(I focus heavy on faction rivalries and usually build 3 or 5 man units. The factions enjoy politics and intrigue in addition to their matches. Many matches are 3-4 way matches. 2v2s and 1v1s are usually reserved for special situations).</p><p> </p><p>

(I hire locals who are decent safety to put over those who otherwise would never win. I don't use any push beneath lower midcard, and only really use it to designate eternal jobbers and newly onboarded talent.)</p><p> </p><p>

Most storylines never really resolve!</p><p> </p><p>

(There are about 6 running storylines on two different brands. People rotate in and out of them but rarely do new storylines start or old ones end. Each storyline has a primary faction or title, and everyone else rotates in and out. There is a Singles Main Event, Tag Main Event, Trios Midcard, and Singles Midcard all in play. There is also a women's division featuring a tag and singles belt, but not enough roster power to justify a trios belt yet.)</p><p> </p><p>

(I hold four mega events through the year where stories culminate. After each one, a tournament season begins - world title, tag title, trios tile, and intercontinential championship. Each season, that belt is defended more often and heavily focused on. Each tournament, a series of 3-4 way matches every week determines who gains entrance to "Great Clash" a royal rumble where the winner gets a shot at that championship at the next "big four" in the co-main event. And I am willing to put in a top tier tag team or two members of a second hot storyline to elebeinvate any match needed into the spot Each PPV other than "the big four" are seasonal turning points, every story told in four parts, using the first 3 to lead in, and the fourth to culminate). </p><p> </p><p>

Everyone can't be a star!</p><p> </p><p>

(I like to take people who I like and attempt to push them and get them over. I also like to keep everyone's momentum above "neutral" unless they're being doghoused for some reason).</p><p> </p><p>

Too many stars are in perpetual limbo.</p><p> </p><p>

(Actually, they're in factions - and the primary focus is building the brand of the faction. As stars rise, they usually conquer, take over, or found factions - though there are occasional lone wolf characters. This can result in the feeling of stars moving nowhere on the roster despite the stories moving forward and characters moving forward, the stars always seem to remain locked in their position).</p>
