I've always seen Emma Chase as a serious business woman type, who is all brains and devious planning. She just happens to be one of the most beautiful women in the business. Not to say she would never ever use her Sex Appeal, but that its not her typical approach.

If memory serves, she did go under Easy Emma in DAVE and I see her starting out being dependent on the Sex Appeal, but developing past that when she debuted in to the SWF.

I think she wasn't so dependent from Sex Appeal even there, maybe in her earlier DAVE years like in late '90s, early 2000s. If I remember right even in TEW 2005 she was the best manager in all world.

From TEW 2005, her stables:

DAVE

The House Of Holmes

Bryan Holmes, Emma Chase, Eddie Peak, Doug Peak, Carl Batch

NYCW

Extreme Inc.

American Buffalo, Emma Chase, Grandmaster Phunk, Sammy The Shark

I'd kind of imagined her as Stephanie McMahon, but without the family ties. In one SWF game, I basically ran a gender-flipped version of the HHH-Stephanie marriage storyline with her and Eric.

Speaking of which, could you imagine what would happen if one of the Eisens married Alicia Strong?

Anyway, does pushing James Prudence, normally work out for you guys?

In my save Prudence had awful luck. He managed to run afoul of Eric Eisen, who turned about half the locker room against James. He asked for his release, which I gave him, this was June 2016. He then blew out his knee on the indies and was out for a year.

Emma to me is what would happen if Trish Stratus never started competing in the ring but started working on her promo skills instead.

Figured I'd give this thread a little bump. I'm in June of 2016. About to have PPV before Supreme Challenge next month.

Enjoying the save as never played SWF before. Tend not to play C-Verse, usually. At the beginning of the game, I set a lot of the Big player contracts (Lover, Cornell, Bruce, Golden etc.) to random lengths rather than some of the pre-set ones.

I moved Welcome To The Jungle to May to keep it like the Royal Rumble;- Winner gets a title shot at Supreme Challenge.

After a lengthy 6 month feud with The Crippler, Bruce won the Rumble and will face Remo at SC36 (Bruce isn't in decline yet, even at 43. Result!). Bruce has had Gino Montero, American Warrior (Roger Cage as a Blonde Sting type) and Valiant backing him while Crippler has had Joe Sexy & BSS.

Crippler will vs Valiant at SC while Montero & Warrior will vs BSS & Sexy in a loser leaves SWF match

Tommy Cornell's contract came up. I've signed him away from 21CW and he'll debut night after SC and challenge Jack Bruce to a Once In A Lifetime match at SC37 (Similar to Cena vs Rock). I've also managed to sign Jay Chord away from TCW. He'll team up with the already established team of Gregory Gauge & Hollywood Starr. The spawn of Sam Keith, Rip Chord & Micky Starr as a stable? Yes, please. An unoriginal idea (Basically Legacy) but still, should be awesome. However, Starr is making it difficult to keep up his push as he's causing incidents every month backstage.

Eric Eisen has bumped up to 90 overness across the US. The guy is an absolute stud on the mic in this save. His stable of Emma Chase, Marat Khoklov and, the recently added, Gargantuan are running riot over the SWF. Eisen has been calling out DeBones over the past few months and DeBones has been on the receiving end of several beatdowns. Christian Faith & Bruce The Giant returned to the company as authority figures and personalities. They've received beatdowns too and the challenges have been laid out for SC.

Eisen will face off against Christian Faith.

Marat will face off against Skull DeBones.

Gargantuan will face off against Bruce The Giant. (Gargantuan has been in development for 5 months so this should hopefully won't totally blow but it should be a spectacle).

I also recently stole Steve DeColt away from NOTBPW. 42 and not in decline yet? Perfect! He aided Ricky DeColt in capturing the Uprising Title and now he'll be in the mix for the NA belt at SC along with Joey Morgan (Champ), Huntingdon & Brandon James. DeColt is basically under a heel gimmick that's a cross between Mr Perfect & Rick Rude.

What's going on in your SWF saves?

I got busy and hadn't done my save in about a month so I opened it up. We are in 2019 and Welcome to the Jungle just finished.

Brandon James became King of the Jungle by winning the Rumble match and now has a MITB style contract (must give 48 hour notice before cashing in). He cuts an emotional promo at the beginning about people thinking he was done and had no chance of winning the Rumble after he drew #1. He finished by saying that he will find his way back to the top of SWF. Hollywood Bret Starr has been James’ current thorn and James needs to get over the hump and beat Starr before he can be considered a true threat to the title.

Wolf Hawkins and Valiant have great chemistry and after a 100 match at Supreme Challenge 39 (where I discovered the chemistry, I live dangerously) I continued their program. Hawkins has held the SWF title for six months and looks like he will continue to hold it as this feud heads for its finale.

Zimmy Bumfhole now goes by King Z with his new manager Queen Emily. Randy and Z had their big Supreme Challenge moment a couple years ago and now are both doing their own thing. Randy had to vacate the SWF IC title due to injury.

The vacant IC title was decided at Supreme Challenge when Joey Morgan won a five way match to claim the title. Morgan and his stablemates had some tension that finally boiled over when Des Davids eliminated Morgan from the Rumble and Davids, Morgan and third stable member Marat Khoklov got in a brawl. Their manager Floyd Goldworthy has been unsuccessful in mediating the madness and Davids and Morgan are looking to face off over the IC title in the immediate future.

Speaking of broken stables. Double Trouble (Greg Gauge, Spencer Spade and High Flyin Hawaiian), a Shield-esque stable that debuted in a huge feud with Jack Bruce a few years ago, had their long anticipated triple threat match over the North American title with HFH taking the gold. Spade and Gauge are heading towards their first one on one match soon while Primus Allen has inserted himself into the NA title picture with attacks on HFH.

Nicky Champion and Fredrique Antonio Garcia are caught in a surprisingly brutal feud. Garcia brought Champion on his talk show, mocking his last name and then attacking him. Garcia picked up a huge upset at Supreme Challenge but was unsuccessful in the rematch when they battled for the 30th spot in the Rumble. Champion and Garcia don’t look like they’re done with each other yet.

Fro Sure and Rocky Weatherfield are two bright prospects that are currently in a feud with the Desert Storm and The Silencer. They are looking to move up the ladder from their lower midcard spots.

The biggest feud is between figurehead Jimmy Hernandez and “South of the Border”, a stable consisting of Marcos Fuentes (an unmasked Mayan Idol, who lost his mask against Hernandez at Supreme Challenge in SWF’s first ever unmasking), El Fuerza (going by his real name of Hector Rodriguez, debuting and attacking Hernandez right after he unmasked Idol) and Notrious (Carlos Barrera and Miguel Rivera, fresh out of developmental). Rodriguez came up to SWF because he was tired of all the “SWF Rejects” that were invading SOTBPW (I’m tired of it too.. They’ve stolen Stardust, Bruce, Steven Parker, James Prudence, Remo and a bunch of others) and he came to show Hernandez and SWF that the Mexican luchadores are the best wrestlers in the world.

What was the hardest you've buried someone leaving? Recently Gilmore took off for SOTBPW, so I had to sap his B+ pop before he left, so I could get some overness for my younger talents and stick the Mexican rival with an overpaid midcarder. Ended up running a few "send off PPVs" for Gilmore where he basically jobbed to most of my under 27 roster as well as RIPW. Ended up dropping him all the way down to a D pop in Mexico. He just signed a 50k contract for 4 years with them. Should teach them never to poach from SWF again.

So far my current casual playthrough has been interesting, I'm hoping to get some interesting rolls for my diary play through though. Against my better judgement I pushed BSS and he's been amazing so far. Any unscripted 10 minute promo is basically a free A* angle for me. Got him all the way between B+ and A pop. He's even improving in the ring, he's like Joe Sexy level right now which I'll take. Also pretty excited about snagging Cam Vessey. I would never have a shot typically at him due to NOTBPW locking him up and offering him more money than Rich would allow but I lucked out with them hitting Cult and his contract expiring right after. They signed him to a PPV contract and I never pounced on a talent so fast. He's already a C pop thanks to the Gilmore tribute show.

I tend to not job out guys if they leave. Generally if I let someone go, I don't want them there for whatever reason. I do lose out on a talent it depends who and what they've done in the save. I'm a big Gilmore fan, so I'd probably let him win his rivalry before he left if it fit my original plans.

I only job out guys if they've been bad towards me or been a problem backstage or anything.

With Gilmore, he's never going to be my #1 guy but he's a solid hand and doesn't upset anyone backstage. Standard rivalry and doing the job on the way out is all I would've asked him to do. Take it on a case by case basis.

But that's the joy of the game, with everyone's different approaches to it. No 2 games in the C-Verse ever end up the same.

I do feel like South of the Border tends to be my biggest problem when booking SWF, as USPW and TCW are easier to poach from and directly tank their pops. Unless SOTBPW begins running more shows in the US, you're probably not going to outbid them on the stars that can work in the US and a majority of their wrestlers aren't even available while many of your top stars can wrestle in Mexico. It's actually decent timing because he was sort of in card limbo with his program with Remo wrapping up.

I only job out guys if they've been bad towards me or been a problem backstage or anything.

With Gilmore, he's never going to be my #1 guy but he's a solid hand and doesn't upset anyone backstage. There's really not preconceived notions on these wrestlers outside of their bios so you can really give it go with your imagination. I feel like the one issue in TEW (which I don't really blame on the devs, it's a part of a text-based management game) is how important pop is, and how important it can be. Using it to build up your own guys is a challenge and a leaving wrestler is usually a good way to build up a star to replace them.

One of the biggest traps early game is to expand into Mexico imo. ots by far the fastest and cheapest way to get another region to National but you risk SOTBPW poaching you hard. Your workers gain major pop pretty quickly in Mexico and soon you'll have guys like Gilmore and Bruce with almost equal pops in Us and Mexico. Eisen won't let you outbid them and you can't poach their stars back until you hit international. I would focus on US pop the first year and a half, then once everyone that can wrestle in Mexico that you want to retain is locked up on long contracts, then invade Mexico with a PPV deal

So the roster is a little lopsided in favour of Thunder but the way I look at it is;

Supreme got the proven Uprising Division full of young stars (Think WCW's cruiserweights) who can put on solid matches constantly. Plus they got the 2 most over guys on the roster; Jack Bruce & Eric Eisen so they can help build new talent. (Jericho, Bulldozer, Allen, Makutsi & Hellion are all in an associated storyline with these 2)

Thunder was a brand new show that only debuted the week after SC36 so needed a bit more star power to give it a boost. As a contrast to that, it got the completely brand new and unproven women's division who's match ratings are going to suck while it gets built up.

I ended up just changing Valiants name when he teamed back up with Rogue, I think it was just a rubbish generic name like "villain" as it was only for 3 months heal run before his contract ran out lol

I plan to run a Face Stable at the start of the game, whose members are:

Marshall Dillon

Jimmy Hernandez

Mikey Lau

Haley Buck {Marshall Dillon's manger}

What I need is a name for this stable?

{Mikey Lau and Jimmy Hernandez are also in a Tag Team called Poetry in Motion}

So I've not quite got into the rhythm of the SWF calendar yet.

I had Valiant beat Remo at TSC in 2016. He held the belt till the next SC. I had him beat Wolf Hawkins there, (you can't have the heel going over at SC) but I had Hawkins beat him at the next PPV.

What I don't have is a big Summer Slam type event for him to drop the belt at. Christmas Clash could work but ideally I'd like to keep that 4 v 4 Survivor Series style.

Was considering tweaking the calendar.

How do people tend to book the SWF world title?

I use the Welcome to the Jungle winner to set up a Money in the Bank type of situation that gives some tension for the rest of the year but in my 5th year of the save, I have only had the title change hands after July once.

When Hell Freezes Over is usually a big show and Awesome Impact and The World is Watching is usually where I set up my champion to be strong going into Supreme Challenge so a good amount of my title changes happen between January and April so that the champ can be established going into the biggest show of the year.. I hold a tournament at Master of Puppets to get the #1 contender for Supreme Challenge.

Looking at it, moving Under Control to November might help the schedule. Let the Games Begin and Christmas Clash both seem more about gimmicks than about the title so having Under Control in there would be a good spot to have a title change, have them face off in a Christmas Clash match and then do the rematch at WHFO.
