Who Survives?: Owen, Yoko</p><p>

Comments: <em>I will say that I'm only picking the heels to win based on the match stipulation....I think 1995, going into 1996 WWF needs Cornette much more than it needs Gorilla Monsoon....hell, anyone could be the commissioner, it doesn't really matter who.....and for that reason I'm going with CC to win the night....not that Razor or HBK will be happy about it</em></p><p> </p><p>

Diesel’s Destroyers (“Big Daddy Cool” Diesel, Ahmed Johnson, & The Smoking Gunns) vs. The Million Dollar Corporation (Sycho Sid, Kama, King Kong Bundy, & ???) (w/ Ted DiBiase)

Which match opens the show?: Shooters and Royalty

I still think Razor was the mystery attacker.

<p>Camp Cornette - <em>My guess would be that perhaps Gorilla is bringing down segments due to not being very over? The only reason I could see Camp Cornette disbanding is if you intend on REALLY boosting up the M$C to a viable threat, but at this point I think you're better off sticking with Corny.</em></p><p>

Gorilla's: Undertaker</p><p>

Cornette's: Vader</p><p>

Survivor: Bulldog and ???</p><p> </p><p>

Diesel's Destroyers - <em>Like others said, I can't see two big heel wins coming, so Diesel's team takes this one.</em></p><p>

Crown Jewel: Steve Austin/Ringmaster</p><p>

Survivor: Diesel and Ahmed</p><p> </p><p>

Sharpshooters - <em>Bret picks up a big win to clear his plate before taking on Razor.</em></p><p>

???: Roddy Piper</p><p>

Survivor: Bret</p><p> </p><p>

Starlets - <em>This is a good match to hype up the new girls and set yourself up a challenger for the title.</em></p><p>

Survivor: Luna and Ivory</p><p> </p><p>

All Class - <em>These guys could use a nice win to move some of them into respective title contentions.</em></p><p>

Survivor: Douglas and Skip</p><p> </p><p>

Goldust</p><p> </p><p>

MOTN: Gorilla's vs. Cornette's - <em>Tough one to call when so many teams have a few lame players on them, but this one seems to have the most talent going on.</em></p><p>

Crown Jewel: Steve Austin, making a big debut</p><p>

Swept Team: Nah</p><p>

Changed Team: Since a lot of the teams aren't fully constructed anyways, then I'll say maybe Alundra's team?</p><p>

Opener: Southern vs. Class</p>

Godwinn, and finally Henry O. Godwinn. Skip, Bully DeMott and Dean Douglas survive.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Our first match of the night sees the cartoony teacher Dean Douglas, schoolyard punk Bully Demott, bodybuilder Skip and geriatric Bob Backlund clash with cartoony southerns The Godwinns and newcomers Spike and Bubba Dudley. These men were entrusted to get folks excited through some quick Survivor Series action, with quick tags and simple eliminators highlighting this match. Little Spike Dudley tried his hardest to make a big impression for the WWF audience, but met his demise early in the action after getting squashed by a Moonsault from Bully Demott. All was not lost for the babyfaces early, as a big Dusty Rhodes inspired elbow from Bubba knocked Bob silly enough for the “HOG” to slip in a nail a Slop Drop for the elimination! That was all for the babyfaces in this one, as outside of a few comeback spots, the heels swept the rest of the way: Bully’s moonsault took care of the “PIG”, Dean scored an academic rollup on Bubba, and Dean nailed a Belly to Belly suplex to finish off the Southern Connection.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> SUNNY doesn’t need an interviewer to hype up her girls! In a pre-recorded segment, Sunny boasts that her girls are too much for the Trailblazers to handle, and she can’t wait to see ALUNDRA cry when her team loses!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C-</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> DOK HENDRIX stands outside of Camp Cornette’s locker room with a microphone, as Jim Cornette stands in front of his clients THE BRITISH BULLDOG, JEFF JARRETT, OWEN HART and YOKOZUNA! Cornette says that tonight is in the night! He specifically curated this team to destroy whatever lambs Monsoon brings to the slaughter, and promises his boys will deliver! Cornette sarcastically wishes for Gorilla to enjoy his last night in charge, before cutting the interview short so his boys can focus. Dok is about to send us back to the ring, but we can faintly hear Cornette in the background shout “you ready, big man?” to someone in his locker room. Who is it?</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: B</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">Match 2: In an abysmal match, The Trailblazers defeated Sunny’s Starlets in a Survivor Series match in 9:45; Tori was eliminated first, then Ivory, then Bertha Faye, then Miss Texas, then Reggie Bennett, and finally Luna Vachon. Alundra Blayze and The Fabolous Moolah survive. </span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Lots of new faces in this contest as WWF Women’s Champion Alundra Blayze fields her team against the loudmouth diva Sunny’s selections, but they mostly fail to make a great impression on the WWF audience. Fresh blood Tori tried to out wrestle the bigger Reggie Bennett, but was pinned after an impressive stroke of power from the strong woman. The hokie heel antics of Ivory couldn’t help her stick around in this contest, as she was shocked to be pinned by the veteran The Fabolous Moolah! Moolah needed some help to take down big Bertha Faye, and was assisted by some tough brawling from Miss Texas and a big suplex from Alundra Blayze. Miss Texas tried to be tougher than Luna Vachon, but had no luck as Luna pinned her with a sloppy DDT. Reggie Bennett is the next victim, but it’s of her own doing, as she failed to release a bearhug on Alundra Blayze, despite her getting a rope break! Sunny was quick to give Reggie a piece of her mind, but a cold glare to Sunny shut her up! Desperate, Sunny tried to jump on the apron to help Luna score an elimination and (hopefully) a victory, but she was yanked down by Alundra Blayze, smashing her face against the apron! With no outside influence, Moolah pinned Luna after a piledriver to grab the victory in her return!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: D</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Dok Hendrix is back, but this time it’s a more traditional set up, as he stands in front of a Survivor Series backdrop with FATU, BAM BAM BIGELOW and BRET HART! A three babyfaces cut generic good-guy promos about Wrestling Royalty, as Fatu wants some of Jean-Pierre, Bam Bam is on the lookout for Yankem, and Bret is focused on Lawler! At the close of the promo, he asks someone off screen if they’re ready to fight, and THE BIG BOSSMAN appears, nightstick and all! Bossman said he’s ready, and he’s glad to be back in the WWF!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C+</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">MATCH 3: In a decent match, The Sharpshooters defeated Wrestling Royalty in a Survivor Series match in 10:24; Sir Mo was eliminated first, then Jean-Pierre Laffite, then Isaac Yankem DDS, and finally Jerry Lawler. The Sharpshooters survive.</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> The “Hitman” finally gets a chance to get the monkey off his back, as he leads a powerful team against “The King” and his cronies. Unfortunately, this isn’t a good night for the King, as his team is down a man in the early goings. A Samoan Drop from Fatu took out Sir Mo. Jean-Pierre had a little stronger of a showing next, but a big Bossslam from the returning star earned him a pinfall elimination. Jerry bit his nails on the apron despite his twisted dentist showing a bit more life by beating up Fatu and Bret, but Bret rolled him up with a Victory Roll! Lawler looked for somewhere to run, but Bam Bam and Bossman ran up the entrance to roll King back into the ring! The Hitman was there waiting for him, as he locked in the Sharpshooter to get the submission! The Sharpshooters sweep! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade:B-</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">ON THE TITANTRON:</span></strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> A short promo package describes the weird development of the feud between GOLDUST and the 1-2-3 KID. But, his actions played right into Goldust’s hands, using his mind games to get under the skin of the young superstar. The plan worked to perfection, as an angry 1-2-3 sprinted across the ring, right into a snap powerslam from Goldust! Goldust then had to pick up the limp 1-2-3 and hit the Curtain Call for the victory.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Grade: C+</strong></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong><span style="color:#FF0000;">BACKSTAGE:</span></strong></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> No backstage interview this time, as we get a short look at the pep talk given by Gorilla Monsoon to his gang! Kama is able to wear down Diesel a little bit, but Diesel is just too motivated and powerful. A Jackknife later, and Kama found himself eliminated quick. The MVC got to work after this, taking advantage of the Gunns, surprising the tag team with their impressive amateur skills and chemistry. A huge Suplex earned Dr. Death an elimination (Bart Gunn), and Sycho Sid picked the scraps of Billy Gunn, knocking him out with a Chokeslam. Down to Ahmed and Diesel, the babyfaces would have to make a comeback to earn themselves a win. Owen has the technical advantage, but the World Heavyweight champ has the power edge over the tag team champion. Razor Ramon impresses for a few more minutes before tagging in the Puerto Rican Sensation, Savio Vega! Savio brawls a bit with Owen, but Owen gets the chance to tag in The Mastodon. After that, it ain’t pretty for Savio. Vader no-sells Savio’s punches, before pummeling him in the corner. With Vega down and out, Vader crushed Savio with a Vader Bomb. A 3 count later, and Gorilla’s at an immediate disadvantage.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> SAVIO VEGA: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Vader pounds his chest, he feels no pain! It’s a little more of a fair fight when The Undertaker steps into the ring. Taker can withstand the blows from Vader, and for the first time, Vader looks a little human. Vader can’t test Taker again though, as the overzealous Jeff Jarrett tags himself in. He doesn’t have much success against Taker, but the deadman does tag out. This is the most fluid portion of the main event, with the more athletic members of each team getting time to shine. Marty and Shawn hit some tag moves, showing that there is some chemistry still to be found between the two. However, Marty’s momentum is cut short when he’s tripped up by Clarence Mason on the outside, making him easy pickings for a Running Powerslam from The Bulldog.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> MARTY JANNETTY: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Cornette is excited on the outside! He knew that those two were the weaker members of Gorilla’s Gang, but to have a huge advantage this early is a great sign for Camp Cornette! Gorilla has a mild look of panic on his face, knowing that he still has the big guns to use against Cornette. Those big guns do eventually deliver, as, despite quick tags from Camp Cornette, Razor Ramon is able to hit a Razor’s Edge on Owen Hart, who is the first man down for Camp Cornette.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> OWEN HART: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> With the most technically sound member of Camp Cornette gone, this becomes a bit more of a brawl, as both sides attempt to knock each other out. The brawling becomes too much to handle for Yokozuna, as The Undertaker is able to send him out of the ring after a flurry of hands. Taker follows the sumo wrestler out, continuing to punch him until is knocked out on the ramp. However, while this is happening, referee EARL HEBNER’S count grows. Taker makes his way back to ringside, only to be bodied by Vader on the outside! As the Undertaker feels the effects if Vader’s power, Hebner has no choice but to count both men out, causing each team to lose a man.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> YOKOZUNA: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> THE UNDERTAKER: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Cornette still has the man advantage in this contest, but a still confident Gorilla has two champions by his side! HBK hops in next for Gorilla, and Camp Cornette do a great job isolating Michaels from his corner. The current Intercontinental champion can keep up with Bulldog and Jarrett, but has little to no shot against Vader. Luckily for him, Vader toys with Shawn, pummeling him, but saving his energy by tagging frequently and spending most of the time on the apron. HBK finally gets a chance to breath, sending Bulldog onto his back with a big back body drop before falling to the mat in exhaustion. Razor and the crowd are ready for a hot tag, begging for Shawn to make it to his corner. Shawn pulls himself to his feet and begins to move towards his teammate, but can’t get the tag…</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> KA-BONG</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> After Double J’s “acoustic equalizer” nails Shawn across the head! A blatant disqualification ends Jarrett’s night.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> JEFF JARRETT: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> With a possibly concussed HBK down and out, Bulldog quickly scooped up Shawn, and dropped him with a power slam, earning the pin fall elimination.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> SHAWN MICHAELS: ELIMINATED </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Gorilla is incensed on the outside at the blatant cheating committed by Camp Cornette to put his team at a severe disadvantage, but there’s little that he can do! He is down to the Razor Ramon, who immediately gets in the ring to mix it up with bulldog. Bulldog is more battered than the champ, but he can still tag in Vader, who still has an impressive amount of energy stored up.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> These tags make it seem hopeless for “The Bad Guy”, as, while he continues to put up a good fight, the numbers games are getting to him. Gorilla pounds on the mat to cheer on Razor, trying to get some momentum for his last remaining team member. Cornette walks over to Gorilla, mocking him for ever messing with Camp Cornette! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Gorilla can’t take it anymore! He starts getting into Cornette’s face, poking him in the chest and daring him to back up his words! CLARENCE MASON tries to pull Gorilla off of Cornette, but he’s met with a fist to the face! Earl Hebner admonishes both managers to stop, but there seems to be little to stop Gorilla from chewing out Cornette! The British Bulldog is eventually distracted as well, walking towards the outside of the ring to support his manager in yelling at Gorilla. But, this distraction proves fatal for The Bulldog, as Razor recovers enough to roll up Bulldog from behind. Bulldog flails, but Razors got him! </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> THE BRITISH BULLDOG: ELIMINATED</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> The cocky smirk on Corny’s face is now gone, as he realizes what could happen if his new monster fails him. Razor can barely get to his feet, but puts two fists up towards the approaching Vader, showing no fear!</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> Unfortunately, Vader is a machine, withstanding the shots of Razor to drop him with a vicious clothesline. Razor hits the mat hard, and feels him energy drain even further when Vader locks in a Bearhug. Finding some reserve of energy, Razor is able to elbow his way out of the hold, and somehow knock Vader over with a huge running clothesline. The crowd is on their feet supporting Razor, as he throws his arms to side and signal for the Razors Edge.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> With Vader between his legs, The Bad Guy barely lift Vader off the ground, before Vader shifts his weight to toss Razor over his back. Vader is still a little shook, but doesn’t hesitate to drop Razor with a stiff powerbomb. Gorilla can barely look on the outside, but Vader jumps and crushes the WWF Champion with a Vader Bomb, and that’s all she wrote.</span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> RAZOR RAMON: ELIMINATED </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>In a good match, Camp Cornette defeated Gorilla’s Gang in a Survivor Series match in 27:36; Savio Vega was eliminated first, then Marty Jannetty, then Owen Hart, then Yokozuna, then The Undertaker, then Jeff Jarrett, then Shawn Michaels, then The British Bulldog, and finally Razor Ramon. Really liked Survivor Series, and I see where you're coming from with Gorilla. This wasn't the nostalgia generation like it has been over the past few years, and while in the real life I had no problem seeing Monsoon be given a big role after his announcing years were well and truly over, you need a bigger personality to make sense of the big problems that are about to arise with the incoming levels of Attitude. One nitpick I had here was that Shawn's departure from the main event wasn't very specified and I had to read pretty close (and between the lines) to see how he was eliminated. But that's just things that happen sometimes; were this on the WCW side, we'd just say that the camera team missed his pinfall :p

Speaking of people who don't fit in, Williams and Gordy feel so weird to be here under their common badass selves. If this happened in the true 1995 WWF, they probably would be the Million Dollar Men wearing masks with dollar signs on them or something. But I dig you pushing them right out of the gate as the destroyers that they should be.

And I love me some Ray Traylor, so seeing the Bossman make a big return is okay by me!

Horsemen

Hawk

Hogan and Savage

???: I dunno, Scott Norton? He feels like someone who'd try to use Hawk to make a name for himself.

Dungeon: Sullivan and Shark, since the Mega Powers can just defeat anybody.

Goldust

Shawn Michaels - I doubt Shawn is long for the IC world, but he won't be dropping it to Lafitte.

Bret/Diesel/Razor

M$C: MVC and Kama

<p>Really strong Survivors, certainly worth the wait....a few results I was expecting, a few arrivals I certainly wasn't....still no closer to Big Daddy Cool finding out who put the hit on him, but my money is still on Razor....</p><p>

....I was surprised to see HHH as the crown jewel, but the character he's portraying around this time is most certainly more of a Million Dollar Fit than Steve Austin's Ringmaster was, so I have no problem with that....and I always preferred the Boss Man in the WWF. Vader is a great get too....I tried to sign him myself around this time in game but WCW outbid me, that's the bonus about playing both sides though <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p>

Gordy and Williams were the biggest shock for me....I was a big fan of them during their early 90's WCW run (I never saw anything of their Japan work) but they ran through the WCW ranks like a hot knife through butter.....not sure how good Gordy will be in 1995 mind you, he had that stroke/coma in 93? and was never the same after that......although I guess anything is better than the Executioner <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Week 4, November 1995

Nitro results in Blue, Raw Results in Red

Results, Matches, Angles

Q1: MATCH 1: In a decent match, Arn Anderson and Dean Malenko defeated Alex Wright and Johnny B. Badd in 10:08 when Arn Anderson defeated Johnny B. Badd by pinfall after a distraction from Disco Inferno. Nitro begins with an impressively solid tag team contest, with the young Alex Wright teaming with the colorful TV champion Johnny B. Badd to face the tough team of the Horsemen members Arn and Dean. Dean and Alex displayed some cool technical wrestling (which Dean got the better of), with Arn and Badd displaying some nice brawling. Badd looked like he could seal the deal for the babyface tag team, but when he wanted to finish Arn off, a disco ball dropped over the ring! DISCO INFERNO came out and danced as only he can, getting the attention of Badd! A frustrated Badd turned right around into a Spinebuster from Arn to get the Horsemen a victory. - B l MEAN GENE JOINS THE WINNERS in the ring, before introducing STING and the new United States Champion RIC FLAIR! Naitch and Sting come out together, joining the two other Horsemen in the ring. When they get the ring, Sting says he’s got to hand it to Flair, he beat him by his rules! Sting has been convinced that the Horsemen have changed. Flair has celebrated this past week, and now he formally welcomes Sting to the Horsemen. Sting goes to shake Ric’s hand, but the generic biddle hits, and LEX LUGER comes out on the stage! Lex asks everyone to hold their horses, as he’s got something to show Sting prior to him joining the Horsemen! Lex shows us footage of the title match last week, and shows an alternate angle of the finish - and shows the “dirtiest player in the game” holding onto the tights! Flair cheated to win! Sting takes his hand bank, and immediately rejects the offer! He’ll never be a Horseman! And he wants his rematch - two out of three falls - this Sunday! Flair is livid that his cover was blown, and the match is on! - B+

Q1: WWF WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION RAZOR RAMON comes to the ring to kick off Monday Night Raw, looking dejected as he takes a microphone! Razor takes the time to apologize to Gorilla Monsoon for losing in the main event of last night’s Survivor Series, saying that he knows he let down the now former Commissioner. To make things worse, he proved that a loudmouth like JIM CORNETTE was right. Razor said that he could keep himself down, but “bad times don’t last, but bad guys do!” A screeching guitar hits, and the number one contender BRET HART arrives! Bret came out to say he’s happy to hear this from Razor, since the man who’s “the best there is, etc.” wants the champ on his A-game at In Your House! Bret and Razor seem to agree to be their best at the big show, before the MILLION DOLLAR CORPORATION arrive! TED DIBIASE mocks the budding romance happening in the ring right now, saying that there’s bigger business to be done! New “Crown Jewel” of the Corporation quips to Razor “Unless you want to do business again…”. Bret shoots Razor a look, but Razor’s insulted, challenging the Corporation in the ring! The Corporation take that invite, surviving a quick burst by Bret and Razor to start to cause havok in the ring. Before any serious damage is done, DIESEL comes down to the ring and clears it! Big Daddy Cool helps the champ and challenger up, setting up the six man tag for later tonight! - A l OUR ONLY SPLIT SCREEN interview of the night sees VINCE and KING ask GOLDUST what’s next now that he defeated 123 KID at Survivor Series. Goldust breathes deep, and says he’s still looking for his next role. He’s about to audition… next! - C+

Q2: ROAD WARRIOR HAWK IS FIRED UP tonight, as he’s ready to shut the mouth of one DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE! DDP claimed that he was gonna meet up with Hawk this week, and he makes his way to ringside, but he’s not dressed to compete. Hawk is confused, but DDP said he would meet him, not fight him! But since he’s in the fighting mood, this guy will give him a fight… SCOTT NORTON! - B- l In a decent match, Road Warrior Hawk defeated Scott Norton in 6:49 by pinfall with a Flying Lariat. This toughman contest was kept relatively short, as the wild brawling of Hawk and Norton made this match seem more like a sprint than a marathon. Hawk was glad to use his aggression on someone, and Norton was happy to hand it right back to the tag team veteran. Hawk was able to daze Norton long enough to hit a flying clothesline to knock Norton out and end this contest. - B-

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q2: MATCH 1: In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Goldust defeated Fatu in 7:21 by pinfall with a Curtain Call. Both men walked out of Survivor Series with victories last Sunday Night, with Goldust pinning 123 Kid and Fatu joining Bret Hart’s winning team over Jerry Lawler. Despite this, the gap in talent was apparent in this contest, as Goldust’s mind games were played to perfection to get Fatu off his game. Fatu’s cheering fans couldn’t stop Goldust from hitting the Curtain Call to make his audition a successful one. C+ l COLOSSEUM VIDEO GIVES US a quick package of superstars saying goodbye to GORILLA MONSOON, with MARTY and SAVIO wishing him well, BACKLUND screaming and ranting, BOSSMAN promising justice, and Lawler sarcastically making Gorilla jokes at the departing commissioner's expense. - C

Q3: TONY SCHIAVONE IS BACKSTAGE and he introduces his guest - the WCW World Heavyweight Champion HULK HOGAN! Hogan dudes and brothers his way through his promo (which the crowd eats up), saying that he knows he faces a tough challenge in THE GIANT, but the power of Hulkamania will propel him to victory! MACHO MAN walks into the shot then, and shares a tense moment with the champ. Yes, he’ll be his tag partner tonight against the Dungeon. But, as soon as that bell rings, he’s on his own, dig it! - B+ l MIKE TENAY IS ELSEWHERE standing by with WCW Tag Team Champions, HARLEM HEAT! Tenay asks if this drama with Parker and Sherri is getting in the way of their ambitions as tag team champions? Booker and Stevie can’t really answer, as SHERRI interrupts! Their manager begs Heat to reconsider and celebrate with Col. Parker at his bachelor party this week! Heat don’t seem excited about it, but promise Sherri they’ll be there. - C+

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q3: MATCH 2: In a decent match, Shawn Michaels defeated Jean-Pierre Laffite in 9:02 by pinfall with a Sweet Chin Music. Shawn Michaels makes defence number 10 of his WWF Intercontinental Championship. It’s been a bit of time since HBK has defended his Intercontinental gold thanks to his involvement in Gorilla’s business, so he faces a tough challenge in the foreign powerhouse Jean-Pierre. Jean-Pierre shows off some impressive athleticism for a man his size against the smaller Michaels, but HBK takes control late into the match. A Diving Elbow and some Sweet Chin Music keeps the gold around Michaels’ waist. - B- l THE SUIT-CLAD DOK HENDRIX heads to the ring post match to conduct an interview with Shawn Michaels and wants to know what’s next for the IC Champ. HBK first gives a shout-out to Gorilla Monsoon, before he admits that he’d like to get some revenge on Camp Cornette, specifically JEFF JARRETT and THE BRITISH BULLDOG. He can’t get much farther than that, as his interrupted by DEAN DOUGLAS, SKIP and BULLY DEMOTT! The cartoonish trio stand on the ramp, with Dean taking command of a microphone. Dean says that Shawn was obviously not studying his Survivor Series film, as he would know that Dean, Skip and Bully would all be worthier champions than HBK. Shawn said that Dean’s right - he never studied much in school - but he’s ready for a fight whenever! Shawn challenges the three to a fight, but Dean leads his gang to the back peacefully. - C l COLOSSEUM VIDEO IS BACK this time showing stills of some exciting Survivor Series action. Want to watch the whole show? Buy the replay! - A

Q4: MAIN EVENT: In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage defeated Meng and The Taskmaster in 12:37 when The Taskmaster was disqualified when The Giant ran in and attacked Hulk Hogan. The Dungeon sent Meng and The Taskmaster to battle Hogan and Savage, but the odds were against them. Hogan and Savage are arguably the biggest stars in the past decade of wrestling, and the two (despite their obvious tension) display great tag team chemistry. Meng is tough, Taskmaster is diabolic, but Hogan withstood it all to put the Taskmaster in a vulnerable position. But, before Hogan could finish it off, THE GIANT jumped in for the DQ! - B l THE GIANT PUMMELS Hogan from behind, but Hogan hulks up! He makes The Giant stagger, and looks to try to slam his big challenger, but the rest of The Dungeon strike! It’s a 4 on 1 assault, as Macho is a man of his word! The bell rang, and he was out of there! With no hope of a comeback, The Giant grabs the World Heavyweight Championship, and raises it above his head! Could this be a preview of World War 3? - B+

moaI4HY.jpg?1WIQa4IS.jpg?291T1T1o.jpg?1

Q4: MAIN EVENT: In a decent match, Bret Hart, Razor Ramon and Diesel defeated Million Dollar Corporation (King Kong Bundy, Kama and Sycho Sid) in 12:40 when Bret Hart defeated Kama by submission with a Sharpshooter. Ted DiBiase sends some members of his B or C teams to do battle in the main event, as the Sycho, Kama and Bundy face three of the biggest babyfaces in the WWF. Despite having most of his Corporation at ringside, Ted’s representatives don’t have a great shot in this contest, as both Diesel and Razor are aggressive in their pursuit of victory. All three babyfaces get their shots in and only really have trouble with Sid, before Bret locks in the Sharpshooter on Kama to get a win for the good guys. - B l AFTER THE MAIN EVENT, Corny puts over how proud he is of his boys for finally stomping out the man who made their lives difficult, Gorilla Monsoon! The loudmouth manager tosses some more insults in Gorilla’s direction, before saying that he’s glad there can be some fairness and justice in the WWF. Cornette could carry on, but decides it’s time to introduce the man of the hour, Gorilla! Gorilla does surprisingly show, considering the situation. Cornette asks if the former commissioner wants to share some words with the folks at home, but yanks the microphone away from him every time he tries to speak. Finally, Gorilla snatches the microphone away from Cornette, and shares a heartwarming message of thanks to the audience. But, then, Gorilla turns his attention to Jim Cornette. He points out the shiner on CLARENCE MASON, and points out that it was meant for Cornette. And, if it’s the last thing he does, he’s going to make Cornette pay for what he did. Gorilla does rear back and strike, despite the pleading of Cornette, and does sock him in the fac!. Gorilla climbs on top to try to deliver some more blows, but it’s a terrible decision as he feels the powerful grasp of VADER! A huge lariat and Vader Bomb (with Cornette shouting commands in the background), sees Gorilla destroyed but the new dominant force in the WWF. Raw ends of a shot of Vader and Cornette towering over a defeated Gorilla Monsoon on the former commissioner’s last night in the WWF! - A

It's World War 3, baby! Before we get there, two things: 1: I hope those who celebrate had a happy Thanksgiving this past Thursday, and 2: let's look at some comments:

I’m with you on the Nostalgia Authority Figure role in today’s wrestling point (it’s was overdone two years ago IMO), and I’m with you on the big personality idea. Now, it’s all the matter of picking the best one available.

Shawn’s elimination was just a error in transferring for me. Had it written up, but didn’t paste it over. It’s added now!

And I love me some Ray Traylor, so seeing the Bossman make a big return is okay by me!

....I was surprised to see HHH as the crown jewel, but the character he's portraying around this time is most certainly more of a Million Dollar Fit than Steve Austin's Ringmaster was, so I have no problem with that....and I always preferred the Boss Man in the WWF. Vader is a great get too....I tried to sign him myself around this time in game but WCW outbid me, that's the bonus about playing both sides though :p

HHH as the “Crown Jewel” wasn’t an obvious choice for me. I did consider some other folks from outside of the company, but I figured bringing in too many names from the outside world wouldn’t be smart, since I already have too many new faces to establish right now.

Bossman in WCW is just weird after 1995 - he joined the Dungeon when they were in their “we’ll take anybody” phase, he joined the nWo when they were in their “we’ll take anybody” phase, and then left. Let’s skip that awkward phase and give us back the Bossboob.

And Vader rules. No question.

Gordy and Williams were the biggest shock for me....I was a big fan of them during their early 90's WCW run (I never saw anything of their Japan work) but they ran through the WCW ranks like a hot knife through butter.....not sure how good Gordy will be in 1995 mind you, he had that stroke/coma in 93? and was never the same after that......although I guess anything is better than the Executioner :D

Dr. Death and Gordy are a bit of an awkward fit in the WWF, but I would like them to be considered as a legitimate tag team quick. The tag division is pretty thin, and since Owen and Yoko always felt like a temporary alliance, they could slide in as a top heel tag team quick Plus, they make the Corporation’s second unit a little more tough, since nobody is really impressed by Kama and Bundy so far. As long as they both behave (I’m looking at you, Gordy), they should work fine.

Great Survivor Series.

Thank you DZ2! Glad to have you back.

Hulk Hogan and Randy Savage vs. The Dungeon of Doom

Comments: Whatcha gonna do when creative control runs wild on you?

Fun little footnote for everybody - I haven’t had any issues with the Hulkster yet, but I did test some big matches for Hogan to see who’d he be willing to lose too - and he wasn’t too crazy about most of them. Creative Control, I’ll see you at Starcade!

Bonus Questions:

Who is ???: Raven!

Raven is definitely shortlisted, but he’s not WCW (or WWF) bound yet. If/when he arrives, he’ll get a solid push.

And thank you for joining us olivertaylor! With one show down, let's take a look at the standings:

Beejus: 9

Blodyxe, KingKongCoronado: 8

Deathzone2, olivertaylor276, Smw88, to4sty: 7

Nobby: 6

Beejus starts hot, and there's 20 points on the line! Let's get cooking!

<p>Hulk Hogan - <em>I know you've likely gotten Giant over pretty well, but Hulkster isn't gonna be dropping the fall, brother.</em></p><p>

Randy Savage - <em>Macho is the only one with a storyline going on toward the title, so he takes WW3 home.</em></p><p>

Final 4: Savage, Flair, Sting, and Luger</p><p>

Mystery Entrants: I'm guessing that you strategically placed the ??? in alphabetical order, so I will say it's Doug Furnas, Keiji Mutoh, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, and ZEUS</p><p>

Last Eliminated: Flair</p><p>

Ric Flair - <em>I doubt you'd flop the title back and forth, so Flair walks out with the belt intact.</em></p><p>

Johnny B. Badd - <em>Unless your plan is to purposely lose him to the WWF, Johnny isn't losing the title to Disco, no matter how much fun he may be.</em></p><p>

Hawk - <em>I know DDP is on the way up while Hawk is on the way down, but this would be a pretty huge drop for him to take.</em></p><p>

Dean Malenko - <em>I can't see Dean losing to Rey twice, or it would make him look bad as a Horseman.</em></p><p> </p><p>

MOTN: Flair vs Sting</p><p>

Titles: 0</p><p>

Opener: Badd vs. Disco</p><p>

Sherri and Parker: No</p><p>

If so: Lanny Poffo! You know he'd do the best ceremony!</p>
