Big Roguey
Thanks for all the comments so far, I certainly didn't expect such a following! Formatting will be done soon, so the show will definitely be up tomorrow evening. Almost certainly. By the nature of the app it isn't going to get as much use, but I do have a couple of ideas how to work it in to the show somehow. I have a few ideas for it myself but I agree, it isn't going to be used as much. I look forward to seeing how you use it.
Zergon
Los Boricuas (Alvaro Buey III & Alex Vidal) vs Too Famous (Brian King & Famous C) I will go with guys higher on the card until I get better feel about where everyone stands so Los Boricuas get my vote here. "The Model" Caleb Adonis vs "Big Bad From Trinidad" Omar Xavian Coin flip for me so I just did go with the guy who´s alt I like better. Silverback vs Ares vs Tanner Ellis vs Zeke King All four are main eventers so guess it´s another coin flip. I go with Ares simply because I remember him from other ThunderVerse diary while all other guys are unknown to me (or at least I don´t remember seeing them ). jhd1
THE RETURN OF TERRY THUNDER [THUNDERVERSE] A TEW2013 DIARY TCW BREAKTHROUGH EPISODE #1 FILMED AT THE ASYLUM IN PHILADELPHIA, PA - MONDAY 1 MARCH 2013 AIRED MONDAY MARCH 1 2013 ON NATIONAL PRIDE TV (0.03) ANNOUNCE TEAM: ACE LOMAX & JESSICA THUNDER (TEMPORARY) http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/TerryThunder.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/JessicaThunder.jpg TERRY THUNDER - JESSICA THUNDER The very first Thunder Championship Wrestling show began with Terry Thunder and Jessica Thunder inside the squared circle. Thanking the fans for coming to the Philadelphia Asylum, and thanking the fans at home, Thunder said that his dream to turn professional wrestling on its head was under way. As the President of TCW, Thunder revealed he'd do his best to make sure that the finest talent, the finest writers and the finest wrestling went out each and every week. Terry then revealed that his daughter Jessica would act as the company's General Manager, solving the day-to-day disputes among wrestlers as well as having full control over the company's Cruiserweight division. Just as Jessica was about to speak she was interrupted by Indian wrestler Tiger Singh! http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/TigerSingh.jpg TIGER SINGH Singh told the audience that they were witnessing nepotism at its finest – a company named after its founder and run by his daughter. Singh claimed he had no problem with nepotism, but thought perhaps someone with a little more brains would be better suited to the role as General Manager. Jessica said that her main remit was the Cruiserweight division, but with her father's permission, she was ready to book her first match as GM. That match would be on next week's show and would feature Singh against “Easy Rider” Tanner Ellis! Buey's power and Vidal's speed seemed to be a perfect fit, and the duo did a great job against their opponents, who seemed more interested in dancing between suplexes than trying to win the match. RESULT: Los Boricuas win in 6:34! Vickie, an Englishwoman herself, went through the stable introducing “Prince” Paul Crowley, a tough fighter from Wigan, James Danielson, a technically superb wrestler from London and Thomas Beaumont, a fantastic all-rounder from Oxford. Claiming that the Lions would become one of wrestling's greatest trios, Vickie revealed that Paul Crowley would get the first opportunity to prove it in his match next week against “Hearthrob” Antonio Estes! E- http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/CalebAdonis.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/VS.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/OmarXavian.jpg "The Model" Caleb Adonis w/Miss Kelly vs "Big Bad From Trinidad" Omar Xavian Caleb Adonis and Omar Xavian were up next, and while Xavian was clearly the fan favourite, the unbridled arrogance of Adonis would have turned almost any opponent into a face simply by association. Coming to the ring with the glamorous, but equally aloof Miss Kelly, Adonis had the fans riled up before the match had even begun. Kelly carried with her a bag of powder and it was that unlikely weapon that decided the match. With Kelly distracting Referee Aaron Gumble by climbing onto the apron, Adonis was able to reach for a handful of powder and throw it into the eyes of Trinidadian opponent. The following pinfall was nothing but a formality. RESULT: Caleb Adonis wins in 8:59! E http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/Talon.jpghttp://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/ErinScott.jpg TALON - ERIN SCOTT The second backstage segment, conducted in front of a large TCW banner, introduced two new faces to most wrestling fans – Erin Scott and Talon. Interviewer Scott asked Talon, another up-and-coming Puerto Rican youngster, what brought him to Thunder Championship Wrestling and the answer, as most fans would expect, was the chance to work with Terry Thunder. Talon went on to explain that now he is in TCW he fully intends to make the most of the opportunity to become one of the biggest names in professional wrestling. The action was a little frenetic, with some fans at ringside struggling to keep up with the various in-ring feuds developing. The main sign of hostility appeared between Ares and Silverback, particularly after Silverback threw the “God Of War” over the top rope to the outside. In the end Silverback made history by winning the company's first ever main event after a Towerhacker Bomb on Zeke King secured the victory. RESULT: Silverback wins in 10:01! D http://i754.photobucket.com/albums/xx181/jhdTEW/TCW%20Diary/Cards/JaridHart.jpg JARID HART Anyone who expected the night to end there was in for a "treat" as “The Black Hart” Jarid Hart strutted out to ringside. Ignoring the four men heading to the back, Hart simply grinned at the audience and grabbed for a microphone. Hart said that he didn't really have anything to say, but he felt that it was his duty as a member of the Thunder Championship Wrestling elite to come out and save the programme from mediocrity. Likening himself to a Terry Thunder – “if Thunder could actually wrestle” - Jarid said that his mere presence on the show would bump the ratings significantly. As the fans booed the Englishman, Hart laughed it off and told fans to tune in next week when he would actually get to wrestle! Psycho Sam
Great show. One question, if your company pop or performance based? These grades, to me, seem a little bit harsh.
Kamchatka
It may be an overused comment, but I'll definitely be watching this dynasty. Great graphics (love the logo and the social media frames) and quick easy to follow storylines and matches. I agree with Psycho Sam, a few more of those grades on TV and you might find things cut awfully short.
jhd1
Great show. One question, if your company pop or performance based? These grades, to me, seem a little bit harsh. Thanks Sam. Pop based, so the grades are pretty much what I expected given the roster's popularity. Fortunately I have enough people who can pull a decent angle grade that the matches don't matter too much for now. It may be an overused comment, but I'll definitely be watching this dynasty. Great graphics (love the logo and the social media frames) and quick easy to follow storylines and matches. I agree with Psycho Sam, a few more of those grades on TV and you might find things cut awfully short. Glad to have you onboard Kam! As mentioned in post 2 I start out at regional (D- across the US), so two months in I have had nothing but growth so far.

jhd1
Thanks for the predictions everyone - it wasn't the most difficult show to predict, but the main event managed to throw almost everyone. Sebsplex was the only person to get 100% correct, although TheEnforcer also predicted Silverback would win the main event. The prize is yet to be decided, but the prediction contest will run for five shows (one month's worth) and will be run on a percentage basis. Winners must have predicted at least two TV shows and the event (i.e. more than half of the available), otherwise we run the risk of everyone getting 100% on the first show and disappearing! Bit pointless, but there is the table as it stands... 1st Place (100%) Sebsplex 2nd Place (66.7%) Tiberious4 20LEgend Midnightnick Emark Psycho Sam CageRage MichiganHero MJStark TheEnforcer Andy Kobain kanegan Zergon Brian Jack should open his own promotion if he feels this strongly about TCW. The second episode, set to air on Monday March 8 2013 will further the exciting storylines started in episode one in addition to providing an introduction to further members of the hottest wrestling roster on the current scene. Tiger Sing vs "Easy Rider" Tanner Ellis I don't know if Tiger's surname is misspelled or the birth of the world's best half tiger/half opera singer gimmick. ¬_¬ Jarid Hart & Caleb Adonis vs Cedric Blake & Omar Xavian Because Jarid Hart is just too amazing not to win. Zergon
"Heartthrob" Antonio Estes vs "Prince" Paul Crowley I ahve always liked Crowley for some reason but I still have to go with Estes here simply because he´s higher on the pecking order. Tiger Singh vs "Easy Rider" Tanner Ellis With Singh appearing in same segment than both Thunder´s I have to believe that he is getting a push. Then again this is still midcarder versus main eventer so I guess that Singh will still lose this one espesially since Ellis already has one loss and thus can ill afford second one against a guy who is way lower on the ladders Jarid Hart & Caleb Adonis vs Cedric Blake & Omar Xavian Hart is the only main eventer here and his promo on the first show was second best segment in whole show so I figure that he goes over here. sebsplex
Enjoyed the first show, especially Hart crashing the event just to 'save it' and don't think I don't see your love for Silverback "Heartthrob" Antonio Estes vs "Prince" Paul Crowley Estes has potential, but Crowley a more solid hand and I predict The British Lions to start with some momentum off the bat. Tiger Singh vs "Easy Rider" Tanner Ellis It seems clear that Singh is getting the spotlight and a push of sorts, but Jess Thunder booked this to make an example out of him and I suspect she will. Jarid Hart & Caleb Adonis vs Cedric Blake & Omar Xavian Adonis is on a roll and it would possibly torpedo Hart's whole 'thing' if he flopped in his first main event - although he could plausibly lose and blame it on Adonis, but I'm not going with that. Tiberious
Have you considered teaming up Special FX and Ion? the Future is Now! "Heartthrob" Antonio Estes vs "Prince" Paul Crowley Crowley is a good worker and deserves a push. He's probably not ever going to headline in a pop based promotion, but he could be a really solid asset. Tiger Sing vs "Easy Rider" Tanner Ellis I've got a feeling Tiger Singh will be one of your top guys before too long, but he's not quite ready to be beating guys like Tanner Ellis. Jarid Hart & Caleb Adonis vs Cedric Blake & Omar Xavian The arrogant heels reign supreme here.
Andy_Kobain
I really like the first show, it was simple (please, don't misunderstand this) but effective. You have to push Tiger Singh to the man, the man interrupted the owner of the company on the first show! "Heartthrob" Antonio Estes vs "Prince" Paul Crowley A very good start for a possible push for the British Lions as the most dominant stable of the company Tiger Singh vs "Easy Rider" Tanner Ellis C'mon, he interrupted Terry and Jessica Thunder!! Massive push for this guy Jarid Hart & Caleb Adonis vs Cedric Blake & Omar Xavian Jarid Hart is THE heel of this company, he cant lose on his first match. PS: As always, sorry for my bad english. I know it sucks, but well, thats just the way it is.
