Workers will still try to be loyal to any company they are set as being loyal to, but if a National sized company comes in for a worker in a Small sized company on an exclusive deal then that worker is almost certainly going to make the jump. Just as in real life, there are limits on how far a worker can willingly sabotage their own career for the sake of whoever gave them their start.... and it's about 2 or 3 company sizes. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Oh, I didn't know that, very good to know. I tried to sign a loyal worker away from his company the other day, but he immediately refused because he didn't want to leave the promotion. But I guess that's only because they were national and I'm national, too.

Thanks for pointing that out.

Edit: I just tried signing away several loyal workers from a small company and they flat out refused. Weird.

Just from being managers of people who get put in promos/matches?

I've read on here several times that in order to gain overness (or lose overness for that matter) a manager must be put in the angle. Just being assigned a worker's manager is not enough.

I think this is false? XPPA is the worst kind of contract to sign a worker to, unless you're global. Any promotion that approaches that worker and offers a contract that the worker accepts will lead to you losing that worker. Does loyalty create a loophole like that? I thought the changes to worker loyalty (in TEW13, I think) were designed to prevent loyalty from being a defacto exclusivity mechanic.

If a worker is loyal to a company, they'll never accept any contract offer from another promotion that forces them to leave the company they are loyal to.

So, if the player has a worker who is loyal to them on an exclusive ppa deal, they can't get stolen.

Why is this a loophole? It's the definition of loyalty.

So I go to assign her push and it says she won't take lower than mid carder, which means she won't take women's division... uhh what? Did I miss something when i was negotiating with her? How can I fix this?

Check her contract again. You must have offered her push to be "never lower than midcarder". Unfortunately you can't edit that in the in-game editor, but since she's on a ppa deal you should be able to re-negotiate right away. Just offer her a new contract without that special clause.

 5. DaVE is in the database as a closed company. You could just adopt their product.

And do longer angles = greater potential gains?

As we have major/minor angles, does it matter how long an angle is in terms of crowd impact? I know in older version an angle had to be 6 (I think) minutes long to connect with the crowd in a meaningful way.

I seem to find myself always a few minutes short at the end of the night in terms of accommodating my uppercard workers, but if I can shorten some of my key segments and get the same results, then that would make things easier.

Per the TEW handbook, workers can only gain skills in an angle if they were on-screen and the angle lasted more than three minutes. I'm not sure if that means at least 3 minutes or at least 4 minutes. So, to be safe make the angle 4 minutes long.

And yes, I believe I read somehwere that potential gains are indeed greater, the longer an angle runs, but I'm not sure on that one.

As for crowd impact: Minor angles and major angles that run for less than 5 minutes (again, as stated in the player's handbook) have no impact on crowd management at all.

 7.
Thanks for the comments. Yeah, I guess a breakup story didn't necessarily have to happen. 8. Looking to start a serious SWF game for the first time. And while reading stuff about their workers and the promotion, a question came up: Has it ever been mentioned how the Chase Agency broke up in SWF kayfabe?
 9. What exactly is wrong about social justice? I know you're pulling the SJW card. I guess in return, that makes you a "Social Injustice Warrior" trying the best you can to maintain unequality. I know in which camp I'd rather be, then. Are you telling me that it's okay to blame the victim of a (suspected) abuse or any crime for that matter? And it's not a conspiracy, what are you talking about? Greylocke said that Paige alone was to blame for being abused in that she gravitates towards abusers. Someone put that out in written. It's not a conspiracy, it actually happens. Anyway, I'll leave it at that now. It's getting a bit off-topic and nobody on either side is going to change their opinion on the issue.
 10. Your July database is the first real world mod that I installed and it looks really good from what I can tell. A random thing I noticed: As far as I know, WCPW Loaded is dormant right now. Also, you might consider putting Youtube's wrestling stance to against or maybe even highly against. Then again, this would put a very low cap on how many companies would be getting a broadcasting deal, which is unrealistic. So, I'm not sure.
 11.

If we were to believe her brother's statement then this isn't the first time Paige has gravitated towards "men" (I use the term loosely since there're probably other more approriate terms to describe guys like Brad Maddox and Del Rio that would get me censored) who "abused her physically and mentally", so I don't see how WWE should be blamed for this. If the girl refuses to learn from her past mistakes and chooses to act like an immature she has only herself to blame.

Really? Are you saying Paige is to blame that she chose partners that later turned out to be a-holes? Are you saying she is to blame that ADR abused her? How does any of that make her immature?

This is typical rape culture talk: Blaming the victim, advising her to just not start a relationship with abusive men (as if she could somehow know this in advance) and generally disparaging her.

 12. Got it. Thanks a lot. As already mentioned, you can put workers you're interested in on your shortlist. This way you'll get notified when they're in the last month of their contract. You can also navigate to the in-game editor and under contracts you can see how many days are left on their current deal. The longer they have been in time decline, the higher they are on the list.
 13. If I put the "dominate" note on one worker in a tag team match, will their partner(s) also get bonuses and penalties for dominating?
 14.
I don't follow many dynasties on this board anymore, so I won't visit this thread very often, but I find the format terribly confusing and impractical.

I appreciate your work very much, but having to click several times through these categories and banners only to find that there's nothing behind this (Europe, Japan, Canada) is kind of annoying for me.

I'm not sure why you didn't adopt the old format for this as it was pretty neatly arranged and everything was easy to see at one glance.

 17. They have to be in debt in order for you to be able to buy them out. With 100 million dollars in the bank, there's no chance they go under anytime soon.

Once i get that message i have always just abandoned the team in the past. But now I have two wrestlers (Skylar Kross and Tara Vice from Thunderverse) that are a perfect pairing looks wise, etc for a punk/goth type team but I got the poor chemistry timing all over the place message. Can you overcome that with sheer numbers by tagging them together a ton of the time?

Yep. At a certain point (I believe it's 41/D), their experience bonus as a tag team will outweigh the effects of negative chemistry.

But for a storyline to continue via an angle how long does that have to be in length? I'm thinking over 5 minutes. But also thinking I may have dreamt that figure.

Length doesn't matter for storylines. It has to be a major angle with at least two workers in it who are not aligned with each other. At least one of them must be playing a major role in the storyline.

The in-game help on the storyline screen explains this, too.

 20.
You need to build up stars on your own. Sign young wrestlers with high star quality and push them up the card. Depending on your product, make sure they are able to put on good matches, as well. If your product favours popularity over performance, you don't have to worry about it that much.

Winning national battles takes time. Depending on how far behind you are, it may take years before you are able to compete with your rivals. You have to be patient.

 24.
Boo Smithson - abysmal star qualilty, so he'll probably never be a champion in my national NOTBPW, but his in-ring performance is main-event calibre.

Jared Johnson - is on the NOTBPW starting roster and turned into an excellent worker, as well. Already puts out B and B+ performances as an upper midcarder. His star quality isn't terrible, either.

Sayeed Ali - hired him as the third men for a stable of him and Brown & Haynes. His popularity is still really low, but B- in-ring performances are the worst I have seen from him. So, he's a future main eventer, for sure.

Owen Love - Underrated might not be the right term in his case as he's already main eventing a national company at the start of the game and he's on the wrong side of 40 already. But he's performing really, really well in my game, churning out A performances on a regular basis. He's not in time decline yet in my game and once I split him from The Natural, who is an atrocious wrestler, he'll have a run with the NOTBPW Canadian title, that's for sure.
