Official "Booking Committee" Thread

So I'm running a TCW game where Tommy Cornell didn't wind up abandoning the company (I see why Adam moved him, gameplay-wise, but man Tommy, if you'd stayed an extra few minths you'd have been back in #2).

Anyway, I'm planning for Rocky to go over Aaron Andrews at the Feb PPV for World Heavyweight. They have horrible chemistry, so I plan to bring in Wolf Hawkins and Troy Tornado to chase the belt.

Eventually, my goal is to splinter into a full-blown war between three factions - a Tornado & Vessey stable; a Hawkins & Cornell stable; and Bach, Golden, Taylor and New Wave.

My questions are - what do I do with Andrews for the next 6 - 8 months? Preferably, I want him outside the Cornell stable, but still in a position to oust Hawkins as Cornell's protege so I can turn Hawkins face as our new figurehead.

And what is a good reason for Tornado to get involved in the belt chase? He's currently a Tag Champ due to a mistake, so tying the losing of the tag belt into chasing the World Heavyweight would be nice.

-Peter Michaels

-Jennifer Cornell

-a good active worker (suggestions appreciated)

Suggestions for a third UC:

I'm starting to plan the Money in the Bank ladder match, and I've come down to three possible winners (in my mind): Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens or AJ Styles. However, I'm leaning mostly towards Owens. The storyline would be something like Styles finally winning the world title at Hell in a Cell after a gruelling match against whoever is the champion (Probably still Reigns). Owens cashes in, and the two feud over the World title afterwards. Thinking that Owens vs Styles could produce some good grades... But I dunno... I could go in another route. Was thinking of Styles beating Miz for the IC title, to have him go through that phase first, and maybe have Ambrose win the briefcase and cash in on good friend, Reigns.

Assuming you are playing 2016 I am going to suggest how I would run the feud. You don't actually have to play it out like this. (It also requires Reigns to hold the belt the year, or lose it and pick it up at the Royal Rumble.)

- Ambrose wins MiTB but he costs Owens the win. (Owens about to grab a briefcase after clearing the ring with a ladder/steel chair/himself. Ambrose takes Owens out with a chair knocking him off the ladder before securing the briefcase.)

- Ambrose/Owens feud for a couple months with Owens making a statement and destroying Ambrose at the next PPV (Battleground). The next night Ambrose wants a rematch, but Owens being a prize-fighter will only accept if Ambrose puts the briefcase on the line. Ambrose v Owens for MiTB Briefcase at Summerslam, with Ambrose choosing a match stipulation. (Ambrose to retain the case.)

- Come the Royal Rumble Ambrose/Owens haven't had any confrontation since then. It is Owens v Reigns for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Reigns wins (Either because Ambrose came out and distracted the Owens or clean wins.) Ambrose cashes in on a wounded Reigns who he takes out, but Owens costs Ambrose the title. (DQ Win Ambrose, or goes to no-contest.)

- Both Ambrose and Owens have valid reasons to face Reigns at Fastlane. (Ambrose being screwed out of his title shot. Owens maybe former champion deserving rematch, or because Ambrose screwed him.) The GM/Authority place them in a match at Fastlane with the winner going on to face Reigns and the Royal Rumble winner at Wrestlemania. (This gives them a 3rd and final match against each other since MiTB)

- You could have Rollins be the unlikely winner at the Royal Rumble to set up Ambrose/Reigns/Rollins at Wrestlemania. (You could swap Reigns and Rollins at the Royal Rumble if you want someone else in the title picture. But to set up the Shield reunion Reigns would need to win another Rumble.)

That or Owens wins and dominates the world would be my two suggestions.

Samael the Accuser got pretty good ratings for me in my RTG game, so I signed him in my new Cult game to a developmental deal.

Anyone have any good ideas on how to use him? He only has 69 Star Quality, so I will probably use him in as a Upper Midcarder at most, maybe he could Main Event one day when I have 5 Main Events with good drawing power, but for the time being I want to get him to Midcard/Upper Midcard level.

I want to build a stable around him, most likely as a Heel. Anyone have any good ideas on who I could include in this stable? I think I want the stable to stand on its own for now, until they threaten whomever they're feuding with bringing forth the "Destroyer" and I will bring him in as Samael the Destroyer or just Samael. Not sure yet on how big I want the stable to be, so if anyone has good ideas for people and ideas on maybe re-naming them or fleshing out the character side of the stable, that'd be great.

With Luke Harper injured and Rowan and Strowman sent back down to NXT, I need a new member of the Wyatt family to tag with him to take on JeriShow.

I'm more than likely going to go with Abyss, but I'm open to any other suggestions who would fit the Wyatt mould.

Also suggestions of WWE names for Abyss would be deeply appreciated.

I would probably stick to Abyss. Seems like an iconic name for him.

Well that is a challenging one, but I guess I will give this a shot. Presuming you are beginning this now as we go in to Extreme Rules with an injured Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. Wyatt is only a minor injury but I think Harper is out for a few months. So while Wyatt is injured have him cut promos, talking about how Luke Harper has been sacrificed, and that his family is immortal, when one brother falls, another takes his place.

After weeks of build, we get to Money in the Bank and Bray is the surprise entrant in the match with Owens, Styles, Ambrose, Cesaro, Baron Corbin and Kofi Kingston. So the match goes on and it looks as if AJ is about to take the victory when the lights go out, and when they come up, Braun Strowman and Erick Rowan are below him. They start beating down AJ and Anderson and Gallows come to make the save. Lights out once again, and Viktor is standing in the ring alongside Bray Wyatt. Wyatt orders Viktor to attack and he picks apart Anderson and Gallows, with the reat of the Wyatts as Bray climbs the ladder and takes the briefcase.

So the storyline continues, Bray loves his family but Viktor is his main man, just like Harper was. Its important to keep Viktor unbeatable for a while, just making him a bad ass who Bray calls upon to do his dirty work. So we have a Wyatt Family vs Bullet Club rivalry, 4-on-3 as the big Summer storyline, the Wyatts using the numbers game and the advantage of Viktor to always get the upper hand. We get to Summerslam and it's 4 vs 4, Wyatts vs Bullet Club and a surprise man, and the surprise - Luke Harper. Harper returns with a vengeance, not for Wyatt, but for the man who stole his spot. BC wins when Harper pins Rowan.

So we have Harper vs Viktor as a priority storyline, but Wyatt does not want Harper to get his hands on Viktor, and so sticks Strowman and Rowan on him. In the meantime, Viktor earns a US Title shot against Kalisto for Night of Champions and completely obliterates him, wipes the floor with him, in a Ronda Rousey-esque dominant victory. On the same night, Luke Harper beats Erick Rowan very comfortably. Kalisto has his rematch at Hell in a Cell and meets the same fate and Harper beats Strowman in a more competitive contest than the Rowan match.

Bray is angry that his brothers failed to stop Harper and once again, he turns to his right hand man, Viktor to get the job done. Harper and Viktor face each other at Survivor Series and the match ends in a no contest when the two battle around the arena and just beat the hell out of each other, ultimately ending when Viktor puts Harper through the commentary table. Harper comes out the next night on Raw and tells Viktor that he's only getting started, and challenges him to a TLC match at TLC, which he refuses. And so to get what he wants, Harper once again destroys Erick Rowan and Braun Strowman, forcing Bray to tell Viktor to finish Harper, before he has to do it himself.

At TLC we get Luke Harper vs Viktor in a TLC Match for the US Title and Viktor ultimately comes out on top after putting Harper through double tables on the outside. It is at this point, Bray Wyatt cashes in his Money in the Bank on Roman Reigns after a gruelling Ladder match.

Royal Rumble time and Dean Ambrose wins the Royal Rumble, throwing out Viktor last to win the match. Reigns also fails to regain his title after Viktor interfered to win the match for Bray. Reigns and Ambrose team up to take on the Wyatts on the Road to Wrestlemania and we end up with Viktor vs Roman and Bray vs Ambrose at Wrestlemania. In a shock, Viktor defeats Roman to retain his title which instantly makes him a top guy in the company and Bray manages to defeat Ambrose in the main event and Wrestlemania goes off the air with the Wyatts celebrating with their gold.

Tough guy to legitimise but I think this storyline could work as it also establishes Bray Wyatt as a top guy and also gives Luke Harper a bigger platform to showcase himself because that guy definitely needs it. Im thinking keep Viktor with the Wyatts until you feel he is ready to challenge Bray for the World title, like when Batista turned on Evolution. Good luck with this one

I'm really struggling for something to do with Phil Cooper.

I need another face in the UM and he's got the skills/pop/opportunity. I'm just really struggling for a fun character for him. He's so bland it hurts.

Any ideas gang?

Put him under a mask! That's one of my go to ideas for a character I think is really bland. I either put them under a mask or I pair them in a tag team with someone I really like. When they're under a mask, you can give them the name and gimmick you want and just go crazy.

So Rick Law & Dawn the Cheerleader had awful chemistry and I needed to separate them (Shaffer 'accidentally' threw Law into Dawn during a match, Law visits her in hospital to say she can't be at his side anymore as he's too afraid of hurting her.) So any suggestions as to what I do with Dawn now? I can't turn her heel but need to pair her up with someone. Also she will eventually be used to facilitate a Rick Law heel turn but that should be a long way down the road.

Also can I get some tag team recommendations to flesh out the division? Natural Storm, Towers of Power & Cold Warriors have traded titles since 2011 and I feel like people would be sick to death of seeing these feuds. The McWades are one option, Grunt & Stink are another (albeit a terrible option, I used them in 2013 to decent effect). Elmo Benson is on PPA at TCW so he & Greg Black could be used though I don't think they'd be a great fit for USPW.

Cameron Jones and Syd Collier have been fun for me to book in MAW. They wouldn't be main-eventers or anything, but if you need a midcard heel tag team, they're decent hands that could have room to grow.

<p>Just lookibg for an opinion </p><p> </p><p>

Playibg NOTBPW. Just finished January the first year and am looking to push Deeley to the world title. I currently have a six month storyline involving mcfly and Deeley working as a team against Steve Decolt and Johnny bloodstone. I had Decolt take the belt of Westbrook in the first month at big city brawl. </p><p> </p><p>

The plan right now has Deeley winning my equivalent of the Royal rumble, then battling bloodstone to keep his title shot and then going on to my wrestlemania to take on Decolt for the strap. </p><p> </p><p>

I'm thinking Decolt vs Deeley could be a great feud. My question is whether I should put the strap on Deeley and have Decolt paying dirty to get it back or should I have Decolt retain and have the story be about Deeley trying to finally top Decolt. </p><p> </p><p>

How would you guys book that?</p>

Really hope to have deeley and vessey anchor the company for years</p>
