Thunder opens with Ric Flair in the ring with Mark Jindrak. Flair says he knows that WCW New Blood Rising is just days away and he can't wait to get his hands on Jeff Jarrett, but he knows a lot more is on the line. Flair says he hopes to see Scott Steiner removed of his title and the Tag Team Championships ripped from the hands of Totally buffed. He does however say the most personal victory for him will be seeing Mark Jindrak bring back the gold and wipe the smug look off the face of the Elite Era. With that Jarrett makes his way onto the stage with WCW TV Champion Rick Steiner in tow. Jarrett says Flair is just bitter because he was kicked out of the Elite for not being good enough. Jarrett says the problem with WCW is guys like Flair, Sting, Nash have all tarnished the name of it forever. Jarrett says he would love to take over WCW forever and rebrand as something catchy, like, Elite Championship Wrestling, forever wiping has beens from sullying it's history books. Flair then cuts him off and challenges him to come to the ring, Jarrett then says why don't they make things interesting. Jarrett calls out a referee and challenges Flair and Jindrak to a tag match, which Flair and Jindrak happily accept.

Ric Flair and Mark Jindrak vs Jeff Jarrett and Rick Steiner

As the match gets underway, it's Flair who is dominating the match. It's not long however until the tables turn and Flair is singled out. Flair managed to tag out to Jindrak but not all is well as As Jarrett Distracts the referee in the ring, while Steiner takes Flair outside and knocks him out with his fists wrapped in dog chains. Jindrak is then left to battle the rest of the match alone as Flair is unconscious at ringside. Jindrak puts up a good fight but is eventually beaten by a “Stroke” from Jeff Jarrett

Walking through the backstage area after the match, Jarrett and Steiner are celebrating when they bump into Mike Sanders. Sanders congratulates them and says he's a huge fan of everything that Jarrett is doing for WCW. Sanders asks Jarrett to give him a chance to be among the Elite. Jarrett says nobody “Asks” to join the Elite Era, but tells him to get his ring gear on and get to the ring so he can prove if he has what it takes by taking down a thorn in his side.

Both men battle it out in a decent match, Storm remains the stronger of the two throughout but Sanders proved he can hang with the big boys of WCW. the ending however comes as no surprise as Storm picks up the win, heading into this Sunday's WCW World Heavyweight Championship match inside 6 Ways to Hell.

A video airs covering the history of Stings WCW career. Sting also provides the voice over as he talks through his journey, before the video reaches a moment where Sting himself appears in front of a darkly lit sign of WCW New Blood Rising. Sting says he faced many challenges in his career but the threat of the Elite Era takes him back to his battle with the nWo. Sting says he overcame them and now he must do the same again as he has done before. With that, Sting disappears and the faces of Kanyon and Mike Awesome appear and fade to black.

Dustin then drags Steiner to the ring where they battle in a heavy handed and brutal slugfest of a match. The effects of the early assault by Dustin slowly wears off for Steiner as he begins to mount an offence. Both men battle had but it's Dustin who falls short, as he becomes the victim of a devastating Screwdriver that allows Steiner to pick up the 3 count and head into WCW New Blood Rising with some momentum.

First things first....Awesome NBR poster, far better than anything WCW would have actually put out

6 Ways to Hell

WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner © vs Booker T vs Diamond Dallas Page vs Kevin Nash vs Lance Storm vs Dustin Rhodes

This match is set up to ensure we have a new champion.....the deck is so stacked against the champion it's unreal.....the champion literally just got his ass handed to him on Thunder.....but......I bloody love Scott Steiner so I'm pulling for him.....come on Scotty, you can do it

Street Fight

Ric Flair vs Jeff Jarrett

I actually think there's a good chance that Jarrett is wining this, but I'm picking Naitch.....this may be New Blood Rising, but the oldest ride in the park still has the longest line

WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Sting © vs Kanyon vs Mike Awesome

Torn on this.....again, it's NEW Blood Rising, so you know, some new blood should win.....and I'd like to see Awesome win, but with that being said, Awesome and Kanyon are coexisting currently, maybe that all changes at the ppv and Sting capitalises on some in fighting

WCW World Tag Team Championships

Totally Buffed © vs The Natural Born Thrillers

Some new blood has got to win somewhere right? Plus the EE is winning the main event, they can afford this loss

WCW Television Championship

Rick Steiner © vs Mark Jindrak

See above

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Rey Mysterio © vs Chavo Guerrero

Chavo has been working towards this win

Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson vs Shawn Stasiak and Stacy Keibler

Even the former Miss Hancock cant make me care about Shawn Stasiak

A: Thanks, i guess saying its better than an original WCW poster isn't that difficult :p. They had some shockers. Its the first poster of many... Guess its a good way to help put over the Main Event :D

B: The Deck is stacked and we could see a New Champion... as the Poster says... theres 6 Ways to Hell and only ONE! way back ;)

C: I guess im not the only one who didnt like Stasiak/Meat... Maybe the future booking will somehow make you see him differently. Wont give anything away :p

Awesome dynasty, those graphics are unreal. If only I had the time to invest in graphics for my dynasty report lol

Thanks, means a lot :D. The graphics are honestly the easy part, Writing a damn diary is hard. How Historian and others manage to pump out the volume of content that they do, is beyond me :D

I heard once that Mark Jindrak was supposed to be in Evolution, but they replaced him with Batista. Not sure of the reasoning, but it worked out okay in the end. I think if Jindrak HAD have been in Evolution, he and Randy Orton could have formed an exceptional tag team! They could even be revisiting the team now in WWE.

I’ve been reading through this over time and I love what you’ve done with it. Really great writing and great storytelling, and I’m a real sucker for layouts etc as you may know, and yours is really clean. Really enjoying this, and it’s easy to see why you’re one of the top writers on the board.

WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Sting © vs Kanyon vs Mike Awesome

Kanyon and Mike Awesome make their way to the ring together and await the arrival of Sting. When Stings music hits, the live crowd erupts. During the match, Kanyon and Awesome pick apart Sting together, not trying to take each other down. Sting often overcomes the offence and takes down both with a flurry of blows and moves. No matter how much offence the pair of Kanyon and Awesome put to Sting, he just won't stay down for the 3. In the closing of the match, Awesome hits an Awesome Bomb on Sting, only to turn around and get kit with a kick from Kanyon, resulting in Kanyon hitting the Flatliner on Awesome and pinning him to the mat for the 3, making him the new Champion.

Winner: Kanyon

Backstage Flair is with his fellow Nu-Horsemen talking about the stakes tonight. Flair says nothing is a given to anyone here, but so long as we stick together, they can take apart the Elite Era one by one. Flair then gives the last match an example of how low the Elite Era will sink to win, stating they are not like them, that family matters. Flair then says both Storm and Jindrak have big challenges tonight and it's on them to take themselves to the limits and show the world why they are true to the Horsemen name.

In an impromptu match in the cruiserweight division, Shane Helms picks up a convincing victory over Wright as he looks set to climb the latter again and regain his Cruiserweight Championship. Helms looks Strong but “Different” in the match. Showing an edgier side to himself.

Backstage in the office of Jeff Jarrett, Kanyon and Awesome are arguing in front of him at his desk. Jarrett tells them both to shut up. Jarrett then says the plan worked well, which leads Awesome to ask “What Plan” before Kanyon hits him in the back of the head with his newly won WCW United States Heavyweight Championship Belt. Jarrett then joins in on the stomping of Awesome on the ground, before they both drag him out of his office, place him inside a dumpster and roll him out of the area and into the parking lot. Jarrett then turns to Kanyon and says “Welcome to the Elite” as both men shake hands and hug it out.

WCW World Tag Team Championships

Totally Buffed © vs Natural Born Thrillers

Both teams confidently make their ways to the ring and prepare for battle. In what has been a heated rivalry for the past few months, both teams waste little time in getting their hands on each other. The battle between the two teams is evidently heated throughout as there's not a moment of hesitation from either team to take the other down. Throughout the battle is even with no team looking the weaker team or marked as a loser. The end of the match comes when a Blockbuster from Bagwell catches Palumbo off guard and allows him to get the 3 count, with the Tag champs quickly hightailing it after the victory.

WCW Television Championship

Rick Steiner © vs Mark Jindrak

Jindrak is first to the ring and looks extremely hyped and pumped as he runs the ropes in anticipation for the chance to prove himself. As Rick makes his way to the ring, belt around his waist and a dog collar and chain around his neck, both men lock eyes as it becomes a stare down and a slow walk down the ramp. For a moment some might question is Steiner was taken back by the physical specimen that is Jindrak. As Stiner steps into the ring, Jindrak wastes no time in going in for the assault, an obvious tactic taught to him by the dirtiest player in the game and mentor Ric Flair. Both men put up a good fight, Jindrak looks superior to Steiner when it comes to speed and athleticism, getting the crowd on his side throughout. It's Steiner however that ultimately uses the best first tactics in the match, distracting the referee by taking off a turnbuckle pad, and while he attempts to reattach it. Steiner goes to the corner, wraps his wrist in his dog chain and hits Jindrak straight between the eyes. Steiner then throws it to ringside, grabs the referees attention and goes for the pinfall and retains the title with cowardly tactics.

Backstage Sting is with Gene Okerlund. Gene asks what's next for him after losing. Sting tells Gene that he carried the WCW United States Heavyweight Championship with pride, and to see who now has the belt, makes him sick. Sting says he will get his title back but points out that right now there are more pressing matters in WCW and that's the threat of the Elite Era ruling the place.

Backstage in the hallway, AJ Styles and Chris Candido of the Nu-Horsemen are stood around talking, when out of nowhere comes a lot of noise followed by two charging tag team champions, straight for Styles and Candidio. Bagwell and Luger flatten Styles and Candido, before laying a beat down on the two of them, Marching them round the corridors, slapping them head and chest first into every object they can find. The assault is only stopped when Ric Flair can been seen running toward them with officials. That's when they both retreat and leave Styles and Candido in a heap on the floor.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Rey Mysterio © vs Chavo Guerrero Jr

Chavo comes to the ring looking smug as always, before the pop of the crowd for arguably the best cruiserweight of all time. Mysterio and Guerrero have met many times before, but tonight the match comes with an added tension as the Streak for the Elite Era hasn't been broken yet and all eyes are on Mysterio to retain and put the brakes on the Elite Era steamrolling the entire PPV. Chavo uses his usual underhand tactics in the match, but none prove to be the downfall of Mysterio as he uses the crowd behind him to continuously outsmart and maneuver Guerrero. In a shocker of events, the newly crowned WCW US Champion shows up at ringside long enough to allow Chavo to gain an advantage and take down Mysterio. Kanyon then gets the Cruiserweight championship in his hands along with the US title. Kanyon slided the Cruiserweight belt into the ring, distracting the referee while he picks it up to remove it. In that time Kanyon slides in his US belt, which Chavo uses to hit Mysterio in the back of the head. Chavo then goes for the cover and wins the WCW Cruiserweight Championship in a huge upset.

Street Fight

Ric Flair vs Jeff Jarrett

In a very heated rivalry which stretches back to the start of the year, the Co-Presidents of WCW finaly have that chance to go 1 on 1 in a match with no rules, where weapons are allowed and carnage is encouraged. Flair is first out to the ring carrying a steel chair in his hands the whole way down the ramp. Flair then gets into the ring, sets up the chair and awaits the arrival of Jeff Jarrett. Jarrett then comes out to the loudest reaction of the night, with the crowd booing him out of the arena. Jarrett makes his way to the ring without a weapon in hand, but pick up a 2x4 from the ringside selection of weapons placed for this match. Jarrett then tried to rush into the ring and get the better of Flair but gets caught as the bell sounds. The match goes on to be a brutal showing of hatred between the two, both showing no mercy as they are both busted wide open and are showing marks all over their bodys from the weapons used. Towards the end of the match, Flair is in complete control and begins to toy with Jarrett, whipping him with a strap from ringside. Just as the match looks to be going Flairs way, Music Hits…

Jarrett says they have to put “The Plan” into action and make sure that tonight goes down as the greatest night in the Elite Era’s history. Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson vs Shawn Stasiak and Stacy Keibler

The penultimate match of the night is one of the most bizarre rivalries in recent memory as both Wilson and Keibler have been at each other's throats for weeks. Dragging in their partners over the weeks has led to both of them now being involved in a mixed tag match to end it all. The match starts with both women in the ring, as their partners decide to step back and let them fight it out. After a few minutes of battling, Stasiak begins to join in by holding the hair of Wilson in the corner. This infuriates Kidman who tries to interject. After battling back, Wilson eventually makes the tag, along with Keibler. Kidman then goes crazy on Stasiak. Kitting him with a wall of offence before making it to the top rope and hitting the Shoot Star Press for a victory.

6 Ways To Hell

WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner © vs Booker T vs Diamond Dallas Page vs Kevin Nash vs Lance Storm vs Dustin Rhodes

As the tension builds, the 6 Ways to Hell structure is lowered. Standing 20ft (over 6m) it surrounds the ringside area. The ring announcer then reads out the rules of the match, that to win you must climb the cage and have both feet hit the floor.

With that the entrances start one by one…

Scott Steiner is last to the ring and has to face all 5 men, who are standing side by side with each other in the centre of the ring. As soon as he walks through the door, the bell rings and he immediately begins to climb the cage. All 5 men rush and drag him off the cage and slam him hard to the floor. The next 8-10 minutes is a brutal handicap match style beat down as all 5 challengers pick apart the champion until there is nothing left but a pile of blood, skin and bone in the corner of the cell, unable to move from an assault not seen before on WCW TV. Once Steiner is neutralised, the 5 challengers proceed to battle each other to secure the gold. Everyone holds their own, But the sheer size of Nash gives him the early advantage. However is Dustin who makes the first attempt of escaping. It's a very open battle with moments where the crowd don't know which way the match is going to go. The whole time Steiner is out cold in the corner and doesn't move at all. After a hefty battle between all 5, they all make it to the top of the Cage, nearest the ramp. While they all battle on top of the cage, the Music hits and…

Out comes the entire Elite Era. Jarrett, Rick Steiner, Lex Luger, Buff Bagwell, Chyner, Kanyon and Chavo all come running down the ramp and begin the climb the cage. One by one they begins to knock the challengers off the top of the cage and back down towards the ringside area. Lance Storm is a the last to hold on, but once the other 4 have been sent back in, he's left 7v1 on the top and stands no chance. The Elite Era then all make their way over the top and into the structure. The begin to pull out weapons from under the ring and begin to swing them in the direction or the challengers. Chyner and Jarrett then break away from the assault group and go to the Corner where Steiner still hasn't moved. They help him to his feet then help to assist him slowly up the cage, painfully slow, taking his weight the whole way. After what seems like forever, they get him over and down to the floor outside, where the bell rings and the announcer declares him the winner and Still Champion, to a chorus of boos and flying projectiles from the live crowd.

Following the match, the cage begins to lift as referees and backstage staff begin to help Nash, Booker, DDP, Storm and Rhodes to the back. The Elite Era then step into the ring, all together, holding Scott Steiner up. Standing side by side, they all raise their arms in a sign of strength and unity. The whole way through, the live crowd is booing and throwing drinks containers at them. Then suddenly, out of nowhere, music hits and the crowd erupts…

<details> <summary>SPOILER</summary>

http://homeofprowrestling.com/MyTEWDiarys/WCW%202001/Roster/RosterNEW01/goldberg.jpg

Pyro’s begin as we see Goldberg walk through the golden glow and haze on the stage. Goldberg wastes no time in running towards the ring, where he gets Chavo and Kanyon to meet him, both face the spear on the ramp. Goldberg then smirks as he challenges one of the 6 still in the ring to come out. They send out Bagwell who immediately gets speared, followed by Luger who faces the same fate. Goldberg then walks closer to the ring and steps onto the apron, he slowly steps into the ring where the other members of the Elite Era rush to beat him down. After getting him to one knee, Goldberg fights back and ends up hitting everyone with a spear except Jarrett who hightails it from the ring and is shown walking backwards up the ramp. Goldberg however doesn't want to miss out and WCW New Blood Rising goes off the air with Goldberg chasing Jarrett up the ramp and to the back.

WCW New Blood Rising Prediction Card

6 Ways to Hell

WCW World Heavyweight Championship

Scott Steiner © vs Booker T vs Diamond Dallas Page vs Kevin Nash vs Lance Storm vs Dustin Rhodes

Come on, Big Poppa Pump!

Street Fight

Ric Flair vs Jeff Jarrett

The right sort of atmosphere for shenanigans.

WCW United States Heavyweight Championship

Sting © vs Kanyon vs Mike Awesome

Sting is one of my all-time favourites, but I know Kanyon almost always gets pushed in WCW saves, so...

WCW World Tag Team Championships

Totally Buffed © vs The Natural Born Thrillers

Hopefully Lex takes the fall.

WCW Television Championship

Rick Steiner © vs Mark Jindrak

Lots of losses for the Elite Era, building to the last two matches.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Rey Mysterio © vs Chavo Guerrero

Coin flip.

Billy Kidman and Torrie Wilson vs Shawn Stasiak and Stacy Keibler

Really don't care, but as you're making me pick... the better wrestler and the hotter girl! :p

Still no 100% record aha! Gotcha all. A clean sweep for the Elite Era, the war is beginning. I'm already over a month ahead and almost spoiled the Fall Brawl PPV by posting an incorrect new article... Quickly redacted :D.

So there were a few surprises at New Blood Rising, the Fall Brawl PPV will have a few shockers too. Can't say no more.

I'll update the presiction wall results ASAP. See who is dave meltzering my results :D

As WCW Nitro comes onto the air, all 8 Members of the Elite Era are standing in the ring, covered in all the gold. Jeff Jarrett takes to the Microphone and says that last night was a complete success. Jarrett says that everybody bet against them and once again they proved the world was full of idiots. Jarrett then asks Chavo to step forward, Jarrett congratulates him on bringing home the Cruiserweight Championship and welcomes him into the Elite Era family. Jarrett then calls forward Kanyon, Jarrett says that he couldn't be more proud of what he did last night. Jarrett thanks Kanyon for coming up with the plan and says Mike Awesome was just not smart enough to join the Elite. Jarrett then says he wishes Awesome best on finding a new job outside of WCW. With that, Jarrett then turns his attention to the Tag Team and TV Champions. Jarrett says they did a great job defending last night. Jarrett says they make him and the legacy of those championships proud. Jarrett then welcomes Chyner to the Elite Era, he asks her to step forward, where they both embrace. Jarrett says they may have had their differences in the past, but thy both recognise each other as the greatest athletes. Jarrett points out that the 10th wonder of the world is the fact the WWF didn't recognise Chyners true potential, stating “What's their loss, is out gain”. That's when Jarrett turns his attentions to last night and talks about Steiner. Jarrett says Steiner was unfairly treated walking into New Blood Rising and as “Good Men” they couldn't stand by and let the match be “Unjust”. Everyone then warmly taps Steiner on the back and Jarrett says they may have helped even the field and saves the title from disgrace, but that b*****d Goldberg had to show up and spoil the big moment. Steiner then shouts in the background that they got rid of his a** and he should know his place. Jarrett then says Goldberg isn't here to night (which is met by booing) as he is currently with state police for trespassing last night. Jarrett then tells the crowd to shut up and forget about Goldberg because he’s never going to wrestle in WCW again while Jarrett and the Elite Era has anything to do with it. Jarrett then points to someone at ringside, the arena then fills with confetti as Jarrett says, “You deserve it, you deserve it all”. The crowd boo’s throughout, which causes Bagwell to take the mic and instruct his fellow elite members “Let's take the party backstage where people can appreciate it”

Totally Buffed vs The Insiders

Straight after the commercial break, Bagwell and Luger make their way back to ringside, removing their suit jackets and shirts on the way to the ring. Their challengers of the Insiders then make a beeline for the ring, both still obviously furious from last night when they were screwed in the 6 Ways to Hell Main Event. Nash and Page waste no time in beating down the tag champs. In a sign of pure rage, Nash boots Bagwell so hard in the face, that he busts him wide open (causing a minor bruised orbital bone). The match gets back to some formality, but the two former world champions prove too much for the tag champs as Nash picks up the victory over Luger after a Jackknife Powerbomb.

Winner: Kevin Nash

A Furious Ric Flair is waiting for us after we come back from commercial. Flair is in the ring going crazy. Flair says he is sick and tired of dealing with the Elite Era, Flair says last night was supposed to be one on one but that B**** (which causes a gasp form the audience) poked her nose into my business. Flair then calls out Chyner who doesn't show up. An irate Flair then takes off his jacket and starts stopping on it, before dropping a few elbows. That's when the music of Chyner hits. She walks out onto the stage and stands there with her arms crossed staring at Flair. Flair tells her to get to the ring as he doesn't mind beating up a woman. Chyner Smirks at the top of the ramp before turning and going straight to the back. An even angrier Flair picks up his jacket and says “You can't get away that easy” before running up the ramp.

Backstage Shawn Stasiak is seen knocking on the door of Jeff Jarrett. After entering, Stasiak wastes no time in reminding Jarrett about how they have been “friends” for years and he’s looking to step up and prove himself. Jarrett says that's all great but last night he lost to Billy Kidman and that doesn't sound like a good way to start “Proving himself”. Stasiak tells Jarrett that he will do anything for a chance to shine and be alongside the true stars in WCW, saying that their talent can rub off on him. Jarrett then emplores him to stop going on and says if he want in, he has to be the best and prove he has what it takes. Stasiak goes to say he has what it takes, but Jarrett cuts him off. Jarrett says to go away, think over what he's said and “Prove himself” to the Elite Era and he may just get a shot. An enthusiastic Stasiak thanks Jarrett before leaving.

Backstage Sean O’Haire and Chuck Palumbo are seen chatting backstage in the corridor, when out of nowhere is a loud charging scream followed by Shawn Stasiak running into view. Obviously trying to make his mark and try to prove his worth to the Elite Era, he charges towards the Natural Born Thrillers. Sadly for Stasiak the attack doesn't even begin as Palumbo sees him coming and catches him with a superkick and lays him out on the ground. O’Haire and Palumbo begin laughing as they pick up their backs and walk off laughing about the whole thing

Chyner vs Big Vito

As the match begins, Chyner is waiting in the ring ready for a fight. Out walks Big Vito of the Mamalukes who laughs as he makes his way to the ring. Vito steps into the ring and puts his hand on Chyners wait and can be heard talking down to Chyner about being a woman in a mans ring. Chyner then grips the wrist of the hand on her shoulder and begins to twist it. The smile is wiped of Vito’s face as the pulls him in for a brutal clothesline. Picking him back up, Chyner hits him with a Chynerbomb and goes for the cover, but lifts his head off the mat before the 3 count. Chyner then verbally abuses him, while cradling his head. She then lifts him up and Chynerbombs him once more before picking up the victory and leaving Vito looking worse for where on the mat.

Winner: Chyner

Backstage and Ric Flair is sat in a room with all the members of the Nu-Horsemen. They are all looking somber and beaten with their heads in their hands. Flair says that the war is now on, the battle last night may have gone to those snakes, but the war is still theirs to win. Storm interrupts and asks what Flair has in mind next. Flair tells him that they can't do it alone and that going forward, they need to find those they can trust. Flair says that Jarrett is the puppet master behind it all and if they can chop off the hand, the whole thing falls apart. Styles then says he is always onboard and says now that Chavo Guerrero is the Cruiserweight Champion, maybe he and Candido can make it their mission. Flair tells them that it's a good idea, but right now they should leave every option on the table and come up with a master plan. That's when the segment ends with Jindrak saying “lets strip them of their gold and their livelihood”.

Eric Bischoff walks out to the ring with a microphone in hand, flanked by security and holding a briefcase in his hand. Bischoff wastes no time in addressing the fall out from last night and why he is back tonight. Bischoff says that the Elite Era has been running things for far too long and that's got to stop, Bischoff says he has brought papers with him tonight that have been looked at by his and WCW’s lawyers. Bischoff says that Jarrett's position is almost watertight and he can't do anything about it, however one clause that he found was that although he can't be “Stripped” of his position, there is nothing that says he can't “Lose” the position. That's when Jarrett comes to the stage with Scott Steiner and Midajah. Jarrett tells Bischoff to just go home and do nothing like he has been for weeks. Jarrett points out that he has been running the show just fine, even pointing out that thanks to him, the ratings are on the up. Bischoff immediately dismisses him and says that the hard work of the whole roster has helped the rating and that his “Scumbag group” has just put off even more viewers and investors. Jarrett goes to talk but Bischoff tells the sound truck to cut them off. An angry Jarrett and Steiner go to walk to the ring, but Bischoff tells them to wait there because he has something they might want to hear. Bischoff says that last night the Whole of the Elite Era couldn't wait to get involved and step into the steel cell, well Bischoff has a great opportunity for them. This year, Fall Brawl is going back to it's tradition of hosting WAR GAMES!. Jarrett and Steiner look concerned. Bischoff says he is sick of seeing the Elite Era come out on top, so this time he's going to get Jarrett, Rick and Scott Steiner , Bagwell and Luger inside the War Games. However this time everything will be on the line. Bischoff says he will put together a team that will take them down and strip them of something they hold dear. Bischoff says every title will be on the line, Whoever gets pinned loses their title and if Jarrett gets pinned, he relinquished his power as President to who ever defeats him. Jarrett and Steiner look furious as they just hurl abuse at Bischoff in the ring. But Bischoff isn't done. Bischoff says that if Jarrett loses, he will take great pleasure in firing every member of the Elite Era and stripping them all of their championships, and there wouldn't be a thing they could do to stop him. Jarrett and Steiner then head towards the back, but not before Steiner flips off Bischoff in the ring.

Stacy Keibler walks in and tries to console him as he talks about needing that one big shot to make everyone proud. Stacy tells him there's always next week and that maybe he should plan a little better and not try to take on too much at once.

WCW Cruiserweight Championship

Chavo Guerrero Jr © vs Rey Mysterio

In a rematch from last night, Chavo is now making his first defence as champion, against the former champion, Mysterio. The match doesn't disappoint and Mysterio gets a lot of support from the live crowd. Just when it looks like Mysterio is about to prevail, a man who hasn't been seen in WCW for some time runs through the crowd, jumps the rail, gets onto the apron and while Mysterio has his back to him, he pulls off Mysterio's mask and runs up the ramp with it. A shocked Mysterio then falls victim to a roll up as the Returning Vampiro uncontrollable laughs on the ramp, before dropping the mask and rubbing his foot into it.

Mikey Tenay catches Vampiro as he walks through the backstage area and questions what he just did. Vampiro cuts a nonsensical promo about how he doesn't like when people hide behind a facade, a mask that hides their inner darkness. Vampiro says his face is painted with the emotions of his happiness and he wants to show Mysterio the way forward isn't to hide his sinister self. A shaken Tenay thanks him and is heard saying “that man needs a doctor” as Vampiro walks out of ear shot.

Bischoff says he needs Sting to head up the WCW team in War Games. Bischoff says he will let Sting pick his team as he has full faith in him, but points out it's a big deal for him and the future of WCW. Sting immediately says he would do it and that there's not a moment of doubt in his mind about it. Sting shakes the hand of Bischoff as Mr Bischoff wishes him luck

Bischoff seems both stressed and concerned as he tells the person on the other end of the line to “Hold in there” and that “things will change”. As the call ends, Bischoff is seen taken a big breath and falls backwards, sinking into his chair looking shaken.

Ric Flair is seen walking towards his car with his bags when from behind a door comes the 9th Wonder of the World Chyner. Both lock eyes for a brief second before Flair drops everything. It's too late to get in the first blow, as Chyner gets the advantage straight away. Dropping to her knees and playing the dirtiest player in the game, at his own game, she gives him a low blow. She then stands back up, kicks his back over and on top of him before telling him to stay away from Jeff or next time she won't be so nice.

Booker T vs Rick Steiner

In a refreshing change to events of late, tonight's main event goes bell to bell without any outside interference and is just a battle of body and mind between the two sides of an ever growing war in WCW. Rick Steiner looks great in the match and battles evenly on every level with Booker. The match only ends after a hard fought match when booker manages to hit a Bookend and followed it up with an Axe kick for good measure.

Winner: Booker T

Immediately after the match, Scott Steiner, Jarrett, Bagwell and Luger all run to the ring and start to attack Booker T. Thats when one by one the WCW locker room comes to the ring starting with the team captain of the WCW War Games Team Sting. Although he manages to fight them off, the numbers begin to prove too much, thats when the Insiders Nash and Page make a beeline for the ring and help to slowly ease the numbers. Booker T then storms the ring and helps with the saving of the guard. The final man to rush to the ring is Dustin Rhodes who comes equipped with a belt that he starts lashing across the backs of the Elite Era. In the end, all 5 members of the Elite Era are left to hightail it up the ramp as what seems like the 5 mean of team WCW stand tall in the ring after laying a beat down on the Elite Era.

Awesome stuff! Looking forward to War Games! Just one question: how did you get Goldberg available so soon? I'm guessing editor, but just thought I'd ask in case there was some trick you did... :)

He was always under contract, however he has been injured and recovering from shoulder surgery. His injury allows him to still appear but not wrestle. He is due to be cleared to wrestle pretty soon :)

He actually becomes available in like September 2002.

Yeah, this is why I was asking how Togg got him in August 2001 :p
