<p>Been stalled in getting to my game play lately so I've just now gotten into November.</p><p> </p><p>

Jake Panic is still annoyed at me and even a little more so now because I accidentally left him off the show a couple weeks ago. And I'll admit he has good reason to be. Not only is he now the most over worker on my roster, at C- he's one of the most over workers I've ever had in one of of my training games. I wouldn't be surprised if he ended up getting poached at some point.</p><p> </p><p>

Currently he's playing local hero in a Snidely Whiplash storyline with Klaus Blut (aka Herman The German) threatening the familly home of Woody Cudelli (Happy Elwood).</p><p> </p><p>

Ted Brady has happied up and now has the green smiley face for me. Wish I could say I could reciprocate it. But he's been a nuisance. He and Bob Shrunkle are currently in the crosshairs of Bob Casey who the Creative Meeting says is my number one face although Jake Panic is more over. At the current story pace, Brady could end up holding the title into 2011. </p><p> </p><p>

I hired on La Bestia Purpura who's currently in an obsession storyline with Quick Kick Nakao over Abi Romanov. And Monday Next who was let go by RAW. I've redubbed him Ozzie Monday and so far he's my talented jobber guy. But I do hope to get a storyline for him. </p><p> </p><p>

And I've just put a new spin on the Kinji Akamatsu/Mystery Mask feud. I was doing a Villian's Revenge from DOTT with them but it was starting to get boring for me. So I've taken it in the direction of the MVP/Matt Hardy story arc from Sonfaro's latest megapack. Deuce and Domino will be played by Gang Green (Aleksandr Knyazev and Ron Greenhorn) for the first part. </p><p> </p><p>

And I'm thinking I may try turning Noel Nebbish (The Minor Annoyance) in a member of the commentary team for a little bit. Just need a way to lay him on the shelf with a worked injury first.</p>

<p>Two weeks before The Supreme Challenge, my champion Rich Money broke his ankle! His feud with Angry Gilmore, which has been going in some form for the past six months, isn't going to get the perfect Supreme ending <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

He was just in a tag match with two of Gilmore's goons, and then beaten down backstage by three others (Gilmore has amassed a large cult but it's set to implode right before SC) so it can be easily adapted in the storyline... but now I have to scramble to pull a new main event together.</p><p> </p><p>

Everyone else worth talking about is already on the show in some capacity, so I have three options. 1) Make Faith/Eisen a #1 Contender match and have Faith face Gilmore, 2) Dan Stone Jr. is only on a PPA with NOTBPW but won't sign with me due to loyalty but I could fiddle with the editor to get him or 3) Rick Law's contract is up for renewal with TCW but he's extremely conservative so again it would take some fiddling.</p><p> </p><p>

Decisions, decisions... that will have to wait until after the football.</p>

Bruderschaft des Kreuzes.

It's a real shame you couldn't have Googled CHIKARA and found out fast, but the above tag will give you a way to find some pretty good summaries.

I was able to wiki them, and that seems like a great story line. I know about Chikara, but I don't follow it all that much. I've seen a few matches here and there, but the majority of my exposure to the Chikara wrestlers has come from DGUSA

<p>Yeah, sorry, I wasn't sure how BDK was spelled, but it is indeed a great storyline <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I really love the Chikara shows, and I am lucky enough to know how to get a hold of them <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

The IWL is now into 2011 and change has been in the air.

New world champion in Bob Casey dethroning Ted Brady at exactly the one year mark. Casey gets his revenge and Brady gets promptly fired after the show for being a pain in the tookis. Currently have Casey set up to feud with former Brady flunkie Bob Shrunkle in one of the stories from the Smackdown vs RAW pack.

Also had my first poaching on the game. NOTBPW signed my ref out from under me, inking Rob Perkins to a written deal. I wish him well. Rob's earned it.

Had Bradley Regan shipped in from Australia to replace him.

Also terminated were Abi Romanov, La Bestia Purpura, and Ron Greenhorn. Needed to freshen up the roster a bit. But Abi could be back if color commentator Eliza Buckley keeps making a nuisance of herself. In their places, I borught in Lillian O'Donahue (love the cute secretary type), Valentine, and Haruhiro Tsumemasa. Lillian's in for my Ex Games story arc to play the vengeful ex turned manager while Valentine and Tsumemasa (who I really want another name for) will probably start as job fodder. Particularly looking forward to working with Tsumemasa. The one time I've had him in the past was my failed attempt to break out of my mold in 2008 and play INSPIRE. Hopefully I can make something of him.

And I have one guy getting his first taste of being in a storyline as Lillian's dupe in the Ex Games storyline will be Donte Dunn.

Scrapped the Noel Nebbish as color commentator idea. When I did my end of year analysis, I saw just how much he'd benefitted in the ring and decided to keep working him at it. AAA just cut Sue Danes loose and I immediately put her on speed dial (AKA the shortlist). So if Eliza Buckley gets too out of control, I have my Plan B.

In my 2012 NYCW game a winner has been declared in the battle of the English wrestling promotions. That winner is...ROF!

I was shocked that they would outlast the other two but here they are as the sole major wrestling promotion in the U.K. at this time.

So Sam Strong left the business in March of 2012 Belle Bryden took over USPW. Two weeks later Alicia Strong is re-signed to a PPA contract. Looks like CGC's Golden Girls are going to become much stronger. Catherine Quine--my Golden Girl Champ--has been bowling over every other woman in CGC for the last year.

With our Summer Roadtrip Tour set to begin in June, I'm already excited to see an Alicia Strong vs Catherine Quine feud. This could be huge for my Golden Girls division since this Tour is going to be our second foray into the States. The last time was moderately successful. But since signing with The Pop Network to air CGC Sunday Night Mayhem our overness in the US has been skyrocketing. It's up to 62 across the board in the US.

Which means it's quite possible I could make a jump from Cult to International by the end of this tour.

So I got bored started a mini game and managed somehow to get Knuckles to 90 pop across the US through Menace Angles (despite being only a B) and getting his stamina up by 20 points through killing the poor man in 18 minute dark matches before and after the show.

Probably should play a real game soon, I mean Knuckles vs Christian Faith for the World Title at Supreme Challenge 2010? :p Really? :p

Rule of thumb: If they have B- or higher, you can get them over via Menace. At least that's my experience. Heck, even a few C/C+ folks have been jump started in part because of it. I'm looking at you, Farmer Fran...

SPEAKING OF APWF!!!

"American Muscle" Sam "Strong" Stragavelli (aka "The Man Of A Thousand Nicknames") managed to convince The Crew the opportunity to earn one more title shot against McKing, so long as he could defeat Terry Lambert in singles competition. If Terry won, however, The Crew got their pick at a shot at the APWF Tag Team titles (held by both Strong and Fran) or Sam's APWF Tri-State title. Naturally, Terry Lambert cheated to win... and naturally, The Crew neglected to inform the good guys that it was totally legal for them to challenge for BOTH belts... on the same night.

With Terry and The Brooklyn Punk challenging for the tag titles, and McKing already THE champ, they brought in "independent contractor" (but frequent hired gun and close ally) Kenzo Isozaki to face Stragavelli in the Main Event of APWF Showdown At Three Rivers. Sam and Fran defended the tag titles successfully, but the match (combined with a quick brawl following it) did it's damage: Sam Stragavelli was too badly beaten to fend off Isozaki, who defeated him for the Tri-State title.

Long story short, Sam Stragavelli managed to "persuade" McKing into giving him a title shot anyways after The Crew continued to antagonize poor dim-witted Farmer Fran. And, naturally (well, in APWF at least), McKing still triumphed in the final showdown. Oh, to be friends with Terry Lambert...

THIS has lead to McKing wanting to determine who in APWF is truly worthy of challenging him... thus devising a 16 man tournament of APWF's finest, with the winner getting a shot at the Steel City Supercard for the belt. And wouldn't you know it? A string of mysterious attacks by a masked Mystery Assailant seemed to befall folks like Farmer Fran, Sam Stragavelli, Brutus McBride, and finally Burt Selleck (who was originally saved by McBride). Injured by the mysterious attacker, Selleck was no match for Terry Lambert... the new number one contender for his best buddy's belt.

Other cool APWF stuff:

  • Sheik Mustafa suffered a severe concussion wrestling in AAFW... the second APWF star to be seriously injured there
  • The Minnesota Mauler has been signed!
  • Brutus McBride and Giant Grimsley had a brutal, bloody feud the ended with a huge Cage Match. Might go into more detail on this later, awesome upper-midcard feud
  • APWF All-Pro Wrestling as of September 1977, has RETURNED to television!
  • Suhail Assanti very briefly lead a stable with Sheik Mustafa and The Black Serpent Cult... but Mustafa's injury and my general disdain for Assanti lead to the stable breaking up and Cobra & Viper beating the crap out of their former leader
  • Magnum Johnson has jumped ship after SWF offered the virtually unknown worker $1000 per appearance
  • We're making money hand over fist now, but I still don't want to pay $1k a show for enhancement talent
  • Kenzo Isozaki has seen his first real challenger in Luis Montero, with whom the matches are expected to be awesome
  • Terry Lambert is still doing so many steroids that he now bleeds pure manliness.

After winning number one contendership, Terry Lambert and Marcus McKing spent the month leading up to the Steel City Supercard (APWF's biggest event) "feuding"... and by "feuding", I mean partying together and lording over the rest of APWF about how awesome they were. By most reports, good times were had by all... they all won easy squash matches, and spent time backstage doing (as already stated) partying.

Then, we reach the Steel City Supercard itself... McKing has been assured that should any member of The Crew win the 16 man tournament, it meant he'd get to keep his belt and that the main event would be a "finger poke of doom" level sham at best.

Then, after wishing his opponent good luck in their "match" tonight...

The masked Mystery Assailant viciously and brutally attacked Marcus McKing.

Come "match" time, he informed Terry Lambert of what had happened, and that a masked man had attempted to injure him too severly to even "defend" his title.

Terry Lambert told him he already knew. After all... he gave the order.

Stunned, McKing could initially do little to stop his closest ally and best friend for the last several years from savagely attacking him, starting a legitimate match. With McKing already badly beaten, the match turned into more of Terry Lambert wailing on McKing.

Your winner, and new APWF Heavyweight champion... "Tough" Terry Lambert!

I just started 2015 as EWA and will probably hit cult by the end of the year if the wrestling industry turns around soon (sitting about E+ and falling now!). My top guys are Joss Thompson (B- over in Central Europe), Joey Beauchamp (C+) and Louis Figo Manico (nearing 50 years old, but still main eventing most shows!). I had Marat Khoklov for 3 months - he signed a short-term deal and then apparently rethought working in Europe. I'm trying to build Adam Matravers, Landon Mallory, and Sebastian Koller to the levels of Joss, Joey, and Louis, but am struggling to get them to constantly churn out C+/B- matches with one another. Fortunately, Landon has great chemistry against Joey Beauchamp, so that should help him. The only other chemistry of note is that Joey and Joss have poor chemistry. Fortunately both of them are primarily heels.

I've had success pushing hosses like War Machine, Grave Digger, and Beast Bantom, but none are able to pump out matches in the C range, so their pushes have stalled in the upper midcard, though their menace angles help my shows immensely. I usually get C rated shows, but have scored a couple of C+ shows. My highest segment ever was last show, when Joss Thompson scored a B+ entertainment-based angle to end my biggest show of the year.

A couple of developing prospects are Ricky Storm and Leigh Burton (my current tag champs) and Michael Gregory. But the talent pool is pretty barren in Europe and, without large promotions and training programs, does not develop especially well.

I'm spending this year rebuilding the roster.

got rid of the dead wood, including most of the women in WWE who don't have many friends and have no in ring skills.

With the Women ive brough in alot of women with in ring ability, the useual suspects.

Rebuilding the tag team division with young tag teams. I've split up Big show and Miz

Brang in Motor city machine guns and the briscoe brother

Still got the Hart Dynasty there too. I've kept MVP and henry together as the expericed team that can give the younger teams asolid win.

Same with Legacy, they are kinda semi active tag team, mainly in single but a few times a month they tag together to put on solid matches with the younger tag teams.

MCMG are currently getting over with the fans and there momentum is getting good and they're the Tga team Champs, so currently giving them a solid run with the title to establish themselves.

planning on a rivalry between MCMG and Legacy to firmly get MCMG's over.

also planning on MVP and henry and Hart Dynasty to have a rivalry to get the HD over and the start of a momentum boost.

................

I've introduced a few new titles to keep people busy in the mid card and to make the PPV cards seem better.

Giving Taker a world title run at the moment. same with Triple H.

I brought in Brock Lesnar with Jim Cornette as manager and put the NWA world title on him ( that i bought as it was available and had alot of history) The NWA title has been set as Main event title that can appear for both brands and roster.

..........................

I'm also currently building up Bryan danielson's momentum and overness with the fans, which has gone very well. has gone from lower mid carder to Upper midcarder in a short time. I started him off with the indy Title (a new midcard title I created) give him a lot of defences and seemed to have worked.

planning on giving him a run with a higher presige title for a while before I start pushing him for the world titles

I've started this SWF a while ago, but just recently picked it up again, I'm in May 2010, Global, Bruce is still my champ and am now heading towards Welcome to the Jungle (I switched the dates of some of the PPVs) where the 30 man Rumble in the Jungle will determine who will get a world title shot at the Supreme Challenge (original eh? ;))

The world champ Jack Bruce (he beat Eisen at Awesome Impact) has been involved in a huge rivalry with Marat Kholov that will culminate with a Last Man Standing Match.

The other major feud that will probably last until the Supreme Challange is Rich Money vs Eric Eisen. Money challenged Eisen in January for the gold, if he lost he could never have another match with him until he was champ, so Money had to endure two months of taunting until Jack Bruce dethroned The Supremacist. Money now is looking for revenge with the help of an old friend (Remo, who I turned face with much success) against Eisen and his allies: The Keiths (whose overness keeps increasing, so much that I had to make them champs) and Runaway Train.

Other than that, I'm planning on introducing SWF Uprising, a show pretty similar to NXT, the winner gets a championship match at a PPV of their choice, but with a difference: the eight rookies all have a chance at getting a contract at the end of the season in a special edition where the veterans assess their rookies progress and decide if they deserve a contract or not, the winner is then announced (the Supreme Universe gets to "pick" the winner by "voting") and automatically receives a contract and of course the prize, the other rookies either receive a contract if their veteran thinks he deserves it, the rookies that don't get a contract can challenge their veteran to a match, if they win, they get a contract. This way I can introduce some fresh new talent in preparation for a brand split to happen sometime next year.

Here are my current pairings, along with some remarks about their probably interactions:

Johnny Heizenger(Ant-Man) - Runaway Train (Both are heels, Train makes life rough for Heizenger at first but when he wins a bodyslam challenge and then hits the Ant-Press on Train, they start working together, will probably get a contract because I think Anty is awesome)

Davey Wayne (DWN) - Christian Faith - DWN will act as a self centered manipulating heel, clashing with the legend that is Faith, he'll try to manipulate (sucessfully) the Ironman into getting a contract without having to step in the ring with the 5 time champ

Leon Brody (Giant Brody) - Big Smack Scott w/ Kurt Laramee - Brody will initially be just a loveable and gentle giant, constantly taunted by BS Scott and Laramee, until he snaps and delivers planchas and cross bodies to everyone in the vicinity and Pain Alliance realises that he can be a valuable asset to them

Hugh De Aske - Angry Gilmore - A witty and fun loving pirate paired up with a heel Angry Gilmore will probably spell disaster, with Gilmore determined to stop De Aske from ever getting a contract in the SWF

Lass Makutsi - Rich Money - A standard face -face pairing, to very focused individuals, Money will prove to be the fairest and yet most demanding veteran, as he pushes Makutsi to the limit, but eventually Makutsi gains Money's respect

Primus Allen - Frederique Antonio Garcia - FAG's personality contrasts with Allen's as the rookie is a very focused and menacing individual that doesn't take his veteran seriously, very awkward and borderline erotic moments ensue...

Remmy Skye - Squeeky McClean - Skye as a typical laid back face and McClean as the obnoxious self centered heel, if Skye manages to pick up some Psychology from being in the same ring as McClean, he may be the winner of this thing...

Swoop McCarthy - Brandon James - The other likely candidato to win Uprising, Swoop gets paired with Brandon James and his manager Emma Chase, who is very demanding when it comes to her clients (she currently manages James and the extremely awesome Acid).

This game has been very interesting so far and I'm hoping to make it last. Any thoughts on the Uprising deal? The pairings? Any suggestions?

Interesting that others also use Ricky and Leigh together. They have excellent tag chemistry for me, so that made the pairing a no-brainer. Ricky and Leigh are the British Invasion in my game, a pretty standard-fare 'evil foreigner' type gimmick team. I like the mod/punk idea though...

Dwayne Dark just plain sucks. Low entertainment, star quality, and wrestling abilities. AND he looks like Seal. Lose-lose. I've found many of the National School of Wrestling grads to be quite useful - at least for short-term runs.
