Went Bankrupt with Paradise Pro Wrestling in June 2017, being $14,335 in the whole. Had just started making money the last two months too <img alt=":(" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/frown.png.e6b571745a30fe6a6f2e918994141a47.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Got a size change from the end of year roll, with starting Menace of 4, will it really help me that much though :p. Does anything else change with a size increase? i have low athleticism and power, is power going to go up but athleticism down?.

Size increased just happend lightheavy to heavyweight... I thought middleweight was next. Looks like I gained

+4 Power, +5 Stamina, +4 Star Quality and +6 Menace. No sex appeal.

Gave this my first shot. First show got a 38/D- in Tri State; The Silencer defeated Mark Smart in my main event, quarterfinals of a Heavyweight Title tournament. I'm already down $3,379. Am I paying people too much? I have 8 workers, a woman for sex appeal segments, a referee, an owner working for free, and a color commentator. (The owner is the announcer).

Current roster: Austin Smooth, Cobra, Desert Storm, Edward Stark (user), Mark Smart, Martyr, Seth Whitehead, and The Silencer.

Do you guys think I should start fresh and really just sign the cheapest talent possible?

Can't really test it since the only news you ever see is if they now are "ripped', but if you keep an eye on your worker's development you will spot jumps in those stats then odds are they've changed body type.

You probably don't want to pay much over $300 though and don't give travel compensation. You don't need a colour commentator - if you want to use announcing (as your owner is an announcer then you can get one of the wrestlers to colour commentate if any have any skill). Your first month is always going to be the most expensive as you don't get much sponsorship. I don't know if it helps but theoretically having your show at the start of the month should help as you'll get the pop bump to help with sponsorship.

They are cheap, but a couple at least are too expensive for the RTG as it is with current finances- Austin Smooth is $400pa, Silencer is $500 so in an ideal situation he'd have three workers at that price. Desert Storm is somewhere around $400-500 and I think Mark Smart starts out in that range also. Just saving that $500/mo. on worker costs can make a massive difference in this year's version.

At the start a E- grade is more than good enough to get your company the usual popularity increase, so while I understand wanting a bunch of good workers, you really only need 2 that cost more than $300-$350.

The woman is nice, but unless you have an angle heavy popularity based product I'd leave her out until your company is making a profit. Once you are making money bring in a sexy lady that can handle a microphone and have her help train your user character as his manager.

Dump the color man. Going without has no effect on your match ratings at local size. If you really want one, have one of your better microphone people take that role for each match. They'll gain skill and overness that way.

And yes, you want your events early in the month so you can get the most advantage of the daily inflow of increased sponsor money.

Good luck

My first show scored an E- which as MVargus says, is plenty to get your pop boost. My starting roster per appearance looked like this:

UC- Free

Cobra- $300

Seth Whitehead $280

Hawkeye Calhoun $270

Logan Wolfsbaine $260

Martyr $260

Samael the Accuser $300

Anders Thunder $270

Referee Gregory Chapman $210

I ran into the sausage fest penalty, so I added Cheyenne at $220 for the next show. Total wage bill ended at $2370 per show. You can go cheap and still do quite well. Mad Dog Mortimer is also out there and you get him for around $260 and there are other if you poke around a bit.

In fact, I almost didn't hire him because of that, but I caved in the end. In my fifth year now and he is making $1000/pa and hasn't become a douche. Whitehead has been slower developing, still in my midcard scene, but to be fair, I haven't pushed him that hard.

I took some advice this time, and I'm down about $5,000 after my first two shows, which I held early in week 2. I switched it so that they're both week 1 next month. I got an E- and an E in the two shows. Next month is gonna be a "big" show, with tournament finals and what not.

Also, I guess this is more of a Small Questions thing, but the fans are slightly let down because my workers aren't doing dangerous spots. At this point, I don't think it's worth raising the Match Danger and letting the workers get hurt, right? Since I'm still gaining popularity and so this isn't really affecting my promotion that much.

Although, I don't run 2 shows per month myself. I tend to think that keeping the debt down is more important, but others have had success driving popularity up quickly before reducing to doing 1 show a month.

As for your question. I don't know the product so I can't say what the match danger should be. I can say that if its only a "slight" letdown its likely only a few points and if you are getting match grades of E- and E you don't need to worry at this time. (the grades before the markdown were likely no better than E and E+)

After January and February I lost $9800 total; after running 2 shows in March, and leaving my most expensive worker (Roger Monteiro) off of one of the cards after my user character injured him, I only lost about $4,000.

I am slightly disappointed though; the estimated Sponsorship Income was $1,563 and I only made $675. Is it because the economy is at F and falling? That would seem to make some sense.
