TEW 2020 Small Questions Thread

Looking for a thread with some original company logos, banners, and events for my new fed! Anyone have any ideas?

I've stupidly hit the Mass Edit button in the editor and wiped all the title holders - can someone share a copy of the default database so I don't have to mess around installing a second copy of the game, please?

I did a quick convert of the 87 Golden Age mod. The first week WWF (Large) is signing guys who have written contracts with a lot of time left to JCP (Small). In 16 I had set up guys like Flair, Nikita, The Road Warriors with written deals so the couldn't get poached right off the bat but that is happening anyway in 20.

 

Is that a bug or a feature change this year (Much larger companies being able to sign exclusive talents to small companies) ?

Is the way for me to change a worker's name/picture in game, without using the editor? I'd like to rename a worker after their gimmick change and change their photo to a masked one, but I can't work out how to do it. Can anyone help?

Testing a little more you have to set the contracts to iron clad to prevent them from getting signed. Don't know if that is the way exclusive written contracts are intended to work or not.

In the editor, I want to select a selection of tag teams to change them from unit to permanent unit using the mass editor. I can not figure out how to do a selection. Been trying for awhile, what am I missing?

here's my question. How do you assign someone as the owner and or booker of a developmental company?

 

Example. WAW owns PWU. I want an employee of WAW to run it, can I do that or do I have to in the editor make that person under contract with PWU and make him the owner that way?

If it works like 2016 I believe they can't be under a written deal anywhere, while you own the company they owner/booker works for the dev company not you.

If I downloaded the beta to create my characters that I want to use... would I be able to easily import them to a real world mod when the game comes out next week? Or do I need to start from scratch?

What happens to a dojo if you pick the head trainer as your User Character? For instance, I'm going to play OLLIE and go with Phoenix III as head booker.

This may be stupid but..

 

With worker stats.. is there a reason why some are red for one worker but the same category and figures are green for another?

 

Two workers in my promotion for menace have roughly the same stats, one is highlighted green and one highlighted red.

 

Is this something to do with the size of the wrestlers.. like Toned Middleweight/Lightheavyweight etc?

 

Is there somewhere that tells me what the 'cap' is for each stat as i'm trying to do a spreadsheet for my booking and its looking a little inconsistent at the moment.
