Dross
I thought quite a bit on how to improve the roster screen in the game without having to change any of the current programming decisions and came up with the following: Basically, use two "tabs" to list all skills and move the attributes to where the "worker news" are now (maybe add "tabs" as well to switch to worker news). If possible, add separators in the list itself (like in TEW16 with "gimmick ratings"). I'd say that would be a big improvement without having to change anything fundamental. Also, make the font bigger(!!). (I realize that the "Out of Ring Skills", which would be on the second tab, are much more important for Robert Oxford nowadays ;-))
Dross
One of the main advantages is that one click (on the arrows) would lead to all the other skills, instead of having to click loads of time to move the list one line at a time.
Dross
This (posted by Slim Jim in the beta feedback thread) would be a good alternative:
Bobby Brown
yes, the layout from Slim Jim should definitely make it into the final game. Snap into a SLIM JIM, OH YEAH!
Slim Jim
I think either option would be an improvement for ease of use. The 'Recent Headlines' bit does seem like it could house something else like in Dross's mock-up. Or extend the Popularity all the way down (and put it into two columns as I've done with stats) and show 'Recent Headlines' on the alternate option when clicking the arrows. The Rock
This (posted by Slim Jim in the beta feedback thread) would be a good alternative: I like the one from Dross, but this one here would be awesome.
Taker4455
Slim Jim's mock up is amazing. Please add this to the game, Adam. Would be a vast improvement.
iruleall15
This (posted by Slim Jim in the beta feedback thread) would be a good alternative: 10000% this. this should be the final image IMO. Its perfect and removes the need for scrolling to see some skills
awesomenessofme1
Yeah, it feels weird to have to scroll with so much unused space in that section.
Zeel1
It feels like pretty much the whole forum has given Slim Jim's design the nod at this point but I may as well state that it's also a much cleaner solution than the Relevant Stat Priority thing I proposed and it's probably easier to implement as well. So definitely do this instead.
Donners
Either is better than what we have, so it'd be great to have a change if it's feasable.

DeBosco
Agree that this looks great! Also wanted to second southside_hitmens suggestion that the popularity be split as well if possible.
christmas_ape
These are great ideas, the way it's split in the slim jim one I think is perfect. You want it to be recognisable straight away what a workers strengths and weaknesses are so this is spot on.
RatedRKO16
<p>I vote for Slim's. If this were done, it would be enough on its own to persuade me to buy the game, which in its current state I'm not going to do.</p><p> </p><p> Dross would be 2nd</p><p> </p><p> The current layout is a distant 3rd.</p><p> </p><p> Please listen to us Adam. We've noticed you working hard and listening in other areas. rage
Agree with everyone else in here. This would be so much more user friendly and give all the relevant information at a glance.
tormyb
Both suggestions are absolutely great. Brilliant work. Grouping the skills like that is probably my biggest wish for the game.

Slim Jim
<p>For those asking for Popularity update too:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Y6ftQFU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Y6ftQFU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> <img alt="RnkXJsB.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/RnkXJsB.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> It would still need the scroll bar but you can see a lot more of their popularity. If you took them in order you would likely have USA, Canada, Mexico, British Isles in the left column and Japan, Europe, Oceania, India in the right column.</p><p> </p><p> I don't know how the graphics work exactly so splitting into two boxes when switching view might not be possible but trying to make the most of the space, and not sure how often the Recent Headlines box is being used but I wouldn't mind it being on the second screen with Contract Details.</p><p> </p><p> Also, I think the titles for each section (Status, Skills, Popularity, Recent Headlines, etc.) should all be centralised in their boxes for uniformity.</p>
