MHero nailed it - the company is an open slate at this point.

 

The history of the AWF fascinates me. You have a company that was opened by a rich fanboy and was basically a pretty direct rip off of the WWWE. It took a few years before the AWF started creating its own stars. My perception is that the AWF never really moved away from that WWWE formula until the last few years. I always ran with the thought that Casey Skym added some layers when he had the book.

 

Now, under the new ownership.... you could go any direction. stay with the full WWWE style Sports Entertainment. Go more performance based. Get rid of the Starlets. Look to hire great in ring talents. Dive deeper into an Attitude Era type product.

 

Personally, in my current AWF game, I'm sticking with the Sports Entertainment approach, keeping the Starlets, having things with a bit of an edge but not too much. I don't love coming into a company and drastically changing it, even if this situation would make that completely logical and fit the situation. My thought is that Chief would like what the AWF is but see potential for more. So I will gradually get rid of some of the vets, especially those with negative personalities. They will slowly be replaced with newer signings, to form a second generation of AWF talent, now that the first generation has made it to the top.

-Pauline DiBiase and B.A.D Cop won the main event when DiBiase bribed several members of the crowd to hold Cogsworth back while B.A.D Cop dirty pinned McQueen.

No experience with or knowledge of Lucha Libre, so I don't know the first thing about how to go about booking it, they've just grabbed my interest. The EEP invasion looks like it'd be a lot of fun to book.

<p>I'm just getting into the ThunderVerse. So far, it seems pretty amazing. I've not even started a game yet. Instead, I'm spending time reading over all of the company bios, rosters, worker bios, title histories etc. The amount of detail is just absolutely staggering.</p><p> </p><p>

One question - is there any where I can see an upto date history of the ThunderVerse?</p>

I'd absolutely love an up to date history of the thunder verse if it's out there anywhere. Didn't get chance to really get into this in 2013 but really want to give it a go in 2016 and would love to have as much history as I can get.

I have signed some people to The Club and I am looking to rebrand them, they are under there default gimmicks and im wondering if you guys have any names for them, they are Twinkle who will be in the stable with The Asylum House of Horror graduates when they debut, Michael Anicetti, Cherokee Warrior, Mohan Raja and eventually Cloud James as well as Marshal Law, Judas Washington, Love Freedom who is the leader of a stable with Jezebelle and Tyler Moon that I am calling the Cult of Love and finally Crymedyne, I hope i am not asking for too much.

<p>Fired up a new game, running a promotion in the style of Lucha Underground. </p><p> </p><p>

So far it's going like gangbusters. Having bought my own network, my plan is to run 22-episode seasons with each episode being an hour long. In addition, I've got an hour-long "After Dark" B-show to give my lower card more screen time. </p><p> </p><p>

I'll run a season a year, with the remaining time serving as downtime. Only my top talent with be contracted to long-term written deals, the lesser talent is all hired to season-long written deals instead.</p><p> </p><p>

My stars this season are Wilson Hancock, VIP, Shay Kinsella, Jack America, Hell Cat, Manu Samoa, Evan Kuja, Ghost Rider and Alex Pierce (American Warrior).</p><p> </p><p>

Rudy Single is cast as Darius, my Dario Cueto analogue, while Casey Skym is a prominent non-wrestler basically hired by Darius to scour the world for top talent to bring into the company.</p><p> </p><p>

I have to say it's been a hell of a lot of fun to book the show in the same format at Lucha Underground, with over-the-top and slickly produced angles and then solid wrestling.</p>
