  1. I agree it’ll work better as an attribute but I don’t think signing popular guys should automatically give them that attribute. Some people (Jericho) are masters at debuting and other than that, more times than not it comes down to how you book someone. Plenty of highly popular guys debut with underwhelming response because the timing was off.
  2. Are they over or is it just pop from the crowd? I feel like that’s covered with “this segment lifted the crowd” “In a match that had good heat” Besides that, what would be the mechanics besides a boost? I can see that guickly becoming a cheap way to get good gimmicks if there was some sort of artificial road agent note that gave a boost just for making an appearance after a debut or time off. Maybe a hype note that can equally boost or penalize a segment if not used right. (Timing, POP, etc)
  3. This can be done by rating someone on overness As for a match. Book them in position to succeed, you can even do a special entrance segment before the match.
  4. Nice! I never caught that. Every time I add a user and don’t want to use them anymore, I usually just resign from the company. I never realized that there was a leave the game option that will keep the booker/owner intact with the company. Thanks.
  5. How would this actually work within the game though? Just a note to boost a segment? In reality good debuts happen because of the way they were booked. For new signees, you have the initial gimmick rating. Put guys in a good position to look good on a debut or a return whether that is making them look dominate or rating them in a angle that suits their biggest strength. If their biggest strength is star quality, then rate them on that but put them in a program with someone with great entertainment skills so the angle could score well and won’t get penalized for just being a angle rated only on SQ (if it’s long) Also read the crowd (if you have that feature on)
  6. Agree, tour shows should be treated as house shows so it shouldn’t count as an “event”
  7. Would be a useful tool to take over as a booker for another company temporarily. Maybe to give the AI a boost or to book a specific event once in a while.
  8. Highlights from tours would closely replicate this. Tapings in the game replicates events specifically for tv tapings that usually last 1 or 2 consecutive days at the same spot.
  9. Definitely sound like a mod issue. WWE didn’t have the budget they do now back in the 90’s.
  10. Yea count me as a vote for coverage cap on broadcasters below medium. I’m guessing Japan will be slow unless they get some sort of TV show maybe highlight package from tours.
  11. Technically TV tapings are separate shows. They are getting paid per show, not appearance.
  12. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="robberbaronn" data-cite="robberbaronn" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47535" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>That might be a financial viability thing, perhaps? I imagine a lot of these couldn't survive in the TEW economy at those settings.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I made the changes myself and sim’d 5 years and they do fine.</p><p> </p><p> Only companies that would probably have trouble is a company who run weekly TV like MLW but in my save I’ve change YouTube from free to air to commercial to simulate money gained from views/ads</p>
  13. <p>Loving the mod!</p><p> </p><p> Was wondering was there any plans on updating some of the tiny company’s production values? Some companies like AAW are set to have pretty much a ring in a gym but in actuality they run a studio like setup with screens, lighting with entrance for wrestlers and custom rings and banners. According to the game when upgrading, these perks would fall between Semi Pro and Pro. Most of the smaller companies in the mod are set to limited.</p><p> </p><p> Also merchandising. Some of the well known smaller companies should probably be set to growing business as most of them have DVD (when it was relevant) VOD services along with other limited Merch on their website. A lot of companies are set to ramshackle.</p>
  14. I think some sort of pop decay should be applied to workers if they are not seen in specific areas in a long time. Similar to companies. That could help with wage demands
  15. An alternative would be the ability to create kliqs in the editor. Kliqs could have a high chance of forming a stable in the company.
  16. $20 worker was just an example. Same applies for a worker who demands $100 a show. The problem is that you can get a worker for criminally cheap on a per show basis vs per month basis with nothing really being different between the two. So not only I can get a big discount of choosing to sign someone to a per show vs a per month, i can make money off of him if he’s popular enough.
  17. Well yea, if I was running a RTG my income from merchandise would be probably under $50. But with the change it means that the $50 wouldn't end up in my bank. Now if I’m a tiny or small company with the funds to upgrade merch levels, I am going to make bank. While in reality, I am better off not investing in such merch because all I’m doing is making product with my company logo on it but most of the profit is going to the wrestlers and not me. Unless I pay them more upfront and take more of a cut from their merch sales. Overall, workers should value their merch much better than they currently do in the game.
  18. Workers should demand way more cut of their merchandise on these deals. It’s how they make their money in real life if they are not on a written monthly contract. It’s robbery to pay someone $20 for a booking fee and keep 75% of their merchandise. As a tiny company, it doesn’t make sense to sign anyone outside of a per show deal because a per month handshake deal will skyrocket the price up. $20 per show on a handshake deal is great but workers should be at least asking for 50% merchandise at the minimum. Per month handshake deal (salary) it make sense for the merchandise cut to favor the company. Pay a worker $4000 a month and get a better % of merchandise or pay a worker $20 and get little to none of the merchandise sales. That’s a better balance than what it currently is.
  19. Seeing the exact same thing. I am waiting to start a long term save until all of these problems are fix. The game just doesn’t work long term right now. Financials are bloated as well but that could be tied to the massive pop gains. But overall, you’re able to spend less money for major profits. The game is just unbalanced right now.
  20. I’ve been saying match injury risk should be tied to how much money you invest in quality of props and structures. Low risk = top quality props/structures, high risk = a legit table from the 99 cent store lol.
  21. Wow, that’s just gross. Was those the caps or just what they grew into within 2 years? It seems out of wack to have smaller coverage broadcasters gain more than a broadcaster a tier higher. Maybe it’s a bug?
