I just had John Rivero and Gerson Mauricio both miss weight and they're fighting each other so I guess they really wanted to fight at heavyweight this time. Fat blokes. ;)

Has there been a case in a notable organization where both fighters in a fight missed weight? Plus, what happens to either of their purses? Does it just go back to the company?

I have no idea if that's ever happened in real life and I don't know what happends to their purses either. I'm interested to find out what happens in the game. Maybe they both give each other 20%? Haha.

One of the promotions in my game has a single openweight division. Their fights are one round, one full hour. After I stole their champion, they set up a fight for the vacant title between Clarence Gibson and Beau Butte.

Gibson proceeded to jab and counter Butte for an hour straight, not once coming anywhere close to finishing the fight. Almost every announcer comment was either about Gibson landing, Butte continuing to move forward like a zombie, or how exhausted they looked.

Here is the report.

And here are the stats:

It should be noted that the betting line had Butte at -550 and Gibson at +430.

Been playing with my 1985 custom database which includes some of my own fighters for the beginning and then later default database and real world fighters debut. There have been a few interesting moments thus far but this one cracked me up.

I downloaded the newest modern warriors mod with the intent on making a new Fedor out of his little brother Aleksander. I started a new promotion and began feeding him name fighters past their primes (the Sylvias and Arlovskis of the world) to make him look like a real powerhouse. He has gets 5 defenses deep with my title until Jeff ****ing Monson chokes him out. He choked him out with the same standing guillotine in the rematch too.

Now I can't get the belt off of mid-40s Jeff Monson no matter what I do. He stops everybody in the first round it's hilarious. YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO BE A CAN-TO-THE-STARS MONSON!

So I'm play the MW 10 mod and I'm the UFC so I of course set up Alistiar Overeem vs. Junior Dos Santos. Junior wins in the first round by (T)KO post fight I get the biggest shock I've had in that game.

.

.

.

.

Junior Dos Santos failed his drug test and was suspended for a year. Find that to be hilarious compared to what actually happened.

That being said it also screwed me over as I had planned for Junior Dos Santos vs. Werdum in Brazil which both had International popularity there.

Sadly I just finished my UFC 161 Card Sonnen vs. Silva III as Sonnen decisioned Silva for the title in Brazil. Then I had Sonnen and Silva fight in Oregon where Sonnen won then proceeded to get popped for roids.

Now I'm just waiting for Rory who is on a eleven fight win streak to beat GSP and then get caught for drugs aswell.

Exactly. I also think it's hilarious that he has the nerve to do an interview in a magazine talking all that crap. With an 0-4 record he shouldn't be saying anything at all. The indignant look on his face puts it all together though!

lol, that was gold. thanks for the laugh hahah
