Who would you be in the CVerse

Recommended Posts

So this is just a silly thread idea that popped into my head. I love the CVerse. Absolutely love it and sometimes I like to imagine what workers I'd probably most be like in style or whatever/who you'd like to work like if you could work like any of them.

Truth be told, when I first started playing the CVerse Ii saw Dan Stone Jr. and Sam Keith (and by proxy both of his sons) as my avatars. The guys I'd want to most be like and work like, but over time that has changed/evolved into "Pistol" Pete Hall or a "Cowboy" Buck Winchester where I could just go out and hit some lariats and have some wild brawls and could pretty much play a wilder version of myself.

So who would you like to be? Who do you see yourself in?

I don't know anything about the CVerse, I am hoping to change that in TEW2020, but I'd be someone who plods along, loves to sell to the stars but I'm not a jobber, perhaps a lifelong midcarder who may have a small run with a midcard title. I'd probably have a comedy gimmick but could also play a brute. Face or Heel but probably slightly better suited to heel..........Who do YOU think I'd be from the CVerse?

<p>I was a wrestler for 3 years at the end of my 20s, beginning of my 30s so I just include myself in the C-Verse as Fluffy the Straight Edge Emo (Fluffy for short).</p><p> </p><p>

No idea who I would be out of the default people. Brawler/Chain Wrestler, super safe, 0 high flying skill (wouldn't jump off anything but bottom rope). Better heel than face. Straight Edge gimmick played as cocky.</p>

I don't quite have the muscle/overall physique for it, but as a tall lady, it'd be really cool to emulate a powerhouse like Gorgon.

Otherwise, well, there's Laura Flame and her combo of an amazing look (with that one Jsilver rerender of her) and the kind of striking/throws/takedowns ability she's said to have. That'd be awesome to work like that--I suspect irl I would worry too much about hitting folks for real to ever be a very potent striker.

With my eyes being what they are, I think I'd probably be someone like a Joaquin Soler or a Troy Winner. One of the guys who owns a promotion despite not having wrestled before going into the business end. If crossing universes meant I could see well enough to wrestle then maybe Stomper given how NYCW has always run

I wrestled for a few years, and I don't really know who the C-Verse equivalent would be. I was a decent technical cruiserweight who perhaps relied too much on pantomime and being an old school weasel to truly impress in the modern era of flipz.

In terms of stats, maybe K-Squared. Could do a little of everything, good for a small show, but nothing great in the big leagues. Like Kenny, I had a tag partner who quickly found more success than I did.

In terms of position, maybe Sky King. I was a little younger and more of an entertainer than he is, but I was the old man of the training school who was relied upon to add structure and psychology to matches.

Is there an authority figure like Vince McMahon only more of a comedy authority with slightly better technical skills? That'd be me. (I'd say a lot less money but that would eliminate everyone <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> )
