  1. Seriously how much longer is the IWC going to let that **** slide? TNA bring back Hogan and Flair and are crucified. At least they can still talk on the mic without forgetting the name of the damn company. Bret Hart's return has been embarrassing to watch. The only reason he's still around is because Bret likes money, and Vince likes having a walking cheap pop under contract. Oh and guess what. Bret Hart has been getting more TV time in his return than Hogan has gotten in his. 20 minute segments in the weeks before Mania. 20 minute segments after Mania. 10 minute segment with the NXT guys. Per appearance he has been on screen more. And he's screwed up at least 15% of his lines.
  2. What are you trying to prove? That TNA sucks? Boy you're breaking new ground with that one. TNA is (supposedly) squandering their talent? I've never heard anyone say those things before. Get on your Revelation Hats folks! The main problem I have with people like you is that you'll ignore every positive TNA has ever had to just focus on their failures. Now do their failures out-weigh their successes? That's debatable. But have they had many successes? Yes. But you ignore them all because they're not doing as well as you (and even they) think they should be doing. Again you bring up Hogan. Hogan has gotten about 4 minutes of TV time on average per Impact since Lockdown. If not less. TNA has been making a concerted effort to have less Hogan and less Bischoff. It just looks like your complaints are three-months too late. It's a very different show and a very different booking pattern since the infamous March 8th show. But since they're under the banner of TNA, every failure since 2002 is going to manifest itself in the next 6 months. I can't help but get the feeling that if TNA doesn't fail, you'll be disappointed.
  3. I didn't intend my words to be taken so literally. They've had 3 months of good TV followed up with as good a PPV as could be expected of them all things considered. But to you it's all just a set up for them failing yet again. If you're going to just going to sit, tap your foot waiting for them to fail, I won't stop you. You're complaining about stuff that happened in 6 months ago. Get over it! I've been enjoying TNA. Most of your complaints aren't really complaints about the current TNA product, it's you predicting disappointment. Well if that's going to be your mentality you'll never be happy with the product.
  4. Watched Big Show's appearance on Royal Pains. He blades. I found it ironic.
  5. I don't know about you, but TNA has definitely been showing direction in the last few weeks. And wanting everyone you like to get a Jesus Push is a recipe for disaster.
  6. The 4th hour won't even have wrestling on it. I think the overkill/overexposure argument is a little off. If they have 3 hours of wrestling every week and utilize the diverse selection of talent they have on their hands, they'll be fine. Reaction is basically a recap show. Xplosion could basically become the X-Division show with a bunch of fast-paced action and then have Impact as the main show. Use the segments vacated by the X-Division to give the Knockouts division more exposure on Impact.
  7. TNA is looking to renew their working agreement with AAA. And it looks like the Xplosion move is going to happen.
  8. A recent rumor states that TNA is basically set to take over Thursday nights. Xplosion is rumored to be coming back to the states and to air before Impact (with JB on commentary!). Reaction is already set to be aired after Impact. Every Thursday night there will be 4 hours of TNA from 8PM-12AM EST. The big surprise? Just part of the surprise? Or just a silly rumor? YOU DECIDE!
  9. No you are not alone. My thoughts are they either have to do with the Abyss turn, or why Sting why.
  10. Part of Abyss' gimmick has been that he does that type of stuff. After becoming a teddy bear for half a year, I think it's understandable that they remind the fans of what a heel Abyss means. Was it a bit far? Yes. Was it so far that TNA should be chastised? Not yet. Now if they have a pane of glass death match on the next episode of Impact or are putting people on top of glass every week, I'll call foul.
  11. I don't mind a little garbage as long as it is used to tell a story. The glass tonight helped tell a story and give re-birth to 'The Monster' Abyss If it helps matters it was sugar glass that was in the ring.
  12. **** mental patients! We should only root for those of us who are mentally healthy.
  13. A .8 on cable is still a good rating. They're doing poorly compared to Raw (one of the highest rated cable television shows). But compared to other cable TV shows, they're doing very well.
  14. Only in the IWC do 1,000,000 weekly viewers = nobody watches it.
  15. "What was that all about?" "YOU!!!!!" Very well executed heel turn. I had my questions going into it, but watching how they pulled it off. Very well done.
  16. I like Taz as the color guy. He may have some mixups sometimes but I enjoy seeing his rapport with Mike Tenay grow and grow. If they work together for a while they'll be the best announcing team since JR & King. I think Nash would be an awesome color guy opposite Jeremy Borash (hint hint).
  17. GNC investing in TNA? Editor's Note: Any story in the TSC Rumor Mill is just that, a rumor, until further notice. This is news before it's news. It's a rumor. According to two representatives, one of General Nutrition Centers (GNC) and one of Sirius XM Satellite Radio who works with the health and nutrition juggernaut, GNC may be looking to invest and perhaps, buy out Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA Entertainment). TNA is currently owned by Panda Energy, which is ran by Bob Carter, father of TNA President Dixie Carter.
  18. If it happened on PPV virtually no one would see it (legally).
  19. While I agree with your main point. That's not always true. There are some things in wrestling that aren't just different, but are terrible. For example: A fan wanting unprotected chair shots in your wrestling isn't just wanting something different, they want something terrible. It's not all a gray area.
  20. Is it just me or is this whole story line beginning to reek of WCW? People being fired in reality, people being fired in kayfabe, the fans not being completely sure the company isn't trying to run an elaborate work on everyone, stupid car stunts, bad acting, bad writing, etc.
  21. Another good sign: Abyss turned heel. I hope he has Chelsea with him in some really bizarre beauty and the beast combo.
  22. Rejoice Hyde! Spoiler from tonight's tapings: The Band were stripped of the Tag Titles. A tournament was set up and the winners of the tourny face MCMG at Victory Road for the Tag Titles. Also, there are plans in place to bring Xplosion back to the US. Not the surprise, however.
