The Return Of Terry Thunder [ThunderVerse]

<p>Another solid show and week of TCW. I can't help but like Jarid Hart's gimmick. Nothing like selling yourself during the main event. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'm also interested to see how you use East Coast Uncensored, since they stuck out like a sore thumb somewhat in your roster post.</p>

Jarid Hart is indeed a fun person to book, although it's a fine line between heel and lovable rogue with a character like this.</p><p> </p><p> East Coast Uncensored are largely there to be something different, but they have their moments too (although with a 1 hour show, they don't come around very often!).</p><p> </p><p> In other developments, show number 18 (!) has been written, show 19 and 20 (and most of 25) have been pre-booked. MJStark has kindly provided some superb title belts for TCW as well, two of which will be revealed at Flashpoint. There will be a couple of Chatterbox posts covering a fairly big (and ultimately decisive) in-game event that happened after the show just gone and then I'll put up the prediction card. I'll probably leave that until tomorrow to give people the chance to catch up first.</p><p> </p><p> Interestingly, as I type this the diary currently sitting below Return Of Terry Thunder has 1998 replies (ECW Worldwide for anyone reading this later). While I'm unlikely to reach that level of longevity (or indeed be mentioned in the same sentence again!), I feel very confident that this diary (and save) will have the legs to continue much further than any diary I have written before. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

THE RETURN OF TERRY THUNDER [THUNDERVERSE]
A TEW2013 DIARY

Yep. Silverback was injured during the last show's dark match. Earlier I mentioned that the odd timetabling of Breakthrough would throw up in-game problems, and this was one of them. Silverback was injured for six days. That means if I booked Breakthrough every Monday, he would be fit for the main event. However, Breakthrough is on a Monday-Tuesday, week off, Monday-Tuesday, week off schedule. I could easily have worked around it in order to get Silverback in the match, but I actually like having to change my plans...at least every so often!

Thanks as always for the predictions everyone! It's great to see the same faces predicting for each show - at least no one has been run off so far! :D

Seemed to be a fairly straightforward week with several perfect scores (including yet another for Sebsplex!) and a handful of 2/3s. Here are the scores after three shows...

1st Place (100%)

Sebsplex

2nd Place (88.9%)

Emark

3rd Place (77.8%)

Tiberious4

20LEgend

MichiganHero

MJStark

TheEnforcer

Andy Kobain

kanegan

Zergon

4th Place (66.7%)

Midnightnick

Psycho Sam

CageRage

angeldelayette

A strong showing from anyone when it comes to Flashpoint could take them to the top, assuming Sebsplex drops a few points along the way, of course! :D

THE RETURN OF TERRY THUNDER [THUNDERVERSE]

A TEW2013 DIARY

http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/TCWWebsite.jpg

TCW BREAKTHROUGH EPISODE FOUR TO REVEAL SECOND WORLD TITLE CHALLENGER!

ARTICLE POSTED MARCH 20 2013

Episode four of TCW Breakthrough once again comes from Engine City in Virginia. With "God Of War" Ares already announced as one-half of the headline match of Flashpoint, Tanner Ellis and Silverback were due to fight for the opportunity to face him for the chance to become inaugural TCW World champion. However, with Silverback suffering a knee injury before episode three, TCW President Terry Thunder has had to make a last-minute replacement. That replacement is none other than Jarid Hart, who will take Silverback's place in the episode four main event. Also in action on the show will be Titan Lynn who faces Cedric Blake, while Too Famous will also be in action. With Flashpoint just days away, expect Breakthrough to be filled with more twists and turns than ever!

Dude, Special FX won't agree to any matches he knows he will lose. He's a freakin' robot from the freakin' future, of course he wins!

Titan Lynn vs Cedric Blake

Token face win.

He wasn't trained to wrestle. He wasn't born to wrestle. He was built to wrestle... (this catchphrase comes courtesy of the 2080s)

Big fan of this pairing

Titan Lynn vs Cedric Blake

Maybe if he were Titanbot.

Jarid Hart was going to be in the title match prior to Silverback's injury and subsequent booking changes, and I suspect that isn't going to change here.

Actually, it is Tanner Ellis who was set to face Silverback, not Hart (i.e. Hart is the replacement). Not sure if that makes any difference to your selection.

<p>I insists, this diary is perfect, cheers to you, jhd1!</p><p> </p><p>

The whole idea of changing things already planned seems perfect and more 'realistic'. So im glad that you didn't change the schedule only to book Silverback.</p><p> </p><p>

Jarid Hart seems a perfect replacement, in fact, I can imagine Hart cutting a promo about it. Something like 'the whole Silverback's injury was fake, and the management saw that I am Mr. Rating (like he showed us on the last episode that he equals ratings) and bla bla bla...'</p><p> </p><p>

<em>I can see Lynn as a Goldberg (because of his football background), obviously without the 'push', but in terms of physically.</em></p><p> </p><p>

I know which team I prefer, but I see Too Famous getting (or dancing their way to) the win.</p><p> </p><p>

You seem to have a former football star void now near the upper reaches of the card now, plus I see Adonis getting involved here to cost Blake.</p><p> </p><p>

Ellis is really a support player in your main event and that's his lot in TCW I suspect. Hart needs to advance purely to save the show... won't SOMEBODY think about the ratings!?!? <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
