Now I just stole Koshiro Ino.

I also got pending negotiations with Jay Chord, Eddie Peak, and Edd Stone. I hope my Cult company can handle all these big names. My current Main Eventers will probably auto-push at Midcard by the time I'm done stealing bigger names. Maybe then I could get show ratings that are better than C-

EDIT: Just got Jay Chord, wish me luck. I'm gonna book him as a Face.

I brought XWF back from the dead, started 0/0/0/0 and went from there. I am now 9 months in, running 2 shows a month. My used character is Dread, because he is great. This is my sexy roster:

Amazing Fire Fly

Charles Hapstander (Ref)

Chucky Dorrance

Dread (Road Agent/Colour)

Ernest Youngman

Happy Elwood

Harvey Manners (Announcer)

Insane Machine

Miller Fforde

Paradigm

Paradox

Paranoia

Quentin Queen

Roger Monteiro

Syd Collier

The Pilgrim

The Silencer

Thomas Morgan

Insane Machine is the world champion, and he has regular matches with Happy Elwood and Roger Monteiro for the title. Elwood was my first champion and he held it for 6 months. I have big plans for The Silencer and Amazing Fire Ant ;)

Sam Strong has retired and of all people who could have become the new owner of USPW it was... Dean Daniels. I was expecting it to be someone like Alicia Strong or Peter Valentine or maybe even Giant Redwood.

It's strange to see someone who has spent most of their career in Japan take over.

Current in my RTG game, I check out the Big 3 USA main events

SWF: Eric Eisen def Steve Frehley for the SWF World Heavyweight Title

TCW: Troy Tornado def Danny Fonzarelli in a 66 rated main event (after Cornell vs Benson 85 rated semi )

USPW: Peter Valentine main eventing and defeat Liberty in place of Nicky Champion vs X

This I don't even

I've been trying to get a good start with USPW. You really need to drag Sam Strong out for every angle to stay steady until your main event workers get over enough to carry the show on their own. Even then, the national war knocks you back to cult by the end of the month.

To make matters worse, my owner goals are to increase popularity within one year, which is going to be a challenge. Thanks, Sam.

On the upside, Andre Jones and Gorgon have started dating.

In TEW2010 it was either Dean or Belle Bryden took over after Sam.

put this in another thread that will ultimately be buried by this one (the "your first retail game" thead)...so here's an update on "Nation of Filth Wrestling"

Well, the time decline has really hit my projected stars haaaard...

Stink, Grunt, and Man Mountain Cahill were all supposed to be my main dudes...and they are, but they totally cannot keep up with the younger dudes.

My tag division is a little awkward at the moment. I'm about a year into my promotion and we only have one officially established tag team; Bad Habit of Fearless Blue & Keith Vegas. I figure since Blue looks like a crackhead now and Vegas sort of implies gambling...well..."Bad Habit" was appropriate (Random Tag Name Generator with the Assist!)

So I'm kind of torn right now, because my usual tendency would be towards strapping the proverbial rocket to Bulldozer Brandon Smith, but I'm kind of running the game where guys "work their way up the card"...and he and Hollywood Bret Starr were a pretty successful tag team for about 6-7 months, and Smith has yet to have a singles match since...and recently re-entered the tag scene....

I've been pre-booking the second half and then auto-booking the first half...(and not setting winners/losers...except in the case of my annual tournament)

...long and short of it, I'm in a bit of a nasty spot currently. My upper card is filled with vets who don't really want to lose, but can't really carry my shows with their workrate. I think I'm going to play with some of the road agent note settings to see if I can maybe help work that out...

TCW

In my 4th month.

Both the Syndicate members tried their hand at defeating Rocky Golden but both came up short. Golden was able to put a stop to the 2 on 1 attacks by enlisting the help of Ino and win the title.

At the same time, Bryan Vessey finally defeated RDJ to gain the #1 contendership after he enlisted the help of Eddie Peak as his bodyguard. Golden was ending his feud with Tommy Cornell by beating him on a TV match when suddenly Vessey and Peak jumped Golden and announced their allegiance to the Syndicate the next week. Against the overwhelming strength of The Syndicate, Vessey took the world title.

On a sidenote, Wolf Hawkins and Ino are having one hell of a feud under the same storyline. Probably a waste but Tommy Cornell is more of a mouthpiece at the moment. His promos are keeping this storyline hot.

I want to continue to grow The Syndicate as my Corporation-like faction.

In the meantime, I'm trying to grow Mighty Mo and Jay Chord on my B-Show. Aaron Andrews and Rick Law are in a feud. New Wave has emerged as the dominant tag champions and are currently feuding with The Machines.

That's interesting because in TEW10 and TEW13 Dean Daniels is the guy who has taken over my developmental fed as USPW.

<p>Well I finally got my first game off the ground after fiddling with the database a little (adding a few more promotions that could randomly open, increasing the number of free working pics, adding an era to suit my needs). I added my promotion in Ontario, FFW (Femme Fatale Wrestling) opened in December 2012 starting at 0/0/(I think I had momentum at random)/$250K.</p><p> </p><p>

Product (All Women):</p><p>

Mainstream: Low</p><p>

Cult: Heavy</p><p>

Risque: Medium</p><p>

Modern: Key Feature</p><p>

Daredevil: Low</p><p>

Face/Heal: Strong Divide</p><p>

Match ratio: 60%</p><p>

TV ratio: 50%</p><p>

Intensity: 70%</p><p>

Danger: 70%</p><p> </p><p>

Resulted in:</p><p>

-rated equally on performance and popularity</p><p>

-expect wrestler to be packaged with a proper gimmick</p><p>

-fans will not respond well to one dimensional gimmicks</p><p>

-expect gimmick to be subtle and complex</p><p>

-expect storylines</p><p>

-prevent Afternoon TV slots on some networks</p><p>

-prevent Early Evening TV slots on some networks</p><p>

-getting sponsorship extremely tough</p><p>

-no "young lion" system</p><p> </p><p>

After my hiring spree I had the following roster:</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Main Event:</span> Debbie Rose (F); Kate Lilly (F); Emma Bitch (H); Eve Grunge (H)</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Upper Midcard:</span> Emma May (F); Lora Washington (F); Foxxy LaRue (H); Kate Avatar (H)</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Midcard:</span> Charity Sweet (F); Talia Quinzel (F); Brooke Tyler (H); Millie The Minx (H)</p><p> </p><p>

<span style="text-decoration:underline;">Lower Midcard and other:</span> Amy Galaxy (F-LM); Toni Parissi (H-LM); Aya Nakamura (F-Enhancement Talent/Added User Character); Dharma Greg (F-Manager); Roxy Kitten (H-Manager); Erin Lawrence (F-ref); Jason Rodgers (H-road agent); Clifford Caves (F-Announcer); Lanette Pelletier (F-Colour Commentator/Owner- added)</p><p> </p><p> </p><p>

Well my owner first critical goal for me was the following:</p><p>

"The financial balance of FFW must have improved to at least $750,000." 1year 11month deadline</p><p>

My current strategy will be to hold a weekly show bleeding money till I'm almost broke and then cut back. In other words try to get to Regional as quickly as possible. I doubt I'll accomplish this goal but we'll see.</p><p> </p><p>

Ran my first show which came out at a D- which I'm ok with. One extremely bright spot is that I got an A* gimmick rating debut with Dharma Greg who is running the Pacifist Gimmick. I think that's the first time I've ever done that in a TEW game <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> . I usually suck at selecting gimmick. I'm pretty sure I set her to have heavy input into it so I probably just got lucky.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway I haven't settled on titles and title runs yet as overall I'm still figuring out how to book this product. I will be aiming for medium risk content and will have to add some specialty matches.</p>

<p>I just got the game yeterday and I am loving it even though I have only checked out the C-Verse and have not really done any booking just test runs and I love it. I have made new logos and stuff for SEF tonight.</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway I will start tomorrow as SWF as Jack Avatar. My main planned storyline will be a small TCW like Invasion on SWF where Edd Stone, Sammy Bach and Genghis Rahn basically tearing things up for a while such as ruining a pay-per-view main event, destroying title belts and even beating down on someone so bad they are forced to leave the roster and by the way it is a big name that they will force to quit the company after such a beat down.</p><p> </p><p>

They are similar to The Nexus and The Shield.</p>

Started a game with RAW and have completed two and a half months game time.

Signed PPV deal with 1-Choice TV and my 1st PPV, Stars of RAW 46 in February 2013 graded 64, the 2nd best show so far.

Storylines

Started with the default storylines.

1. The war between Montgomery Croft and Captain Wrestling II has been my hottest storyline so far. Croft had got a mystery man to attack Captain Wrestling II before their title match and everybody was expecting that Captain would forfeit the match but on the day of the show, he showed up and they had a hell of a match - my best match so far but eventually, the masked men interfered to help Croft retained the title.

Next day Croft revealed Mark Misery to be mystery attacker and the feud has gone forward now with Captain against Mark Misery (because the boss wants me to keep Mark's momentum over 71). I hope this next feud will give him a lot of momentum. He is also become aligned with Croft.

2. The #1 contender for Television title is right now Kerry Wayne who won a four way between himself, Luke Steele, Loxley Robbins and Rahmel Goode. He is all set to face Croft at next PPV.

3. The Quest Championship have given me a lot of headache in the start. The default storyline had Echo acquiring the services of RAW Giants to keep down Frogue Element who was the #1 contender for the title. Frogue went through the obstacles and finally defeated Echo for the title but he stunk up the joint bringing the prestige down of the title in just a month.

So, my escape plan - bring in Swoop McCarthy into the picture and boy oh boy did he perform!! I am running a storyline where Swoop Mc Carthy has declared himself the Messiah of Wrestling in Down Under - somewhat like Jericho and so far he has only done unscripted promos and he has delivered every time. The comment i get during his every promo - Swoop had the crowd eating from the palm of his hands. He took the title from Frogue after just one month and now i am pondering on who to have as his next challenger (Any suggestions anyone).

Also replaced my referee and announcer as both were negative influences and creating lot of problems. So, my backstage has now risen to 61% up from 57% at the start of the game.

4. The tag titles are currently contested between Melbourne Blondes and Master Minds ( both teams with 100 experience). There are a number of tag teams waiting in the ranks to break out.

Tag Team Division

1. Melbourne Blondes (Blake Belushi/Rick Stantz) - 100 Experience (Current Champs), Face

2. Master Minds (Quiz Master/Quizzical Mark Question) - 100 Experience (Current #1 Contenders), Heel

3. RAW Giants (Skyscraper/Manhunter) - 79 Experience (Next in line to breakout/part of Assault Squad stable with Echo), Heel

4. Brat Pack (Artemis-Eyre Rochester/Thurston Darcy III) - 74 Experience (Awesome chemistry while teaming/pet project of mine), Heel

5. A-Listers (Vincent Victory/Gregory Grace) - 76 Experience (Recently turned to increase the number of face teams), Face

6. X-War (X-Caliber/Man O' War) - 100 Experience (Reigning ZEN Harmony Champions, screwed ZEN by offering both of them written deals/ another great team can be used as gatekeeper) - Face

Opener Tag Teams

1. Next Big Things ( Rod Sullivan/Nicky Gilbert) - 73 Experience

2. H2 (Heath Murdock/Horton Ravenwood) - 48 Experience, managed by Autumn Gleeson.

Stables

1. Assault Squad - Echo/RAW Giants (64 Momentum)

2. Tristram Enterprises - Tristram Day/Brat Pack (16 Momentum , the idea bombed very badly, thinking of turning Tristram and creating a face stable with the recently turned A-Listers against Brat Pack. Any suggestions ??
