Imarevenant
I have no choice but to watch them each and every week because they are the local team. They just seem to be playing good but not great. Yes they win but they seem to be missing something. Like the game against the Chargers. There is no way the Chargers should have been allowed to make that a game and yet they did. To me they seem like a team that is going to tear through the regular season and then come playoff time they will be eliminated. They feel to me like the first couple Pats teams that won the superbowl. They never really blew anyone away, but they played well on Offense had bend don't break defenses and just outperformed in the 4th and in close games when it mattered most. Sure they don't win by 3 TD's like the 16-0 team but they are just a damn good team that does all the little things to win.
lazorbeak
So are the Chiefs really going to win the AFC West? It's looking more and more possible. The Raiders are even in the conversation. I still like San Diego's defense and QB over those clubs, but Norv Turner is just not a very good coach, especially in the Fall.

I still believe we win that division. We have the best team by a stretch. Rivers is playing lights out football. Just need to eliminate the mental mistakes/shore up STs. Slagaholic
The best team doesn't always win the division. Especially when that team's competition got off to a much better start and has a far easier schedule ahead of them. The hardest game the Chiefs have left is @SD. The hardest games the Chargers have left is @Indy, @Cinci and @Houston.
Wallbanger
Brad Childress is so bad I want my team to lose just so he gets fired. I did not think it possible that anyone could suck more as the Vikings' coach than Denny Green. I was wrong.
borman_48
I did not think it possible that anyone could suck more as the Vikings' coach than Denny Green. I was wrong. I liked Denny. And I like Chilly. Of course, I'm a Packers fan. All that aside, I can't believe that the Vikings trade for Randy Moss, then cut him 2 weeks later. That is quite possibly one of the most absurd things I've seen in a long time. That team is going to have so many issues in the near future, I almost feel bad for them. Slagaholic
<p>There was absolutely no intent to hit helmet to helmet. Collie got knocked into Coleman's helmet. So Coleman was committing unnecessary roughness just for being there? Ridiculous. (Not you, the call) BTW did you used to post on jsjh by any chance? And not only that, Collie already had his head down when the first guy tackled him. If anybody was leading with his helmet and should be fined over that hit, it was Collie. If Collie hadn't already been getting wrapped up by the time Coleman got there, one could make the case he was trying to take out Coleman with his head and paid the price for it. Will be pure absurdity if Coleman gets fined. The receiver put himself in harm's way. Plain and simple.
