The Mod Squad

Just a heads up, I think this was something that carried over from the previous iteration as converting mods from 2010 to 2013 caused all companies to have at least Low Level drug testing. That seems to have carried over into this iteration. You might want to sort that out as it can drain money from a company.

AWA didn't start with any testing and the active UK/Europe promotions shouldn't have any many. I suppose it depends which promotion it is.

Just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge the entire Mod Squad team, who put a ton of work into this and who demonstrated rather impressive teamwork as a whole. The thoroughness and attention to detail that Genadi always carries was brought forward by the whole team. From someone who is part of the Squad who got to see the magic happen, it was and remains rather impressive.

<p>I was trying to remember if Ted DiBiase was a face in the UWF during this time period, and according to this Youtube video's title, he apparently was:</p><p> </p><p>

Beyond that Turner didn't want to give Vince time on that television station. Vince asked and was rejected. So Vince had to buy Georgia's promotion from the Briscoes and then use that time slot for his show and thats how he got on the air.</p>

<p>I also think that the way debt works in TEW16 has moved JCP's "death date" into the future a bit - the financial narratives hit, but the company keeps shambling along because you can still run for like a year and a half with a negative balance now.</p><p> </p><p>

So JCP (with the WCW TV show) and WCW exist at the same time for a couple years before JCP finally go down. This denies WCW access to the top guys on that roster, which really sets them back.</p>

Was just pointing out that as far as the mod goes, Time Warner shouldn't be in the mix with Turner as that didn't happen until years later and that it's not completely unrealistic for WWF to end up with a show on TBS/Turner.</p>

Just browsing through the 1987 mod I can offer a few corrections on the WWC roster.

- El Nene, La Tigresa and Victor Rodriguez(The Bodyguard)should not be in the roster as they all debuted in the 90's. Victor however, should have a strong friendship with Chicky Starr as he was one of Starr's bodyguards at this point in time when he had so much heat in his feud with Invader that WWC had to hire him 24/7 protection. El Nene wouldn't actually debut until 94-95 and he was close to or slightly over 40 years old at the time. I think Tigresa debuted around 91-92.

- Ricky Santana should be on the WWC roster as well as a lower midcard babyface.

- Cuban Assassin also needs to be in the WWC roster and as a tag team with Fidel Sierra as the Cuban Assassins and they where big heels. I think Cuban Assassin was using the name Dave Sierra in WWC.

- Also I think Keiji Mutoh was working for WWC as Super Ninja at the time. Also Kendo Nagasaki and Mr. Pogo where working for WWC as Ninja Express Tag Team.

- Finally, Abdullah the Butcher NEEDS to be on the WWC Roster ASAP. I am also pretty sure Ox Baker worked WWC in 1987.

So wait, my JCP game is gonna get ate up by narratives about mistakes that I don't make meant to put me out of business to make way for a WCW that I don't run?

Wow, I just lost all interest in that save.

No not at all. They're user specific narratives, if you're playing as JCP the JCP narratives won't happen.

Great feedback thank you :)

Some of those little additions like Mutoh being in WWC were purposefully ommitted.... Sometimes a few workers need to be trimmed from rosters and the worker with the shortest rarest run in said company is usually the one removed.

How's the Superfly Effect mod looking? Release today? :3

Sorry it was supposed to be.

We're bringing TGA up to Version 2.0 with a 100% complete pic pack all missing pics have been found and are in the assigning stages. Superfly is delayed a day or two while we work on this.

Thank you for your patience :)

<p>Awesome mod.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

I'm looking for advice on how I should play my save. Basically I want to play as WCW from their inception. Should I start as JCP and just change my name when i get to nov 88, eliminating the other WCW from the database? Or perhaps I play as a watcher until jcp closes and then take over WCW after? What happens to the NWA world title when JCP goes under, is there a way to get those belts back to the NWA?</p>

<p>Funny you should mention that mc90 <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> We are literally discussing and test simming right now in regards to the JCP WCW dynamic. We're working on an easy path for both JCP play throughs and other company play throughs. The way takeovers work in '16 has changed from '13 so hopefully we'll have the balance right for V2.0 <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

Right now if you're playing as JCP and don't want to compete with WCW.... I would edit WCW to crash them, buy them out and you own their titles.</p><p> </p><p>

Or if you're playing as head booker not owner, apply for head booker of WCW. Turner has no booking stat he will always look to hire. Then Raid JCP with Ted's billions and book every match a Dusty finish <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
