I got to the profit zone about 10 months in. The jump to small was a bit tough because I had to add workers as well as look at possible production issues. I moved music to generic and and production values to amateur and left everything else as is. Between that and the added workers I am back to breaking even, and so it will now be a waiting game to get the finances up (the economy was tanking) to boost production values an prepare for four more workers when the regional jump happens. I am probably a year or so away from that jump, so hopefully will be able to build a small stockpile. Still running one show a month.

I will note that in 13 by this point I would have been swimming in money and able to add more shows. Here, I don't think added shows will happen until sometime down the line as a regional company.

End of Year 2018

Still trudging through the wasteland of a wrestling industry in the toilet trying to reach Cult. As we're not really making much money it's probably just as well that it's taking longer than I thought to reach. JOJI was the only worker taking a written contract as he joined the (very briefly) national WLW. I had to boot Danger Kumasaka because he was turning the whole roster against Austin Smooth and he really wasn't worth it. The Architect picked up a painkiller dependency and despite being in a clique with Logan and Xavi I eventually had to boot him. Luckily I had built up their happiness with good booking so they weren't too pissed off.

I wenthalf a year without a pyschology teacher but in the end solved it by getting both Tadiyuki Kikkawa AND Yoshimi Mushashibo. So a once in a lifetime match can be booked some time in the future. It will have to be soon tough as Tadiyuki is 16 years into times decline. But I need to get their pop and momentum up. Shouldn't be too hard though as they are in a stable with me and I've finally bitten the bullet and made myself figurehead.

End of 1997:

With my first year in the books I’m starting to make a profit with my company. I have a critical owner goal that requires me to have $10,000 in May 1999. I might have to skip a month or two, but it should not be impossible. By the end of 1998 my company should have gone up in size.

I’m not too happy with my end of year roll, but it could be worse. My skills are improving quite well in its own for now.

How much money do you have? I guess I am trying to figure out if we are talking $10,000 or $100,000.

For what it's worth, running the newest patch I got a 0/0/0/0 company into the black in Japan--Four shows a month until the Tsunami hit, then a show every other month until my finances had stabilized. Economy started really bad and rising, industry started C+ and falling. Was out of debt before the end of the year. 6 workers a show with my owner as the ref.

Does anyone know if once they start collecting money, if you drop to a certain point they start working for free?

I'll hopefully be able to get a fairly accurate estimate later tonight because my owner is a VERY expensive ref, so I'm keeping an eye on him closely for when he takes his first wage.

I rolled a 48 for my end of 2005 roll and am unmotivated to keep going. With all the spillover and running my next tv show in 14 areas on three continents, that sounds like an editing nightmare.

It's not that difficult. Go into the editor in the AM of show day and make a note of your bank balance and popularity. Then the next day after the show go back in and double the gains.
