<p>Joshi Journal – Spotlight on Emiko Miyoshi</p><p> </p><p>

</p><p><span>http://i.imgur.com/7A68NMO.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/FnQ2qa4.jpg</span></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emiko Miyoshi sits next to Kaori Mochizuki in Kate's home/office in Piper Casino as a man in his early twenties does the final checks on his camera and microphone. Emiko whispers something in Japanese to Kaori, to which the middleweight responds with a slight shrug.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Testing, testing, 1…2…3,” the reporter nods towards the two women sitting in front of him and gives them a thumbs up, “Alright ladies, it looks like everything’s good to go. Are you ready?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emiko sits up straight while Kaori makes sure that the camera is pointed towards Miyoshi’s eyes. “Hai,” Emiko nods with a smile.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“My name is Aaron Gulseth and I am reporting for the Joshi Journal, your source on Women’s wrestling in Japan for the English-speaking world. I have the pleasure of interviewing Emiko Miyoshi today, with Kaori Mochizuki translating. Emiko, say hi to the public.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Yaho,” Miyoshi appears slightly embarrassed by this attention as she waves to the camera, and Kaori tries to her best to give Emiko a reassuring look.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Now Emiko, we at the Joshi Journal wanted to interview you because you represent an interesting trend in Japanese Women’s wrestling, in that you are plying your trade outside your home country. Many are familiar with Kinuye Mushashibo and Kaede Sugiyama in NOTBPW, and MAYA in EWA, but you are unique as you are part of a strong contingent of young Japanese wrestlers getting their feet wet in America.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emiko begins talking in Japanese, which Kaori translates into passable English, “Yes, unfortunately the chances in Japan are very small. I come to the United States because there is work here, and I need to work to grow.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The reporter nods and checks the camera just to make sure the piece of equipment is recording, “Yes, and you are not the only one. There are several young Japanese women working for Dark Phoenix Wrestling out of Las Vegas. How do you feel your career in DPW is going?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I just get my first win, which is exciting. And I have shot at tag titles with Nami at next event, and that is more exciting.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“But you’ve lost a lot of matches since you came to the United States?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emiko listens intently to Kaori as Mochizuki translates the reporter’s words from English to Japanese before responding, “Yes, but I am still learning. I know I can not expect much. I think in Phoenix Rise rumble I show what I can do, and audience seem to like it, so that is what I will keep doing.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“So beyond your tag title match at Red Alert, what are your immediate goals in DPW?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I just want to get as good as I can. Of course, 5SSW is ultimate goal, but only select few make it, so I am happy now just being in the ring in front of people,” Emiko smiles and nods at the camera while Kaori translates her words into English. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“That is interesting. So you would consider going back to Japan if the opportunity came up?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh yes, but I am happy in DPW now. I have many friends that help me learn.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“I’m glad you brought that up,” the reporter shifts in his seat, scribbling notes on a pad of paper that rests in his lap even though the camera is recording, “who do you consider your allies and rivals on the DPW roster?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Once Kaori is finished translating the question, one corner of Emiko’s mouth curls up in a half-smile and she slyly points at the women sitting next to her. “Kaori is mama,” Miyoshi laughs at Mochizuki’s drawn out translation before continuing, “I don’t really have any rivals. I guess it should be the girls at the same level as me, but we are all close and there for each other.” Emiko pauses as if debating if she should say what is now on her mind, “There is one person,” Miyoshi does a muscle flexing pose straight from a bodybuilding competition to a look of reprimand from Kaori, “she is all about herself.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Despite Mochizuki’s glare, Emiko lets out a slight giggle while the reporter scrambles to finish his notes, “I see. So it sounds like you think the atmosphere in the DPW locker room is good?” </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Oh yes, it is good. Most of the girls just want to wrestle and not play the games, and that is good…in 5SSW, it about who you know and who you are friends with that matters most. You have to choose sides to succeed,” with Miyoshi not having spoken nearly as much as Mochizuki has translated, it is unclear whose feelings the last part of this statement truly reflects.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Interesting. How do you feel you fit in then?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Pretty good. It is hard with language barrier, but we have many Japanese women, so that helps. Nami, me, now Hoshiko, mama Kaori take care of us all. We all live in same apartment to save money, so we are close. It is better than before when we had more people that just care about themselves, but they are gone now.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

“Finally, what do you like best about being in the United States?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Emiko thinks for several seconds before a bright smile beams across her face, “Rock music…and not having to set up the ring.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The reporter makes his final notes and nods again at the two women in front of him, “Well thank you Emiko for answering our questions today, and good luck with your title match at Red Alert.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><p></p><p>

<strong>OOC:</strong> Thanks to Dr_Avalanche for choosing Emiko as the subject of this interview, as well as supplying the questions, as the reward for the Fire Within prediction contest! While Miyoshi is in the lower midcard, it was fun exploring what it might be like for wrestlers that don't win all the time, but are still an important part of the roster (I mean, somebody has to lose). I'm in January 2019 of the playthrough now, so this won't have an immediate impact on Emiko's standing in DPW, but post-All In All IV will be kind of a roster revaluation, so who knows what might happen. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

Finally remembered to chime in after catching up here. Love it, Polly is money baby, push her to greatness. Look at that C rating, man!

Glad you're enjoying! That Gloria/Polly match was like lightning in a bottle: right place, right time, right amount of nudity. In hindsight, I should have had Polly go over Gloria to really get behind her push, but...well, you'll see. :D

Still just out of Chapter 11 and slooowly trying to catch up. No idea where this is all going but I'll guess it's awesome based on how it's going where I'm at. Felt like I needed to post some congratulations on a great diary!

Thanks! I really appreciate it. You're getting into what I would call DPW's third season, so I hope you like where it goes.

We’ve gotten rid of the twat Kate Avatar, but now we want what it’s always been about, the Queen of the Ring title. Flame tries to show no fear as the behemoth that is Kass walks over to her, loading up for a Flame Fire Kick in attempt to end the match quickly. Rather than ducking, Kass doesn’t even flinch as she catches Laura’s right foot with her hands and chucks the Queen of the Ring by that limb with ease.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As the match continues, it becomes clear that all four women are up for the responsibility of being in the main event. Laura especially stands out as the new favorite among the DPW crowd, carrying the action for her team as she fends off attacks from Generations. Kass is also impressive, demonstrating exceptional agility for a wrestler of her size.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The former member of USPW's Womens division gets the best of Fire N Ice through the use of vertical suplexes and backbreakers, but Laura and Claire are able to use their experience as teammates to stay in the match. The Ice Woman tries to drive her stunned opponent into a corner to follow up with more blows, but Thea sneakily slaps Kass on the back to tag in. Before Winters can react, Davis shouts “Off with her ‘ead” and nails her in the back of the neck with an Axe Kick.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Instead of covering Claire, Thea runs over to Laura and knocks her from the ring apron with a stiff elbow. The former USPW wrestler is in no mood for rejoicing, picking up Claire for another Kill Switch powerbomb instead. A recovered Laura tries to intervene to save her tag team partner, but Thea takes her out with an Axe Kick to the back of the head.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> As Kass slams Winters back to the mat, Thea runs to the theater floor and retrieves a steel chair while shouting at Laura, “You don’t want to give me a title shot?! <p>Prediction Contest Results and Card for Bitter Harvest</p><p> </p><p> And so begins what I would consider season 4 of DPW. As with last season, what starts at Red Alert will culminate at All In All.</p><p> </p><p> I inserted the quick results at the end of Red Alert for anyone that wants to skim, so let me know what you think of it.</p><p> </p><p> As for the results of the prediction contest...</p><p> </p><p> </p><blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41787" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>1st Place - DarEatWorld: 9 points (on tiebreaker!)<p> 2nd Place - John Lions: 9 points (welcome to the party!)</p><p> 3rd Place - Dr_Avalanche: 5 points</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Congrats to DarEatWorld on another victory! It came down to the tiebreaker, with the Price is Right rules coming into play (closest without going over). The next couple of shows will not have interludes as a prize, so each participant will get to pick one this time. First place just gets to choose and have their selection posted first, with second picking next and so on.</p><p> </p><p> Speaking of that, below is the card for Bitter Harvest. The tiebreaker will be the one who posted first, just to mix things up. <strong>Glorious Gloria</strong> vs Kaori Mochizuki</p><p>

<em>Dark matches are almost always decided by push and these two are more important to you at the moment</em></p><p> </p><p>

Venus Tournament Qualifier</p><p>

Claire Winters vs <strong>Sista Kass</strong></p><p>

<em>The only way I see Claire getting the win is by DQ, you are building Kass as a monster and there's no way she takes a clean loss this early. Now that I think about it I kind of want to give Claire the win by DQ but I'm going with my gut.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Venus Tournament Qualifier</p><p>

<strong>Emiko Miyoshi and Nami Genda</strong> vs Velvet Revolución</p><p>

<em>Calling an upset here, I think you know what you have with Velvet Revolución but you have been working your imports up the card slowly. With how they performed last month I think that warrants giving them some time in the Venus tournament to see if they sink or swim.</em></p><p> </p><p>

Venus Tournament Qualifier</p><p>

<strong>Polly Amorous</strong> vs ???? (chosen by Gloria, not currently on the roster)</p><p>

<em>Return of Juliette King? My knowledge of available women's wrestlers is near zero so I have to take a shot at something that makes sense in my head</em></p><p> </p><p>

For the DPW Deuces Wild Tag Team Titles</p><p>

<strong>Jawbreaker</strong> © vs Sandra Shine and ???? (not currently on the roster)</p><p>

<em>Leaning towards a defense here, probably through shenanigans. Sets up a future defense against Velvet Revolución who won't be in the Venus tournament leading to an inevitable rematch with Shine and her partner</em></p><p> </p><p>

Venus Tournament Qualifier</p><p>

<strong>Maria Guest</strong> vs Simony Sentinel</p><p>

<em>Simony's had her time, Guest can use this win to keep her from just being Simony's worse tag partner and put some hype in a rubber match. Probably through cheating of some sort.</em></p><p> </p><p>

For the DPW Queen of the Ring Title</p><p>

<strong>Laura Flame</strong> © vs Thea Davis</p><p>

<em>This is tough. I think a clean win limits your storytelling ability with Davis as the primary contender, but a Davis win seems too soon with Kass only just getting introduced. So I'll go out on a limb and say Flame wins by DQ with Kass ambushing her?</em></p><p> </p><p>

Bonus Questions</p><p>

What will be the match of the night? <strong>Can't sell Flame/Davis short on this</strong></p><p>

How many title changes will occur? <strong>0</strong></p><p>

Who will be Sandra's partner in the tag match? <strong>Since I have no idea I'm going to shoot a crazy guess and say NO ONE</strong></p><p>

Who will Gloria select to face Polly? (this is going to be worth three points instead of the usual one because if anybody gets this, I will be impressed) <strong>Well now you're making me second guess myself but I'm still sticking with Juliette King</strong></p>

<p>Chapter 21 Interlude: The Franchise</p><p> </p><p> </p><p><span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span></p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> The headquarters of Dark Phoenix Wrestling is shrouded in complete darkness, except for the soft light emanating from Kate Avatar’s laptop. Hell Cat sits at her desk, watching a replay of QAW’s main event of Alicia Strong and Gorgon at Iron 3. Despite ending in a no contest, this match puts to shame anything coming out of USPW's Women's division currently, and of course it had to come one week after Red Alert to suck away all the momentum DPW had garnered from that event.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Kate’s depression at having her booking plans for the next year ruined when NOTBPW poached Amber Allen and Emma Bitch has faded somewhat, but she still sits in front of a half empty whiskey bottle that was full at the beginning of the night. Whether she had previously been burned out or simply suffering an existential crisis, not wrestling at the last event had started to revitalize Hell Cat’s drive to make DPW succeed. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Signing Killer Kass had helped, as this new force could replace what had been planned for Amber and Emma. Kate was also surprised by how much buzz bringing Kass in generated, considering how little she had been featured on USPW TV before being released. <p>Chapter 22 Flashback: Collateral Damage</p><p> </p><p>

</p><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>Three years earlier…</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>

</em></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/WAoTDXI.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Paige Croft stands in front of her locker, going over the plan for tonight’s main event in her head. Paige looks to the other side of the room and finds her opponent for this evening, Alicia Strong. Alicia is flanked by her usual clique of Gorgon and Missy Masterson, the three women chatting loudly to ensure that everyone within earshot can hear their criticisms of Kate Avatar.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Paige turns her head and glances at the BSC Queen of the Ring title hanging in her locker. It had been a long journey to the top, but Croft smiles as she thinks about winning the belt from Nadia Snow at All in IV. Of course, this reign would soon be coming to an end, with Fuyuko Higa scheduled to win the upcoming Athena Tournament and become Queen of the Ring the next month at In Heat. </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Croft knows that this is all part of the business and that she can not hold title forever. The key, in her eyes, is that she at least will be able to use her position on the booking committee to subtly keep her at spot at the top of the card even after her feud with Foreign Exchange has run its course.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/qs8OWNK.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Paige’s eyes drift over to a corner of the locker room, where Fuyuko Higa stands by herself, as always. Higa notices Croft’s gaze and responds with a throat slitting motion, to which Paige simply rolls her eyes.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Returning to her mental preparations for the main event, Paige thinks again about how far she has come. The petite blonde reminisces on how she only agreed to join BSC four years earlier after Kate Avatar promised to make her a champion one day, but Croft never imagined she would be the one taking over the main event responsibilities when Amber Allen, Jaime Quine, and even Kate’s best friend, Joanne Rodriguez, left the company within a few months of each other. Sure, some of the paychecks had been late, but…</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

</div><span>http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg</span><span>http://i.imgur.com/PbIGeJC.jpg</span><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Before Paige can finish her thought, Kate Avatar walks into the locker room with a decidedly somber Sara Silver by her side. Paige can’t help but think of this as highly unusual, as Kate almost never talks to the roster before an event, letting Honey Golightly handle the pep talk duties instead.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate clears her throat as she moves to the center of the room, “Hey, if everyone can be quiet, I have an announcement I need to make.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The women of BSC slowly make a circle around the company’s head booker, with those in the front row taking a knee before Avatar continues, “Ehm…so first thing, tonight’s event is no longer called Line in the Sand, it’s End of the Line. That’s because…well, there’s no easy way to say this, but tonight is the last night of BSC.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Most of the roster gasps in disbelief, looking at one another in hopes that this announcement is some sort of cruel prank. The tears forming in Kate’s eyes show that this is no joke, and some of the women begin to murmur in panic. A single snicker is heard coming from a smug Alicia Strong, who leans into Gorgon and whispers, “I told you so.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate motions for the members of BSC to calm down, and most do long enough to allow her to keep talking, “Now this isn’t the fault of any one of you. This is all on me, I am responsible…you should know that any paychecks you received in the past ninety days from BSC will be able to be clawed back by a bankruptcy court. This also means that none of you will be paid for your work tonight. But...after the show, if you look in your lockers, you’ll find envelopes that come pretty close to making you whole for this show and the last month's worth of payments. I can not emphasize this enough, no one says anything about this being our last show until tomorrow…and no one </div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><em>ever</em></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"> mentions those envelopes to anyone outside of this room, do I make myself clear?”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

The women in the locker room let out a burst of dazed acceptance at this request while Kate tries to rally them with one last half-hearted plea, “Alright…now let’s go out there and give our fans one hell of a last show.”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Kate claps her hands together and quickly heads out of the room with Sara Silver following close behind. As the members of the roster scatter back to their lockers, Jen Neptune and her sister hug while sobbing uncontrollably. Dharma Gregg looks around, seemingly not knowing what to do, her eyes wrapped in tears. Alexis Lee Littlefeather kicks one of the wooden benches in anger while Tamara McFly tries to console a distraught Sally Anne Christianson.</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;">

Back at her locker, Paige Croft looks at the Queen of the Ring belt and wonders what this all might mean for her.</div><p></p><p> </p><p>

<strong>OOC:</strong> Big thanks to DarEatWorld for selecting this as the prize for winning the Red Alert prediction contest! This scene is something I thought about writing at the beginning of this diary, but I could never quite make it work. Hopefully this gives a gimpse into what life was like in BSC before everything came crashing down.</p>

Chapter 22 Interlude: Redemption Song

“I get knocked down, but I get up again, you never gonna keep me down! I get knocked down, but I get up again, you never gonna keep me down!”

http://i.imgur.com/1Hyvuq0.jpg

A decidedly drunk Kate Avatar sits alone in her dark home/office at Piper Casino, singing at the top of her lungs as she hate watches a pirated feed of NOTBPW’s May PPV, Grappling Glory.

“I drink a whiskey drink, I drink another drink,” Hell Cat downs a shot of whiskey before chasing the brown liquid with the contents from one of the many open beer bottles in front of her.

The past month has been pretty uneventful, outside of DEVIL Karube deciding to start her own company, WINNOW, finally giving 5SSW some competition in the Land of the Rising Son. Kate is happy that more women in Japan will have opportunities to work, although this has raised the price on some previously unemployed wrestlers Hell Cat had been thinking about hiring.

This week Kate also paid off all her credit cards, leaving DPW without debt for the first time since November 2017. This news has further lifted Kate’s spirits out of the doldrums and she decided at the end of April that DPW should go on a road trip for Bitter Harvest by holding that show in Los Angeles. Avatar knows this is a risk, but she hopes that getting out of Las Vegas for even just a weekend will do her some good.

http://i.imgur.com/Ej7P7y8.jpg

Hell Cat’s attention shifts back to the images on her laptop and she starts to boo as Emma Bitch is introduced for her title match against the current NOTBPW Women’s Champion, Brooke Tyler. Emma earned this shot at the belt by surprisingly defeating Sara Marie York last week on NOTBPW Championship Wrestling to become the number one contender. With Brooke’s departure to USPW imminent, Tyler will have to drop the title to someone, but Kate knows there is no way Victoria Stone-McFly would put the belt on Bitch…right?

http://i.imgur.com/fPtVYt8.jpg

Brooke Tyler is out next to a loud ovation, fireworks shooting off from the stage as ‘The Franchise’ makes her way to the ring. Kate smiles, remembering her match against Brooke at All In IV, and mutters “Man, Joanne is going to have so much fun booking her.”

Earlier in the night, Amber Allen jobbed out quickly to Nina Cacace, continuing Amber’s losing streak since rejoining NOTBPW. Kate raises a shot of whiskey to that, and quickly swallows the alcohol before returning her focus back to her laptop.

The match between Emma and Brooke unfolds with Bitch acting as the bully to the fan favorite Tyler. The back and forth action gets the crowd on their feet, with even Kate starting to hang on every suplex and counter. Twenty minutes in, Brooke mounts her usual comeback, absorbing blows from Bitch only to turn around and nail Emma with the Brooke Breaker. As Kate always expected, Tyler covers Bitch to end the match 1…2…but Emma kicks out.

With a shout, Hell Cat leaps to her feet and claps her hands. All the hurt, all the ill will, begins to melt away as Kate sees her friend nearing the impossible, “Come on Emma, you can do it!”

Bitch staggers to her feet and the sellout crowd of 15,000 starts buzzing as they sense something special is about to happen. Tyler, stunned by someone kicking out of her finisher, charges at her opponent, but Emma dodges the attack and sends the champion shoulder first into the ring post. Before Brooke can react, Bitch climbs to the top turnbuckle and lifts Tyler up onto her shoulders.

Kate holds her breath as Emma jumps, hitting Brooke with the Payback Slam from the top rope. Bitch slowly crawls over to Tyler and drapes her arm over her fallen opponent.

…1

…2

…3

Hell Cat loses her mind as she jumps up and down with joy. On her laptop screen, Emma remains kneeling on the mat as the referee hands her the NOTBPW Women’s belt. Bitch stares down in near disbelief at the title she was stripped of ten years ago after being arrested for marijuana possession.

Emma rises to her feet with tears in her eyes before snapping back into character, “I told you! I told you I’m the best in this company! I’m a Bitch, so deal with it!” The new NOTBPW Women’s Champion goes back to the top turnbuckle and holds up the belt to loud boos from the crowd.

Back at Piper Casino, an ecstatic Kate Avatar can’t be happier for the woman who left her in the lurch three months earlier.

That wanker died when you were five!”</div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> </div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"> Thea bursts out in laughter while the other three wrestlers process what has just been said. <p>Prediction Contest Results and Card for 2018 Venus Tournament</p><p> </p><p> Well, first off I'd like to apologize to KnowYourEnemy for not catching that you didn't pick a winner of the Joanna Silver/Gypsy Rose match. The prediction contest ended in a three-way tie, so sticking with the original tiebreaker of first to post their picks, congrats to Dr_Avalanche on the win! <p>I think Simony might need a new storyline. Even if Maria does not feel it's over, from Simony's perspective, it is. Uninterrupted, it seems her natural ambition would be to get back in the title discussion again, but of course, it is easy to get distracted...</p><p> </p><p>

From a behind the curtain perspective, I would drop her down the card only based on performance. If she is getting out performed in matches and promos, I'd drop her down the card, but not for lack of story hooks, I don't think.</p>

Simony stlll puts in the best performances in most of the matches she is in, and can still pop a good rating with a promo, but the lack of momentum is hurting her when compared with where she was at the beginning of 2018.</p><p> </p><p> I know it might be a weird comparison, but I kind of see Simony as being in a similar position as Sami Zayn a few months ago. Here she is in this blood feud with her biggest rival, but even when she wins, that rival won't let it go. At the same time, this keeps her from moving on to bigger (maybe) and better (maybe) things, but even if she ends up winning the feud, where does she go after that with the title picture filled up?</p><p> </p><p> It certainly gives me a lot to think about. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
