<p>Im loving everything about this game. The new scouting system is exactly how it should have been from day 1 IMO. Im definitely curious about Pro Mode sounds like a very realistic setting which is what I go for in my TEW saves</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Thank you so much Adam for the work you are putting into this game!</p>

So how im seeing it is Adam is just showing us what the game already does instead of hiding it behind the scenes. Which IMO is much better. Less numbers for database makers to input also.</p>

Thrilled with the change to Scouting. I know things got a bit heated, but I think all of the discussion involving Fog of War/Scouting was good and healthy. The implication of the previous entry made it seem like to myself and others that any sort of ratings-obscuring system was being scrapped, so I'm glad that's not the case and that this entry came when it did. Thank you Adam!

<p>At least 5 more months. 5 more months at the least..... I really can't wait till the game gets dropped. I know they will take their time & late 2019 is highly unlikely. But, whenever this beauty gets released. I will be so happy.</p><p> </p><p>

But I'll say it again. TEW needs more road agent notes. I sometimes need at least 50 notes for some matches.</p>

Proving that Hogan should still be the top guy. But always take these backstage stories with a grain of salt. I believe it was Scott Hall who told the story.</p>

The negotiating part would be awesome, though. Makes sense the proactive version is more powerful. Overall it is shaping up to be a good game. On a different note, I just hope there can be a way to include letter grades. That would be very popular.</p>

<p>Ok, so fog of war has has been modified (and by the sound of it improved) and is now called scouting. That's different than saying it has been removed. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p>

But anyways, with today's announcement it's all good again. Was super happy about today's entry. Will definitely be playing in pro mode.</p><p> </p><p>

I also feel bad now for saying that the game would be made more "simple" for the sake of appealing to a wider audience. Was probably wearing a little tinfoil hat there. Sorry about that.</p>

<p>Regarding promises, I think it would be fun if there was a small chance increasing with personality types that the worker who promises to put another worker over would double cross, shoot, i.e. go back on their promise. IRL stuff like that does happen and would make the characters in the game more human, and the promise system less mechanical.</p><p> </p><p>

Note this shouldn't happen too often as that would make the feature less fun but just naturally you cant trust extreme narcissists can you?</p>

<p>I have to confess, i really want to try the new wrestling style system in a historical mod.</p><p> </p><p>

For example trying to change WCCW from a traditional style wrestling into a hardcore company.</p><p> </p><p>

This is going to be a great game and i'm willing to test it!</p>

Several promising changes imo. Looks like we're going to say goodbye to numbers then? Probably going to play the "realistic" mode because I'd consider 99 workers to be better than 96 for some reasons even though it doesn't really matter. I'd be spending millions on a quest for "maximum values". <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Great news about the Scouting mechanic, that pretty much alleviates every misgivings I had about ditching the FOW.

I wonder if worker promises will be based on a worker's personality. For example, if a wrestler is a complete egomaniac, then he will never promise to push someone, but if a worker is a nice guy or has an old school mentality, he'll put others over.

Maybe it could also depend on how old a worker is. A veteran with a good career might be willing to put a young prospect over, more than they would be willing to put over another veteran.

Relationships would also probably tie into it. Friends will always want to put each other over, but complete enemies won't.

Also, what if we could promise a worker that he could beat someone else if he lost to a person. Like promising Cena a win over HHH at the Greatest Royal Rumble if he loses to Taker at Mania.

We already know that worker personalities will be primarily traits based so I really hope we get to see traits that make it more or less likely for a worker to put other people over.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to use so many road agent notes? I can't think of any reason why you would need any unless you are literally trying to have 30+ interference notes, are doing something that could be accomplished far more easily with fewer notes OR are perhaps misunderstanding something else. If that's the case, there may be some help we can collectively give right now. :)

Some matches, specifically battle royals, really eat up RA notes if you want to not only have a say in who gets to be a finalist, iron man etc. but also want to specify who gets to look strong, who has limited involvement/protection etc.

I've had plenty of battle royals where I literally ran out of RA note slots halfway through my plans.

You definitely don't need notes for limited involvement and stuff like that... I don't think it's in the Player Handbook, but battle royales are mostly rated on the top 8 to 10 workers in the match itself. The game automates a lot of stuff by automatically assuming that you aren't going to put a guy 10 years into tme decline in there for 50 minutes or that the nobodies are probaly just fodder for the bigger stars you are making notes for.</p><p> </p><p> So besides specifying the final four, the iron man and the most eliminations (which act similarly to keep strong notes) you really don't need all the extra stuff. All you are doing is giving yourself more work and potentially hurting your own ratings by trying to make everyone look strong when they can't. <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

<p><em>Editorial skill comparison</em> sounds like one of the biggest features yet as I'm someone who spends 99% of his TEW playing time making mods. This sounds super, super useful. Usually, the way it goes is, I spend the first year or so working on a database, then I start my first savegame, play a few years, find flaws in the database, then go back to the editor, repeat this a few times, and when I'm finally done, a new TEW is announced lol. So I'm really looking forward to modding being quicker in any way possible so that I can actually play the game. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="EBEZA" data-cite="EBEZA" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46105" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>This is the biggest piece of news that I hadn't realised I'd missed! <p>For my money, being able to quickly match a worker's requested amount is a small but significant "quality of life" improvement.</p><p> </p><p>

The addition of individual wrestler performances in match history is also good and should make looking back at a worker's performances easier without having to track everything on separate spreadsheets (been there, it's a mess) because match ratings alone can be misleading.</p>

I would prefer to have to submit a contract offer and wait a few days for an answer either way, but this button is certainly better than having to adjust the amount manually.</p><p> </p><p> As for the individual performance part, I'd never thought of spreadsheeting that. I do, however, spreadsheet chemistry, as the game documents good and bad chemistry, but doesn't keep track of what you have tested and has come back "average." That would be a helpful tracker for me, personally.</p>

I know people want the ability to book every part of a RR. That's why I think increasing the cap on road agent notes could be a very nice addition. Plus sometimes 10 isn't enough for a match for me TBH.</p>
