What's going on in your game?

<p>CZCW in September 2017</p><p> </p><p>

From 2017 I have started to run at least 2 shows a month. The usual PPV's which are the top shows of the month. The second show of he month is the build up to the main show, it' their to give other people wins, try out midcarders with higher guys on higher positions of the card and to raise pop in Mid South. (The secondary shows a month and all called CZCW:Rising Tide. </p><p> </p><p>

There's the occasional 3rd show a month which is for tournaments.</p><p> </p><p>

September is one of those tournament months with The COTT: Best of the Best coming up next, where a representative or two from each member compete in the cup. The COTT is also on the line in every mach the champion is in.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

It's usally 1 person from each group (4CW, CZCW,NYC, OLLIE, NYCW, Freedom) The other two places in the cup are filled up b he current COTT champion and 1 member from the company that is picked at random.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Th COTT Best of the Best 16 champion was my User Chris Flash Hart. </p><p> </p><p>

his year the brackets look like this </p><p> </p><p>

Quarters:</p><p> </p><p>

Mighty Mo v Billy Russel </p><p> </p><p>

Human Arsenal v Remus</p><p> </p><p>

Capitao Brazil v Texas Pete</p><p> </p><p>

Ross Henry v Mimic</p><p> </p><p>

Human Arsenal is the current COTT champion, he's one of my guys and defeated my User for the title. </p><p> </p><p>

Ross Henry is another of my guys who qualifies due to being the CZCW champion. </p><p> </p><p>

My User misses out this year.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm looking at Mighty Mo v Capitao Brazil Jr in the finals. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

..............</p><p> </p><p>

Other Happenings in my company. </p><p> </p><p>

Ross Henry has been my champion for the past 4 months, by ending my users reign. I had high hopes for him but he made the prstige drop from 100 to 85... his last match raised it back up to 90 but I think his time as champ is over, this experience taught me a couple of things, one of which is Ross needs more time to develop. I'm planning on having Ross drop the CZCW title to Scout. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I have signed any Big name that became available, even the older guys. I give my top guys fresh opponents to face and when the old guys have had there programs with my top guys they would face and job out to my up and coming guys in the midcard/Upper Midcard.</p><p> </p><p>

Guy like. </p><p> </p><p>

Freddy Datson- he was heavy in time decline but still very popular so he jobbed for 4 months to guys like Fro Sure and El Mitico and now left the company</p><p> </p><p>

Teddy Powel- I expected better performances from him as he hadn't hit time decline but he was average so he's jobbed out to my mid guys. He's gone now</p><p> </p><p>

Nate Johnson- early tim decline but one of my biggest draws and out performs very well, he's spent the time losing to my champion but defeating others</p><p> </p><p>

Scout- The best signing I've made- same as Nate except i've given him some extra wins as he's going to take the top title. His performances have been exceptional.</p><p> </p><p>

Flying Jimm Fox- I signed him to put over my other guys but he's not hit time decline yet and puts on solid shows so i'm currently building him up to lead the xtreme title division, elevate it a bit and help further bring up the Younger guys.</p><p> </p><p>

Human Arsenal- Puts on solid shows and for some reason I decided that my user would drop the alliance title to him. After he loss the title this month he'll be reduced to putting others over.</p><p> </p><p>

Chris Caulfield- In for a short time to have one last hurrah, feuding with and putting over Extreme Champion Matt Hocking. The guy is a bit bellow average so Chris won't be getting his contract renewed.</p><p> </p><p>

...........</p><p> </p><p>

Donnie J- extended his contract for another 6 months but he's in time decline and will just be jobbing to people before being released.</p><p> </p><p>

............</p><p> </p><p>

By the end of 2017 most of these guys will have been released, Scout and Jimmy Fox may stay a bit longer.</p><p> </p><p>

.............</p><p> </p><p>

I have just signed 3 young rookies to develop on the pre show for the rest of the year. </p><p> </p><p>

Elemental IV</p><p>

American Elemental II</p><p>

Darin Flyn </p><p> </p><p>

Both Elementals will tag together for a couple of years before an eventual split and i'm hoping these guys can lead my company in 6 years time...</p><p> </p><p>

..............</p><p> </p><p>

I'm trying to develop Cali Love Machine , Jake Idol, Tigre Salvaje Jr and Marvol Malloy into Main even level guys for when all the old guys leave. </p><p> </p><p>

.............</p><p> </p><p>

Fro Sure, Matt Hocking and el Mitico Jr are ll good enough to main event now and are getting wins more often to get them there for the end of the year.</p><p> </p><p>

...........</p><p> </p><p>

There han't been an overarching grand storyline for the company to cenr around. There have been individual storylines but there hasn't been a grand one yet. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm planning on having an overarching feud with the introduction of two things: </p><p> </p><p>

#1 A Nation of Domination stable- Ross Henry, Julious Moore, Marc Speed and either Mobsar or I could sign Mighty Mo. </p><p> </p><p>

#2. The revelation that my user is the company owner, Brings into question nepotism which The Nation plays off to try and take over. My user will have fight off the Nation and at the same time prove himself to the others on the roster that he was skilled enough and earned those title. He has to win support to take on the Nation or risk potentially losing control of his company</p>

Just booked KOTR 95 and super pleased with the results. Think I'm gonna run with my top three feuds (Vader/Taker, Douglas/Bret and HBK/Diesel) all the way through to Summerslam as I know they're all capable of great matches.

As far as the next IYH PPV goes. I'm gonna have a short Owen/Bulldog feud to capitalize on the KOTR final. Benoit/Razor to get Benoit more over and I'll no doubt send Razor to rehab for a 2nd time following the match. I'm also gonna have Cactus/Funk defend the tag belts against Jarrett/Douglas and Brian Pillman feud with Ron Simmons (and The Nation) for the IC Title.

As I'm building towards Kane's debut I may even stretch Vader/Taker to Survivor Series and have Kane debut there. All looks good right now.

<p>WWE GM Daniel Bryan announced the formation of a Womens TV Title. The title will be defended every other week, with No1 contender matches alternating the other weeks. (All credit goes to Mr Creative for that one.)</p><p> </p><p>

New Day (Xavier and Kofi) lost the tag titles at Money in the Bank, and have since been on a losing streak. However, Big E did win the Money in the Bank briefcase. In the past 6 months, Big E had been desperately pleading New Day to become more serious. Ambrose returned from an injury two weeks before Halloween Havoc, attacking Big E, as he wanted the Money in the Bank briefcase. The two agreed to have a match, and Dean Ambrose ran out the winner. Big E snapped post-match, attacking Kofi and Xavier, turning heel and breaking up New Day.</p><p> </p><p>

AJ Styles lost his WWE Championship to Seth Rollins at Night of Champions. Two weeks later, a variation of Bulletproof BC, the United States Champion, Finn Balor and AJ Styles teamed up to face former Shield members Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns. AJ stood tall of the end of Raw, before a returning Wyatt Family made a statement, attacking Styles, giving him a Kayfabe concussion. Kevin Owens took AJ Styles spot in the main event, coming up short against Seth Rollins, while Ambrose came out post-match, making sure Seth knew who was holding the briefcase. </p><p> </p><p>

Speaking of the Wyatt Family, a new member debuted on Raw. Biff Busick (using the Oney Lorcan name) debuted, beating down Ambrose. This will lead to Styles making it back for Survivor Series, the co-main event will be the Wyatt Family (Bray Wyatt, Rowan, Harper, Strowman, Lorcan) vs Bulletproof BC (AJ Styles, Finn Balor, Dean Ambrose, Gallows and Anderson.)</p><p> </p><p>

Bought in Mickie James for three months, because she was the most over Women in USA, purely to job her out <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> She lost to Sasha Banks at Halloween Havoc, and he's going to lose to Summer Rae at Survivor Series, and we'll see if she makes it to Armageddon in December.</p>

<p>Still on with CZCW... TCW falling to cult has really helped me pick up guys with good in ring skills to use on my shows and help get my younger guys over. They must be in real trouble with falling finances as every single guy who's deal comes up for renewal gets a PPA offer from them... resulting in for a short time at least top end guys becoming free for me to use on a PPA for a period of time.</p><p> </p><p>

This time Jay Chord has become available, and he'll sign with me, so for a couple of shows at least he'll be tearing things up in the Coastal Zone. With me looking for a new champion, that was going to be Scout, perhaps Jay could come in and take the top strap.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I was tempted for Jay to come in, take someone from the COTT out of it with a backstage assault and insert him in it for the win... but my rule for it is , individual companies storylines won't affect anything in the COTT Best of the Best cup. Not good to put my own agenda ahead of other promotions.</p>

<p>I'm currently WWE also. Done the brand split.</p><p> </p><p>

RAW</p><p>

- Main storyline revolves around the Shield. I went away from what WWE did and kept the title on Reigns (no failed drug test here!) in a schmozz after Ambrose got involved in the match. SummerSlam will be the triple threat and after an (intended) epic they embrace at the end, signalling the end of the feud and the return of the Shield. After a while Reigns will turn and I'll run with him as the heel. Dean Ambrose won't get his win until WrestleMania.</p><p>

- I've turned Bray Wyatt into a "Joker from the Dark Knight" type character and he's absolutely torturing New Day at the moment. No more fun times for them. Really enjoying writing the angles for this and the intention is to establish Wyatt at the top but hopefully I don't damage New Day too much.</p><p>

- Gone all MMA as well. Even though I don't like Sheamus I'm building him as a legitimate tough guy in the hope I can do a shoot-style with Brock down the line. Called up Aries to take on Del Rio in a series of fights too - showcasing submissions, their training, press conferences. I'm really trying to make a legitimate looking product, lots of gimmick changes away from the gimmicky/comedy stuff.</p><p> </p><p>

SmackDown!</p><p>

- Looked to Japan for inspiration here, the typical stable wars. Did the Styles turn on Cena but I'm going to go anti-mark and have Cena win first up. Fear not though, it's only a path to debuting Nakamura, then Balor, Naito and Omega. Once this is in full swing Cesaro will get involved too as he will be free from his MITB win and subsequent build towards the main event. Got so many ideas here, could keep this going 2+ years easily.</p><p>

- I love Jericho's hypocritical side so I'm featuring him heavily for the next few months with the aim of making Ziggler and Rusev credible again.</p><p>

- Of course I'm doing Owens vs. Zayn, why wouldn't I?</p><p> </p><p>

Lots of other smaller storylines to build up a weak midcard.</p>

<p>Just for fun, I started an NYCW game last night with Steve Flash as my avatar, and for the first time ever, I rage-quit.</p><p> </p><p>

Let me explain. USPW, naturally, poached Roger Cage. That's expected, and thankfully, I was able to have him drop the title to Honest Frank at the first NYCW show (since his USPW contract started the very next day). Fine and dandy, except Honest Frank was #2 on the "time decline" list at the start of the game behind my user character.</p><p> </p><p>

As such, I had Frank beat Cage, only for Bulldozer Brandon Smith to challenge him after that match and beat him for the belt, thus launching a new storyline where, ultimately, Frank would put Smith over in the end. Additionally, I brought in my usual suspects in terms of independent talent. Namely, Ernest Youngman, El Mitico, Kip Keenan, Raphael, and Logan Wolfsbaine all showed up.</p><p> </p><p>

I carded eight matches on the very first show, and here's where the real kick to the gonads comes in. Of those eight matches, SIX suffered from a lack of chemistry. That included BOTH Empire title matches. The only exceptions were Steve Flash/Logan Wolfsbaine, which suffered from Flash's STEEP time decline (the screen said 11 years past his prime!), and The Ring Generals/The Boys from the Yukon, which was so-so and only THAT good because Statler and Waldorf are awesome. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>So im playing as the booker for TNA and one of the rivalries i have is Jade vs. Sienna for the Knockouts title</p><p>

Now i use the Auto booker for my B show, Xsplosion, and one of the matches was Jade vs. Solo Darling and i forgot to set it for no title matches so Jade and Solo Darling ended up being a title match with Solo Darling winning and didnt even realise until the Impact after when i was setting up the matches <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/mad.png.69834f23b9a8bf290d98375f56f1c794.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Just finished what I consider my best show to date (85 overall) and the came considers my second best.

Here is the tournament with the last three rounds occurring on the show.

y3mwEYod48_v88huq3wC4dV3i6be6pr-K2aW0f3PdnWdlx_ahggdFIRgfHIhHoGliW--H6Jn5IDUK_JZo5TZhag04pyF0xvGO7wfJO2_ebKnYDNZpRSyJWWK7MdmdjjlFHlzKb_Nq_xOnNrnQFtikE7SbGwA-X95FDM2yoAik4be7Q?width=1199&height=864&cropmode=none

title holders and most recent defense (prestige of title, last match rating)

APW World (100): Ross Henry def. Jack Bruce and Wade Orson retaim the title (84)

APW X-Division (95): Fox Mask def. Remmy Sky, Remmy Honeyman, and Stuntman to retain (71)

APW All-American (100): Jack Avatar def. Stuntman to retain (74)

APW World Tag Titles (100): Henry Bennett and JOJI def. Dynamite Express (Syd Collier and Cameron Jones) by DQ, the express retains (80)

APW Rip Chord Invitational (100): Jack Avatar def. Roy Edison in the finals of a 32 man event (71)

APW Keith Classic (98): Henry Bennett and JOJI def. American Flash (American Elemental II and Yellow Flash) to wind for the second year in a row after botched interference by Syd Collier on Yellow Flash (79)

APW Japan Blood Brothers (70): Tayama and Makoika def. Little Dragon and Robin Newman (62)

APW Japan Sprit of the Warrior's Heart (100) Akinori Kwakami def. Mabuchi Furusawa to retain (82)

Other noteworthy matches/events at the show aside from the world and X title matches above

Marshall Dillion and James Jett def. Sweet n' Sour (Hawkeye Calhoun [face] and Mad Dog Mortimer [ heel]) (81)

Roderick Remus and Miller Fforde def. Douglas Brooks and Cheetah Boy (70)

After Wolfsbaine got pinned, David Stone attacked him, splitting up the team.

After they beat Brooks and Fforde in round 2, Fforde turned heel, attacking brooks and splitting up the team, setting up the match above

Also noted the Leblanc had a broken jaw in the first two rounds that hampered performance. Would have altered the results, but felt Holmes deserved a good run.

Another noteworthy news

I hit $1 million and am ranked 7th overall, and 21st of 35 in terms of $

I now have the Great lakes at 47 importance and am marching up tri-state at 31 (mid atlantic is also at 26)

I bought out WEXXV and set up a Japan Brand

YEPW has folded. CFFW appears next, UEW is on the fringe - I might buy them out if they don't turn it around soon

I just missed out on stealing Wolf Hawkins, I finally got Jack Bruce after his toxicity ended (skills have greatly diminished), and landed Acid and another hot free agent steal yet to debut.

Thrill Seeker will be leaving as we could not come to terms on a deal.

Disappointed by fox masks match ratings. He's so good to start with, improves at a quick rate, and yet is kind of flat.

<p>Well I had my biggest card ever in TEW with USPW in 2017 Independence Day Slam, my first ever 100 rated card. Second 100 rated match, first once came literally the day before on the TV main event. Warning now, this card is stacked with talent, I've splurged money and thrown everything in contracts at people. Faces first.</p><p> </p><p>

Hernandez and Jameson Vs O'Farraday and Bulldozer for Tag Titles. Heels retained, rating 89.</p><p> </p><p>

Joshua Taylor vs John Anderson vs Squeeky McClean Vs Trent Shaffer. Taylor retained, rating 82</p><p> </p><p>

Gargantuan won a battle totals for TV title, scoring most eliminations along the way. Rating 82</p><p> </p><p>

James Justice Vs Joss Thompson, Justice won to finish the series 2-1. Rating 80</p><p> </p><p>

Rick Law vs Enygma, Law won first match between the Allies turned bitter enemies. Rating 89</p><p> </p><p>

Steve Frehley Vs Paul Huntingdon, Steve Frehley wins first match here but both men jumped in pop after this match. Rating 95</p><p> </p><p>

Greg Black and Robbie Retro vs Caulfield and Ross Henry, Caulfield and Henry won. Cool down match before the real big hitters. Rating 75</p><p> </p><p>

Nicky Champion Vs Bryan Vessey Last Man Standing. Champion Wins, Vessey then gets suspended for roids, no matter. Rating 96</p><p> </p><p>

Sean Mcfly Vs Jay Chord, Chord wins. Biggest disappointment of the night but McFly is 6 years in decline, and is a special attraction now. Epic match aim might have killed it. Rating 66</p><p> </p><p>

Valiant Vs Tommy Cornell for USPW title. Cornells first match here. Absolutely killed it. Hell's Bouncer botched interference caused Valiant to retain. Rating 100.</p><p> </p><p>

I also had 3 100 rated angles with pre match interviews and stuff. The McFly- Chord match aside, this card was amazing, so happy with it. As im on my phone I haven't gone into storylines but everything was built up to this PPV except for the battle royale. If anyone has any questions/queries about the card or my save feel free to ask. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p>I'm a little frustrated at times when I Look at guys in Japan like Kobe and Angel and I realise the may never work fulltime for my CZCW no matter how popular I get <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Those guys are made to be the faces of a National CZCW. I may try and get a working agreement with them and get them for 5 appearances every year.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm also looking at seeing how 4 CZCW bred talent will b able to fit prominently into my plans going forward. </p><p> </p><p>

American Flash, Acid II, Jake Idol and Cali Love Machine. </p><p> </p><p>

Flash and Acid and above average cruiserweights current and both have 2 or 3 years before they hit 30 and their development slows right down. I'm hoping the can jump forward in their progression so I can feature them above the midcard, especially looking forward to when I'm cult.</p><p> </p><p>

Cali Love Machine I'm having in a program with my User to get him over to Main event level. He's been in Upper Midcard with 2 extreme title reigns and featured in feuds. He's good some good basics, Psyc, Mic, Charisma and Sex Appeal with average Ariel and Flashiness. At 29 he's a couple years to develop but he'sa at a state where at regional he can Main event I feel.</p><p> </p><p>

Jake Idol, he's been mostly jobbing in his tag team for the past 18 months. Picking up a few wins. When I get couple more tag teams sorted I'll be pushing Jake Idol. Similar stats to Cali but with Brawling instead of Cali's Ariel. </p><p> </p><p>

I filled up with the biggest names i could grab to put over my guys but it's gotten out of hand and i'm having to put on longer shows to fit in the people. I'm pulling the trigger on letting the older guys go after a couple more losses to people. Jimmy Fox and Scout will stay long term. Nat Johnson still has a bit of time left but the other 3 or 4 oldies will be gone in a couple months.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm also thinking of 2018 being CZCW going back to it's roots, getting rid of the Scythe's , the Julious Moor's etc who really don't have a place in a regional CZCW. Ross Henry I may keep and Warmonger.</p><p> </p><p>

Hired a few younger guys who were unemployed but offered something like Robbie Wright... Mostly as jobbers</p><p> </p><p>

Got Jacob Jet who've let simmer a bit , picking up a couple wins, losing a high profile match, being in promo's just treading water until I pull the trigger, at Lower mid he has some building up to do but will easily main event.</p>

<p>Currently in April 2017 playing as TCW.</p><p> </p><p>

Current Heavyweight champion is Aaron Andrews. He had defended against all comers, before losing it to Angry Gilmore. Gilmore only managed to make one defense however, before Andrews won back the title in his rematch after interference from a debuting Remo.</p><p> </p><p>

Current International champion is Rick Law. Managed to sign Law in the period of time where USPW and SWF had dropped to cult, while I was still at National. Am currently looking for someone to build up for him to drop it to (more on that later...).</p><p> </p><p>

Current Tag champs are The Canadian Animals. Am quite happy with the Tag division, as I currently have The Machines, The Elite, The New Wave, High Concept, Devine Fortune and Quadruple B, who are all capable of putting on matches in the high 70s. Will most likely drop the titles to High Concept, before I give Huggins and Stone singles pushes.</p><p> </p><p>

One thing that made me have to make a big change was Jay Chord. I had built him up to around 93-94 pop in USA and Canada. I was going to have Rocky Golden beat Andrews for the title at Total Mayhem, then have Chord win the title off Rocky. Unfortunately Chord got caught up in "a major financial scam targeting the vulnerable". His pop has now dropped back down to 68-69. Have given him a few months off to wait out him being toxic, then will likely build him up again to take the International title off Law.</p>

<p>Jumped ship to YEPW.I wish Phoenix I the best on his future endeavors.</p><p> </p><p>

I found out that Halloween Knight improved his SQ and Charisma Dramatically(SQ is A,Charisma is B) and does have D pop. all over Australia.Even being only a local company,I made him my figurehead to try the new mechanic out.If I'm not out of the business by 11 months I will see if it was a good idea.</p><p> </p><p>

Phoenix III was released by OLLIE,I find this fascinating. They,as I expected, lost most of their Uppercard to SOTBPW.</p><p> </p><p>

An interesting thing about Champagne Lover:There was a single of his matches wich wasn't an A,twas a B+ against Pirata Malvado. He lost the World Championship to Multimillionario in his only defeat, wich isn't surprising as he left to make movies and will come back....IN EIGHT MONTHS?And he left in August, wich was when SOTBPW finally started to raid me.They don't exactly need stars but,yeah.</p><p> </p><p>

EDIT:Ryu Kajahara passed away.Maybe I will try to get Ownership of WEXXV.</p><p> </p><p>

Modern Japan Championship,here I come!</p>

I'm having a blast with MAW right now. Edd Stone is a MAJOR star in the Mid-Atlantic (83 popularity, 58 everywhere else in the U.S.), and I've put both the COTT and MAW titles on him. In a fun twist, I managed to lure Dan Stone, Jr., out of retirement, which is going to make for some REALLY fun segments down the road.

Well, I jinxed the daylights out of that one, as Edd Stone is now leaving MAW for CGC. I still plan to keep Dan on board, as Sam Keith's contract is coming up for renewal and he has no intentions to stay on board. Dan will likely fill the role of my main road agent/on-screen authority figure/trainer at the Mid Atlantic dojo. As a retired wrestler, he's no longer GREAT in the ring, but he can do OK if he absolutely has to.

On the plus side, I'm not hurting for top-quality faces. Ross Henry is a star, Darryl Devine has become my best in-ring performer, and poaching Bulldozer Brandon Smith was a great move, as he's got promo skills and can work with pretty much anyone, from brawlers to technicians.

Logan Wolfsbaine is approaching a year-long reign with the American title, and it may be time to take it off of him, as he's approaching upper-midcard status (41 popularity in the Mid-Atlantic). The question is, what do I do with him after that? Do I turn him heel? Do I find an upper-midcard gatekeeper heel to put him over? The wheels are turning here.

<p>So,in an unexpected turn of events,I'm the All-New TIER 1 booker!</p><p> </p><p>

I injected some capital to the already huge 10 million they start with, opening the TIER 1 network, with nice coverage all over japan.</p><p> </p><p>

I also disbanded a Regional MAW,so I got their popularity and reached a PPV deal with National Pride TV(with a helping hand of the editor)</p><p>

I also pillaged SAISHO,so my roster is theirs with some other guys.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm surprised and happy to say Kiminobu Kuroki is my top draw, the guy improved a lot in one year(despite being nearly 40 years old).I will keep an eye in other GCG "prospects".</p><p> </p><p>

Also,I hope this run with TIER 1 lasts more than a few months like with OLLIE,YEPW and most recently WEXXV,wich is not in debt God knows how.</p><p> </p><p>

Oh,and The Awesome Kiyaru,Head trainer of the TIER 1 dojo just got inducted in the BHOTWG Hall of Fame.</p>

<p>When I started my The Golden Age JCP game, I made a mental note to make an honest effort to book towards that years Starrcade as it actually was. That year's card was:</p><p> </p><p>

Ric Flair def Ron Garvin© For the NWA World Title</p><p>

Dusty Rhodes def Lex Luger© for the NWA US Title</p><p>

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard© def The Road Warriors for the NWA Tag titles</p><p>

Nikita Koloff def Terry Taylor to unify the UWF and NWA TV Titles</p><p>

The Rock n Roll Express def The Midnight Express</p><p>

Steve Williams© def Barry Windham for the UWF Heavyweight title</p><p>

Sting, Michael Hayes and Jimmy Garvin drew Eddie Gilbert, Rick Steiner and Larry Zybszko</p><p> </p><p>

My Starrcade wound up being:</p><p>

Ric Flair© def Dusty Rhodes for the NWA World Title</p><p>

Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard def The Rock n Roll Express© for the NWA Tag Titles</p><p>

Barry Windham and Jerry Lawler def The Midnight Express</p><p>

Bruiser Brody def Nikita Koloff</p><p>

Wendi Richter© def Dump Matsumoto, Sherry Martel, and Chigusa Nagayo for the NWA Women's Title</p><p>

Ron Simmons© def Manny Fernandez for the NWA US Title</p><p>

Sting© def Mike Rotundo for the NWA TV Title</p><p>

The Garvins, Keiichi Yamada, The Warrior and Kendall Windham def Vader, Johnny Ace, The Barbarian, and Rick Steiner</p><p> </p><p>

Let's examine how this deviated from reality, and see how I got there.</p><p> </p><p>

Right off the bat, less than a month in the game, Road Warrior Hawk is put out for over a year with a concussion. Next, is the Ron Garvin problem. In reality, Ric Flair drops the title to Garvin for two months specifically to win it back at Starrcade. In game, however, I can't promise Flair his title back and there's no way Flair will drop the title to Garvin. I decide to swap Garvin for Barry Windham, he's much more popular and more talented. When it came time for Flair to drop the title in September, he was still furious, even if he was made to look strong, even with a tainted victory. Flair retained in September and a rematch was planned for Starrcade. Hopefully Starrcade would end with a new World Champion.</p><p> </p><p>

One month before Starrcade, in a match with Ron Simmons, Lex Luger suffered an ruptured spleen. They changed the finish on the fly and Simmons won the US title. Luger would be out until after Starrcade. The decision was made to go with the best possible feud for the main event, Flair vs Rhodes. This left Windham without a match.</p><p> </p><p>

Once the Road Warriors/Horsemen match went out the window, the plan was to end Starrcade with all the Horsemen holding gold except Luger, leading to his turning against the others. Earlier in the year, The Rock n Roll Express defeated The Midnight Express to unifi the NWA World and US Tag Titles, leading to Anderson/Blanchard vs the RR Express.</p><p> </p><p>

All the UWF title matches are off the table, since the UWF doesn't begin to collapse until December, and Starrcade is in November. Steve Williams, Michael Hayes, Larry Zybzskzo, and Eddie Gilbert all signed written contracts for other companies, AWA, WCCW, and NJPW.</p><p> </p><p>

Just to give them something to do, I planned Barry Windham and the remaining Road Warrior in a feud with the Midnight Express. The week before Starrcade, Road Warrior Animal was injured for 2 month. Jerry Lawler, on loand from CWA, was a last minute replacement.</p><p> </p><p>

Since Steve Williams had signed with NJPW, I wanted to bring in Stan Hansen. Since Stan Hansen won't work in the US, I decided to bring in Bruiser Brody. He came in as a heel, and needed someone to beat to establish him. Nikita Koloff was selected as punishment for a string of injury causing botches(Both Road Warriors, Tully Blanchard, Arn Anderson, and Manny Fernandez). </p><p> </p><p>

Since I wasn't expecting Ron Simmons as US Champion, I wasn't sure what to do with him. I paired him up with fellow midcard brawler, Manny Fernandez.</p><p> </p><p>

When Tully Blanchard was out for a little more than a month due to the Nikita Effect, he was forced to vacate the TV title since he was unable to defend it for 30 days. A tournament was held to crown a new champion, ending in a match bewtween Johnny Ace and Rick Rude at the Eddy Graham Memorial Show. This match was interrupted by a debuting Vader, causing the match to be thrown out. Rick Rude was fired the next day for failing a drug test(causing Curt Hennig to be angry and eventually quit, helping to ruin that years War Games match, as documented earlier in this thread). Vader beat Ace, leading to a feud with Sting, Sting beat Vader, leading to a feud with The Varsity Club, and Sting vs Rotundo.</p><p> </p><p>

I've also been attempting to build up a Women's division. It's going quite well, aside from a few roadblocks(Wendi Richter refusing to drop the title, AJW and AWA signing talent for more money than I think they're worth). Not much of a story behind that match.</p><p> </p><p>

The final match is mostly a filler match, though interestingly, in my game The Barbarian and The Warlord have terrible chemistry, so the Powers of Pain had a short, unimpressive run. The Barbarian and Johnny Ace have great chemistry, and have been crushing jobbers for weeks. Thinking about changing his name, not sure to what.</p><p> </p><p>

So, thanks for reading, if you haven't just skimmed it. I hope you've found it interesting.</p>

<p>^ Very interesting.</p><p> </p><p>

Finally decided to try another Mod out. I have a card booked on my Risky Business save so I can get back to it, but right now I'm using rising storms. </p><p> </p><p>

Running WCW. April 1991. </p><p> </p><p>

My user character is running the show. That man is Arnold Schwarzenegger.</p><p> </p><p>

Card for April PPV (Spring Stampede)</p><p> </p><p>

Main event </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Sting and Barry Windham vs Ric Flair and Sid Vicious</strong></p><p>

Sid is out of control. Not turning up for Horsemen meetings, etc, but too dangerous to let go. Will Sid and Flair make it through this? Will Sid walk out? </p><p> </p><p>

Barry was kicked out of the Horsemen, so that is the only way Sting can trust him. The enemy of my enemy theory. </p><p> </p><p>

[<strong>B]world tag team</strong>: <strong>Steiners vs Anderson and Blanchard </strong>(some things never change) I went for Tully straight away. It is clear the Horsemen are not what they once were. That doesn't mean they are ready for the bread line either. </p><p>

</p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>US title</strong></strong><strong>: Rick Rude vs Ricky Steamboat</strong></p><p>

I know they had great matches in real life later on. I watched their beach blash match the other day. Rude came in and beat Luger on his debut. Beat him in the rematch as well. Ricky has been picking up a few wins. Probably going to do 20 minute draw. booo</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

</strong><strong><strong>TV title</strong></strong><strong>: ''Stunning Steve Austin'' vs Owen Hart </strong></p><p>

I've made Dangerous Alliance with members: Rude, Austin, Nash Vegas (killer chemistry with Paul E) and Dean Malenko. Rude won the US title on his debut, Austin won the TV title from Tom Zenk in his second match. Paul pulled strings to get Austin the match and he did not let him down. Austin has the hottest prospect in pro Wrestling tag attached to him. Owen beat Jack Victory to get this shot.</p><p>

</p><p><strong>

Kevin Sullivan vs Cactus Jack</strong></p><p>

Cactus made his debut on a random Saturday Night main event. He was attacked by Sullivan afterwards. Sullivan starts rambling about hearing a lot about Jack. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bret Hart vs Terry Taylor</strong>. Bret makes his debut here. WWF did offer Bret another contract. I wanted him, so they could never keep him. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> I didn't want Piper as much, his contract came up and I put a reasonable offer, but WWF beat me. Bret first on screen appearance was distracting Jack Victory in a match against Owen. Jack and Owen had been having a lousy feud leading up this. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Bobby Eaton vs Black Tiger</strong> (Eddie Guerrero) This is a number one contender match for the light heavyweight title. Eaton pinned Tiger in a recent six man. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Light heavyweight title</strong>: Brian Pillman vs Liger (final match of talent trade) vs Great Sasuke. Light heavyweight division is looking good. Paul E believes Dean should have a shot right now. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Lex Luger vs Tim Horner</strong></p><p>

Luger has just turned heel on Sting, so now he beats up some lower card guys before the inevitable match with Sting. That is why I had Luger lose twice to Rude, because a heel turn would rejuvenate him. Luger helped Sting beat Flair after Sting told him he wanted to go at it alone. They still embraced after the match, but then Luger did his thing. Had to get an early Sting double cross going on this game. Just had to get it out of the way. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Vader vs Dustin Rhodes</strong></p><p>

Booking Vader again. What fun <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/cool.png.f00d2562b2c1d873a09323753efdb041.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Dustin has been having a hard time recently. The Freebirds keep mocking him to get at Dusty. Dustin then cut a harmless promo, he unfortunately mentioned Vader name, he was praising Vader, but obviously that is not allowed. Vader attacked Dustin backstage. Be rude not to. </p><p> </p><p>

They actually formed a clique together, along with Dusty. After every show nearly, I'm getting an email from Vader about how great Dustin is. Anyway, this lead to a Vader destruction of Rhodes on the last show. </p><p> </p><p>

Vader will beat him, no doubt about that. Vader is just being kept busy before he goes after Sting. Yeah, I can't possible not do Sting vs Vader 25 times. Just not exactly sure of when yet because of the Luger turn. </p><p> </p><p>

The ultimate goal here is to do Goldust in WCW. I sort of have the picture planned in my mind of how I will end up getting there.</p>
