Cornell-Verse 2016 Prediction Thread

Recommended Posts

Usa i don't think operation lullaby will have any effect on SWF. The 2 guys i.m.o. are not so skilled and thery are quite old. It would be funny if Cornell fed got tax problems and the english guy fly away from usa to avoid jail. Mayne coming home and create a new fed opposing 21st?

Well, who says they'd need to be signed for the purposes of being pushed? They could be signed as jobbers to help younger talent get experience and get over. It may just be enough for them to be on the roster for their operation to be effective. That being said, I like the idea of Runcord being the one to get hired and bring Eisen down. There's a real Charlie's Angels feel to that storyline.

Yes but SWF opens a women's division and unknownly hires Eve and she takes them down.

You know Adam wouldn't have put her in there unless this was his evil plan all along. ;)

The evil plan is let us think what operation lullubay will cause. Million posts about it and thrn.... nothing!!! Evil sadistic genious!!! :)

Not to be boring, but I think this update will be similar to 2013 in that not very much will change.

SWF: Faith and possibly Vengeance and Jack Bruce will be retired. Money still wont have the top spot all to himself, sharing it with Frehley, Remo and Rogue (wishful thinking on my part). Gilmore will still be toiling away in the upper midcard.

TCW: Cornell takes more of a backseat to allow Wolf, Minnesota and Golden to be the stars. RDJ is retired and Jay Chord is on his way up. I'd like to think they do something with Joshua Taylor too.

USPW: Strong is retired and Valentine is now booking things, although Alicia runs the company. Everything still rests on Nicky Champion.

NBPW: All of the Stones are retired now save Edd, who has come back. McFly is also gone and DeColt has gone back to CGC. Everything rests on Westybrook, Bloodstone and Cam Vessey, with Erik Strong breaking out too.

CGC: Steve's back and George and Alex are trying to mend the family, although Ricky and Jack are having none of it.

Not so much a prediction, but more of a wish: I hope that the smaller, mainstream-based companies get starting storylines this time around.

In TEW 2013, I've always hesitated to start a new game with these companies because I'd have to immediately create two or three storylines out of the blue. I'd like to have something to work with to get things rolling.

Well from 2010 to 2013 SWF went from being International to National ands USPW went from Cult to National, while TCW stayed at National so if it's like 2013 then SWF falls from National to Cult and USPW rises from National to International.

SWF only dropped to National because the requirements were raised to reach it. It went from needing cult in a second nation to needing National essentially

True, but Adam could have kept them as Intenational by raising their Canadian popularity 1 more notch, but chose not too. I find that interesting.

Revivals of historical promotions -- with the increased mechanical focus on workers in territories, we see a renewed focus on the territory scene of old.

Shane Sneer decides to strike out on his own and relaunch SCCW, for example. Leo Davis' attempt to revive the Texas Wrestling League is a sad failure (or is it?) The late Preston Holt's estate sells the copyrights to California Pro Wrestling and/or Rapid Pro Wrestling, with the buyer(s) attempting to capitalize on nostalgia and name recognition. That sort of thing.

(A simplified version of the same prediction: there will be more small promotions opening up in currently empty regions. There are wrestlers based in the Great Lakes region, for example, and now that the game requires out-of-region promotions to pay extra to hire all those guys from Chicago and Michigan and so on, it makes even less sense that some local promotion doesn't make an attempt to capitalize on the local talent.)

I already said it in a post before, but let's go to the FACTS:

-The opperation lullaby is mentioned in the worker's bios.

-According to the game logic, the bios would be in TEWdotcom.

-Richard Eisen would eventually read one of the bios, avoiding the opperation completely

-I'm questioning the logic of a game where I can have Jerry Lawler dominate Brock Lesnar and defeat him via submission in one minute for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in SmackDown's Main Event.

In my game which is in 2017 USPW lost Nicky Champion to SWF and it basically crippled their rise.

This Prediction will be a very Bold one but purely because i like him

I Predict KC Glenn will be and a Major Company and be there world Champion within a year of arriving or he would have to retire due to an career ending Injury

I brought him in my game and he's the 3rd most popular guy in the USA by 2017.

Not sure if serious? Of course as the booker or owner you would be able to do that in real life.

Ok, this is not a prediction but the beggining of a mod that I planned, until TEW16 was announced..

In the US the main company was… DAVE. But a new DAVE. The Owner was Victor DAVE Lambert, the grandson of the infamous Terry Lambert and producer of tv realities as The Jail of Famous and Naked in LA. The new DAVE is a crazed and sexist soap opera comedy full of stupid characters like The Goldbuster(Rocky Golden), Dan-C-Tron (Remo Richardson), Dyplodocus (T-Rex), The President of Canada(Roger Cage), Fonzo the FortuneTeller (Danny Fonzarelli) or the A.N.Bolycs (Big Smack & Jim Force). All the true wrestling fans HATES DAVE, but a lot of casuals youngsters are mesmerized for this thoughtless spectacle.

The second company in US is the USPW. After the dead of Sam Strong the company is leaded by Alicia Strong and his husband, Eric Eisen. TCW has been bought by Sean McFly, the TWL has been reopened by Christian Faith and Jerry Eisen is keeping (barely) alive SWF after the dead of Richard Eisen. Also Angry Gilmore has bought the CZCW and is growing mixing American high flyers and Mexican luchadores.

In Canada the NOTBPW is in shambles hoping that a new wave of young talent took the fading torch, and GCG is Juggernauting… well all the juggernauting that Canada can be.

In Mexico SOTBPW has lost a step as some of his best wrestlers has going north and the resurgence of OLLIE with… El Patron Jr.

Japan is living a new Wrestling Golden Age. BHOTWG, PGHW and the upcoming GCG (leaded by the duo Kawate-Miyazaki) have formed a new alliance and are making some of the strongest shows of the history.

In UK-Europe 21CW is the top dog, but has a new challenger, the UEW that has been bought by Tom Cornell who moved the company from Madrid to Majorca (ah, Tom what a smart lad you are…) and has attracted some of the biggest names in Europe.

And Australia… I Forget Australia…

Something that I'd love to see is Cornell on the shelf thanks to being injured thanks to a botched move. It has to be a long-term injury for it to actually matter though.

I definitely have a feeling that at least a couple big stars will be badly injured at the start.

If you think that Brock Lesnar doesn't have CC in his contract, there's a bridge in the Sahara Desert I'd love to sell you.
