Can someone source me to the news drop? Can't seem to find it! That's great news!

"List of fixes completed so far" in the tech support forum. You need the latest patch.

I'm glad it says "WIP", because the colors do still need some tweaking. As I mentioned over in the suggestion forum, the light green looks more blue than green to me when you put it alongside actual blue. And I'd be happy if we could get dark blue for A vs light blue for A* like we had before. Still, a step in the right direction.

"QUESTION: Will the Mod Maker's Whiteboard be removed or resized?

ANSWER: There are no current plans to remove it, as I found it useful when I was doing my database work and I believe it'll prove equally useful to other people over time. It may be resized or replaced if there comes a point where some other feature would require that space."

If they will just resize it I'd be happy. Or maybe just change the color from a whiteboard with black lettering, to a blackboard with white lettering. Something not so abrasive to the eyes.

Genuine question, do you have this complaint when you use word processors and notepad apps? It's pretty much the standard, and all of TEW's notepads used the same setup.

Just posted this in the tech support as i have to know if this is a glitch for a design flaw

It's been commented on previously, but it's due to the AI adjusting needed faces and heels. Since stables can't be mixed dispositions, they'll be disbanded by the AI.

As far as the work on modding logos for real world mods (which I have spent many hours on), your work is not wasted regardless. You will spend far more time on your own stables screens.

I think it's the contrast between the colors that is messing with people. Solid black all around, the bright white stands out. The little white box I'm typing in right now is just as bright, but the contrast isn't there because of the grey (or green or whatever) is a light shade bordering this box, and then it's white again all around that. It's perfect for being able to see exactly what I'm doing.

With the game being so dark, I imagine the board being opposite would have made it much easier... Perhaps a dark grey, and typing white.

I actually do. All of the apps I use are either dark themed or I don't use them. As weird as it sounds. The white light does genuinely hurt my eyes when trying to look at a screen for a prolonged amount of time. Maybe I have sensitive eyes, either way. It's something that bothers me. It makes it hard for me to look at it for a long amount of time.

Also, I never use TEW notepads. I use a notepad that has a dark theme.

I'm not articulate enough to put into words why it bothers me so much, but this is a great way to put it.

I'm looking at a mostly dim screen trying to focus on the small text on the center/left of the screen. While on the center/right side is a big white box.

It's a weird issue & I can live with it. Just since we are making changes. Might as well throw it out there as an issue.

It was the standard, about two years ago. It's changing however, as both Mac and Windows now have dark modes of their own for nearly all apps.

Word Processors are the exception to this rule, but if you have apps like Notepad++, VS Code or IDEs for writing then you can write in a dark mode UI. Mobile and Tablet use dark mode for writing now.

Think the issue isn't so much needing it to be dark, but it's high contrast against everything else. Only if you have visual accessibility conditions needing high contrast will the current work well.

For most players you should consider what they are generally using all day and what they are writing in all day. Remember most people don't and won't change their monitor brightness to adjust for individual apps.

A lot of the web is favouring dark UIs (even the forum), the game itself is mostly in dark, so having something that contrasts so much is leading to complaints that it's hurting people's eyes (which isn't a surprise to me).

Agree with all of this.

Perhaps an orange colour in between the red and yellow, replacing the lighter green. So Red-Orange-Yellow-Green-Blue.

Like you say, though, definite step in the right direction, and I'm grateful to Adam for listening to suggestions. It's a small detail he could easily have ignored, but he didn't, so thanks.

Please no or at least, some options for text and shading. As someone with moderate red-green colourblindness, a red-orange-yellow-green-blue spectrum basically boils down to "Red-Blue" to me.

At the very least, making sure there's enough contrasting differences in the values or having enough contextual difference/information is important - that latter not meaning "a list of numbers" but "this value means X because of this road agent not".

The spectrum itself is fine; it's a standard across most games so that's helpful. But otherwise, the game is basically demanding I try to create and understand yet another layer of information on top of everything else.

Got the demo last night and I think it looks OK.

The largest problem I'm having is the larger size is wreaking havoc on the window sizes. Meaning if I click on a button triggering a window, I can't close the window.

Do I need to look into getting a larger monitor?

Depends. How big is your monitor? I consider 24" (on a desktop) to be the minimum nowadays with prices being so cheap. Otherwise, IMHO, you're putting a lot of strain on your eyes.

I use a 27" and a 30" myself, and my corneas have thanked me many times. :)

My high-end desktop gaming computer running on a cheap Samsung barely has a noticable difference between 2016 and 2020. However when I tried to run 2020 on my mums' laptop, I soon realized what a lot of you were complaining about. Totally overlapped my start bar and was having to alt+tab every time I needed to access my browser. It seems to be a resolution + screen size issue but can't promise you.

I had the same issue. My display was set to 150% by default on my laptop which caused those issues. Putting it back to 100% fixed it after restating the game.

Anyone else notice the sky-high salary demands of most road agents? They are paid better than pretty much the entire roster of active workers. Feels a bit off.

Definitely. I just checked this out - Alyx Macquarie is a wrestler in Oceania whose estimated cost to RAW was $3,400 a month. I asked him to make himself available as a road agent, he accepted. His estimated cost is now $23,500 a month!

That's weird- I brought Tamara McFly into RMW and she's only on 30 dollars a month same as most of the roster.

Yeah Handshake deals are cheap for road agents; written deals are exorbitant. I doubt it's meant to be quite like this; probably a bug.

That's interesting - there's definitely a written/handshake contrast, but also I think it may be to do with psychology. Tamara's psychology is 71 and she wants $3000 a month. Rick Sanders, Rumble Roper, and RK Hayes all have psych between 69 and 71 and want between $3400 and $3800 a month. There are others with similar psych who want more but they're fairly rare. However, if you look at people with psych between 72 and 75 in the US who can work as RAs then there are 9 of them, and apart from Art Reed they ALL want $30,000+.

Edit: Actually, this seems similar even at handshake level. As 1PWFan says, Tamara's estimated cost with 71 psych, 100 exp, 82 respect is $30 per show. Vixxen's, with 72/100/80 respectively, is $400 per show! (She's also more popular in the North West but I don't think it's that as Sky King, who's less popular than Tamara everywhere, wants $300 a show on a handshake deal. His relevant stats are 76/100/74.)
