What's going on in your game?

You released Shawn?? Nuuuu. And Trips as well? Do you wanna lose the war? :D Your lucky WCW is apparently being as well run as in real life. :D

A lot of the new features can make an unhappy negative personality a nightmare to deal with. Pretty much impossible. And HBK is about as negative as it comes in the MA mod, so yeah, it may become necessary.

I like that there is a lot more to deal backstage, but maybe it's an exaggeration? So many features that give us hard time dealing with wrestler and no benefit. Like i said, i love a more interactive backstage and game world, but 16 seems to make it as firing people is the easy way out. Not just for this post, but others similar i've seen.</p>

<p>Simming a COTT mod and a few odd things happened.</p><p> </p><p>

The WWF have signed the Ultimate Warrior and put him as the figurehead over Bret Hart.</p><p> </p><p>

Yokozuna recaptured the WWF world title from Bret Hart.</p><p> </p><p>

Overall things are about as "normal" as they can be in the WWF. I can't say the same for WCW as things have really gotten bizarre.</p><p> </p><p>

Terry Funk is the reigning World Champion, having defeated Hulk Hogan at Starrcade '94 and is still going strong (July 1995). WCW just held the Bash at the Beach which headlining was Terry Funk defending the world title against Jim Duggan.</p><p> </p><p>

The Giant has debuted and is enhancement talent.</p><p> </p><p>

They went on a hiring spree of complete unknown talent and features them on a regular basis.</p><p> </p><p>

Meng is the US champion and HHH is the TV champion. Normally this wouldn't be bad, but when they're defending the title against guys like "The Crypt Keeper" and Skip Young, it's quite anti-climatic.</p><p> </p><p>

Dusty Rhodes is the booker and they've just fallen to Cult.</p><p> </p><p>

The last one that is a complete bummer, is like I said it's July 1995 and Brian Pillman has died. This was not a heart attack, but rather falling into a vat of liquid nitrogen and shattering into tiny frozen pieces. Normally I'd be entertained, but seeing as how this is so close to when he died in real life, it's just sad. I was hoping he'd have a full career in this game.</p>

<p>That nice moment to earn some bonus points. Animal damaged the boss car and refused to pay. Now it is up to me to make him pay. The future is not looking so good for Animal after Hawk left. If my approval rating goes up again then it might be time for me to bring it back down so I can sign Rey Mysterio Jr. No luchadors allowed. * Fine. Animal now has simmering tension with me. Vince is pleased*</p><p> </p><p>

Next up is Saturday Night Main Event 5. October</p><p> </p><p>

For once, I have my Junior heavyweight guys popular enough to get decent ratings because they have all been pushed already, except for Malenko, he is pretty new. 8 men to start. the 4 winners go on to fatal four way. They are Owen Hart, Brian Pillman ( the bookies favorite), Dean Malenko and Chris Jericho. Jericho is the only face in this match and he still has a thing going with Ted. </p><p> </p><p>

The third Ted Dibiase invitational is happening. Some might say this is the best chance Tito Santana will ever since it is a head to head tournament. His record is good, allegedly. </p><p> </p><p>

Survivor Series key matches</p><p> </p><p>

Team Flair (Flair, Pillman, Austin and Perfect) vs Team Piper (Piper, Bret Hart, Bulldog and Jim Neidhart) I hear that Jim Neidhart might be the victim of an unfortunate attack during the build up. The question is, who will replace him?</p><p> </p><p>

Randy Savage vs Jake Roberts is the hottest thing in wrestling at the minute. WWF title on the line. </p><p> </p><p>

The Undertaker vs The Warrior in a casket match. Hulk Hogan will make his return here and help Warrior. Taker beat Hogan at Summerslam. Going to turn Undertaker face after this. Not yours!!!!!! </p><p> </p><p>

I'm considering Heel Hogan some time in 1992. </p><p> </p><p>

Really into this game at the minute. I'm glad I tried a game with Vince as boss. He hasn't been too much of a Richard and I can't say I've been hurt by the money of WCW. Of course, Hogan/Savage contract isn't expiring yet. We shall see what happens...</p><p> </p><p>

Instead of another post I will follow up on Saturday night main event. </p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho won the junior heavyweight title. I just thought with the effort I've put into him. I've been made him stand out, he had to win here. The ending set some things in motion. Virgil, the village idiot, he interfered in the match and went for Jericho, but he nailed Pillman with the million dollar title. Jericho then pinned Malenko. </p><p> </p><p>

Bobby Heenan says after the match about people sticking their nose where it doesn't belong</p><p> </p><p>

Pillman is in the current Heenan family, along with Perfect and Austin. A couple of segments after the junior heavyweight title match, I decided to rip off season two of the sopranos. Brian Pillman is now Richie Aprile. Pillman turns up at the poker game and he brings a bad attitude with him. He attacks the dealer. Ted Dibiase understands that he will have to use his influence to make this right. Pillman looks around the room and then leaves. He is not a loose cannon. Just an angry mofo that got screwed by Virgil. </p><p> </p><p>

Bobby Heenan and Dibiase will have off the camera talk. Dibiase can't be seen to look weak in public. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

I'm thinking Jericho vs Pillman 1v1 at the Saturday Night Main event in December, but I'm not sure. I might use the influence to get the Hollywood Blonds a tag team title shot.</p><p> </p><p>

Recent signings to boost the babyface ranks</p><p> </p><p>

Al Snow (crazy gimmick) </p><p>

The Batten Twins </p><p>

''Golden Glove'' Marc Mero. He injured Warlord on his debut.</p>

Just booked December 2016 on my WWE save using Fleisch's June 2016 data. Gone with a new style booking this month (Plan a month's worth of Raw at once, auto-book Smackdown) and it takes me roughly 20/25 minutes to book each one.

The first Raw of December seen Samoa Joe make his RAW debut, quickly squashing a local jobber. Bulletproof BC members, and Tag Team Champions Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson personally asked Daniel Bryan for some mic time, Bryan gifted it to them, and Machine Gun announced that him and Gallows were vacating the Tag Team Championships, because they felt the belts were beneath them, and they felt the belts weren't worthy of being held by the 'Best Tag Team in WWE History.' Meanwhile in the World Title picture, off the back of two successful defences against KO, Seth Rollins was feeling confident in retaining the WWE title. Rusev demanded a match, meanwhile Cena and AJ Styles also wanted a match. Bryan booked a Triple Threat for next weeks Raw, with the winner facing Seth Rollins at the Armageddon PPV.

Before that match though, came the WWE Queen of the Ring Qualifiers, which were held over two days. Alexa Bliss made her debut during the qualifiers, defeating a local talent. Meanwhile, Bayley easily qualified, along with Dana Brooke, Becky Lynch, Lana, Mickie James, Emma and Summer Rae.

The next episode of Raw gave the Women a break however, as Tyson Kidd made his long awaited return, 18 months in the making in a dark match, defeating NXT Talent Cody Hall. Joe dominated another local talent, while Daniel Bryan announces a triple threat Tag Team match at Armageddon, as Enzo and Cass face the Vaudvillains and a mystery team. Meanwhile, Bayley was granted a match against Sasha Banks at Armageddon for the title, after defeating the rest of the BFFs in recent months. Kevin Owens threatened to ruin the show if Bryan didn't put him in the Main Event, Bryan called his bluff but it didn't pay off, as Owens ran in during the last three matches of the show, laying out all of the competitors with chairs. Rusev crawled over Cena for the pinfall, while next weeks Main Event was announced, if Owens beat Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn, then he'll get added to the world title match.

The Queen of the Ring 2016 tournament was next however, taking place at Full Sail University, Emma ran out the unlikely winner, with upset victories over Natalya and Mickie James, before upsetting Becky Lynch in the final, and earning a shot at WWE Womens TV Champion Paige at the Armageddon PPV. Ratings wise, the show flopped, drawing just a 50 (D+) rating, ultimately, it paid off establishing Alexa Bliss, Dana Brooke, but most impressively Emma as true competitors in the Womens Division. (This was done with the use of Prestige (Low Prestige for Qualifiers, Medium for QF's etc.)

Full Queen of the Ring 2016 Rankings:

We returned to Raw, as a couple of contract signings were held, but most importantly, the Main Event. Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn went to a Double Count Out, due to both men killing each other in one way or another. Bryan came out post-show and declared he didn't know what he was going to do, but a solution would be announced first thing next week.

Daniel Bryan came out on the Go-home show, and announced that sadly he had no idea how to solve this predicament. Seth Rollins claimed he is a fighting champion, and he will face all 4 of them if he needs to. Daniel Bryan booked a 5 way, before IC Champion Sami Zayn made his way to the ring. He pointed out that he has pinned Owens clean in the ring to win the IC title, and since he has no opponent for the IC title, he deserves to be added to the match. Bryan agreed with Bryan. As he was leaving the ring, he asked if anyone knew the main event of Armageddon 2000, Sami answered a 6-man Hell in a Cell, and Bryan said he was right, and it was the stipulation for the match. Imagine a massive pop. The three faces in the match (Cena, Sami and Rollins) faced the heels (Styles, Rusev and Owens) in the main event of the go home show.

Fast forward to the PPV, Samoa Joe remained Undefeated, defeating Darren Young, Crews went over Jericho, Emma won the Womens TV title from Paige in my highest rated Womens match, earning at 69 rating, Reigns defended his US title against Sheamus, Tyson Kidd made his return, teaming up with Cesaro to win the tag titles vs The Vaudvillains and Enzo and Cass, while Bayley won the Womens Title from Sasha, only for Daniel Bryan to sorrowfully order the match to be restarted due to Sasha's leg being under the rope. Sasha ended up retaining. Dusty Finishes ftw.

The Main Event was something I've never experienced before. Drawing a 99 rating. Sami Zayn hit Rusev with a Helluva Kick to win the WWE Champion. I went with Sami due to him being incredibly over, and constantly holding the best shows on the card, as well as getting A's in nearly every angle. During the match, AJ Styles took a Crazy Bump, while Cena and Rollins took Stunt Bumps. A 99 rated match. Surreal. My best every rating. The only (-) was Cena's Morale, without that, I reckon I'd have a 100 rating.

Overall, the show drew a 90 rating. Tied with Summerslam, and WWE Takes Over: NJPW.

Here's the Main Event.

I didn't have much of a choice, Shawn was constantly trying to turn the locker room against Owen, so it was a choice between the two of them. Owen isn't a douche so..

Then HHH got very angry and quit

<p>Been plugging away some more NYCW. Might do a bigger update at some point when I'm not playing or working on my mod...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

But there is one big thing of note worth sharing:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Man Mountain Cahill is now 48 years old.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

...</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

And he's still not in time decline.</p>

I also released Shawn and Trips in my game. Actually I didn't so much release Trips as I just let his contract lapse.

After Shawn turned almost my entire locker room against Bret I tested him for drugs. He popped, I sent to rehab for 9 months. He came back, (hard) drug free and seemingly chill enough that he wasn't going to go up to his same old shenanigans. I float a 6 month deal across his nose, figuring that if he makes rifts one more time I can deal with it, cut him and neither lose too much money or locker room harmony on the deal.

Plus I figure that WCW will just sign him to some ridiculous deal anyway.

But here's the thing: I got two e-mails on the same day. "WCW has made an offer to Shawn" followed by "WCW has ended negotiations with Shawn." I'm actually not sure what happened there. I have 3 theories.

1) Most Plausible: I'm National, almost at International. WCW is at Cult/Almost National. Shawn might have shot down negotiations on account of WCW being too small for him.

2)Possible, but unlikely: The opening bid for Shawn was so big that somebody on WCW's side invoked wage matching, which caused them to get cold feet.

3)Probably didn't happen: Somebody used a hiring veto to block negotiations with Shawn. Unlikely, since he doesn't have any enemies in WCW.

After a month under the new deal, Shawn causes rifts. I job him to The Great Muta and cut him. 2 months later Shawn is the best overall unemployed wrestler in the world.

HHH has also been unemployed since his contract lapsed 7 months prior.

<p>I think I'm gonna take a break from the Montreal Aftermath and jump back into playing a modern scenario. Jump to August 2016, and make up a personal Fantasy Draft of my own to shake things up a little.</p><p> </p><p>

* Raw and SmackDown, like real-life</p><p>

* Three NXT drafts per brand (so six like in real-life)</p><p>

* Two to three surprise former WWE employees per brand</p><p>

* Two to three fictional characters per brand (import from 9000-verse or Cornellverse, IDK)</p>

<p>A update on my 1987 WWF Game into May lading up to the Tag Team Classic Cup. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Building up my Tag Division with Team Like Rockers (feuding with Harts) Road Warriors (Tag Champions) and brought in The Freebirds, The fantastics, Ultimo Liger, The Malenko Brothers, The Funks, Los Gringo Locos (Art Bar/ Eddie Guerrero), Hard Knocks (Johnny Saint/ Regal) ,Long Riders, TheMidnight Express, Tully/Arn, Tommy Rich/Austin Idol, Steiner Brothers, Von Erics ( Kevin and Kerry) Probably missing on a few other Teams Ive brought in. </p><p> </p><p>

They go alongside team like Harts foundation, Young Stallions, Demolition, Dream Team ( Valentine/ Beefcake) The Rougues ,Islanders, Killer Bees. </p><p> </p><p>

Most teams will be kept and perhaps a couple more added, eventually looking to introduce a US Tag Team Title as the World Tag Titles will be held at Main event level. </p><p> </p><p>

Introducing a US title to be a proper Midcard title. waiting for the right time to hold the trigger and thinking of who the correct first holder will be. Jim Duggen is currently getting killed off by Taker so I'm still thinking of who it can be... thinking of Honky Tonk Man, but also want a younger up and comer to feud with him for the title and eventually have the young guy go over... like a Pillman or a Liger or a Muta. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

The Plan still remains for the feud of Hogan/Piper/ Bulldog v Heenan Family ( Harley Race/ Bob Orton Jr/ King Kong Bundy to continue and Bulldog to Turn on Hogan /Piper, side with Heenan Family and Capture the WWF Heavyweight title. !! </p><p> </p><p>

The Youngest Champion in history, this Idea came together accidently as I was just having Bulldog treading water with no feud and in a couple months got over from Midcard to low Main event level !!! and when Piper stated his displeasure of a potential heel turn to take the title off Hogan I decided to push Bulldog as a heel . Bulldog will be going over some other Main event names and winning the KOTR to get him over enough for Hogan to not flip his shit over losing to him.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'm slightly annoyed at Piper, I wanted him to be the top heel for the next 4 or 5 years and get the top strap like he deserved but he was making a lot of money being a face through merch and felt he has a couple more years as face left. Piper will still get his title but it'll be a shorter run as I had planned and won't have a man reigns as I had hoped... they will go to Bulldog.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Guys getting pushed: </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Sting</p><p>

Vader</p><p>

Taker</p><p>

Liger</p><p>

Mutoh</p><p>

Razor Ramone</p><p>

Hennig </p><p>

Dibiase </p><p>

Takada</p><p> </p><p>

These will be replacing the aging guys at the top of the card like your Harley Races, Orndorffs, Bob Orton Jr's etc..</p><p> </p><p>

Warrior is in an odd position, I don't want him tagging with Sting and Sting is on track for a top card position. Warrior is midcard level but I seriously want him to improve before i spend time pushing him. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Considering hiring Sid to tag with Vader as the Wrecking Crew as part of an evolving Heenan Family to replace Harley and Bob Orton in a few months.</p><p> </p><p>

Road Warriors v Wrecking Crew</p><p>

Road Warriors v Tully/Arn </p><p>

Tully/Arn v Wrecking Crew </p><p> </p><p>

I can see those being big money Hoss Fights.</p><p> </p><p>

Add in Harts, Von Erics and Steiners and you have a great Tag Division.</p>

<p>^Awesome Tag team division. </p><p> </p><p>

Still in 1991 and just about to book Survivor Series, but I have most of my Wrestlemania 8 card in my mind. No double main event rubbish. Savage will be defending against Ric Flair in the last match. Flair wins the royal rumble. </p><p> </p><p>

Hulk Hogan ( his last match?) vs Steve Williams. The old Hogan royal rumble elimination joke. Williams eliminates Hogan and Hogan can't accept it. He makes sure that Williams is the next man eliminated. Let me tell you something Jack Cornette. </p><p> </p><p>

Bret Hart vs Mr. Perfect (IC title and a career ending match) The current score is 1-1-1. No more single matches between them until Wrestlemania. </p><p> </p><p>

I need to get a face team ready to feud with Hollywood Blonds. The Batten Twins might make a shock run towards title contention. If not then it it will be Terry Taylor and Jim Duggan.</p><p> </p><p>

The Undertaker vs Jake Roberts </p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Michaels vs Marty Jannetty</p><p> </p><p>

Chris Jericho vs Ted Dibiase ( Dibiase won their only single match at Summerslam. I smell a Virgil turn here. The abuse he has suffered in my game so far. So cruel, but he will have his Wrestlemania moment!!) </p><p> </p><p>

Dean Malenko vs Jushin Liger ( I never got to do this match in my previous game. I'm guessing that Malenko will be junior heavyweight champion at this point. I can do a talent trade with NJPW)</p><p> </p><p>

King Mountie vs ''Golden Glove'' Marc Mero in a boxing match. Why not?</p><p> </p><p>

The British Bulldog vs Owen Hart (2/3 falls) They have been feuding on and off for a lot of 1991.</p><p> </p><p>

No idea what to do with Warrior at the minute. I was considering Warrior to be the man to eliminate Hogan, but I don't want to do the match.</p>

Getting ready to host the 13th edition my biggest show of the year, Slam-a-mania and I've booked aging mega stars Nicky Champion and Jack Bruce on a collision course for the event. Jack is at an almost useless level of decline while Nicky surprisingly hasn't hit it at all yet. Both are around 100 popularity across the US and have never faced off before so I'm hoping that Nicky, overness and the Once in a lifetime note will carry this to an epic secondary mainevent. Looking for this to be the year Slam-a-mania gets a bump to Legendary so I'm literally throwing everything I've got into it, including, but not limited to, millions of dollars.

<p>I'm playing the Rising Storms 1991 mod. Randy Robinson is my Avatar, I'm the head booker for MEWF. The cupboard was bare when I first joined. The only member of the roster was the Owner Lucifer. I've done a great job garnering an impressive roster of current and future stars.</p><p> </p><p>

We began as a local promotion and a year and month later are a small promotion, edging closer to Regional. We've expanded the NWA after WCW left.</p><p> </p><p>

I renamed titles in WCW and CMLL. Giving the NWA the ability to have all their titles back. Currently there are over 15 members of the NWA. </p><p> </p><p>

I made myself the figurehead and have been MEWF Heavyweight champ for those 13 months. I've only lost 3 times. Twice in 6-man tags and once to Gran Hamada for his NWA International Openweight championship. A title I made by accident. I forgot to mark Tag when making new NWA World Tag Titles.</p><p> </p><p>

My worst show was my 1st, Kings of Spandex it got a C- rating.</p><p> </p><p>

My best show was my most recent, The Pillman Always Rings Twice. It got a B overall, with a main event of Randy Robinson V Jerry Lawler getting B+ match rating.</p><p> </p><p>

Without being too presumptuous , my promotion is a lot like PWG. We're small, but get attention of big stars and people leaving WWF and WCW. We consistently put on amazing shows for our size. Our crowd is crazy passionate at every show. And, we have amazing event names.</p><p> </p><p>

My current show was supposed to be Andre The Giant's return to action. No one has hired him due to his low stats and good popularity. I only need him for a match or 2 and a couple angles. </p><p> </p><p>

I even go so far as to name my current event after him, MEWF Giant Sized Annual #1. You know what he does? He shows up drunk and gets sent home.</p><p> </p><p>

I always try to theme my event names after stars or things that would have been happening in the world at the time.</p><p> </p><p>

Hammer Time (Greg Valentine Debut)</p><p>

The Powers That Be (Jim Powers Debut)</p><p>

Eat Your NeidHart Out (Jim Neidhart Debut)</p><p>

Don't Go Breaking My Hart (Owen Hart Debut)</p><p>

The Pills That Pay The Bills (Pillman holds the NWA World Heavy, Junior, and 6-man tag simultaneously)</p><p> </p><p>

Scott Hall was NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Super over. All the momentum in the world. He was restoring prestige to the belt. Then, during a tag match in WWC, he suffers a severe injury, putting him out for a 1 year and 2 months.</p><p> </p><p>

I ran a super show with every belt and talent from every promotion called NWA Showdown I. I'm going to run one of these once every 1 1/2 to 2 years, just to keep things special.</p><p> </p><p>

5 promotions who are under the NWA umbrella with me have declared hostilities towards me, but haven't left the Alliance.</p><p> </p><p>

Chris Candido is a stud. Dude is getting over like crazy. Same goes for Al Snow.</p>

<p>The Pillman always rings twice. haha I think I will have to steal that if I ever start running in your house events in my game. </p><p> </p><p>

I hope that Al Snow becomes a stud for me. He will have an opportunity. I'm not sure what Cactus Jack is doing at the minute. I went in for Dynamite Kid, took him off the breadline, well, I was going to, until WCW came in again. He would have been left unemployed forever if I didn't make a move. Awk well, it is late 1991 and you're not the real Dynamite Kid. I look forward to seeing the WCW cards that he wont appear on. I wanted him to be the fourth man on team Piper after Jim Neidhart was ruled out. </p><p> </p><p>

Basically, what I'm saying , if Jack isn't with WCW, he might be if I make a bid for him. And I want to hook him up with Jake Roberts again after Wrestlemania 8. </p><p> </p><p>

The Texas Tornado returned from rehab and he was chosen as the Jim Neidhart replacement. Maybe the biggest shock of the night was he wasn't high during his match. </p><p> </p><p>

Batten Twins are being prepared in pre show matches against locals. </p><p> </p><p>

Most games I've done so far, I've used a development company, but I haven't on this one. It is for the better, I think. I probably wouldn't have brought Jericho in to give him one of the great rookie years in our business, etc. </p><p> </p><p>

The lifeguard gimmick is coming to our screens in 1992. </p><p> </p><p>

Shane is ready, Shane is ready. </p><p> </p><p>

<span>http://i166.photobucket.com/albums/u111/Jeven316/1991%20Diary/WrestlerPicsLogos/ShaneDouglasWWF.jpg</span></p><p> </p><p>

^ Nope. The search continues. I didn't forget Shane was a heel, I just didn't think his face rating was so low. I could get comedic ( since it isn't comical enough already) and make him a villain lifeguard. I think this is my 1992 project, to make some more movies and establish Shane Douglas. Jericho is now in main event position and is biggest win at Wrestlemania is still waiting for him. Finally beat Dibiase 1 on 1 to make the crowd go wild.</p>

<p>Shocking news in the world of wrestling. Randy Savage has left WWF. All because I had him lose by dq to Jake Roberts so I could extend their feud. In true mofo fashion, Savage waits patiently, he beats Jake in the rematch and then one day later he asks for his release. I reject and he says he will sit out his contract. So I just let him go. </p><p> </p><p>

Funny how things work out. The world title is now vacant heading into the Royal Rumble. My backup plan of Flair vs Hogan for Wrestlemania is now on. Sorry, Steve Williams.</p><p> </p><p>

Dave Meltzer is in for one night. He tips Ric Flair to win the Royal rumble. And he would be right. Including the 'put that cigarette out' post match segment turned up to the max.. Warrior is runner up. Warrior eliminates Hogan and yeah, I'm just repeating the 1992 angle. No plans to turn Warrior heel or anything, but have to think of how to get to Flair vs Hogan. Not like I can have the first Hogan vs Warrior rematch on Saturday night main event. You're paying for this if it ever happens, folks. </p><p> </p><p>

Razor Ramon defeats Bret Hart to win the ic title. Mr Perfect got involved. Thinking of just making the Wrestlemania match with Bret and Perfect an I quit. Keep telling myself this is my world and there is no reason to retire Mr Perfect. End of year 500 had Bret at 11 and Perfect at 12. I bet you can guess who is number 1. </p><p> </p><p>

Shawn Michaels is now the heartbreak kid and it got a great rating. I made him iron man in the royal rumble. The Undertaker had most eliminations.</p><p> </p><p>

Animal joined WCW. Undertaker is living up to his name. Dino handed in his notice so Undertaker beat him and then gave him the dreaded exiting stage assault. Animal took a beating and then was stuffed in a bodybag. Neither have been seen since, unless you are watching WCW, with Dustin Rhodes beating Rick Martel to win the world title.</p><p> </p><p>

Lance Storm defeats Virgil on the rumble undercard. This leads to a post match million dollar dream on Virgil. Chaos (Godwinns) held Virgil while Ted punished him. The Million Dollar Corporation is about to begin. Who will be the crown jewel? Bam Bam Bigelow is coming in and I can see him making a big impact. Plan I have is to make Bigelow an old poker rival of Jericho. Jericho had this to say ''Bigelow can play, Bigelow can play''</p><p> </p><p>

The Patriot defeats Paul Roma for the lolz. Roma just returned after a suspension. </p><p> </p><p>

Liger is in for 2 shows and not for Malenko. He gets the shot at Jericho. 15 minute draw. Rematch on Raw that Jericho will win. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm doing Raw every 2 weeks. Three hour show each fortnight so I don't burnout.</p><p> </p><p>

Tito Santana is the first ECW champion. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

WWF on the 1987 mod.

The guys ive signed in the hopes they will develop their stats are mostly doing well.

Especially Regal.

18 year old Regal has been with me 3 months and in the last month alone hes raised 5 points in mic/charisma etc and a couple in everything else. overall his improvement has been good with his basics/psyc/selling/safety at 70+ some of top rows are 60+ and raising nicely. His Entertainmemt stats started in the 50s and now are mid 60s and raising quick.

Sting and Taker are improving nicely too.

Regal Ive been putting on pre show matches and in promos whenever possible on the main show as a background guy or the butt of jokes etc this has gotten him to LM level despite not winning a match and his stats improving. Going to be patient with him and do this for the next couple of years.

Sting isnt in a program but ive had him win most of his matches. Trying to improve his mic skills. his brawling and keep rising his allready devent basics. by end of 87 ill be having him go for a strap and in programs. being an occational ally to Hogan.

The Undertaker.. ive pushed pretty strong but have tried to hold him at midcard now untill his stats inprove in certain areas to make him a stable top card player. Hes undefeated , had a program with Bruno Sammartino for Mania 3 where he retired Bruno.. Bruno ending up.in a body Bag. Next Taker has had a midcard feud with Jim Duggen. Duggen trying to avenge Sammartino. Taker defeated Duggen in match 1 but he wasnt made an example of by the deadman. Duggen came back for more and now Taker has Vowed to destroy Duggen.

<p>Titan!</p><p> </p><p>

I have Titan up to a 96 overall in the US 18 months into my TCW game with absolutely 0 effort. I haven't had him in any major storylines to date and typically just use him in squash matches. I also have Floyd Goldworthy as his manager and do a hype interview almost every show.</p>

This might get a bit long....

I kinda wanted a specific WCW survives scenario so I started tweaking a version of Genadi's WCW Lives mod that Fleisch had already done some work on. A few tweaks became a lot of tweaks and its basically a personal real world fantasy mod starting in June of 2001, with (as one might expect) WCW still alive. The owner is Shane McMahon, with the idea that he bought it with corporate loans from the WWE. WCW starts with a TV show (on Fox Sports Net) and a PPV deal, but rather bereft of talent. All the big names are on starting absences due to the Time Warner contracts situation - Hogan, Nash, Flair, Sting, Golberg, Scott Steiner, Mysteiro, even Bam Bam. WCW starts at cult so they aren't in great shape. The product is performance equals popularity (very similar to TCW). I have them start with $5m because if someone business ssavy like Shane did buy a company, it would be logical for them to have operating capital.

So the main talent that WCW starts with is Booker T, Jeff Jarrett, Diamond Dallas Page, Buff Bagwell, Dustin Rhodes, Shane Douglas, Sean O'Haire, Chavo, Kidman, Rick Steiner, Road Warrior Animal, Chuck Palumbo, Lance Storm, Mike Awesome, Finlay, Disco, Wright, Shane Helms, and some others. I added a couple of names who would start out as free agents - Curt Hennig, Rob Van Dam, and Tommy Dreamer - but will actually edit the mod to put Hennig back as a free agent. And the one worker who was under WWE contract at the time that I have with WCW is Raven - a personal favorite.

What I like about the scenario is that there are different approaches you can take to rebuilding WCW. You can make do with what you have - Booker, DDP, and Jarrett have reasonably high popularity for a cult-sized company and you can build up any number of the midcarders. You can basically run things as a holding pattern until some of the stars become available later in 2001 and into 2002 - knowing the Eddie Guerrero is typically available in late 2001 (like he actually was) and HBK returns in early 2002. Or you can focus on building new stars by going after the young indy talent who would become the ROH generation. I'm actually doing all three.

So my three main storylines are Booker T and Jeff Jarrett over the main title, Raven going after DDP to make an impact on his return, and Shane Douglas wanting to end the son of a legend by targeting Dustin Rhodes. Shane McMahon also forced Booker to give up one of the titles, making the US title vacant and that led to the creation of an 8 man tournament for the title, a trophy and a one million dollar prize. The tournament will become an annual thing, though not for the US title.

The stories are pretty straight-forward. The idea is that after the last 2-3 years of WCW being epic car crash style booking, the early Shane O'Mac era is rather calm and straight forward booking. At Great American Bash, Booker T beat Jarrett, Douglas went over Rhodes, and Raven upset DDP. I regretted that last one for a moment, as it dropped Page from a B- to a C+ overness, but it jumped Raven from C to B- and Page never complained, so I basically sacrificed my #2 babyface (he'll move down to #3 before long) for new #1 heel. Raven and Booker are now moving toward B overness in mid-July, which is pretty solid. I'm aiming toward a Starrcade showdown between the two, with Raven likely winning the world title.

My aim was to have a scenario where WCW wasn't quick and easy to fix, but it also wasn't impossible to book successfully. In testing, the AI usually can book C+ and B- shows right off the bat, and the growth toward National takes quite a while. A couple of years in most cases - especially since I've imported the regional importance settings from Montreal Aftermath. The grades have actually been a bit better than expected - B and B+. And hitting B+ should be more consistent now that I have a couple of workers getting into the B and better range of popularity. I'm very much looking forward to booking WCW a little ways down the road with a more talented roster and being able to pull regular strong main event match grades....

I added a B show at the start, which may have been a mistake. Well, not a mistake per se, but not yet necessary. Given the indy talent available, I opened not just one, not two, not three, but four developmental promotions. All four are the smallest possible size, but with the product, the talent, and a touring schedule, they seem to grow very quickly. So I have Art of Wrestling in Las Vegas, Legion Pro Wrestling in Chicago, Outlaw Championship Wrestling in Greensborough, and Dixie Belle Wrestling in Memphis. DBW isn't really necessary since WCW don't have a women's division and I'm not sure on adding one, but there aren't many places for the women to work until later in the decade so developing some seems helpful and some will be managers for me. I stocked all of them with about 15 prospects each, plus a few main roster guys who could use more skills - including Palumbo and O'Haire after they dropped the tag belts, Jindrak, and a few others. With a thinner roster, the B show was a bit unnecessary.

Something else I've been doing is running a weekly not broadcast show in Canada - the Maple Leaf tour. Basically, I was able to add broadcast deals for Mexico, but there are no broadcasters in Canada willing to take on WCW at this point. While I could tweak, most of the existing channels from mid 2001 weren't likely going to be showing pro wrestling. Fox Sports World Canada debuts in late 2001, but with no coverage or shows, WCW's Canadian popularity declines and I may not have enough to get a show there when FSWC debuts. Hence the tour shows. Just a one-one weekly event. Usually three matches and two angles. One thing I did notice is that to the roster, its another event - they don't care whether its broadcaster nor not, or how small it is. So if someone in the upper card is left off of Nitro, they get annoyed at being left off the tour show.

After spending several months tweaking this - going back to when TEW was still in testing - I'm really enjoying being able to play it. But I started this one as a test game, knowing that I would run into a few things to tweak. So I will go a bit further but then I'll start over after making those tweaks. And see if a WCW headlined by Booker T, Raven, Kanyon, Sean O'Haire, Samoa Joe, CM Punk, AJ Styles, and Bryan Danielson can take over the wrestling world.
