Thanks Tristram, I'll look in to doing a few more in the future.

Can I be a pain and ask youto remove your No Way Out predictions as that is only half of the final card for the ppv, there are a couple more weeks left until the ppv yet, I'm just going to have a list of the current card after every show to build it up you see. Sorry :(

Last week on ECW, Finlay became the new number one contender to Jack Swagger's ECW Title, but his joy was shortlived as the champion attacked both him and his son Hornswoggle immediately following his victory. Finlay will surely be out for Swagger's blood, but he'll have to keep his focus when he faces Paul Burchill this week on ECW.

As for the champion, Swagger will hope to prove a point to Finlay heading towards No Way Out, as he takes on the young up and comer Ricky Ortiz.

Also, Tommy Dreamer will be looking to prove to everyone - including himself - that he still has what it takes to be a force on ECW, but to do so he will have to beat 'The Worlds Strongest Man' Mark Henry.

Finlay vs Paul Burchill

Jack Swagger vs Ricky Ortiz

Tommy Dreamer vs Mark Henry

You get 3 matches to predict for this weeks ECW, that's 3 times more than last week!

Finlay vs Paul Burchill

Much as I love Burchill's style (even enough to burn poo), Finlay is a top star. But I believe Burchill's time is coming.

Jack Swagger vs Ricky Ortiz

Ortiz has the physical tools to beat Swagger but Swagger has that "I hate that go so much!" kinda charm that he gets the win.

Tommy Dreamer vs Mark Henry

Poor Tommy. . .that's all I can say.

Tuesday 3rd February 2009

Cox Arena, San Diego, CA

Attendance: 8,469

Highlights from last weeks ECW play, showing Jack Swagger attacking Finlay moments after the Irishman became number one contender to Swagger's ECW Championship.

Pyros erupt around the top of the ramp as the camera pans the crowd...

Todd Grisham: Welcome to ECW, Todd Grisham and Matt Striker here as always to bring you all the action, and Matt, at No Way Out, Finlay will look to take on the as yet undefeated Jack Swagger for the ECW Championship.

Matt Striker: Quite a task awaiting Finlay, but Swagger perhaps making a mistake last week by making that match not just about the ECW Championship but making it personal after that attack on Finlay and his son Hornswoggle at the end of last weeks show.

Todd Grisham: Maybe not the smartest move on the part of Jack Swagger..... and speaking of the ECW Champion.....

We cut backstage where Jack Swagger is in Teddy Long's office talking when an angry Finlay comes walking in. He gets right in Swagger's face, the champ not taking too kindly to the action, before Teddy Long asks Finlay to back off.

Finlay: You made a very big mistake last week Jack, you put your hands on me, fair enough, I can look after myself, but if you think you can get away with putting your hands on my son, then you're very mistaken boy....

Jack Swagger: Is that s....

Finlay: You're damn right it is boy.... you put your hands on my son once more and it won't be the ECW Championship I'm out for, it'll be your blood.

Finlay walks out as Swagger ponders over what his No Way Out opponent has just said.

Tommy Dreamer vs Mark Henry (w/ Tony Atlas)

Dreamer requested a match last week on ECW to prove he still has what it takes and General Manager Teddy Long duly obliged by giving him a match with Mark Henry. A lot of people wouldn't have had this in mind, but Dreamer seems pumped up at the chance to show he can still go against such fearsome opponents. Dreamer starts off well, kicking at the thighs and hamstrings of Henry but the big man soon uses his power to knock Dreamer down. Dreamer is valiant throughout but Henry always seems to be a step ahead and wears Dreamer down with a bearhug and high impact moves. Dreamer briefly fights back and looks to nail a DDT but Henry counters and plants Dreamer with a Worlds Strongest Slam for the win.

Winner: Mark Henry

Pinfall

7:26

After the match, Tony Atlas grabs a microphone and enters the ring where he passes it to Henry.

Mark Henry: I think I have just proven that Tommy Dreamer no longer has what it takes to become ECW Champion because as long as there are people like me in ECW, then Tommy, you just don't have a chance....

Henry raises his arms as Atlas stands behind him applauding, as ECW fades to commercials.

Finlay (w/ Hornswoggle) vs Paul Burchill

Burchill is on his own for this match as Katie Lea has a match later on. Finlay looks in the mood to tear someone apart, and Burchill is his unfortunate victim as the Irishman looks on the very top of his game. Burchill gets in the odd bit of offence but Finlay is simply too good for him today, and puts him away with a Celtic Cross.

Winner: Finlay

Pinfall

4:40

After the match, Jack Swagger again comes to the ring and ambushes Finlay from behind before nailing him with a Gutwrench Powerbomb. As Hornswoggle comes to check on his father, Swagger just pushes him over with a smug, derisory look on his face before leaving the ring smiling.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After the break we see Tiffany backstage holding a microphone

Tiffany: You join me at this time where I am with ECW Champion Jack Swagger. Jack, I just wanted to ask about your attack just before the break on Finlay, your second attack on him in a week. Is it because you fear facing him at No Way Ou....

Jack Swagger: Fear him? Are you kidding me? No, I don't fear Finlay, I have absolutely no reason to. In case you've forgotten, I am still undefeated in singles competition in the WWE and it is going to remain that way long after No Way Out. If Finlay wants my ECW Title he is going to have to do what nobody has been able to, and that is pin me 1..2..3 in the middle of the ring, and quite frankly, Tiffany, he just isn't good enough to beat me.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

http://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/sebsyboy/WIABA%20DIVAS/th_AliciaFox.jpgvshttp://s108.photobucket.com/albums/n31/sebsyboy/WIABA%20DIVAS/th_KatieLeaNEWOCT2708.jpg

Alicia Fox (w/ DJ Gabriel) vs Katie Lea Burchill (w/ Paul Burchill)

Katie is looking to restore some Burchill pride after her brothers earlier loss and she is clearly more competent in the ring than Alicia, who is still in her training days under DJ Gabriel. However, Alicia picks up the surprise victory when Paul Burchill tries to interfere, resulting in DJ chasing after him and distracting Katie Lea, who is rolled up by Alicia for the pin.

Winner: Alicia Fox

Pinfall

5:29

As DJ and Alicia celebrate with a scornful looking Katie Lea and Paul Burchill staring at them from in the ring, we cut to the final ad break of the night.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We return to ECW where we see highlights of Jack Swagger once again attacking Finlay after his win earlier tonight, as Todd Grisham and Matt Striker talk us over the events.

Jack Swagger vs Ricky Ortiz

This is a big chance for Ricky Ortiz to show what he's made of as he has so far failed to truly show that he's possible championship material, and he gives Swagger a tough match tonight. Swagger controls the early going by grounding Ortiz and wearing him down as well as performing a few variations of the suplex. Ortiz holds in there and manages a slight fight back but Swagger steps it up a gear and nails Ortiz with the Gutwrench Powerbomb for the victory, knowing he's been in a match by the end.

Winner: Jack Swagger

Pinfall

7:42

As Swagger arrogantly orders the referee to raise his hand, Finlay sprints to the ring with his shillelagh but Swagger spots him and high tails it through the ropes and up the ramp as the fans cheer Finlay. ECW fades out.

SHOW RATING: D

Smackdown rolls in to Hershey, PA this week, and just over a week before No Way Out, we are still to find out the final two participants in the WWE Championship Elimination Chamber match. One of those will be decided in a five-man over the top rope Battle Royal as Mark Henry, The Great Khali, Vladimir Kozlov, Chavo Guerrero and United States Champion Shelton Benjamin all look to earn their place inside the foreboding structure and join current champion Edge, The Undertaker, Triple H and The Big Show.

R-Truth and Ezekiel Jackson will face each other again this week after Jackson's victory last week thanks to the help of The Brian Kendrick. Truth will be looking to repay the favour by beating Kendrick's bodyguard.

Kendrick himself may have his thoughts elsewhere as he faces MVP, a man back on the up after months of suffering at the hands of seemingly every other Smackdown superstar. MVP will be hoping to make it three wins in a row this week on Smackdown.

To catch all these matches and much more, don't forget to tune in to Smackdown, Friday night!

Friday 6th February 2009

Giant Center, Hershey, PA

Attendance: 10,000

After the usual WWE intro we cut straight to Vickie Guerrero's office where she is facing the camera.....

Vickie Guerrero: Hello, and welcome to Smackdown.... After the events of the Royal Rumble a couple of weeks ago, Jeff Hardy has not returned to Smackdown as he has been at home recuperating. Jeff will not be here tonight, nor will he be on Smackdown next week, however.... Jeff Hardy will make his return an No Way Out where he will get his WWE Championship rematch against my husband Edge inside the Elimination Chamber. Thank you for your time, and I hope you enjoy the show....

The camera pans around the excited crowd and the pyros go off around the stage......

JR: Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown, and for those of you who missed it, a huge announcement at the top of the show by General Manager Vickie Guerrero, who informed us that Jeff Hardy will be part of the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.

Tazz: What an Elimination Chamber it is shaping up to be, JR. WWE Champion Edge, defending his title against The Undertaker, Triple H, Jeff Hardy and The Big Show, with the final spot yet to be decided here tonight in a 5 man over the top rope battle royal.

JR: A lot on the line for the 5 men involved in that match up... a shot at the WWE Championship....

R-Truth vs Ezekiel Jackson (w/ The Brian Kendrick)

A rematch from last week where Ezekiel Won thanks to the interference of Kendrick. The match starts similarly to last week as Truth initially dazzles Ezekiel with his speed before Ezekiel takes hold of the match through sheer brute force. It's a decent back and forth match that once again ends due to interference from Kendrick. This week however, his efforts prove to be counter productive as he gets up on the apron as Ezekiel looks to whip Truth to the ropes, only for Truth to counter it and send Jackson steaming into Kendrick, who falls off the apron and hits the barricade. Ezekiel is distracted long enough, and when he turns is hit with a kick to the gut followed by a Corkscrew Scissors Kick, giving Truth the pinfall victory.

Winner: R-Truth

Pinfall

5:53

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We cut backstage where Vickie is in her office, when Edge comes walking in looking anxious....

Edge: Vickie... what the hell's going on... I just got here and the first thing I hear is that you've put Jeff Hardy in to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out... I mean what the hell, Vickie....

Vickie Guerrero: Edge.... calm down.... look, I had no choice, if it was up to me there wouldn't even be an Elimination Chamber match at No Way Out for your WWE Title but there is and Jeff Hardy is entitled to a rematch so I thought it woul...

Edge: No, that's just it, you didn't think, did you....

Edge runs his hands through his hair before leaving the room as Vickie shouts after him, before Smackdown fades to commercials.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We rejoin Smackdown and the beautiful sight of Eve Torres staring in to the camera...

Eve Torres: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome, Matt Hardy. Matt, I have to ask what drove you to do what you did to your brother Jeff at the Royal Rumble and then make the comments that you did last week on Smackdown.

Matt Hardy: First of all, Eve, I've already made it very clear that I have no brother, the only thing Jeff and I have in common is a last name. I explained last week why I did what I did at the Royal Rumble and I don't need to stand here and say the same th.....

Hardy is distracted and the camera pans out a little to reveal Hurricane Helms, and Eve Torres leaves the area.....

Hurricane Helms: I can't tell you how much it pains me to see you behaving like this, Matt. I've known you and your brother since we were kids, Jeff's had his troubles but I consider him one of my closest friends. I can't believe you are acting like such an egotistical, jealous coward....... but you know what, Matt? I'm not surprised that you're jealous, because as far as I'm concerned, Jeff has always been the better wrestler and the better man, and he always will be....

Helms walks off as an evidently angered Matt Hardy watches him go.

Brie & Nikki Bella vs Maryse & Michelle McCool

The more experienced Michelle McCool and Divas Champion Maryse control the match but the twins show the fighting spirit that attracts Carlito and Primo to them. Maryse has Brie under control and starts pulling her hair much to Nikki's annoyance. Nikki starts to come into the ring but the official stops her. Maria runs down to the ring as Maryse tags Michelle in, and pulls McCool off the apron. Michelle hits the apron face first then the referee turns as Brie has enough about her to roll Maryse up and pin the Divas champion for the upset victory, the tag to Michelle obviously not seen by the official.

Winners: Brie & Nikki Bella

Pinfall

5:43

An angry Michelle McCool glares at Maria as she backs up the ramp smiling with Brie and Nikki either side of her.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We cut backstage where Vickie Guerrero is walking along a corridor asking random people if they have seen Edge, when she bumps in to Triple H! Vickie can't hide her disdain for 'The Game' but is clearly worried as she asks him.....

Vickie Guerrero: Have you seen Edge?

Triple H: Yeah, I've seen him.

Vickie Guerrero: Really?

Triple H: Yeah... he's that guy with the huge jaw, weird staring eyes, and a really funny looking wife.......

Vickie Guerrero: You think you're really funny don't you Triple H....

Triple H: I guess you could say I have a certain sense of humour.... look anyway, where ever Edge is, perhaps it's for the best, I mean he's going to lose his WWE Title to me at No Way Out, and he knows it, I'm always one step ahead of Edge and you, Vickie, so maybe he's saving himself the embarrassment by not even showing up.....

Vickie Guerrero: You may well be in the Elimination Chamber, Triple H, but why don't we see if 'you' make it to No Way Out, because tonight... you go one on one with The Big Show....

Vickie walks off as Triple H thinks about what he's just heard, as we head to commercials.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are shown a video of the confrontation earlier in the night between Hurricane Helms and Matt Hardy. JR and Tazz discuss it as the music of Hurricane Helms plays and he makes his way out. JR says that a match has been made between the two to take place right now....... however as Helms makes his way out, Matt Hardy runs down the ramp and smashes Helms across the back with a clubbing blow. Hardy picks Helms up and throws him against the barricade that lines the ramp. Helms is dazed and lying amongst camera cables which Hardy quickly utilises by wrapping around Helms' throat. Hardy looks quite crazed as he looks to choke out Helms, before releasing his grip and walking towards the ring and snooping under the apron from where he produces a steel chair. He walks over to Helms who has crawled on to the ramp on his hands and knees and Hardy delivers a series of hard shots ti his spine with the chair as officials and backstage staff pour out to try and get Hardy to stop the assault. Hardy backs off as the officials tend to Helms and they eventually get him to his feet although he is right out of it as a referee stands each side of him with his arms draped over their necks. Hardy suddenly storms through the sea of officials, pushing them aside before grabbing Helms and wrapping his arm around his neck and making a familiar gesture before planting Helms with a vicious Twist Of Fate on the steel ramp. The officials shout at Hardy to back off and he backs up the ramp, satisfied with his work, obvious from the crazed grin on his face.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We fade in to the video showing 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin as this years first inductee in to the 2009 Hall Of Fame. We fade to commercials once it finishes.

Umaga vs Jimmy Wang Yang

Umaga looked good on his return to action last week against Kung Fu Naki and continues his roll by squashing Smackdown's resident redneck in a brutally short match, ending Yang's dissection with a Samoan Spike.

Winner: Umaga

Pinfall

2:53

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We cut backstage where Vickie is still walking around asking people if they've seen Edge. She bumps into Chavo Guerrero and asks him if he's seen Edge. Chavo says he hasn't and that he would help her look for him, but he is preparing for the 5 man over the top rope battle royal to determine the final competitor in the No Way Out Elimination Chamber, and that he is going to win it so he can go on to help Edge retain at No Way Out.

MVP vs The Brian Kendrick (w/ Ezekiel Jackson)

Kendrick is backed up, as ever, by Ezekiel, but the big man sends the odd glance towards Kendrick that implies he is still annoyed at Kendrick costing him his match earlier in the night. Things have been going much better for MVP, as he is now on a winning streak and putting behind him months of turmoil. The pair start the match and MVP takes the initiative, as he picks Kendrick apart. Kendrick gets back in to the match with his speed and picks up a couple of near falls on MVP. MVP starts to get back into the match but Kendrick quickly throws him out of the ring and intentionally allows the referee to stop him heading out of the ring so that Ezekiel can do some damage. Ezekiel is hesitant, though, so hesitant that the referee turns before he can do anything and Kendrick decides he'll have to do the dirty work himself. He grabs the ropes and looks to catapult himself over the top and catch MVP, but MVP moves and Kendrick lands hard on the thin mats at ringside. MVP throws Kendrick into the ring and heads after him. Soon after MVP counters one last effort by Kendrick and hits a Drive By Kick to score another victory.

Winner: MVP

Pinfall

The Great Khali (w/ Ranjin Singh) vs Vladimir Kozlov vs Shelton Benjamin vs Mark Henry (w/ Tony Atlas) vs Chavo Guerrero

The match starts with both Chavo Guerrero and Shelton Benjamin looking rather wary of their opponents, being as they are, so much bigger than themselves. Chavo looks to make an immediate impact and runs full force at Kozlov who knocks him right down with a headbutt to the chest before throwing him over the top rope and out of the match before the 20 second mark. Benjamin picks his spot more wisely and battles with Mark Henry whilst Kozlov and Khali trade huge blows. Benjamin starts to get the upper hand of Henry and knocks him down to his knees with some chop blocks before attacking Khali. Kozlov and Benjamin team up on Khali but Khali stops him dead in his tracks with a chop to the top of the head before eliminating him from the match after the 2.30 mark. The remaining three men trade some huge right hands before Henry and Kozlov decide to team up on Khali. They take it in turns to give Khali their best and after a belly to belly suplex from Kozlov, Henry splashes Khali in the corner. Henry turns around and gets a massive headbutt in the chest from Kozlov, who himself reels backwards after what must have been like headbutting a tank. Kozlov regains his bearings and goes back on the attack, lifting Henry up by the ropes and sending him over with a huge headbutt to Henry's skull. Kozlov raises his arms and roars before turning around straight into a big boot from Khali. Khali stalks Kozlov as he gets to his feet and when he turns, Khali puts his hands on Kozlov's shoulders, looking for a Punjabi Plunge, but Kozlov just uses his head again, literally and sends his skull into the heart of Khali. Khali stumbles to the ropes and Kozlov grabs his legs and tips him over the ropes to win the match and gain the final spot inside the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out.

Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

7:40

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We cut backstage where an anxious looking Vickie Guerrero returns to her office having been unable to find Edge, only for the 'Rated R Superstar' to come walking in.....

Vickie Guerrero: Oh.. Edge.. I've been looking for you all night, where the hell have you been....

Edge: Vickie, I'm sorry, I.. I shouldn't have lost it with you earlier, I just needed to go and clear my head.... you know what, I don't even know why I lost it...... I mean everybody knows I'm better than all of my opponents in the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out... I'm better than Jeff Hardy, I'm better than The Undertaker, Triple H... all of them.

Vickie Guerrero: I know you are, baby....

Edge: I'm walking out of No Way Out with my WWE Title, and no one is going to stop me.

Edge grins a huge grin as he hugs Vickie before Smackdown fades into a final break...

Triple H vs The Big Show

The pair circle each other once the bell rings, sizing their foe up before locking up in the middle of the ring. Show displays his strength by pushing HHH away to the corner, although 'The Game' stays on his feet. The same thing happens for a second time but Triple H seems determined to show his strength by heading for a third lock up, that is until 'The Game' kicks Big Show in the gut and forces his head between his legs. Show wriggles out of it quickly and the look on his face says it all; he isn't happy that Triple H would look to end it so soon. The pair hook up again and Show pushes HHH into the corner, goes for a punch but misses and HHH lands a few right hands on Show before the referee orders him away. This sets the tone for the match as both men enjoy brief periods of dominance only for the other to counter. After around 9 minutes Big Show clasps his hand around 'The Game's' throat, looking for a Chokeslam but HHH counters it into a massive DDT and gets a 2 count. HHH waits for Show to get up and bounces off the ropes, smashing into Sow with a clothesline that only staggers the giant. HHH goes for another but Show hits a big boot to knock HHH down. Show stalks HHH as he stumbles back to his feet, Show's right fist clenched tight as he looks to land a knockout blow. HHH ambles towards him and Show throws his right, but HHH ducks and Show turns around for HHH to hit an impressive Spinebuster. HHH flexes his muscles as the crowd rise to their feet and 'The Game' is looking to end it with a Pedigree. Show gets up and HHH forces his head between his legs......

JR: What the?.....

The referee signals for the bell as Vladimir Kozlov has just smashed HHH from behind....

Tazz: It's Kozlov, obviously looking to send a message to his Elimination Chamber opponents!

Winner: Triple H

Triple H struggles up to his feet and turns only for Kozlov to charge at him and smash his head into his chest, knocking him right back down. Kozlov roars and raises his arms as Big Show leaves the ring, smiling when he sees HHH down and out, but sending a frown towards Kozlov. Smackdown fades out as Kozlov prowls around the ring with that miserable growling look we've all become accustomed to.

Texas' Moody Coliseum hosts this weeks RAW, and less than a week before No Way Out, WWE Champion John Cena and Chris Jericho will go one on one in a match announced last week by General Manager Stephanie McMahon. 'Y2J' will be looking to get one over on Cena just six days before the pair meet inside the Elimination Chamber.

Also heading to the Elimination Chamber at No Way Out will be Intercontinental Champion CM Punk. The 'Straight Edge Superstar' can not afford to look too far ahead however, as he defends his title this week on RAW against William Regal who is invoking his rematch clause having lost the title to Punk a few weeks back.

The other three participants in the Elimination Chamber will also get their chance to make a statement heading in to No Way Out as Rey Mysterio and Kofi Kingston team up against the ominous pairing of Kane and Mike Knox in tag team action.

After the shock of Shane O'Mac's return and the further surprise that he will face him in a No Holds Barred match at No Way Out, Randy Orton must also sit back and watch as Ted DiBiase faces Shane in a No Disqualifications match. Stephanie McMahon also made the point that should anyone interfere in the match they will be fired from the WWE, ensuring that DiBiase is well and truly on his own.

The WWE Universe will be waiting to hear the response of Shawn Michaels after JBL attacked him last week on RAW before issuing a challenge for The 'Heartbreak Kid' to face him in a match at No Way Out. If Michaels accepts and beats JBL, he will be free of his tyrannical grip but should he lose he will be an employee of JBL for the rest of his life. What will Michaels' decision be?

For all this and more, don't forget to tune in to RAW this Monday night...

Looking like a race between just Lexa90 and Tripps04 for the first month. No Way Out will be seperate from the regular shows so there will be seperate bragging rights for whoever guesses best over the shows between ppv's and whoever gets the most correct at the ppv.
