MJStark
He reaches his left/only arm over his right shoulder. ld actually imagine it might be harder to do if the sword was over his other shoulder Depends how keen you are on accidentally cutting your own throat if you're in a rush All ways safer to draw a weapon on your back on the same side of your body. That may just be double-edged weapons of course...

Inadvertant suicide as a superpower perhaps? jtlant
I'm a little late to the party, so here are a couple of new takes on some old renders. New stuff forthcoming... http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/CBH/WhySoSerious.pnghttp://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/CBH/WhySoSerious2.png http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/CBH/Scarlet.pnghttp://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/CBH/Scarlet2.png

SWIFT
I liked the initial render of Pounce, but loved the comicizing of the character. Really, really fits in with a comic book setting or feel. Both are great though. I hope both are released when Adam releases the demo.

In all seriousness, that is an awesome render jtlant! May I ask how you did it (as in figure/morphs/texture etc.)?
Comradebot
http://i263.photobucket.com/albums/ii145/jtlant/CBH/Dogman.png Reminds me of my old City of Villians character, Steel Hyena. He was a mutant hyena man that, following a tragedy, had several parts of him replaced with cybernetics, including one hand and the entire arm on the other side. So, naturally, he had giant freakin' retractable metal claws on his robo-hand. He also went insane, and went from being a freaky looking hero to a full-blown villian, according to the the origin story I wrote for him. He was also suppossed to have a mechanical heart, similar to Hsu Hao from whatever Mortal Kombat game that was, and the upper quarter of his face should've been cybernetic (but there's no way to accurately reflect that in CoV with the canine-esque head). May I ask how you did it (as in figure/morphs/texture etc.)? Let's see here... Figure is M4 Morph and texture is from Dog World Wolf, plus some tweaking with the M4++ morphs Pants, belt, gloves, holster and gun are from the Hardcore M4 set on DAZ. Shoulder armor and bracer under the claws are from the Ad Gladio set on DAZ. Claws are from a set called Nine Lives, which I think I got from DAZ also. Other than that, a little bit of tweaking to the bump maps so the hair looked more realistic, but that was about it.

And if it is a filter I'd love to know how you achieved it, since my sketch lines still look very uniform (something I've been hoping to change). J Silver
Did you do that postwork by hand or a filter? It looks very natural. And if it is a filter I'd love to know how you achieved it, since my sketch lines still look very uniform (something I've been hoping to change). He's using the Sketch render engine, a built-in rendering engine for poser to create a sketchy, hand-drawn style render to overlay the original render. It's the same thing I've been doing. Two new ones, http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/Rocky1a.jpghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/Rocky1b.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/Hannya1.jpg And a little experiment I did in Daz to try to achieve a more 2D look without Daz's Toon shaders or just Cartoon rendering. The result was something easily achievable in Daz and Photoshop and consistently. On the left were the images I started with and next to them are two finished versions. If any of the renderers are interested I can post a how-to on it. http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test3a-1.pnghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test3b.jpghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test3a.jpg http://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test4a.pnghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test4a-1.jpghttp://i34.photobucket.com/albums/d105/jsilver536/DazV4Test4b.jpg

OctoberRaven
Damn. Is all that stuff from scratch or do you guys use some modified presets? I was never good at modeling people (enviroments and props are another story), so here's a couple Hero Builder pictures, of my eponymous magic-based hero character, followed by his necromancer nemesis Geisteskrank: http://img714.imageshack.us/img714/8631/octoberhh.jpg http://img7.imageshack.us/img7/84/geisteskrank.jpg
