Ok guys, my laptop's power cord is busted, so my laptop, and therefore my only copy of TEW is dead in the water. I don't know when I'll be able to replace it, I might even have a new one tonight, but just letting y'all know so you don't think I've died.

Monday, July, Week 1 The arena goes dark and Edge’s music hits, the strobes and the smoke machines start on the ramp, and the NEW WWE Champion heads down to the ring. “Well-“ Edge is cut off by the crowd’s boos. He pauses for a few seconds, but then realises they’re not going to stop. “Get over it!” He yells, inciting the crowd further. “Last night, I beat the ‘legendary’ Hulk Hogan 1…2…3. And there’s no disputing it this time. I beat him fair and square. And he’s never coming back. That’s right, I have succeeded where so many have failed… I ended the career of Hulk Hogan! You will never, ever see him again on RAW, I promise you that.” Edge says, and the crowd boos louder. “But don’t worry folks, there’s a new Icon in professional wrestling… A new Legend… A new Champion… Me. Edge. I’m going to lead this business into a new era. And this era will be Rated… R. And no-one will stand in my way-“ Edge is cut off by… (Rating: A*) “Welllll. Well it’s the Big Show…” The Big Show’s music hits, and the 7 ft tall giant joins Edge in the ring. “No-one will stand in your way? Edge, I beg to differ. Now, in case you’ve forgotten, I’ve got a guaranteed title shot, which I can use any time I like. And I remember promising that as soon as Hulk Hogan lost that title, I’d cash it in… And well, look what happened… You beat him. You’re the new champ. But now, you’ve got to face a 7 ft, 500 lb Giant. Because I’m now the #1 Contender to the WWE Championship for Cyber Sunday!” Big Show says, and the crowd pops. (Rating: A) “Hey! Nothing you can say, nothing’s gonna change what you’ve done to me-” “Cut the music!” Orton shouts. “Big Show! You may have beaten Triple H in a Hell in a Cell match, but that doesn’t mean you deserve the title shot… I beat John Cena twice last night! I am the future of the WWE. That title shot should be mine!” He says. ”I won this title shot before Hell in a Cell, I won a Ladder match for the contract my title shot is written on, so just get the hell out of here and let the grown-ups talk.” Show replies. “I don’t care if you won Hell in a Cell, a Ladder Match or the *censored*in’ Royal Rumble, I deserve a shot at that title, and you don’t. The only reason you won that Ladder match is because you could reach the damn contract from the third rung of the ladder.” “Oh yeah? Well why-“ And Show is cut off by… (Rating: A*) The screams from the women in attendance as John Cena’s music hits. “Wait, wait, wait Big Show… Don’t worry. Randy’s not taking your title shot, because it’s not over between us…” Cena says. ”What the hell are you talking about?” Orton asks. “Exactly what I said… We’re not done yet. You won on Sunday, sure. But you had to blindside me between falls to get the job done. You proved nothing, except that you’re a sneaky little bastard.” Cena says. “What? I busted you open and I made you tap. What more do you need?” Orton is getting mad. “I want revenge. You made me tap out to my own move, and that p*ssed me off. And you come out here, talking about how you’re the future of the WWE? You can’t even beat me fair and square. If either of us deserves a title shot, it’s me.” Cena says. (Rating: A) “Behold the King… The King of Kings… On your knees dog!” Triple H runs down the ramp, with a sledgehammer, and nails Big Show right between the eyes, as everyone else slides out of the ring and up the ramp, as Triple H stands in the ring, daring them to join him. (Rating: A*) JBL appears on the ‘Tron. “Well, it seems we have our first match booked for Cyber Sunday… The WWE Champion defends his title against the Big Show. But this is Cyber Sunday, it has to be interactive… So why don’t we make it a triple-threat match? Edge vs Big Show vs the fan’s choice of Randy Orton, John Cena or Triple H!!!” He says. (Rating: A*) *Break* Coach is standing by with Kurt Angle. ”Vince McMahon thinks that putting me in the RAW main event will make up for leaving me off Vengeance? You’ve gotta be freakin’ kidding me. Tonight I’m going to be fighting the Undertaker, and I’m going to beat him, just like I did last time, and just like I will next time. You see, I’m the only person in the locker room who isn’t scared of the Undertaker. I’m going to destroy him!” Kurt gets a crazy look in his eyes. “I’m going to beat him to within an inch of his life… or his death… And then I’m going to BREAK HIS ANKLE!!!” He begins foaming at the mouth. (Rating: B) Carlito wanders up. ”You’re facing the Undertaker tonight? Good luck… But foaming at the mouth? That’s not cool.” Carlito says. (Rating: A*) ”That’s not cool huh? Well is this cool?” Kurt asks, punching Carlito in the side of the head, knocking him down before he starts stomping on him, and getting him in the Angle Lock. (Rating: A*) Teddy Hart Streak Break Challenge (w/)vs(w/) Teddy Hart (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs ‘Five Star Flash’ Mark Belton (w/William Regal) Teddy Hart puts his losing streak up against Belton’s winning streak, and the two put on a good match, and Teddy looks like he’s got it won, but a distraction from Regal gives Five Star Flash the chance to get on the top rope and hit a Stamp of Approval, before covering Hart for the win. (Rating: C+) *Break* Vince McMahon is in his office. “Last night, we crowned a new Intercontinental Champion, and it’s now come to my attention that we need a #1 Contender for Cyber Sunday… Which is why I’m opening up the polls… Anyone not already involved in a match for Cyber Sunday will be in the running. Anybody. You could pick Steve the camera guy for all I care, so long as he or she doesn’t already have a match…” He says. (Rating: A) Harry Smith and TJ Wilson come into Vince’s office, Nattie Neidhart close behind. ”Vince, we’re undefeated… We want the Cyber Sunday Tag Title shot.” TJ says. “Fine, pick a match.” Vince replies. “We want a Ladder Match.” Harry replies. ”A Ladder Match? But why?” Vince asks. ”They were invented in Stampede Wrestling. And Uncle Bret won the first ever Ladder Match in WWE history, that’s why.” Harry explains. “So they’re facing the Backseat Boyz in a Ladder Match at Cyber Sunday?” Harry asks. “No.” Vince says simply. “What? But you just said…” TJ trails off. “Not necessarily…” Vince says. (Rating: C+) ”You see, at Cyber Sunday, the fans have to make a decision. Which is why, I’m allowing multiple challengers to the Tag Team Championships. And each challenger chooses a type of match… These three match types become the choices for the fans… You chose a Ladder Match, which is now Option A. Now, the other challengers will get their turn to choose their match later… Oh, the other challengers are MNM… And the HARDY BOYZ!!!” Vince announces, and the crowd’s reaction is clearly audible, even backstage. (Rating: B) Coach is backstage with Ken Anderson. ”Ken, you must be exci-“ Coach is cut off. “What did you just call me?” Anderson asks. “Ken… That’s yo-“ Coach is cut off again. ”That’s Mr Anderson to you.” Anderson says. “Of course… I’m sorry K… Mr Anderson. Now, you must be excited about the possibility that you could be chosen to go to Cyber Sunday as the #1 Contender to the Intercontinental Championship.” Coach asks. “Excited? I’m not excited. I know that I can beat Rob Conway. I know that if these fans choose me... No, when these fans choose me… There will be a NEW Intercontinental Champion… And tonight, I’m going to prove it in a Fatal Four-Way against Rene Dupree, Heidenreich and Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger. It will start with four people, but it will end with one… And it will be my hand that is raised in victory. My name that will be announced… Here is your winner…Mr. Anderson.” He walks away. Coach goes to speak, but Ken returns. “Anderson.” He repeats, before leaving again. “That match is next…” Coach says. (Rating: B-) *Break* vs Jushin ‘Thunder’ Liger vs Ken Anderson vs Heidenreich vs Rene Dupree The four men all want to show they’ve got what it takes for an Intercontinental Championship shot, but Ken Anderson seems to out-wrestle all of them, even Liger. And Heidenreich’s size doesn’t make him any less vulnerable to a Kenton Bomb, which leads to a three-count. (Rating: B) The Hardy Boyz are backstage, the crowd pops. “Well, you’ve heard it by now, the Hardy Boyz are back together, and we’ve got a shot at the Tag Team Championships at Cyber Sunday.” Jeff says. “But what match could we possibly want? I mean, the Stampede Bulldogs have already chosen our signature match… We revolutionized the Ladder Match… What else could we possibly choose Jeff?” Matt asks. “Gee, I don’t know… What else is there?” Jeff asks. They both stand there looking at each other, before they both smile and look into the camera, both speaking at once…“TLC.” “You see, Jeff and I, we’ve been involved in just about every TLC match in the WWE’s history. Hell, Jeff has been in every TLC match in history. And the other teams in this match have never competed in one. So now it’s A. Ladders or B. Tables, Ladders and Chairs… What’s C going to be MNM? Does it really matter?” Matt asks. (Rating: B-) *Break* A graphic appears on screen, showing that next week we’ll see John Cena and The Big Show facing Triple H and Randy Orton. Corny: And I don’t like Cena and Show’s chances… They’re facing the backbone of one of the greatest alliances in WWE history, in the two former members of Evolution. Joey: But you can’t rule out the combined power of two multiple-time former champions. (Rating: A) vs Kurt Angle vs The Undertaker Once more, these two legends of the sport face each other, this time with nothing on the line except pride. They steal the show, in a MOTY candidate. Unfortunately, the ending isn’t as good as the match, with Carlito running down to the ring and distracting Angle before Taker hit him with a Chokeslam. Taker wins 1…2…3 (Rating: A) The show closes with Angle beating Carlito up. (Rating: A) Overall: B+ Attendance: 1000 Rating: 185, 166

More choices to come, of course. Can't just have 3 matches now can I? When I've announced all the matches and choices, I'll get y'all to PM your votes, keeps it anonymous that way ;) But wait until I say they're all there, it'll make it easier to keep track of.

From PWFlashlight.com Well, WWE has found a way to give most of their big stars something to do... Unfortunately, they won't all get to wrestle... But I'm sure WWE will find a way around that. Now, for those of you who don't understand it, Cyber Sunday is just like last year's Taboo Tuesday, except... It's on Sunday. Apparently WWE figured out it's a dumb idea to have a PPV on Tuesday. And it's been mobed forward a couple of months too... Taboo Tuesday was late October/early November, but Cyber Sunday is now in July, apparently the bookers couldn't think of anything better to do for now... Another solid show from WWE, mostly just the set-up for the main matches at CS, which should be a good show, although it'll be overrun with gimmick matches. I hope they bring back the Fulfill Your Fantasy Diva Battle Royal, it's nice filler... Apparently WWE has signed former Diva Search contestant Maria Kanellis to an exclusive deal, which makes me hope for the FYFDBR even more, she was HOT! Now, onto the biggest news of the week... Today, Bryan Clark was jailed on assault charges and sentenced to 6 months imprisonment. The assault can't have been too bad if they're giving him a sentence that short...

Monday, July, Week 2 The show opens with Coach backstage with Carlito. “Last week Kurt Angle attacked you not once, but twice. Do you have anything to say to him?” Coach asks. “Do I have anything to say? I have one thing to say… Kurt, what you did last week wasn’t cool. But you know what is? Carlito vs Kurt Angle at Cyber Sunday… That’s cool. So what do you think Kurt?” Carlito says. (Rating: B-) The screen then shows Vince McMahon’s office, Vince sitting behind the desk. ”Folks, I hope you haven’t forgotten about my little rivalry with JBL… In fact, just to remind you, I’m making a match at Cyber Sunday… Kane vs one of the Representatives… And you get to decide which one.” Vince says. (Rating: C+) Now, in the ring, ‘Five Star Flash’ Mark Belton stands with William Regal. “Last week, Mark Belton proved his dominance once more with a win over Teddy Hart, so this week… The Teddy Hart Streak Challenge has been cancelled… So that Mark Belton can make his own open challenge, which is less of a waste of time than watching Teddy Hart lose every week…” Regal says. (Rating: C-) (w/)vs Mark Belton (w/William Regal) vs Antonio Banks Yet another Mark Belton squash victory, as Five Star Flash hits a Five Star Frog Splash for the cover. (Rating: D) Belton and Regal’s celebration is short-lived however, as a hooded ‘spectator’ jumps the railing and slides into the ring, nailing Belton in the back with a standing dropkick, before hitting a… Hart Attack? The attacker then removes his hood to reveal that he is in fact, Teddy Hart, as Regal grabs Belton and slides him out of the ring. (Rating: C-) *Break* Kurt Angle is in the ring, mic in hand. ”Carlito, you’re challenging me to a match at Cyber Sunday? Me, Kurt Angle? Are you freakin’ crazy? I accept your challenge, but there’s one thing I wanna know… It’s Cyber Sunday, so what’s the catch? What do the fans get to vote for?” He says. (Rating: A) Carlito’s music hits and Carlito enters the arena, stopping at the top of the ramp. “You accept Kurt? That’s cool.” Carlito says. “But about our match… It’s not going to be one-on-one… It’s going to be a Viewer’s Choice Mystery Partner Match. You see Kurt, we’re both going to pick two potential partners, and let the fans choose who our partners are going to be for Cyber Sunday.” The crowd seems to like this idea, as they cheer. “See, even the fans know that Carlito’s idea is cool.” (Rating: A) Backstage now, MNM are standing by… “Mr McMahon wants us to pick our stipulation for the Tag Team Championship match at Cyber Sunday. It’s a tough decision, I mean, what match could we possibly have an advantage in? What match could we possibly choose that the fans are going to choose over a TLC match, or a Ladder match?” Mercury begins. “There’s nothing. We know how much you fans love watching the Hardy Boyz do their stupid little stunts off the ladders, which is why we’re going to go the other way…” Nitro adds. “You see, our choice, isn’t high-flying, it’s not hardcore… It’s the exact opposite. My boys here, they aren’t like the Hardys, or the Bulldogs or the Backseat Boyz, you see, MNM, we’re beautiful people. And we can’t afford to ruin our looks in a TLC match, or a ladder match. So our stipulation is… Regular Rules, Tornado Tag Elimination Match. But don’t misunderstand me, it doesn’t really matter what stipulation the fans choose, because after Cyber Sunday, the Tag Team Champions will be: M.” Melina says. ”N.” Nitro says. ”M.” Mercury finishes. (Rating: C+) Backstage we see Ken Anderson, Jimmy Yang and William Regal arguing, but the camera’s not close enough for the microphone to pick up what they’re saying. Joey: Why are those guys arguing? What could they possibly have against each other? Corny: How the hell should I know? Do I look like a mind-reader to you? Then Anderson makes the ‘title’ motion around his waist… Joey: I think that says it all… Those three guys all want that Intercontinental Championship shot at Cyber Sunday… Corny: Gee, do ya think? (Rating: B-) *Break* vs(w/) Hardy Boyz vs Stampede Bulldogs (w/Nattie Neidhart) Two of the three contenders in Cyber Sunday’s Tag Team Title Match meet in a match to show who is the best. However, we won’t get to find out until Sunday, as MNM run down to the ring and attack the Stampede Bulldogs, resulting in a DQ victory. (Rating: B) The Backseat Boyz attack the Hardy Boyz, resulting in a four-team brawl around the arena, as security tries to pry them apart. (Rating: B-) *Break* In the interview area, we see Edge, standing with an unfamiliar woman. An incredibly hot, unfamiliar woman. “I’m here with the WWE Champion Edge… Edge, what are your thoughts about your match against Big Show and the fan’s choi-“ She begins, but Edge cuts her off. “Who the hell are you?” He asks. “I’m Maria… I’m here to interview you.” She replies. “Well, you’re a lot easier on the eyes than Coach, that’s for sure…” Edge says. ”Thank you!” Maria. “Anyway, as for Big Show, I don’t care if he’s 7 feet tall, 500 lbs… I’m the champion for a reason… I’m not scared of that lummox. Size isn’t everything.. Just look at Wrestlemania 3… Hulk Hogan defeated Andre The Giant… Look at the size difference there… Now, fast-forward to Vengeance 2006, Edge defeated Hulk Hogan. Ended his career. I don’t need a reputation for beating giants Big Show, I beat the giant-killer himself, the man who beat Andre. And trust me when I say this Show, you’re no Andre. Hell, you’re not even in Hulk Hogan’s league. And you know what that means? You barely even register as anything more than a mere annoyance to the Rated R Superstar. At Cyber Sunday, you’re just going to be another victim… And you’d better pray that you don’t get the same treatment that Hulk got at Vengeance.” (Rating: A) ”But what about Triple H, John Cena and Randy Orton?” Maria asks. ”What about Triple H, John Cena and Randy Orton?” Edge imitates. “Listen, Big Show beat Triple H twice, if Big Show’s not a threat, why should I worry about him? Triple H may have held this title about a million times, but then again… So did Hulk Hogan. John Cena? Don’t make me laugh. He’s the man Hulk Hogan beat for the title at Wrestlemania, if Hulk can beat him, I can do it with my eyes closed. The only man in this match that I respect is Randy Orton. The youngest world champion in history. He understands that in order to get anywhere in this business, you need to create a little controversy. It doesn’t matter if the fans like you, it’s about winning. We’re a lot alike, young Randy and I… But that won’t make a difference. At Cyber Sunday, if he’s the fan’s choice, I’ll beat him, just like I’ll beat the other guys. Randy Orton may be the ‘Legend Killer’ but I killed the greatest legend of them all.” (Rating: A) JBL is in his office. ”Vince McMahon thinks that he’s winning our little feud, just because he booked a match between his pet monster and one of my guys? That just proves he’s a senile old fool. But I accept his challenge anyway… And I’m going to show him what it takes to get ahead… It’s booking matches that’re going to make money… That’s why I’m announcing the Fulfil Your Fantasy Diva Battle Royal for Cyber Sunday, where the fans get to choose what our lovely divas wear to the ring… So is it going to be A. Schoolgirl Uniforms, B. Lingerie, or C. Evening Wear?” He says, as the male half of the crowd cheers loudly. (Rating: C+) In the backstage area, Carlito is walking alone, when out of nowhere he is blindsided by Kurt Angle and… Booker T? They beat him down for a while, before Angle leans over him and says “I see you’ve met my first choice for a partner at Cyber Sunday?” “You chose Booker T? That’s cool… My choice is right behind you…” Carlito says, smiling regardless of his injuries. Angle stands up and looks at Booker, before they both turn around. A hand clutches both of their throats as they are Chokeslammed by… The Undertaker!!! (Rating: A*) *Break* (w/)vs Bobby Lashley (w/Bob Sapp) vs Hardcore Holly Little more than an extra-long squash match for Bobby Lashley, showcasing his abilities. Lashley hits The Dominator after about ten minutes. The pin is a mere formality. (Rating: C+) Bob Sapp grabs a mic. ”That’s what training with Bob Sapp gives you… I’m like a corporation, and Bobby Lashley here is my product, and he’s the best on the market… Now, we were arguing earlier about what to call said corporation, I wanted Bob Sapp Incorporated, and he wanted Bobby Lashley Incorporated, so we settled on Bob Incorporated… And we’re going to monopolize on this company’s titles, starting with the Intercontinental Championship at Cyber Sunday, because honestly, who’s a better choice than Bobby Lashley for the title shot?” Sapp says, whilst Lashley stands there and flexes. (Rating: B-) *Break* vs John Cena and Big Show vs Randy Orton and Triple H Four of the biggest stars in the company meet in the ring, neither team seems to be getting along. At around the 15 minute mark, Triple H distracts the ref, while Orton low-blows Cena and goes for the pin. There’s noone to count the pin, so Orton grabs the ref. Trips makes a blind tag and jumps into the ring, while Orton continues to argue with the ref. Triple H hits Cena with a Pedigree, and pins him. This time, the referee turns to see it and counts it 1…2…3. (Rating: A) Orton grabs Triple H and starts yelling at him, Triple H just smiles and turns away. Orton taps him on the shoulder and when he turns back, hits him with an RKO. Orton then grabs a chair and slams in into his head a couple of times. From PWFlashlight News Ticker: The promotion wars put strains on more friendships... Samoa Joe and CM Punk, and Randy Orton and Mark Jindrak are no longer friends. However, in light of this bad news, John Hennigan (WWE's Johnny Nitro) and Melina Perez (WWE's Melina) are proud to announce their engagement. Now if only they had some chemistry on screen... I wish I had someone better to take the title from him, but it's the only way to preserve the Cyber Sunday Main Event... Which is now Big Show vs Orton/Trips/Cena. Gyahh! He even screwed up this week's RAW main event... I HATE HIM!!!
At least you're not bitter, though! :D You're doing a great job with this, G-Prime, and I look forward to reading a whole lot more of this! Just do me one favor, though, and completely bury Hogan! Please?! :D :p

That's a damn shame with Edge. That's why, when I'm a small company with written contracts, I Jesus push guys with a lot of time left until their expiry. I did, however, find that out the hard way. It is a shame for you though, especially as I don't really like the Big Show. I liked him in WCW, but after he left there I went off him a bit. But I know you didn't have a choice as Cyber Sunday is coming up. Also a shame that you've had to have 4 World title changes in such a short space of time. Man, Edge really did screw you over, didn't he?! At least you gave him the appropriate burial, though.

Worst part is, I had to create a Saturday PPV, because I couldn't use him as he was technically under contract to WWE and WCW, and WCW is his priority, and Sunday was Bash at the Beach, and RAW was up against Nitro. I'll also be jobbing him out at my 'house show', a Big event that I book myself, to increase WWE's overness outside of North America... And I lost my last PPV deal. Not a good week for me. I've got 2 weeks to get a new one. I had to import FOTORC's PPV Carriers, because this one's got about 10 carriers, and FOTORC's got a lot more, different sized carriers, which helps out the little guys like me.

From PWFlashlight.com I don't think I've ever been as pissed off as I am right now. Adam Copeland is bailing on the company that made him everything he is today, and joining the enemy. Granted, the money's good, and he has his 'job security', but this hurts the WWE in ways it can't afford. Vince McMahon pushed Edge to the top of the company, beating Hulk Hogan, the torch was passed, Edge was the superstar of the future... And then what happened? The bastard deserted. I've got to say, Edge is one Canadian I wouldn't mind seeing get screwed out of the title. But he lost it, in the burial of the century. But to Big Show? Couldn't they just have changed the Cyber Sunday Main Event? I mean, honestly... Big Show? I have no words to describe how this week is making me feel, I hate Edge so much right now... And the stupid little PPV WWE had to make, so Edge could be jobbed out has lost WWE their deal with the only PPV provider that hadn't dropped them yet. I've decided that I'm boycotting WCW until they drop that blond son of a bitch, so there's no Bash at the Beach review for you.

Monday, July, Week 3 The show opens with it’s usual pyros, and then The Big Show’s music hits. To the surprise of many present, Big Show comes down to the ring with the WWE Title over his shoulder. “Saturday night, I beat that traitor Edge to within an inch of his life, and as my prize, I took his WWE Title. For those of you who missed it, here’s the video…” Big Show says, as a highlight video of the match plays. “You see, by betraying this company, he pissed me off, so I took it upon myself to make sure he didn’t leave this company with this.” Big Show holds the title in the air. “Of course, I was the best option for the match, because now the Cyber Sunday Main Event is Big Show vs the Viewer’s Choice of opponent, now that Edge is out of the equation. And we know that none of the possibilities can beat a 7-foot tall, 500 pound giant!” Big Show says. (Rating: A) Backstage, we see Triple H talking to John Cena. “Listen John, I’ve got a match against Randy Orton tonight, and it’s a tag team match, except… I don’t have a partner. And I know that you hate Orton more than anybody, and you probably want revenge for him low-blowing you last week. So what do you say? We forget about Cyber Sunday for tonight and go out there and beat the crap out of Orton?” Trips says. “Hunter… You’ve got yourself a partner.” Cena says. (Rating: A) *Break* In the ring, Teddy Hart stands with Nattie Neidhart. ”Belton! You son of a bitch! I want you in this ring for a rematch tonight! Get your ass down here. No one disrespects a Hart like you did and gets away with it!” Teddy yells. (Rating: C+) Backstage, we see William Regal talking to Kurt Angle. When he spots the camera, we hear him say “Ok, it’s a deal.” And Angle walks away. (Rating: B+) “You want a rematch? Fine, Mark is on his way. But believe me when I tell you, you don’t stand a chance.” Regal says. (Rating: C-) Corny: Is he kidding? Why the hell would he want to face the Five Star Flash again? He’s undefeated. Joey: But Belton cheated to win, and then disrespected Teddy, and that’s got Teddy mad, and if there’s anything you want to avoid in this industry, it’s making a Hart mad… (Rating: C+) (w/)vs(w/) Teddy Hart (w/Nattie Neidhart) vs Mark Belton (w/William Regal) Teddy fights like a man possessed, Belton hardly even gets a chance to defend himself, however a little interference from Regal is all it takes to turn the match around, at least, that’s how it seems… A surprise DDT from Teddy Hart turns the match back his way, but rather than capitalize, Teddy decides to get a little revenge on Regal, with a springboard crossbody out of the ring on top of him. Teddy jumps back into the ring and gets Belton into a Sharpshooter, forcing him to tap out. (Rating: C-) *Break* Big Show is walking backstage, and Orton runs up to him. ”Hey Show, I’ve been looking all over for you… Listen, tonight I’m facing Triple H and John Cena in a tag team match, and I need a part-“ Orton begins. “No.” Show says simply. “I didn’t even get to as-“ ”No. I won’t be your partner. I’d rather see my opponents for Cyber Sunday beat each other to a pulp, that way, no matter who gets chosen, I’ll destroy them.” “But you’ll destroy them anyway, I mean, look at Edge…” ”Listen Orton, as much as I’d like to get my hands on Triple H again, I don’t want to help you out. Orton, you make me sick, it’s as simple as that. Now get out of my way before I make you…” Show says, and Orton steps aside, letting him past. (Rating: A) Teddy Hart is heading to his locker room, when he is stopped by Carlito. ”You saw Kurt Angle talking to William Regal earlier… You know what that means?” Carlito says. “Ummm, not really, no.” Teddy replies, trying to get past him. ”It means that Angle’s other choice for a partner at Cyber Sunday is going to be Mark Belton. And, seeing as you just beat him tonight, I want you as my partner.” Carlito says. “You want me as your partner? What’s in it for me?” Teddy asks. “What’s in it for you? You get to be on the coolest team in the WWE. And you could get another shot at Mark Belton, after he disrespected you. And, you get to live up to your family name when you face Kurt Angle. What do you think about that?” Carlito asks. “That’s cool.” Teddy says, shaking Carlito’s hand. (Rating: B-) *Break* (w/) vs (w/) The Backseat Boyz & MNM (w/Melina) vs The Hardy Boyz and The Stampede Bulldogs (w/Nattie Neidhart) Everyone gets a turn in this match, which ends when Johnny Kashmere pins Matt Hardy, grabbing the tights to ensure victory. (Rating: B) The four teams brawl around for a while after. (Rating: B-) *Break* Kurt Angle is backstage in the interview area, alone. ”Carlito… You think Mark Belton’s my second choice? What are you, freakin’ stupid? Why the hell would I want a rookie, when I can have a veteran? Why would I want that flip-flopping little man, when I could have a partner whose technical prowess is second only to mine. A man who is known across the world as one of the toughest men around. Why would I want Five Star Flash, when I can have his manager… William Regal.” Angle says, and Regal joins him on camera. (Rating: A) Carlito and Teddy Hart come out of nowhere and jump them, Booker T makes the save, but the Undertaker shows up and takes all three of them out. (Rating: A) Vince appears on screen, in his office. “You guys want a fight so bad? Then next week, it’s Carlito, Teddy Hart and The Undertaker, facing the Representatives.” Vince says. (Rating: C+) JBL appears next, in his own office. ”Wait a second Vince, that’s not fair, which is why, next week, we’ll be seeing Kane taking on Kurt Angle and Booker T.” (Rating: A) *Break* vsvs Funaki vs Chris Masters vs Masato Tanaka Just three more midcarders proving they have what it takes to be a contender for the IC title. Masters pins Funaki for the win. (Rating: B) *Break* Orton comes to the ring alone. “It took me a while to find a partner for tonight. The Big Show didn’t want to help me take Triple H apart, so I found another person who hates him just as much… if not more… My partner, and fellow former Evolution member… BATISTA!!!” Batista comes out to a mixed crowd reaction, people aren’t sure whether to cheer him for being him, or boo him for teaming with Orton. (Rating: A) vs Batista and Randy Orton vs John Cena and Triple H Face/Heel vs Face/Heel makes for a weird match… Batista wins with a pin over John Cena. Monday, July, Week 4 The pyros go off, and we are inmmediately sent backstage to Maria. “I’m here with Randy Orton. Tonight, you’re facing John Cena and Triple H, and Sunday, you’re against them in the voting for a shot at the WWW Championship. Do you think you’ll win?” Maria asks. “Do I think I’ll win? Of course I think I’ll win. I’ll win tonight, against two guys I’ve fought before, and beaten before. And at Cyber Sunday, the fans will choose me to fight the Big Show, and I’ll beat him like he beat Edge. Randy Orton’s time is near.” Orton says. (Rating: B+) (w/) vs (w/) Carlito, The Undertaker and Teddy Hart (w/ Nattie Neidhart) vs The Representatives (w/JBL) Not surprisingly, Carlito’s Team completely pwn the Representatives, with Taker scoring a Chokeslam and a pin on Tomko. (Rating: B) Kane’s music hits and he charges down to the ring, grabbing Tomko and Chokeslamming him again. JBL and the other Representatives are nowhere in sight, they appear to have retreated through the crowd, leaving Kane to maul Tomko. He throws him out of the ring, and climbs out after him, before Chokeslamming him through the announce table and choking him with some cables. (Rating: C-) *Break* “I’m Jonathan Coachman, and I’m here with Ke… Mr Anderson. Mr Anderson, tonight you’re facing Spanky… What are your thoughts?” Coach says. “My thoughts? I don’t have any thoughts. This guy calls himself ‘Spanky’ for god sakes, he doesn’t even take himself seriously. What makes him think he deserves to be in the same ring as me? I outweigh him by about 60 lbs, I’m faster, stronger and more talented than he’ll ever be. Spanky is merely an obstacle to me. A very, very minor obstacle on my path to championship gold!” Mr Anderson says. (Rating: B-) “Of course, you’re referring to the Intercontinental Championship match at Cyber Sunday, you’re confident you’ll have the fans votes?” Coach asks. “Confident? I am the FUTURE of Sports Entertainment. I am single-handedly changing Monday nights. The people see that. They understand that I am too good to go unrecognised by Mr McMahon and Mr Layfield. They know that should I be chosen at Cyber Sunday, should I be granted the shot at Rob Conway’s title, then, after the bell rings, when the match is over, it will be announced, loud and clear… ‘The winner of the match… And the NEW Intercontinental Champion… MR… ANDERSON!!!” Anderson says, before walking off. He returns of course… “Anderson.” (Rating: B-) Triple H is walking past, and Coach runs up behind him. ”Triple H, you’re in tonight’s main event against Randy Orton and John Cena… Can I get a comment?” Coach asks. “A comment? I’m facing that ingrate Orton, and that white-trash ‘thug’ John Cena. They’re not worth my time. I taught Orton everything he knows, and when he betrayed me, I taught him the error of his ways. And Cena… Well, he’s no Orton.” Trips replies, before walking away. ”Well, it should be a hell of a main event tonight… Coachman out.” Coach says. (Rating: B) (w/)(w/) vs (w/)(w/) Johnny Kashmere (w/Trent Acid) vs Joey Mercury (w/Melina) vs Matt Hardy (w/Jeff Hardy) vs Harry Smith (w/Nattie Neidhart) Apparently TJ Wilson and Johnny Nitro didn’t see the need to come to ringside, perhaps they think the women are better than them at watching their partner’s backs… No wait, never mind, Melina distracts the ref, whilst Nitro runs down to the ring and helps Mercury hit Smith with a Snapshot, while Kashmere and Hardy brawl outside the ring. Mercury pins Harry. (Rating: B+) *Break* We get to see Maria again… “I’m here with John Cena… What are your thoughts about tonight’s match?” She asks. “My thoughts? I’m actually happy about this match. I’m happy to get another chance to beat the living hell out of Randy Orton. And I’ll be damned if Triple H doesn’t make me want to beat the crap out of him too. I’m no Orton? What’ve you been smoking? Looks like I’ll have to prove tonight that Orton’s no Cena. And neither is Triple H.” Cena says. (Rating: B+) (w/)vs Kane (w/Vince McMahon) vs Kurt Angle and Booker T Kane manages to hold his own, but William Regal and Mark Belton run-in, but he fights them off, and still manages to hold his own. But then Mr Grenier and Mr Taylor attack him too, as well as JBL, and it proves to be too much for the monster, as Kurt Angle pins him. (Rating: A) *Break* ”Jonathan Coachman here again, this time with the Intercontinental Champion himself, Rob Conway. Rob, what’s going through your mind, I mean, you could face, almost literally, anyone on the roster. I mean, you could be facing anyone from Batista to Mark Belton.” Coach says. “It doesn’t matter who I’m facing. I could be facing Batista, it wouldn’t matter. I could be facing Mark Belton, and it definitely wouldn’t matter. Did you know that guy couldn’t even beat Teddy Hart?” Conway says. ”Yes I-“ Coach gets cut off. “And then there’s Ken Anderson, who seems sooo confident… But I don’t care if it’s him, I don’t care if it’s Jushin Liger, I don’t care if it’s Spanky, or if it’s Hardcore Holly, or hell, I don’t care if it’s Hulk Hogan. The fact is, I’m the Intercontinental Champion, and I’m still going to be Intercontinental Champion this time next week.” Conway says. ”Well, there you have it folks, a very confident Intercontinental Champion… Coachman out.” Coach says. (Rating: C+) vs(w/) Ken Anderson vs Spanky (w/Paul London) These two put on a great match, as expected. Surprisingly, Spanky manages to hit the Sliced Bread #2 and score a pin on the previously undefeated Ken Anderson. (Rating: B+) Spanky and London take a moment to play to the crowd before heading backstage, while Styles and Cornette babble about the main event, which is NEXT!!! (Rating: B-) *Break* vsvs Randy Orton vs Triple H vs John Cena These three put on a PPV quality match, which isn’t surprising, considering who we’re talking about here. Triple H hits a Pedigree on Orton and scores the pin. (Rating: A*) Big Show’s music hits and he heads to the ring, but before he can even get in, Triple H is on him, followed by Cena and Orton, as the three possible contenders beat on the champion to close the show.
