The easy answer is politics.

I prefer to think of it as Spade constantly choking under pressure and not showing what he can really do. He's been there for years so something has to give. Maybe his gimmick, he's very plain gimmick wise. Maybe his look. Maybe he's going to just end up as a tag guy, always building for the big hopespots for his partner. I don't really buy into the narrative that he'll be a big stat but I'm often wrong. :p

I know Spade is SUPPOSED to be a big deal or at least that's what his bio claims but I rarely see it. I've never had him achieve anything really of note and in my games where I'm not playing as SWF they typically release him the first chance they get and he goes on to rule the indies until retirement

Really? That surprises me. Every game I start as SWF he tends to rule my midcard and more often than not work his way into my world title picture.

Spencer Spade is currently in the midcard in the middle of 2021, he has yet to win a single title.

His stats if anyone cares to see how he progressed. I'm not playing SWF. Hes actually looking pretty solid for an upper midcard/sometimes main event slot, I might just throw a bid on him when his contract is up. But he definitely could be a tag team champion. Sucks because I like Spade, it's just sometimes peoples bios make them seem like big deals then they have mediocre stats and it's like ehhhhh.

Start with maybe a few "hire local" guys then move up the card as fast/slow as you like until you are ready for him to challenge for the title again.</p>

I'm doing a new SWF game, however I need an idea for a Face gimmick for Spencer Spade?

(I would prefer that the gimmick involves him being masked, but it is not necessary)

Probably not the best, but best I could think of at the moment...

He has stage fright. He does everything backstage without the mask, but he has to wear it on front of the crowd. It's more of a comedy/weird gimmick.

He was in a Shield/Nexus type storyline with Greg Gauge, Ekuma, J-Ro and Primus Allen. It's just now coming to an end this month, and it's driven him up as far as Upper Mid (though he's back to midcard now). I'm sure he'll eventually get the tag titles with Gauge since they drive in good numbers and have good chemistry.</p><p> </p><p> Ekuma is the only one of that group that never got out of the lower cards, mainly due to his awful stamina.</p>

So I was thinking of recreating the SWF Eisen takeover storyline. Here's my idea... Richard Eisen goes to (kayfabe) prison because he seems like the egotistical 4 letter word that would make a joke out of that.

Eric and Jerry begin fighting for control. This goes on for a couple of months. One of them gets taken out backstage so that the other can run the show for a while. Likely Jerry since it fits Eric's gimmick of wanting to send people to the hospital.

Jerry returns a few months later after Eric has (shockingly) pissed off half the roster while in control. Jerry gets a few guys to join his side over the next couple months to fight against Eric and his "guys." So basically we now have an invasion esque angle in this storyline.

After the two become tired of the other sabotaging the other's bookings, they agree to run the show on opposite weeks. Eric of course, doesn't play by the rules, so soon he begins to take back over and finally Jerry has had enough. Jerry's guys vs Eric's guys, winner takes the company. Survivor Series Elimination style.

Eric is in the ring against a Jerry guy one on one at this point. Ref bump. As Eric looks set to capitalize and win the match, Jerry comes from behind him and hits him with a nut shot and beats the hell out of him with a singapore cane. Team Jerry wins.

Jerry, now with full control, books his brother to his breaking point putting him in multiple matches per night, gauntlets etc etc. Jerry books him against a monster. Gargantuan, Marat, whoever you have on your roster. Giant destroys Eric, rendering him out and useless.

Jerry runs the show very well for the next couple months. Richard Eisen gets released from prison and shows up at Supreme TV. He gets wind of what happened while he was out. Furious, he goes to Jerry who wants nothing from Richard and shoves him to floor declaring it's his show now.

Richard uses his connections and experience to have Jerry Eisen suspended so he can regain his footing as the owner. Jerry comes back and Richard gives him a chance he can't pass up. Richard picks a guy, Jerry picks a guy. Winner takes full control of the company, loser leaves forever.

Jerry spends the months leading up to Supreme Challenge recruiting the perfect guy. He tries Joey Morgan, Brandon James, Rogue, Remo and finally finds his guy. Jack Bruce. Richard Eisen is stunned, but Bruce tells him it's just business.

The night of Supreme Challenge, Bruce comes out for his match with Jerry in his corner. Richard has yet to announce who is fighting for him although you can likely guess it. Eric Eisen makes his return to start another chapter in his story with Jack Bruce.

From there it's a few ways to go. Bruce can go over and start a heel run in the twilight of his career. Eric can go over and hit the supremacy on Jerry.

Thoughts?

Has anyone ever redone that storyline?

On my CZCW game in 2018 Spencer Spade has just recently become available, just signed him up hope to make him a star.

Has was in the midcard for SWF and hadn't won a title, they instead keep pushing the same old guys... Skull DeBones is 47, Jack Bruce is 45 , Samy Bach is 40 Rocky Golden is like 36, Wolf Hawkins is 32. They dont seem to b building for the future although Rocky and Wolf sould hold down the main event scene when the other 3 retire.

I am considering going into the editor and making Christian Faith active again. Having him around as a face who only wrestles at PPVs much like Skull Debones would be ideal. He could help get over some of the younger heels while also giving me another top face to tussle with.

Faith being around would really do a lot for a SWF roster. SWF is sorely lacking in people with top-notch Psychology to train up their roster (a lot of which isn't even that young). With Faith and Enforcer Roberts both retired the only guy with Psychology above 90 is Angry Gilmore. And since the only way to reach that peak is to work with guys who are better than you, most of the younger guys likely won't ever get past the 80s in their performance stats unless you have Gilmore wrestle everyone.

In fact Jack Bruce has to one of weakest Psychology guys to become the top guy in SWF history. Not counting those who only got 1-2 title reigns (like Runaway Train and Vengeance), the SWF World Title scene was dominated by the Psychology gods like Sam Strong, Rip Chord, Sam Keith, Christian Faith, Sean McFly, etc. Bruce doesn't seem to be anywhere close to their level in this regard.

<p>I just finished Awesome Impact with Bruce/DeBones vs. Crippler/Khoklov to "guarantee" Bruce gets Crippler one on one at The World Is Watching. DeBones is going to turn back into Vengeance during a beatdown on Jack Bruce before the match and set up a 1 vs. 3 at Master of Puppets (I'm planning on having Vengeance retire right before Supreme Challenge in a career vs. career match with Bruce)</p><p> </p><p>

Anyway, since I got a little off track. I'm wondering if anyone has tips about how to book the 1 vs. 3. My plan for the match flow is</p><p> </p><p>

Beatdown of Bruce.</p><p>

Bruce starts to get on a roll and clears out everyone</p><p>

Bruce and Crippler face off in the ring before Khoklov and Vengeance start to beat down Bruce and the ref calls for the bell as he loses control</p><p> </p><p>

Keeping Bruce strong doesn't make sense but making the three "dominate" doesn't either. What kind of road agent notes should I be going for other than DQ Finish?</p>

<p>Implemented a brand split in time for Elite to run head to head with USPW on Wednesday evenings from the first week of January 2017. Underestimated how much effort booking double the storylines would be but after taking a few weeks out to recharge my booking head I think I'm ready to dive back in.</p><p> </p><p>

Joey Morgan is my first ever SWF Elite Champion, having won the belt on the same night as he lost the North American Championship after a fourteen month reign (and a heel turn). Will likely be going with Brandon James/Jack Bruce as the main title feud going into The Supreme Challenge though, with Valiant defeating Remo for the World Heavyweight Championship after a year long pursuit.</p>

<p>I hate hate hate two full brands, like 8 TV shows a month and at least 1 PPV. no thank you that's almost a year of regional company booking.</p><p> </p><p>

That and the fact I like to have a B show, I fin them important in keeping the moral, momentum and otherness steady on the guys losing regular/semiregular on the A shows.</p><p> </p><p>

2 brands and 1 B show a week, 12 TV shows a month, and a PPV. It becomes silly. </p><p> </p><p>

I'd stick to 1 brand, 1 A TV of 2-3 hours and B show of 60-90 mins. a week. </p><p> </p><p>

With SWF I would expand the roster with new blood, a good chunk of which with 85+ SQ and instant begin pairing up your old main eventers with guys you want to replace them with at the top. have them feud, put the new guys over and put the ol guys as Uppermidcard/Lower Mai event gatekeepers until their Decline gets too bad. Guys like Skull and Bruce I'd give them the thought of having there last match be a big one, maybe legend v legend or them putting over a rising star at Supreme challenge.</p>

The biggest issue that I had was roster management. SWF have got a fair amount of younger talent that I'd like to push anyway and I've also failed to resist raiding TCW for a few of their top guys. I think it also opens up a lot of interesting booking possibilities. The only two downsides there are is that is slows down the amount of time that it takes to advance, and that it's challenging building two separate tag divisions - but that's a welcome challenge.

<p>I have a planned brand spilt with a separate set of titles for each Brand.</p><p> </p><p>

Brand Spilt Plan</p><p> </p><p>

Supreme Brand Belts:</p><p>

</p><ul><li>SWF World Heavyweight Title (Main Event)<br /></li><li>SWF Intercontinental Title (Floating - UpperMidcard)<br /></li><li>SWF Supreme Title (Midcard)<br /></li><li>SWF World Tag Team Titles (Floating - Tag Team)<br /></li><li>SWF Vixxens Title (Floating - Women's Division)<br /></li></ul><p></p><p>

Assault Brand Belts:</p><p>

</p><ul><li>SWF Title (Main Event)<br /></li><li>SWF North American Title (Floating - UpperMidcard)<br /></li><li>SWF Assault Title (Midcard)<br /></li><li>SWF International Tag Team Titles (Floating - Tag Team) <br /></li><li>SWF Sky Club Title (Floating - Cruiserweight Division)<br /></li></ul><p></p><p> </p><p>

However I need one thing, I need an SWF Assault Title Belt render. Do you guys know where I could get custom ordered title belts renders?</p>
