Just spent 96 million dollars out of the 98 million dollars I had built up in just a year and a half of game time with GAMMA to create my own broadcaster which is enormous in every area with an advertising focus. Just in time to feature Foster and Dean in super-fights against Satinho and Kanchelkis. Have a strict house rule about delagating every contract so I cant poach alpha-1 figters or what not unfairly, but with the wealth of talent in the US alone I have more then enough talent. Opened Feather and Bantam weight classes, and had to buy XCC and WEFF to keep them solvent. UFC here I come basically, but it has been a fun ride so far :)

May I ask HOW you got that much money? I need your secrets. Also, I just achieved greatness. My proudest moment yet. Featuring 4-0 fighter Big Magic!

Ive noticed in my games that middleweight seems to be one of the hardest titles to hold.

The second Kanchelskis fight was the only outright robbery but Dean's been getting very lucky with these split decisions. White is just about to get his second shot at the title after destroying three consecutive contenders, one part of me is hoping that he'll avenge his defeat but another is enjoying Dean as the last remaining old guard in my game. Kapur took out Foster (and was just beaten by Satinho), Herringbone finally lost to Kitabake who lost to Villar, Brubaker lost to Chambers who's held the title since and Lermontov kicked Morrison in the head.

e: Kanchelskis lost a contender fight against Taffarel, which is why he hasn't gotten another shot. That fight was insane, four back and forth rounds before Taffarel ended Kanchelskis with a liver kick in the fifth. Then he became the only guy finished by Dean.

e2: Oh yeah the super heavyweights. Palmer Lette is king. Took it from Pickering who took it from Rushton.

Couple things, but it primarily boils down to fighting on PPV and running a lot of shows. At the start of the game I immediately cancelled all my media contracts except for the PPV option. Threw out Foster vs Hughes as a cash cow in my first main event(with Boyer and Kapur as my second main event) and as soon as I got to mid level national i cancelled my media deal and picked up North America Prime Select which is massive in US/Canada/Mex despite only requiring mid level in the US. Then I ran bi-monthly shows all year. Have to pick up a lot of free agents in the US to fill all the slots with that many shows(4 main cards, 4 prelims), but its out there. The PPV company got upset a few times about not enough star talent on my shows, but every couple cards there was a Foster or Dean to make them happy. Alpha-1 was outgrowing me in name value, but I was raking in the dough. Now that I opened my own broadcaster im growing 7% in every region every show. Quickly caught and passed Alpha-1 back. In summation, PPV and lots of shows. Don't have any hesitation about cancelling tv deals if better broadcasters are out there. As soon as you bump a name level, find a bigger partner.

For the first time in many games, I finally see Davey Rushton not immediately turn into a middle of the pack fighter. After losing to George Pickering in his first title defense, he won back the title and defended it 7 times. His comeback included a 16 fight winning streak.

Created a company at Low Level National, Enter the Dragon Combat, and used the same weight classes as XCC, because I always liked playing them but I enjoy doing reality shows. Just finished my first year, after having 4 events during my first year, and a reality show to populate my Bantamweight division. My champions are:

EDC Lightweight: Carl Chenoweth (0 defenses, d. Cyril Kamoze to be the first champion)

EDC Featherweight: Kenji Akita (0 defenses, d. Phillip Ziskie, who was the first champion and made 1 defense)

EDC Bantamweight: Bryan Fry (0 defense, d. Roland Jericho to be the first champion and win my reality show season)

Currently in May 2005, and I have my 22nd & 23rd shows mostly booked. I've stolen a lot of KDM FC's Featherweights and a few from XCC. My lightweight division just got a nice boost with the addition of Jake Keane, who was a free agent for some reason. At Bantamweight, I've picked up a few from XCC and KDM FC, but mostly it's home grown stars from my reality show. Sadly (or awesomely?) most of my champions are dominating their divisions.

EDC Lightweight: Seth O'Breen (4 defenses, d. Carl Chenoweth via unanimous decision, 2nd champion, defended versus Branco, Cyril Kamoze, Watson Viana (2x))

EDC Featherweight: Kenji Akita (5 defenses, d. Phillip Ziskie via Unanimous decision, 2nd champion, defended versus Lamont Banner, Li-Kong Ho, Yagi Jokichi, Kei Maki, Phillip Ziskie)

EDC Bantamweight: Brian Claremont (4 defenses, d. Kawin Kayen via KO (Kick), 3rd champion, defended versus Brett Rush, Chris Fullington, Pipob Jakkuprasat, Kawin Kayem)

As I near my 25th show, I'm intending to make that one super awesome, so I've been holding back my champions in the last few events to make sure they're healthy for that one, which will probably kick off 2006. Anyone have opinions on whether or I should have a big event for my 25th show or just keep booking as normal?

So I'm in March 2004 of my Gamma game, and I'm sitting comfortably at high level international with virtually all of the top fighters in the world under contract (As well as a good amount of prospects and cans.)

My Current Champions are:

Super Heavyweight: Mutsuhito Akita (Generated Fighter whom I stole from Alpha 1) He just beat Palmer Lette for the title and has yet to defend.

Heavyweight: Hassan Fezzik, who beat foster to win the title and just made his 5th title defense against Armen Sarkisian, avenging a loss from Alpha.

Light Heavyweight: Marlon John, who beat Mike Watson for the title and has made 4 defences.

Middleweight: Matthew Dean continues his reign of terror, having just made his 15th title defense.

Welterweight: Manuel Silva beat Jack Humphreys for the title and made 3 defenses before going on hiatus from MMA. Nathan Chambers is the interim champion, having KO'd Julio Rodregio to win the belt.

Lightweight: Sean Morrison is on his 3rd Championship Reign, having won it back from Sugar, lost it to Sukarno, and just recently beaten Atep of Indonesia (who had won it from Sukarno) to regain the title once again.

I added a featherweight division shortly after I began the game, and this is the main reason I want to post because Lamont Banner has been a beast in this game. Not only has Banner KO'd everyone who he's been put up against, his skills have improved so much that I seriously doubt anyone is going to be able to beat him.

Here's his record in Gamma:

And here are his stats:

I may end up moving him up to Lightweight, as he's beaten almost everyone there is to put him with at featherweight.

Had an American regen, Jerome Jackson, come in at 0-0 signed by GAMMA. Black belt and World champion in BJJ competition. Before starting his MMA career, he had already paired his elite BJJ skills with very strong wrestling and huge striking power. This is no ordinary 0-0 fighter.

Was sacrificed by the GAMMA booker as an easy fight to the #5 fighter. Jerome Jackson won by RNC in the 2nd round.

With his already strong name, his huge underdog win and some losses by the top contenders of the division, he used his Brock Lesnar-esque hype to get a quick title shot.

Again as a huge underdog, he executed a kimura in the 1st round against the champ.

Won Rookie of the year for obvious reasons.

Next year he proved he wasn't a 1 hit wonder but defending his title against the #2 of the division by RNC in the 1st round.

The last two fights he has won both FOTN and Submission of the Night.

Look forward to following his career.

Nice, are you into 2008 yet? I've looked at the Eras in the editor and that's when Establishment first hits and the world-class regens first come in... Looking forward to seeing them now that I'm there.

This is actually my watcher game. It was at 2013 so your era guess was correct. I've simmed a few more years and he's put together 11 straight title defenses with finishes. But he has a glass jaw ~18%. Looks like he's getting confident with KOing people now so maybe there's a chance for a good striker to challenge him.

Edit: In his 14th title defense attempt, he went up against a kickboxing specialist. Looks like he has totally discarded his bread and butter wrestling and BJJ that brought him so much success. The champ decided to trade with the national level kickboxer and got KOed.

In the game where I'm playing as GAMMA (year 2003), I've decided to have Matthew Dean move up in weight after 13 straight MW title defenses. Adam White won the vacated title. Matthew Dean fought a solid Rupert Dreck in his LHW debut and smothered him for 5 rounds as he does to everyone. However this just initialized him at #8 in the division. With Marlon John getting next shot against Rubenstein, I'm most likely going to set up a superfight against Herringbone for the next title shot.

Also moved up Sean Morrison who won the title back from Brandon Sugar and humiliated the entire top 6 of the division. The only top contender he has not beaten is the newly signed Sukarno who quickly claimed the vacated title.

I gave Gabriel Gallego to Morrison as his first WW match. Morrison won and has earned the next title shot against Nathan Chambers.

Not to far into my game, with the Scottish promotion "Legends of caged combat"

Eddie Whelan pulls out of a fight with my 18-0 champ Lefter Otkay, so i have to scramble for a last min replacement, all i have is the 1-0 Bast Moulke and his 5-5 opponent so i throw him in.

He only goes an wins the title, dumping Otkay on the floor over and over for a 50-45 decision win across the board. Crazy stuff, 2-0 champ of my org now. Not sure if this was just a freak result or Bast is just a terrible match up for Otkay. Rematch down the road unless Gamma or Alpha decide to pinch Otkay off me.

Well apparently Sean Morrison's lay and pray works even at a higher weight class. He just smothered Nathan Chambers for 5 rounds and won the title...

Moulke is a beast, although I wouldn't have expected him to beat Oktay. I'm in 2006 with SIGMA and signed him with a 13-0 record overall. He debuted against Reynolds Baer, my #4 heavyweight, and arm-triangled him in the second round. He's on a 6 fight finishing streak and has finished 11 opponents so far. I expect him to be a future title contender which means he'll likely face Oktay, as well. I'm really interested how Moulke develops.

I'm thinking of renaming my GAMMA Middleweight Title the GAMMA Man Humping Split Decision Title. All 3 changes have been split decisions where nobody really came close to a finish... If I hadn't gotten the German Suplex achievement from Osmosis Benn, I think I'd do it.

I love how different games can be from save to save. In my game Matthew Dean is just dominating the division. He has defended the Middleweight Title sixteen times.

I had them rematch and he took the 1st round like he did all 5 in the first, but this time Oktay tapped him in the 2nd. I probaley pull him back a bit, let him face a few Mid-level guys. Hell of a start of his career though, i expect him to hang around the top 10 for a long time.
