Monday, June, Week 3 12.35 PM Vince's phone rings... "Vince, great show..." G-Prime says. "Why thank you... It's been a while since I heard from you. I was beginning to think you'd forgotten about me." Vince replies. "How could I forget about you? Nice work using the internet to spread the rumours to save yourself from having to build the JBL co-ownership angle. And I can see the perfect way for you to use it to your advantage... I believe the networks begin looking for new programming in August..." "Yeah, they do... I was thinking about getting a TV deal in Canada, so RAW can play there too." "Screw Canada. Get another deal in the US, bring back Smackdown." "Smackdown? But wouldn't I be better off focusing on one show for now?" "No. Two shows means twice the exposure. And a roster split means more of your talent gets shown off. I'm sure you've got plenty of workers who are royally p*ssed that they get no TV time... Hell, your main event this week looked like it was only there to give two big stars something to do..." "Actually, it was to push Batista before his title shot at Summerslam..." "Oh, of course. Speaking of that title shot... I have a way to make it a little more... Interesting..."

From PWFlashlight.com But enough about Slammiversary... On to RAW... It was a great show this week, although I'll be damned if I know what the hell is going on with this Teddy Hart storyline... Why can't he win a match? How do they expect to get him over by having him lose all the time? And his opponent this week... Ken Anderson? Now, I know he's talented, but why was he announcing himself? That's a tad... odd. Let's hope he doesn't make a habit of it, because that's a strange gimmick to say the least... McMahons vs The Representatives is continuing... About as interesting as ever... Although JBL almost makes it worthwhile... The Title on a Tightrope Match just sounds like an Ultimate X wannabe to me... Except with only one cable. Still, Matt Hardy should win this match, the aerial nature gives him the advantage that Rob Conway needs to regain his title... I think it may be a little too early in the Cena vs Orton feud for a match as heavily gimmicked as 3 Stages Of Hell, but with the way WWE's been running for the last 6 months, it's no surprise they've got another huge match... Should be a huge draw though... HooliganZ vs Backseat Boyz looks to be rather promising, no need for a gimmick in this match, both teams should be able to make this exciting on their own. And of course, there's the inevitable interference by MNM... And it looks like Kurt Angle isn't going to use his title shot until after Summerslam, seeing as he put Batista over clean, seemingly to build up Batista before his title shot. Now on to ROH... And we have a new champion... Chris Sabin?

Monday, June, Week 4 JBL is standing in the ring. “You know, I was sitting back, wondering what to do about this ‘Kane’ situation, when it came to me… I’m the boss around here now, which means I can make any match I want… So how about Kane proves what a monster he is tonight, when he faces the 7-foot tall, 500 pound Big Show!!!” JBL says. (Rating: B) Vince appears on screen. “You’re going to try to weaken my team before Vengeance are you? Well, I’m going to have to do the same to you… Now I can’t put you into a match, just like you can’t put me or my family into a match, but the rest of your team is free game… That’s why, tonight, Mr Grenier is going to face Triple H!” Vince announces. (Rating: B+) “But, clearly, Grenier isn’t a fair trade for Kane, so I’m making another match… Mr Taylor and Mr Tomko are going to face The Briscoe Brothers in a tag team match.” Vince adds. (Rating: C+) The camera cuts to Coach, who is standing by with Randy Orton. “Randy, we’re less than a week away from 3 Stages Of Hell at Vengeance, and I’ve got to ask… What are your thoughts?” Coach asks. “My thoughts? You want to know my thoughts? Coach, John Cena isn’t even going to win a single fall. That’s right, I’m going to beat him in the Streetfight, which he seems to think favours him. And then I’m going to beat him in the First Blood match, and it’s not even going to get to the Submission match.” Orton replies. “But… What if you do make it that far? John Cena has his trademark STF-U, but you don’t have a submission hold like that… What are you going to do?” “What am I going to do? I told you. I’m not going to let it get that far. I’ll beat Cena in two straight falls. Because everyone knows that whoever wins the first fall has a great advantage over his opponent, and the second fall should just be academic. All it will take is one R-K-O and John Cena is going to be busted open like Ric Flair after a blow to the head.” Orton walks off. (Rating: B) The New Hart Foundation’s music hits, and the Stampede Bulldogs enter the ring, Nattie Neidhart close behind. “In case you haven’t noticed, we’re undefeated in tag team competition…” TJ begins. “Now, we know we’re not in charge, but we’re pretty sure that would make us top contenders for the Tag Team Championships. But the powers that be have determined that we have one more match left to prove ourselves… Which is why, at Vengeance, we’re facing MNM. And the winner of that match will go on to be the #1 Contenders at Cyber Sunday. So we’re just here to make a promise to our fans, and our family, that we’re going to win that match, and then at Cyber Sunday, gold is going to finally return to the Hart family, when the Stampede Bulldogs win the WWE Tag Team Championships!” Harry says. (Rating: C) *Commercial* Bobby Lashley is in the ring, mic in hand. The crowd begins to snore. “Apparently dominating Teddy Hart isn’t enough to get this company to give me a little TV time, which is why I’ve got myself a new personal trainer… Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you… 2005 K-1 Japan Grand Prix Champion, and a former IWGP Champion… Bob Sapp.” Lashley says. Music that sounds a little like Goldberg’s hits, and Bob Sapp steps out from behind the curtain, throwing MMA kicks and punches, as pyros go off. He takes a place at ringside as Lashley awaits his opponent. (Rating: C+) (w/)vs Bobby Lashley (w/Bob Sapp) vs Chris Masters Lashley dominates the Masterpiece, picking up an easy victory without interference from his new trainer. (Rating: C) *Break* Cena’s music hits and the crowd pops as he comes down the ramp and into the ring. “Now, I’m sure you all heard Randy Orton’s little interview with Coach. Now, I know it was pretty hard to stay awake through it all, hell, even I dozed off for a second there, but from what I heard, it seems Randy thinks he’s going to beat me two straight falls this weekend…” Cena says. “WHAT?” The crowd yells. “Now, looking at recent history, it seems to me that I’ve won two out of three matches we’ve had together… Now, I’m no mathematician, but I’ve got to say, that kind of favours me…” “WHAT?” “Now, we both know that I’m going to win the Streetfight, which will put me in a decent position to win the First Blood match, and even if, by some twist, I lose one of those falls, because you know I’m not going to lose both, I have a slight advantage… Now I know when I challenged you to this match, I said the last round was pretty even… And it still is, because I know that you’ve got a submission move or two up your sleeve, because you know just as well as me that it’s going to go right down to the wire on that last match. But Randy, it’s not going to be enough. You see, you’ve screwed me out of winning the King of the Ring tournament, and what should have been a free title shot. And that’s p*ssed me off… So after I’ve beaten you to within an inch of your life, I’m going to slap on the STF-U and… Make. You. Tap!” (Rating: A) Orton runs down the ramp and attacks Cena, hitting him with an RKO before escaping through the crowd. (Rating: A) *Break* Teddy Hart is in the ring, Nattie Neidhart at ringside. Heidenreich’s music hits and the big musclehead comes down the ramp. (Rating: C+) Teddy Hart Streak Break Challenge (w/)vs Teddy Hart (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs Heidenreich As always, Teddy looks great in this match, but somehow, Heidenreich overpowers him and hits a Swinging Sidewalk Slam, before getting the pin. (Rating: C+) “I am here with the Tag Team Champions, Johnny Kashmere and Trent Acid. Now guys, how do you feel about your challengers at Vengeance?” Coach says. “How do we feel? We’ve beaten Spanky and London before, hell, we even beat them in the match for these very titles.” Acid says. “And at Vengeance, it’s not going to be any different. There’s only going to be one team left standing at Vengeance, and that’s us.” Kashmere says, (Rating: B) “Now… Oh my god!” Coach says, and the camera turns to see Triple H and Big Show brawling. Triple H appears to gain the upper hand, but Big Show turns the tables, causing Triple H to retreat. (Rating: A*) The camera then moves to show Teddy Hart sitting in a corner, looking upset, being comforted by his cousin Nattie. (Rating: C+) *Break* vs(w/) The Briscoes vs The Representatives (w/JBL) For the first time in weeks, Tomko and Taylor get a victory over what appears to be becoming the WWE’s new job squad. (Rating: B-) *Break* A video recap of the entire Hogan vs Edge storyline, with highlights from last week’s interview playing in the background, and finishing with a graphic for the match at Vengeance (Rating: A*) This is followed by a graphic for the Intercontinental Championship Match, followed by the Team JBL vs Team McMahon Handicap Match, followed by the 3 Stages of Hell, followed by Hell in a Cell. (Rating: A) vs(w/) Big Show vs Kane (w/ Mr McMahon) These two giants are evenly matched, with Big Show getting the upper hand in the end, before Triple H showed up on the ramp, distracting Big Show long enough for Kane to hit him with a Chokeslam, before pinning him. (Rating: B+) Triple H runs down into the ring, and he and Kane beat down Show. (Rating: B+) *Break* vs(w/) Triple H vs Mr Grenier (w/JBL) Triple H just plays with the leader of the Representatives, who is clearly out of his league. He hits the Pedigree, but before he can get the pin, Big Show limps out from backstage and Triple H runs to meet him, and the two begin brawling, forcing the ref to call for the bell, before Big Show Chokeslams Trips on the ramp. Sunday, June, Week 4 Vengeance opens with a video, featuring the feuds between Edge and Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton and John Cena, Triple H and Big Show and Vince McMahon and JBL. (Rating: A) 3 Stages of Hell Stage 1: Steetfight vs John Cena vs Randy Orton It looks like this match has already begun backstage, as the two brawl around the corridors, forcing officials and backstage workers to dodge out of the way. They end up in the parking lot, where Cena F-U's Orton onto the hood of a car and scores the pinfall. (Rating: A*) Orton's not happy at losing the first fall, so he sneaks up behind Cena and RKO's him on the hood of the same car, before smashing his head through the windshield, busting Cena open. (Rating: A) #1 Contenders Match (w/)vs(w/) Stampede Bulldogs (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs MNM (w/Melina) A decent match, the Bulldogs size and technical prowess matched by MNM's experience and speed. The match ends when Melina gets involved, resulting in Nattie attacking her, and both teams leaving the ring to pry them apart, resulting in a double count-out. (Rating: B-) When both teams realise what's just happened, they forget about the women and begin fighting each other. (Rating: B-) We see Matt Hardy in a studio somewhere, apparently this is a prerecorded promo... "I was stripped of the Intercontinental Championship that I worked so hard to win, due to Rob Conway's hypocrisy. And it seems that even Vince McMahon knows that's wrong... Which is why he's booked the two of us in a match that clearly favours me. You see, where Rob Conway prefers to beat up his opponents and to wrestle them, my style is... Let's just say, I'm more elevated than he is. This is a match that requires one to be able to climb quickly, and it seems like I've been doing that my entire career, in Ladder matches, TLC matches... You name it... So I promise you all that I am going to leave Vengeance the Intercontinental Champion!" Matt says. (Rating: B) Backstage at the arena now, Jonathan Coachman is standing by with Rob Conway. "Rob, do you have any comments for Matt Hardy, regarding your match tonight?" Coach asks. "Comments? Matt Hardy thinks he'll win because he climbs fast? Well tell me, what good is that going to be when he's lying lifeless on the ground? I can take all the time I want climbing the pole and across the rope, because Matt Hardy will be powerless to stop me. And then I will regain what is rightfully mine... The Intercontinental Championship..." Conway replies, before walking off. (Rating: C+) WWE Intercontinental Championship Title On A Tightrope Match vs Rob Conway vs Matt Hardy A back and forth match, with a couple of attempts to climb the pole by both competitors, however they were all premature. Matt Hardy takes control after a while, and whips Conway into the ropes, before hitting a flapjack. However, whilst in mid-air, Conway snatches the title from the cable and brings it back to earth with him. (Rating: B+) Triple H is standing backstage. "Big Show, careers have been ended in Hell in a Cell. Mick Foley and Kevin Nash are just two people who's lives have been ruined by me in Hell in a Cell. Even the referee isn't safe, just ask Tim White... Big Show, tonight will be the end of our little fight. Tonight, you will finally fully understand why I am the King of Kings." (Rating: A) 3 Stages of Hell Stage 2: First Blood vs John Cena vs Randy Orton Cena's head is bandaged from the earlier attack by Orton, who wastes no time in tearing the bandage off. Cena however, valiantly fought off Randy's attempts to reopen the wound for at least ten minutes, before Randy gets a lucky shot and smashes Cena's head into the ring post, which causes Cena to bleed profusely. (Rating: A*) Backstage, Kurt Angle bursts into Vince McMahon's office. "VINCE! What the hell are you thinking? I am the greatest superstar on the planet! I won two fricken gold medals! I am a two-time King of the fricken Ring! And you've left me off the card? I should kick your ass! This is a travesty, and someone's going to pay. Oh it's true. It's DAMN true." He yells, before storming out. (Rating: A*) "You want a match? Then how does the main event tomorrow night on RAW sound? Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker!" Vince yells out the open door. (Rating: A*) Coach is standing backstage with Edge. "Edge, what are your thoughts regarding what could be your last title match?" Coach asks. "What'd you just say? My last title match? Coach, were you dropped at birth? Because it's clear to me that anyone with an IQ higher than their shoe size knows that Hulk Hogan is a washed up nobody. Tonight, it's not about if I'm going to win the title back, it's about when I decide that I've toyed with Hulk Hogan enough, and it's no longer fun for me. I'm going to leave Vengeance the WWE Champion, and Hulk Hogan will never be on RAW again." Edge says, storming off. (Rating: B-) At that exact moment, Randy Orton walks past. "Randy, I just wanted to ask your thoughts on the final stage of your 3 Stages of Hell match..." Coach says, catching up to him. "My thoughts? Cena may have won the first stage, but I was the only one who left that parking lot under my own power. It was the same for the second fall. And the third fall isn't going to be any different. John Cena's going to tap out and I'm going to leave Vengeance with the knowledge that I, Randy Orton, am the future of the WWE." Orton replies c*ckily. (Rating: B) WWE Tag Team Championships vs(w/) Backseat Boyz vs HooliganZ (w/Trish Stratus) In a high-flying spotfest spectacular that would put TNA to shame, the Backseat Boyz successfully defend their titles. (Rating: A) The Backseat Boyz grab their belts and climb the turnbuckles in celebration, to a chorus of boos. (Rating: B+) John Cena is backstage, having his head tended to, when he notices the camera. "Orton! You think you can do this to me and get away with it? I'm going to settle this once and for all... I'm going to repay you for all the damage you've caused, and then, I'm going to lock you into the STF-U and Make. You. Tap!" He says. (Rating: A) Team McMahon vs Team JBL Kane does most of the work, taking care of Tomko and Taylor at once, whilst JBL and Vince brawl outside the ring and Shane and Grenier fight up the ramp. Kane lifts Tomko over his head and throws him out of the ring onto JBL, before Chokeslamming Taylor in the middle of the ring and pinning him. (Rating: B) The McMahons join Kane in the ring, before Kane does his pyros. (Rating: B+) 3 Stages of Hell Third Stage: Submission vs John Cena vs Randy Orton Surprisingly, these guys put on a semi-decent show of chain wrestling, and early STF-U attempt sees Orton reaching the ropes, and Cena does the same after being held in a figure-four leglock late in the match. Cena fights back though, but Randy Orton manages to whip him into the ropes and hit a drop-toehold, before rolling into... an STF-U! In the middle of the ring, Cena can't reach the ropes, and he taps out. (Rating: A*) Orton poses in the ring for a while. However, Hulk hits his match-winning combo and gets the cover. 1...2... NO! Edge gets his shoulder up. Hulk can't believe it, but lifts Edge up for another body slam, but Edge counters and rolls him up with a small package for a two-count, before Hulk kicked out. The two brawl around for a while, with Edge once more gaining the upper hand, before hitting an Impaler DDT and pinning for a long two-count. Edge is enraged, and stomps away on Hulk's face, before heading to the corner and signalling for the Spear. Hulk stands up and is bagged by the Spear, 1...2...3! Edge is the NEW WWE Champion!!! (Rating: A*) Edge stands over Hulk, holding the title in the air, while smoke machines go off and a strobe light flashes. Big Show hits a chokeslam after 20 minutes, and scores the pin on a bloody Triple H, who is stretchered out, as Big Show falls to his knees, barely able to stand... Nice PPV, buddy. I like your writing up of matches too, short, cover the main talking points and are interesting. Very nice. And I love how even though perhaps the greatest wrestling icon ever, Hulk Hogan, drops the strap (and maybe passes the torch) to an up and comer, Triple H still gets in the main event! So realistic! :p
Lol, I figured, just explaining myself just in case.
Lol yeah I understood thanks man! It just seems so much like a WWE thing to do to have a Triple H match in the Main Event, rather than the title change which saw a passing of a torch. But I get why you did it. Great diary, again. And a nice show. I liked having a 2 out of 3 falls that spread over the course of the show, would you mind if I stole that for my diary at some point?! Cheeky little request I know!

Knock yourself out dude. I just thought it made a little more sense, with the various gimmick matches, to space it out a little, give the guys time to 'heal their injuries'. And also, it keeps the crowd pumped up between lower-card matches, to raise their ratings too.
