BHK1978
Just wanted to bump this to say that The Shape is currently holding sign-up's for his Family Guy game down in the Mafia section of the thread. So if there are any Family Guy fans or maybe you just to try out a Mafia game now would be the perfect time to do so.

masterded
Anybody been seeing those new Futurama Episodes? I've been watching and at first thought they had gone the way of the Simpsons, but It's actually gotten quite funny! It has been great. I think it was during The Futurama mafia game here I was talking about how I thought it could end up. Something like If it is like the old show it will be great if it is like the movies it will be okay and if it is like The Simpson’s for the last 11 or so years it will suck. I am glad to say it started at good (between the movies and old TV show) and by episode 4 or so was back to great.

masterded
So for the last week to month I have had a classic Nickelodeon live action kids shows itch I just keep scratching. You Can’t Do That on Television, Pete & Pete, Clarissa Explains it All, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Salute Your Shorts, Fifteen, Welcome Freshman, Roundhouse, Hey Dude, All the game shows, The Secret World of Alex Mac, and I would guess some other I am forgetting. I now realize how sorry I feel for the children born in the 90’s and on. How much better my TV as a chilled is better then theirs. Along with I have been watching a bunch of commercials from the early 90’s and must say they are the greatest things ever. This weird mix of bright colors of the 80’s along with bad rap and random slang used left and right.

Only discovered it early this year, watch both seasons in a week. Quality.
BHK1978
I am a huge fan of Sons of Anarchy, Just finally finished watching Season 1 on DVD as I own it. Watched all of Season 2 and Season 3 starts on Tuesday and I can't wait. Yes it is a great show, I mean who would have thought that Adam Arkin could pull of being a white separatist? And yet he did a great job, I actually hated his character.
1234
Sons of Anarchy is a good show, but for me the ending of season 2 ruined it slightly it was far to OTT and why couldnt (spoiler of season 2 ending) : 1 guy stay behind and kill Zobelle? GatorBait19
Sons of Anarchy is a good show, but for me the ending of season 2 ruined it slightly it was far to OTT and why couldnt (spoiler of season 2 ending) : 1 guy stay behind and kill Zobelle? you need to keep Zobelle. He did a great job as the bad guy and messing with the Sons. I thought the cliffhanger last season was handled wonderfully.
TakerNGN74
I actually started watching it when season 2 started but even though I didn't see season 1 it was quite easy to follow. I got the season 1 DVD last Christmas and watched it all in one day and loved it and Season 2 came out on DVD today. The season premeire tonight was awesome and it will be interesting to see where it goes from here. Its genius that Season 3 started tonight (Tuesday) and they had season 2's dvd come out on DVD on the same day.

Comradebot
So, that new show on the horizon, The Event? I had next to no interest in it... Until, while waiting for Machete (epic film, btw) to start, GruntMark and I decided to spoil ourselves and find out what "The Event" actually is. Turns out, you can find out what it is on wikipedia. Go ahead and look it up if you care not for spoilers. Sufficient to say, knowing what the answer to the big mystery surrounding the show actually is has me more hyped to actually give it a chance than any of the marketing for it has. Seriously, the marketting sucks for a show if they're hiding the ONE THING that actually makes you WANT to watch it. Seriously, next to no interest in this show... and then "holy crap, THAT'S what the show is actually about?! Why don't they drop this whole mystery BS and just say so!!!" Stennick
This kind of T.V show, you know the kind that does the whole event, keep you guessing, sci fi type of show is exactly what I have been craving since the show last year that was similar didn't get picked up again. Super stoked for it now.
Comradebot
Hehe... the show that was similar. Good way to put it. Truth be told, I wasn't stoked at all for Lost... it's debut just HAPPENED to come on after whatever else it was me and my dad were watching. Show seems to be aiming for a similar vibe, combined with Lost and... that other show you mentioned, which I believe had something to do with a guy trying to blow up the English Parliament. Yup. Still, I now plan to give it a shot.
BHK1978
Ah yes, I saw Machete last night and it was great! What an awesome cast! As for The Event, well I will pretty much watch anything that has to do with sci fi or I think might have something to do with sci fi, so I was already planning on wathcing it. Heck I still watch Smallville and that show is utter crap. A show that I really like and not many people I know watch is Fringe. Sure it is X Files 2.0 but it is still great. And Walter is running neck and neck with Kenny Powers and Dexter as my favorite character on t.v. right now. Oh and in case anyone missed it, Jimmy Johnson is going to be on Survivor! Now that is going to be awesome (And as a Giants fan I hate the Cowboys but still it will be awesome)!
Stennick
How sci fi is Fringe BHK? Everyone says its X Files but I don't see it as that. The first season is all I've watched but it looked like there were "real world" explanations for the things that were happening. It was never aliens or monster or ghosts or anything like that. Has that changed or is it still all human related for lack of a better term, maybe some wonky, fictional science but nothing outside of the human realm. Is it still that way? Jaysin
I'll be watching True Blood as soon as the season ends. I still need to get caught up on White Collar and Justified... Lately I've been watching Melissa & Joey and reruns of Boy Meets World. I started hanging out with this girl and she's after my heart I swear. She loves cartoons. We've been watching Phineas and Ferb which is surprisingly extremely funny.

Well they have brought in a whole parallel universe storyline. Josh Jackson's character is from a parallel universe and when his counter in our universe died, Walter went into the parallel universe and kidnapped him and brought him over here. So that is pretty sci fi. However, for the most part they are sticking to the real world explanations.

As far as Boy Meets World goes, all I have to say is Topanga! (And if there was a drool icon on here I would place it right about here). Can't watch the third season of Trueblood until it comes out on DVD Such is the fate of not having HBO... and then agreeing to wait to watch it together with family. An amazing series to say the least. Jessica is smoking hot, to boot. And Andy Bellefleur is the MAN! "I know that pig!" Cracked me up. Oh there is this one scene where Jessica smiles at a werewolf she is about to kill and coyly smiles and waves at it and says, "Hi"...well let me just say that is up there as one of my favorite moments in television history. Big fan of Chris Bauer, he was great on Third Watch and was awesome on season two of The Wire as a Jimmy Hoffa-esque type character.
