hustle crossed path and start trash-talk each other, adding fuel to the fire ahead of their title match next week. Luckily, Ricky Johnson is right there to calm down the situation alongside few security members, and both wrestlers walk away in different directions. Remember everybody, next week, OCW Southern Heavyweight title on the line: LUKE STEELE VS BIG HUSTLE! On The Bandit Network! [49]

image.png

We’re back inside the Bucks Saloon, when twenty minutes or more passed and - surprise, surprise - neither Cobra, nor Pepper J and Dynamite Martin showed up to confront Cactus Jack as he requested. Lola Starr seems super annoyed, while Saloon owner Haley Buck looks entertained by the whole situation. Cactus Jack bangs his fist on the table, tired of waiting! They didn’t show up, they didn’t want to clear the air and have a peaceful talk. Whatever, they’re just a bunch of misfits. Cactus Jack leaves the Saloon pretty angry about it, followed by his gf Lola Starr. [22]

image.png   image.png

Jerry Lee Tennessee vs Texas Hangman

After claiming he fears no “Hangman” and he could beat him with ease last week, Jerry Lee Tennessee was gifted the chance to prove his words, being put in the main event against the menacing good-looking babyface, Texas Hangman. In a bout that has decent wrestling, the blues musician tries to avoid  contact for as much as he can before “The Hangman” finally puts his hands on him. JLT gets a comeback after some dirty tactics, but a huge Big Boot from the menacing imposing babyface stuns him for good! Texas Hangman gets ready for his Choke Slam to seal the deal, but right there he it comes his rival Sandman Winks, storming inside the squared circle to attack him: DQ! DQ! Texas Hangman gets the W, but it’s a Pyrrhic one. [45]

Jerry Lee Tennessee ducks out of the ring, relieved that the match is over regardless of the referee decision. He was seconds away from a devastating Choke Slam, being able to walk backstage on his own legs is enough to be happy for today. Inside the squared circle, Sandman Winks keeps beating down Texas Hangman, before trying to put him to sleep with his signature Sleeper Hold! However, Texas Hangman showcases his resilience, fighting back for many and many seconds before finally free himself from the hold; “The Hangman” breaks the Sleeper Hold! Sandman Winks gets mad and beats a retreat, and the show ends with Texas Hangman standing alone in the ring. There needed to be a little more star power to successfully have them fighting for that long though. [30]

Will OCW have a 50+ rating? [1 Pts]I doubted you last week and was proven wrong. But I say NO again.
Any thoughts/feedback on latest show?  They are always easy reads. Again the El Mariachi segment was well written.  They've really done the job making me look forward to his debut without having him do anything at all. And I liked the Cactus Jack segments throughout, I always enjoy when an episode has a little running storyline throughout.

Any thoughts/feedback on latest show? Despite the low rating, Los Spurs vs The Dusty Oulaws was a good prototypical match of what you'd expect from OCW

I haven't been doing predictions here because I think you are doing some interesting and somewhat unexpected stuff with these guys and I really dont know where you are going with stuff (which is great).  Loving the EL MARIACHI build up and it makes total sense where you are situated to bring some more Lucha flavour in.

One prediction though - I think that belt is NEVER coming off Steele whilst he's available - his capacities are insane for a small fed like this and he's the sort of star every emerging fed needs to keep strong and build around.  He's got flaws but lets face it you get a person with that Menace and Star Quality you push them to the moon while you can.

Stuff like this diary makes me remember why I love wrestling.

Thx a lot! When thinking about "El Mariachi" I wanted to create a OCW-trademark owned version of TNA's Suicide, a masked luchador who I can eventually easily replace kayfabe-wise with another wrestler under the mask, if the original worker left the company. Obviously the gimmick is different and the luchador is more muscular, but again that was the inspiration ;)

Wow, that last line hit me! Thx a lot ;) Personally, with so few changes happened in the CVerse, having Luke Steele tryna going Hollywood and being available was probably my fav narrative in the game so far. He's a major star no doubt about, and a huge heel champ may really make a young up-and-coming babyface eventually!

Everything continues to build nicely. The Al Coleman singles match was a nice way to use Rocco Renoir's injury to progress the story and keep The Mat Masters hot heading into their title match. Cactus Jack remains one of the most compelling characters despite or perhaps because of his lack of in-ring fortune. Your tag division is already feeling pretty deep and the same is true of the roster as a whole, with limiting Big Hustle and Luke Steele to the opening segment and a short backstage bit creating space for the likes of Tennessee, Hangman and Sandman to shine.

Governor Ricky Johnson opens up the show, entering the ring where a big wooded podium stands tall in the middle of it, with something hidden behind a black veil. The Commissioner calls out The Mat Masters - accompanied by their agent Herb Stately - and The War Thunders, the two duos that next week will collide to crown the inaugural OCW Southern Tag Team championship. Ricky Johnson unveil what was hidden over the podium, and here they are, two beautiful shining Tag Team title belts!

image.png image.png

Wishing good luck to both team, “The Governor” thinks that it’s all set and done for next week, but tensions start to rise after sport agent Herb Stately cuts a promo on the Native-American babyfaces. This lead to an improvised one-on-one starting right here, right now between Wild Red Stallion and “The Machine” Warren Technique! [50]

Warren Technique.png   Wild Red Stallion.png

Warren Technique vs Wild Red Stallion

A referee runs to the ring and the match starts with Warren Technique using his technical prowess to control the early minutes, wearing down Wild Red Stallion, while his agent Herb Stately gives him advice from ringside. Wild Red Stallion struggles but slowly begins to build momentum, fighting back with powerful strikes and bursts of offense. Just as Wild Red Stallion is setting up for his Lakota Cutter, poised to complete his comeback, Al Coleman suddenly jumps into the ring and attacks him from behind, causing the referee to call for the bell. Wild Red Stallion wins by DQ! The Mat Masters than immediately leaves the ring, avoiding a two-on-two tussle against The War Thunders, as Eagle Two Tomahawk storms in to help his tag partner. Next time it will be a different story - though, as these two teams will collide for a chance to become the inaugural OCW Southern Tag Team champions! [33]

image.png

This week on the Bucks Saloon, Haley Buck is joined by babyface powerhouse Texas Hangman, who looks like a million dollar with his Southern character, his menacing look and his sex appeal. Haley Bucks seems kinda “interested” in “The Hangman” and becomes less of a smooth talkin’ devil and more of a shy fangirl. Cracking a cold one with her, Texas Hangman keeps his distance, showing no feelings or interest. After all, are we sure the Hangman can have feelings? Talking about his rival Sandman Winks, that loudmouth Jerry Lee Tennessee and so on, the heavyweight babyface at one point crumbles to the ground! SOMEONE ATTACKED HIM! IT’S SANDMAN WINKS! “The Master of the Sleeper Hold” breaks a bottle on Hangman’s skull, making him fall down, before starting to stomp him on the ground. Haley Bucks looks shocked and improvises well with her dramatic acting. Multiple crew members storms to the scene and tries to calm down Sandman Winks, who shouts at Texas Hangman that he’ll put him to sleep! It doesn’t matter how! [34]

Rocco Renoir.pngValentine Rayne.png   Kalder Tagg.pngWolfie Tagg.png

The Heartbreakers vs The Montana Lumberjacks

The match begins with Valentine Rayne taking the lead for The Heartbreakers, determined to protect his partner, Rocco Renoir, who’s still recovering from a broken jaw injury. The Montana Lumberjacks, Wolfie and Kalder Tagg, focus their attacks on Rayne, using their power and teamwork to wear him down. “The Southern Charm” holds his own, but it’s clear that Renoir’s limited involvement is part of their strategy. Despite his injury, Renoir rallies for a hot tag, charging into the ring and landing a few quick strikes on the Lumberjacks and getting close to the victory. As soon as the Taggs trying to aim for his jaw, though, Valentine Rayne is able to get back the tag and defeat his opponents. The Heartbreakers’ resilience pays off as Valentine Rayne catches Wolfie Tagg off-guard with a perfectly timed Rayne Drop: 1 .. 2 .. 3! [31]

image.png

In a video package backstage, Big Hustle gets three minutes to cut a promo on “Unbreakable” Luke Steele, the OCW Southern Heavyweight champion who tonight will defend his title strap from “The Hustler” in the main event. Big Hustle shows his ATL swag, telling that Luke Steele already showed he’s afraid of him. And “The Hustler” has to give it to him, at least he didn’t runaway from a title match, but soon after the bell he’ll realize that he’s tryna punch waaay over his weight. Luke Steele got lucky in the Gold Rush match, but tonight is a whole different situation. One versus one, two heavyweight giving them all, and Big Hustle will break the not-so-Unbreakable steele to become the new OCW Souhtern Heavyweight champion. [26]

image.png

Conner Threepwood.png   Jay Silver.png

Conner Threepwood vs Jay Silver

Babyface Jay Silver kicks off the match with quick explosive strikes, catching Conner Threepwood off guard early on. However, Conner Threepwood’s methodical approach soon slows Jay Silver down, using stretches and holds to wear him out. Jay Silver attempts a last burst of offense, but Conner Threepwood counters and transitions into his finisher, locking in the Stretch Plum - an abdominal stretch variation. With the hold cinched in tightly, Silver is forced to tap out. Nice lower card match. [39]

image.png

A furious, furious Archie Aldred III enters the squared circle and demands Governor Ricky Johnson to walk out here to address what happened last week, when “The Lone Star Cowboy” Buck Winchester destroyed AAIII’s sports car in the parking lot. Ricky Johnson joins his wrestler to clear the air, but “The Oil Prince” menaces the Commissioner, OCW, The Lone Star Cowboy himself of legal action! What happened last week was unacceptable, a thug act, and Buck Winchester is fully responsible, just like Ricky Johnson himself, right? After all, he has responsability over what happened on stage and backstage in The Outpost! “The Governor” tries to calm him down, wanting to avoid legal actions against his promotion, telling that Buck Winchester was suspended this week after his actions, diplomatically asking what “The Oil Prince” may accept as compensation to keep lawyers out of this. To everyone surprise, what Archie Aldred III asks for is … a one-on-one match, against The Lone Star Cowboy, next week! And not just a regular match, something done the Ol’ Southern way; A NO DISQUALIFICATION BOUT! Governor Ricky Johnson seems genuinely surprise, accepting “The Oil Prince” demand and making the match official for next week! [56]

image.png

image.png   Mercy Michaels.png

Jason Patterson vs Mercy Michaels

It looks like Jason Patterson - accompanied by Sweet Tabitha and tag partner Stanley Axis - and Mercy Michaels - with tag partner Cockroach Carter on his side - have great chemistry when fighting each other, and it shows in their performances. Competitors are evenly matched early on, with Mercy Michaels trying to use his cunning and aggression to get the upper hand while “The Oklahoma Thunderbolt” Jason Patterson fights back with pride. Cockroach Carter tries to distract the referee a couple of time to give his tag partner any edge he can, leading to the ringside teams exchange heated words, adding to the chaos. The turning point comes when Mercy Michaels orders Cockroach Carter to cause a distraction, but Stanley Axis intercepts, leading to a brief scuffle at ringside. Jason Patterson uses the opportunity to overpower Mercy Michaels, catching him off-guard with his signature Oklahoma Stampede and securing the win. [39]

Returning backstage, in another video package, the OCW Southern Heavyweight champion Luke Steele replies to Big Hustle’s promo earlier on, hyping their main event title match. Again, Luke Steele emphasizes that he ain't scared of a damn man in this world, and he run away from any challenger. He left his hometown, his family, his life to become a mega star here in North America, and he’ll crush anyone who comes between him and the stardom. So Big Hustle, say your prayers and enjoy the last minutes of health, ‘cause after tonight you’ll go from “The Hustler” to “The Wounded”. Steele is hard to heal! [32]

After tonight’s tough loss, The Dusty Outlaws - still fired up and seething - are approached backstage for an interview. Before Mya Catalan can get a word in, Mercy Michaels grab the mic and aggressively call out The Steam Express. Yeah, Jason Patterson and Stanley Axis might’ve rolled through tonight, but they’re not done yet! Cockroach Carter then wants to add something, taking the stick. Promising a showdown where the gritty Outlaws will make The Steam Express eat their words, Cockroach Carter says that they’re gonna put dust on those pretty faces soon enough! [22]

Gunner Jackson, Los Spurs vs Cobra, The Explosive Receipt

The match starts with fast-paced action as “El Vaquero” Manny Alvarez and Gringo Loco keep Pepper J and Dynamite Martin on the defensive. The heel trio then try to ground the babyfaces, but Pepper J’s chronic back injury hampers his mobility, slowing him down in key moments. Cobra carries much of the workload for his team, but eventually the surprising chemistry between Gunner Jackson and Los Spurs helps them maintain the upper hand. As the match reaches its climax, a hot tag brings Gunner Jackson in, and he clears house. After a flurry of strikes, Gunner seizes the moment, hitting Pepper J with his signature Quick Shot, scoring the decisive pinfall after twelve minutes. [33]

After the match, babyfaces celebrate at ringside along with the fans in attendance here at The Outpost. The spotlight however quickly goes on to the ramp, where Cactus Jack is standing alongside his girlfriend Lola Starr. Jack Pryde ironically claps his hands for Cobra, Pepper J and Dynamite Martin who are licking their wounds in the middle of the squared circle. The three heels give an annoyed look at Cactus Jack, who mocks them by telling ‘em “good job”. After being ignored and pushed away by them in previous weeks, it looks like this loss gave Cactus Jack some sort of moral revenge. [13]

Jerry Lee Tennessee steps onto the stage, guitar in hand, ready to give the fans one of his musical performances he claims to be as good as his matches. Dressed in his flashy attire, JLT adjusts his mic and strums a few notes to warm up. Just as he begins his first song, the sound of another guitar overcomes his, catching everyone off guard. Jerry Lee Tennessee doesn’t catch it immediately, but after a few seconds he start to realize. A masked figure makes his entrance on the stage; IT’S EL MARIACHI!! Debuting on camera, the luchador confidently strolls down the aisle, playing a lively tune that completely drowns out JLT’s performance. The crowd is split between confusion and excitement as El Mariachi approaches the stage. Jerry Lee Tennessee is visibly annoyed, trying to regain control of the moment. He cranks up his guitar and starts playing louder, but El Mariachi stops on the ramp and outshines him with an even flashier performance. Frustrated and embarrassed, JLT stops playing and shouts at El Mariachi, who just shrugs and plays one last defiant riff on his guitar, leaving the Blues musician fuming. Tipping on his mariachi hat, El Mariachi turns his back on an irritated Jerry Lee Tennessee and return backstage. [37]

09. OCW Southern Heavyweight title.png

Luke Steele (c) vs Big Hustle for the OCW Southern Heavyweight title

And now it’s time for the main event, with the Southern Heavyweight championship up for grabs! The bout turns into a clash between two powerhouse wrestlers, with both Luke Steele and Big Hustle relying on strength and heavy strikes. The early going is evenly matched as the two muscular competitors exchange powerful blows and big slams. “The Unbreakable” then starts resorting to underhanded tactics, knowing he needs an edge to keep up with Hustle’s relentless offense. As the match builds to its climax after more than fifteen, Big Hustle gains control and looks poised to capture the title. Sensing danger, Luke Steele decides to take a shortcut. The champ grabs his steel chain laying on the steps, gets into the ring and aggressively shoves the referee away while he tries to stop him, clearly intending to hit his opponent with that. Before Luke Steele can use the chain, however, Big Hustle anticipates him: Hustler’s Headbutt!!! OMG! Big Hustle flooring Steele, the crowd roars as “The Hustler” goes for the pinfall, but … The Referee Clinton Edwards has already called for the bell! DIN DIN DIN! Big Hustle looks at the referee, not understanding what just happened, making him notice that he has the win in his pocket following his signature move. Referee goes to talk to the ring announcer, who explain the verdict: “Unbreakable Luke Steele has been disqualified for his actions, meaning that the winner by disqualification his Big Hustle! However, due to champion advantage, Luke Steele is still your OCW Southern Heavyweight champion. [39]

Big Hustle is furious, pacing around the ring and demanding an explanation from Referee Clinton Edwards, accusing the ref of robbing him of the championship. Clinton Edwards is a Southern soul, not very diplomatic, and shouts back at Big Hustle that he had no choice but to call the disqualification. “The Hustler” isn't having it though, stepping closer to the referee, clearly agitated. Before things escalate, Governor Ricky Johnson strides to the ring, looking to get to the bottom of the situation. The Commissioner asks the referee to explain the call again, this time directly to him. Referee Clinton Edwards reiterates that he was pushed by Luke Steele and saw the steel chain being brought into play, which left him with no option but to end the match by DQ. Ricky Johnson listens carefully and then turns to Big Hustle, who demands the decision be overturned. The Commissioner takes a moment to think it over, but ultimately confirms the referee’s decision, stating that despite the circumstances, the rules were followed. Big Hustle is visibly upset, while Luke Steele has now grabbed his title and he’s laughing on the ramp, smirking and taunting “The Hustler”, confident that he escaped with his championship intact. Big Hustle was robbed! Not just by the ref, but by RDJ who should have restarted the match! It's done the job making me root for him next time.

El Mariachi debut was great, as was Winks attack.

Something makes me think AA3 has a plan... he does seem like the type who would suit either a big monster or a tag team as lackeys, he's got the money to have people in his pocket after all.

My gut was to go for MM to win Tag Titles, but I'm thinking you might want to a face tag team to balance out Steele holding the gold. Not that I really think 2 titles being held by heels, especially early on to give time for some faces to rise is a bad thing. Maybe I've thought myself out of my choice now...

Any thoughts/feedback on latest show? The Oil Prince vs The Lone Star Cowboy is a very interesting feud to follow. In the last round I did a good job predicting, let's see if I can keep up the same level
