What penalty? I've used the WNN product and did a ladder match fine with no penalties.<p> </p><p> Though if we are talking on ways to tweak WNN to make it more like AEW... how about a penalty for Cheap Finishes? To date, AEW has only had 1 DQ victory, 1 Count Out, and 1 double count-out. The product promises clean finishes and like 99% of their matches are just that. I think it only makes sense to have a penalty on DQs and Count Outs to represent how rarely they should occur.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I agree with the clean finishes even though that I personally think them having so many clean finishes destroyed storylines.</p><p> </p><p> I think comedy is somewhat big to.</p>

Unless we go back to the old way, I’m not sure that this is possible.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Currently if you set up trends in your database, you’ll get a small boost for running a trendy product. But if you aren’t running a trendy product, you do not get any boost. I think there should be a small penalty for running a product that’s far away from the current trend just for more balance.</p>
  3. It would be cool to see a small penalty to companies running a product on the opposite end of the spectrum of a trend. Maybe Realism gives a penalty for soap opera type (forgot what’s it’s called in the game) for example. Family friendly trend gives a small penalty to death match product and vice versa. Small boost, neutral, small penalty would be ideal.
  4. Yea maybe something is wrong with momentum. This year there are two different momentum’s I believe and one of them we do not see similar to recent fortunes in the past. Also the ability to reach higher popularity with limited or no TV exposer is a big one too. I believe on Tiny coverage or less than 1500 people watching (Live or TV), you can get someone to at least 80 or so popularity and that is pretty much elite level in TEW.
  5. It’s also pretty easy to keep workers at a high momentum. It’s almost as if 50/50 booking doesn’t hurt anyone. I currently have no problem getting multiple people at red hot momentum despite having them lose.
  6. <p>How big of a prestige boost? For gameplay, I think it probably would be better to just give us a option to donate some of our money to gain a bit of prestige. </p><p> </p><p> Technically, fans are still paying for tickets.</p>
  7. Yea it is too easy to gain pop for the simple fact that anyone can reach a high popularity with a broadcaster that have limited reach. It’s possible to make the next Rock on a broadcaster that no one knows about. That makes 0 sense logically. You also have the ability to gain unlimited popularity without TV/PPV coverage with just live events. Even in the territorial days, the bigger companies ran local TV and the bigger wrestlers were seen on local TV. Sadly natural growth limits doesn’t fix any of that.
  8. 60’s is above average and a 70’s rating is actually pretty good. 80’s is where the cream of the crop comes in at and you will rarely see anyone in the 90’s when it comes to any skill when it comes to default DB and the game’s parameters.
  9. Yea. They pretty much had a great much but the lack of psychology (for that grade) held it back. Sometimes it’s the small things like respecting the ref’s rules, working an area, doing spots that make sense, etc.
  10. They don’t have the psychology to pull off those grades that’s why it’s a penalty. They would need a psychology near 90 to keep that what i assume would be a 90 segment grade.
  11. Written deals are signed contracts so your workers can’t just randomly leave your company, quit or walk out on you. That’s the major difference. Not sure but on a written contract, you might have to pay them out to release them.
  12. Agree, especially about bonuses and penalties being bigger. Looking at some AI companies and it’s not rate to see workers with poor gimmick ratings on warm to hot momentum.
  13. Agreed. It can be said that Austin had the “plays bad ass well” attribute. Up until he became Stone Cold, he never played a bad ass gimmick. Showed glimpse of it in ECW but that gimmick would probably be crazy. Same thing for The Rock. Down in Jerry Lawler’s promotion, he showed signs when he was in his swagger gimmick. Got called up, they gave him a old school baby face and it failed. Gave him the cool/swagger and he took off. Maybe add the attribute “Plays extremely well” to give a little more bonus.
  14. I was thinking more so tied into gimmick types. Like a legit gimmick would lose ton of momentum when losing to a comedy gimmick. But it can definitely work as attributes as well. After all, Bray Wyatt does some comedy in his promos for the fiend so it’s not really a universal thing of comedy elements not being intimating. As for the OP, maybe an attribute for plays menace/monster well. There is already one for Occult which might cover Undertaker but one for monster is needed (if it wasn’t added already)
  15. Something like a modifier would work. Like a plus/minus for specific gimmick types. Calloway is a natural menacing man because of his size so he would already high a high menace stat. But he also would be less intimidating if he had a comedy gimmick and not the deadman gimmick. “Comedy gimmick type would give a -10 penalty to menace rating” Same can be true for other gimmick types. Val Venis would get a boost to his sex appeal with his porn star gimmick vs if he had his censor gimmick. (Maybe a new gimmick type “sex symbol”)
  16. If we could have 5 different settings that would be great but i would be happy with one and the ability to send workers down to PC to train in a specific area.
  17. Yea it makes the investment not really worth it if you can’t “train” your students to work your style. Youre better off just signing someone from another school that are free agents who fits your company style.
  18. <p>Unless you have a sex appeal angle as your main event, the penalty won’t matter. These things are there so a sex appeal segment won’t rate better than your best match or promo.</p><p> </p><p> Segments strictly based on sex appeal are historically bathroom breaks.</p><p> </p><p> However, you’ll be fine with someone rated on entertainment and the other rated on sex appeal</p>

I'm sure Adam knows by now that folks want it in. As to why it hasn't been adding in, and as to why it wasn't in to begin with is up to speculation and debate. I have a feeling it's either a technical issue, a cultural one, or a bit of both.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> It hasn’t been a repeated request because I am not suggestion this to be tied in with broadcasts deals...Maybe for another version great, but I am simply asking for the ability to fix a venue and location for a TV show (as we can currently do with events) Nothing more nothing less. Let’s no complicate things.</p><p> </p><p> My suggestion doesn’t have anything to do with broadcasters.</p><p> </p><p> Maybe I want a specific show to only be live in the US or maybe I made a company that I want to run their TV show in a specific bar. Maybe I want to create a mod that replicates this COVID era and place RAW / Smackdown in the Thunderdome.</p>
  20. Popularity decay (which would result in lowered asking price) from sitting unsigned for too long make sense but definitely not working for free.

Especially on a 3 hour show plus another show during the same week. I need 5 or more storylines to care about...</p>
  22. <p>50/50 booking and ending or dragging storylines is a direct result of not having interesting storylines.</p><p> </p><p> Of course you can game the system in TEW but without gaming, it’s not so easy to get 5 storylines over 70. It was a reason we had multiple suggestions threads about loosening it up.</p><p> </p><p> People would care if Dolph was in anything interesting.</p>
  23. Oh yea i agree. As I mentioned earlier, it’s seem totally random. What I’m saying and a few others are saying is that a system that a young worker could develop in certain areas based on who they are in a match with and what style the match is to a certain extent would be nice. I’ve seen people develop in aerial without being in an aerial match against a non aerial opponent in older versions. In TEW 2020, develop is different as they gain but distribute them in areas eventually. I guess it tries to allocate some points to the weakest area but I think a worker’s style should determine where they are developing at.
  24. Selling is way different than taking a move. The Canadian destroyer is 80% the work of the person taking the move. The argument could be made for safety however. tbh, i think it needs to be reworked regular match sim is a cop out IMO. If top row stats is only meant the ability to perform moves then we should not get a road agent note about how awful someone is in a 2 minute hardcore squash match when all he did was take chair shots
  25. IMO it depends on style of match. Dorado isn’t going to work the same match as he would Rey Mysterio. Obviously we can’t see the actual pace or moves in a match but I would guess that Kane’s brawling skills will overshadow 1 hurricanrana. Personally i would like to see all top row skills calculated for a regular match aim with the ability to isolate certain skills using aims but that’s a whole different topic.
