Champagne Lover will be working in America soon enough

NOTBW will be on a major international TV deal.

MAW will thrive and rise in status to maybe cult or so.

The American Cobras will be a very popular act and possibly the champions in a major organization

Anyone else wondering if we'll see Supreme Wrestling Entertainment?

Following a dispute with the Save the Wildlife Foundation?

With that said, I predict that they will be back on top following the roaring success of the SWE Network (gotta show off that mechanic that allows parent companies to host their Child Companies on their own broadcaster)

I expect there to be an AEW-esque promotion, but not in the US. I think it'll be in the UK as as the British scene in the c- verse kinda mimics the US scene, with 21CW dominating with no true competitors. Plus it'd spice up that game region a lot!

I also think this (though basing it in Europe may make more sense) and have spent far too much time figuring out how it would happen. It'd be primarily UK and European talent, with broadcast deals in both places. I think Joey Beauchamp sees the writing on the wall and cashes out UEW in exchange for the book and/or spots for his best guys. (Byron's too proud to pack it in.) Walker van Cleer joins as the anointed up-and-coming Euro star. Someone who's done everything he's going to do in 21CW, like Matravers, Faust, or even Kevin Jones comes over. The biggest surprise here is that this is where Swoop ends up.

I think either AAA or QAW joins the COTT, allowing it to introduce a women's title.

MAW gets cleaned out by the U.S. Big Three, who are clamoring for young, cheap talent. (Ross Henry even passed through for a year or so on his way to USPW.) They're around in 2020, but with practically a brand new roster.

At least one of SWF's top prospects bolts and finds his feet elsewhere.

OLLIE gets a new owner with deep pockets who gets them back on TV. This, along with Champagne Lover reducing his schedule because of his high demand as an actor, allows Gino Montero to seize his destiny as Mexico's next big wrestling star.

I feel like the Japanese scene will be much smaller. There's a tsunami event in 2016 that crashes the Japanese economy and wrestling scene. It'll probably put the struggling BCG out of business as well as probably one or two of the Modern Japan companies. I feel like the Indian market will probably benefit from this with a handful of Japanese workers heading there as at least part timers.

As for Europe and North America, I see SNP either being closed due to scandal or being sold, a European company rising to the equivalent of Cult to truly fill the void left by the close of UCR, CGC either closing or being sold, NOTBPW swallowing up ACPW to shore up its roster, TCW falling into the equivalent of Cult but is rebuilding with a youth movement, and AAA having its own network and branching out of the North West.

I haven’t read through the entire thread yet so if someone else has thrown some of this out, my apologizes. Most of my thoughts are on the American scene.

Cherry Bomb leaves as the AAA booker and starts a 4th women’s company somewhere in middle America.

4th women’s company you say, who is the 3rd? Women’s wrestling returns to Las Vegas for another run with much more emphasis on wrestling than strip show.

AAA tries to push out its boundaries and is at war with the other 3 women’s only companies.

SWF finally welcomes a Diva’s division, much like the WWE early 2000’s version.

On the men’s side, the COTT welcomes a new teritory or two (FCW and RMW).

Based on Historians Dynasty, RMW will take off. The question is will they be a NW company of in the Southwest. Always seemed odd to me the default for Rocky Mt was the NW instead of the Colorado, Nevada type of region.

Brico will pull the plug on TCW. Someone will try to hold it together but they will be bought out by SOTBPW

1 company will pull out of COTT, my guess is NYCW.

Anyway I’m looking forward to Thursday

A bit late to this but I’ll give it a shot. There will be a lot of inspiration from the 2018 cornellverse mod, which is awesome.

USPW: Biggest company in the world, but dealing with enormous issues in the locker room, as egos have led to giant problems and high roster turnover. Nicky Champion has gone from company figurehead to leaving the company after backstage politicking. The women’s division still exists, but has been heavily de-emphasized, leading to the loss of the vast majority of its high tier talent.

SWF: Spiraling out of control. The SWF after losing 2 of its star home growns seems almost exclusively relying on older talent, with Jack Bruce still headlining. They have had guys seemingly ready to take over as top acts, but indecisive booking has led to Valiant, Des Davids, and others treading water.

TCW: Stable. Rocky Golden went from getting John Cena/Roman Reigns heat to becoming universally beloved when he resigned with TCW over bids from the other power players, and he, Wolf Hawkins, and Aaron Andrews have became almost unturnable babyfaces for being the pillars of the promotion. TCW has scouted well and has tons of talented young up and comers, including Matthew Keith and Jay Chord as the young lions who have pushed into the top of the card. The team of Logan Wolfsbaine and Ernest Youngman are viewed as the best tag team in America.

NOTBPW: The men’s division is in a rough spot, as Sean Deelay, Cameron Vessey, and Ricky DeColt do there best to keep the main event producing. But it’s the women who have became the reason for NOTBPW’s rise, as they were the main benefactor of USPW women’s cuts, with the story of Alicia Strong trying to match her fathers longest title reign being a gigantic story, as she now approaches 2 years as NOTBPW women’s champion, with classics with Amber Allen, Sara Marie York, and Lauren Easter main eventing major shows.

CGC: Dead due to Alex’s ego.

SOTBPW: Chanpagne Lovers hiatus from the wrestling business has slowed there momentum, though not completely. El Lion has emerged as a worthy ace, but the US expansion hasn’t gone amazing, and there inability to take Gino Montero and Mr. Lucha III from Ollie has led to actual competition in Mexico for the first time in a decade.

OLLIE: Gino Montero and Mr. Lucha III have emerged into some of the biggest stars in Mexico, as there feud over the top belt has put on multiple classics. Other talent has also used this to elevate themselves, as Lucha and Gino have seemed to make army’s against one another, and just being involved in the rivalry has elevated many. Ollie has a TV deal and a growing fanbase, and 2 cornerstones that rival any one else in the world.

21CW: Strength to Strength. Still like playing on easy mode. Only weakness is the lack of a true super worker as Cornell and Matrevers are a little on the old side. Olsen and Burton are either main eventers or on the cusp, and Buff Martinez has became a true top of the card act.

RAW: The controversial one. After a string with no Swoop on top and injuries to other top draws, the shocking story of 2018 was the sobering reality that RAW was owned by a TV Network. And with the ratings down, RAW was cancelled, thus completely shocking the Australian wrestling scene. 2 startup feds have formed, and APW has used this to push themselves right up as well. The Aussie scene has 3 companies that are high regional, each running vastly different styles of shows, and it feels like war is a certainty.

WLW: The company that weathered the Tsunami best, WLW has shot up to leading the Japanese wrestling business. But it hasn’t been perfect, as a riff formed in 2019 between Magnum Kobe and Emerald Angel. Angel, having more political sway, ended up ousting Kobe from the company, but this has led to Kobe being the worlds most valuable freelancer, working shows across the world.

BHOTWG: The biggest loser of the tsunami, BHOTWG’s roster has been gutted. Almost all major gaijins have returned home, A good portion of there junior roster left for bigger pay days in WLW, and multiple of there heavyweights followed Koshiro Ino to the US.

PGHW: PGHW made some hard decisions to keep there heads above water (that was unintentional pun but I am sticking with it), but is has overall lead to a windfall of being the “Kings of the Heavyweight division” While Koiso, Mushashibo, Kunomasu, and Diaz were let to retire or move on, Kawashima, Ugaki, Jimbo, Makiguchi, SATO and Kitoaji were kept as the new centerpieces. The result has been a new PGHW six, as PGHW seems to be repeating there initial rise of to popularity on six great workers much like they did in the late 90’s.

Individual worker stuff:

The Bumfholes left SWF, and went separate ways wanting to strike as singles competitors. One has became a star, the other seems stuck in the midcard and is getting increasingly bitter.

Sayeed Ali has basically become the face of the COTT, and his ability to show up in a territory, cut a promo to build to a big match and then put up great main events has had people calling for him in big promotions. Ali however has said he is a 4C worker for life, and will not sign a written contract anywhere.

I wonder where Kim Corona will end up. She "appears to have a thing for wrestlers". I sure hope that ends well. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

<p>I have no real predictions, as the amount of change from 13 to 16 was so vast, I couldn't possibly think up enough to see such a drastic change. However, as best I can tell, there's always somebody big jumping companies. I could see Enygma returning to SWF for a swan song. I think his 10 year deal would be up? Can't recall when exactly he signed.</p><p> </p><p>

Past that, I'm really curious to see the state of the American scene as that is the one I've played most. I'm sure USPW will still be top dogs due to the vast amounts of money they have at the helm. Interested to see where TCW lands. I could see them being kinda the unofficial figurehead for COTT. Essentially becoming a "Super Indy" that puts on phenomenal wrestling every week seems to fit them well. SWF seems like the established company that will tread water until something drastic happens to USPW. Would also be interested if Peter Michaels takes over TCW as booker to try to stick it to SWF.</p><p> </p><p>

I'm so excited for tomorrow. I've gotta decide do I sleep when I get off work in the AM and download whenever I wake up in the afternoon, assuming the demo is out by them, or do I stay up and hope it gets released sometime in the morning hours so I have time to play before I go to sleep for the day. Decisions, decisions.</p>

<p>No wild predictions but what I'm hoping is that Alex saw the error of his ways, realised his idiocy and threw the farm at big brother Steve, including the booking spot, willing him to come back to CGC and save them.</p><p>

Steve did so, which kept Ricky around, and went on a monster heel run as an absolute heat magnet running wild with Gargantuan over the DeColts. The territory catches fire, an influx of talent appears and their steadying up. Steve and Alex, returning from retirement for a mini run, had their massive blow off in a headline match at the DeColt WrestleFestival retiring Alex for good and turning Steve baby face in the process as they make up post-match.</p><p>

Very unlikely, but that's fantasy booking for you. Always had a soft spot for CGC. Hope their still around and salvageable.</p>

<p>I've mentioned a few of these but...</p><p> </p><p>

-Alex steps down from CGC after Jack and Dan Delay have an intervention and "persuade" him to take a sabbatical</p><p> </p><p>

-SOTBPW starts a women's division, kicking off with their "Luchadora!" reality series that received wild popular acclaim</p><p> </p><p>

-WLW starts a "joshidora" division</p><p> </p><p>

-A group of women wrestlers in Europe, tired of having to deal with Byron or take whatever meager indy bookings there are, start their own company.</p><p> </p><p>

-OLLIE rises a bit. They're still a far cry from their former glory, but they're more of a threat to SOTBPW.</p><p> </p><p>

-QAW is regional at least.</p><p> </p><p>

-Mark Carnie discovers a new grift to keep SNP's money rolling in.</p>
