Mainstream Media Attention Whore - This promoter believes they work in the entertainment business, not the rasslin' business, and craves mainstream media attention above all. They'll want celebrity guests at every important event, and will be happy to sign workers with the Movie Star/Famous Musician/MMA Fighter trait to absurd part time contracts.

Married to a Celebrity - This worker is married to a mainstream celebrity and attends red carpet events with them. Promoters with the Mainstream Media Attention Whore trait will be happy to keep them on their roster even if they have low skills/popularity.

Known Humanitarian - This worker gets some mainstream media attention for their charitable work. Promoters with the Mainstream Media Attention Whore trait will be happy to keep them on their roster even if they have low skills/popularity. They won't mind if they're barely used, as a steady paycheck and a status as a "Wrestling Superstar" is good for their charitable work anyway.

This is a great idea and seems like an excellent way to simulate the current era of a lot of dudes having podcasts. I actually think you could lump these two together into one 'Broadcaster' attribute and add the possibility of relationships forming due to positive/negative comments. See ya in court, Colt!

See ya in court, Colt!

I think I like this even better, which leads to:

Broadcaster: This worker broadcasts on radio, TV or on the internet (only radio &/or TV if it is an earlier era) when they are not working wrestling shows. Workers with this attribute have a small chance to randomly gain entertainment skills, and there is a small outside chance that they can form positive or negative relationships, have lawsuits brought against them by other workers for extreme negative comments, or even become toxic for making controversial comments.

Thinking of some more:

Hullo Zeeba Neighba: Workers who have negative relationships with another worker are more likely to try and sabotage the workers they don't like, such as spreading rumors, eating them up in matches or angles, etc. Except their dastardly plans always backfire in some way, such as nobody believing the false rumors, or the other worker looking even better despite being eaten up, etc.

^^On a side note, anyone who gets the reference from where I got the name of this attribute gets an internet high five. <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

Tired of Manna: This worker is likely to create a negative incident where they complain if another worker has cooked the same food several shows in a row, and could form a negative relationship with said worker.

Need the Money: This worker is more likely to take a second job outside of wrestling. If they are on an exclusive contract with a company, they can potentially bring negative attention to that company as fans will have the perception that said company is not paying their workers what they should be paying them. The negative attention can go away if the worker gets a pay rise, and could never come about in the first place if the worker signed for 5% more than what they're worth, and/or get perks in their contract.

I Got This: When performing dialogue or working matches, this worker has a chance to recover quickly if they should start messing up their dialogue, forget their lines in a promo, forget a spot in a match, botch a move, etc., to the point that fans would think it was part of the show.

Deer in Headlights: If performing dialogue or working matches, this worker can forget what they were going to say or do, flub a line in a promo, botch a move in a match, etc., and will start to panic and cause the segment to fall apart very quickly unless another worker with higher experience than them is in the same angle or match.

I Like Steak: This worker loves to eat meat and has a chance to form a negative relationship with vegans. They can form multiple negative relationships with vegan workers they don't even work in the same company with should they make controversial comments on social media (depending on the era), on the radio, on TV, etc., about vegans and meat eating.

So just saw DissendentBones post about blacklisted workers. It would be cool if the AI could also create a similar list or go off their tension with workers.

Blacklisted - This worker is blacklisted by another owner/company. Signing this worker will cause a negative relationship with the company. (Turning them from neutral to Hostile or hostile to at war.)

I also like the idea of misc hobbies that have no effect but can make people develop friendships and maybe have an occasional backstage event that can occur bases on their hobbies.

List of hobbies - Car Enthusiast, Arts & Crafts, Foodie, Gamer, Model Train Conducter, Musician, Dog Lover, Cat Lover, Gym Junkie, Coin Collector, Gambler, Skateboarder, Hunter.

A few of these I have mentioned so this just gives more depth to the hobbies overall by making them have more of an impact or events related to them. They may just have in brackets that it is a hobby related attribute so it is easy to see. An example would be my surfer idea.

Surfer [Hobby] - This worker loves to catch a wave, they will not work for companies based in land locked regions. As a hobby, this worker is more likely to develop a positive relationship to people with a similar hobby.

In The Genes - This Workers potential is closely linked to a family member (Specifies name at the end.)(Their destiny role are linked with a family member.)

Medically Unfit -This worker has been forced to retire much earlier in life due to a medical condition.

Creepy - This worker is just creepy and unsettling. Whether it be their unrelenting gaze or their constant stifling breath. They are a negative influence on the locker room and can't develop positive relationships.

Teetotaler - This worker will never develop drug habits and may develop negative relationship with those who use drugs. (I feel like I mentioned this.)

Hangry - Will add negatively to the backstage environment if there is no other worker with the "chef" trait or if no catering is available.

Magic Socks - This worker has a lucky charm. It provides them with a positive mood boost. If this item gets stolen (Kleptomaniac's or workers with negative relationship.) They receive a large negative mood while in the company.

Olympian - This worker will become unavailable either for training or sporting events. (Only effects workers between 18-35).

Burn My Eyes - This worker has recently seen something incredibly disturbing and it is impacting on their work. (Negative to overall performance for a short time.)

Fire Up! - This worker will fire up other workers backstage during big events. (During major events this worker may have an incident with 1 - 3 workers who all get a performance boost for that night.)

Things that are overtly gamey or comedic like the above suggestion are really more suited to role-playing games.

The Fourth Pillar: This worker automatically has good chemistry when wrestling someone from the same Dojo as them.

The Ungovernable: This worker gets a ten-point bump in all stats after being involved in a talent trade.

January 4th: This worker gets a performance bonus when wrestling in front of crowds larger than twenty thousand.

Wrestling In Style - This wrestler is able to use his current wrestling style and adapt it to the style of the company. His attributes are treated as if he's wrestling the style of the company. If he's wrestling IN the style of the company, he treated as even better than his stats.

No Wrestling Fashion - This wrestler is a complete and utter train wreck with his current style. It doesn't suit him, he's out of place and just drags matches down. If he's wrestling in the style of the company, he takes negative bonuses. If he's wrestling out of the company style, he's just downright awful and will drag matches into oblivion.

These two would be like a 1% to 5% chance of someone having these.

He's Got The Whole World - It doesn't matter what gimmick, angle or promo he is in, it just works. If he's great at it, it even does better - instant pop boost(s).

Have You Bored With The World - This guy just has no luck currently and instantly bores, dulls and downright upsets the audience. If he's not great at what he's doing - instant pop decrease(s).

Again, another 1% to 5% chance of having these two. Basically the Yes Movement and the X-Pac Heat stuff.

Nor sure if these have been suggested but something that reflects workers slacking off when they feel like they've made it. Something like

BE THE BEST - This worker will continue to work their hardest to be the best in the world, will keep trying to develope and improve even if he's already seen as a superstar

LOOKS LIKE WE'VE MADE IT - This worker will coast if seen as a superstar, will become complacent and will stop developing, or slow down development, if they feels they're already a star

So yeah I think you know what I'm going for, something that can make wrestlers slow down or even stop developing if they feel they are a star, have some complacency creep in. Could work in indys if main eventing shows, but go away if signed by a big company, but then come back if they then get to the top of thst company too.

I'm just fascinated by the challenge of having to book around... Cesaro Section/Rusev Day/Kofi & Daniel Bryan's rises/Roman & Rollins being rejected. TEW doesn't really do that, I feel, and it's so common in WWE.

Small negative if they're a heel.

Crowd Rejection - This worker has been chosen by a vocal minority of fans as someone to boo regardless of performance or booking. Small bonus if they're a heel. Small negative if they're a babyface.

Again, I'm not sure it really works for attributes, as one promotion's favourite is another promotion's just-another-guy. I'm just fascinated by the challenge of having to book around... Cesaro Section/Rusev Day/Kofi & Daniel Bryan's rises/Roman & Rollins being rejected. TEW doesn't really do that, I feel, and it's so common in WWE.

I figured that would actually be the best way of handling it. Because it would be an attribute of who they are. People love this person, people hate this persson. I do love yours, as you went for the more subtle one and the ones that could literally end up on a quite a lot more than mine (as those are the more outliers).

It would also make the booking a lot more fun, I think. As it would allow you to try to win those people over to what you are accomplishing, or serve as a recipe to go "how can I use them to my advantage" type of deal.

And yeah, it is very common in the WWE for this to happen, but you can see it also happen with other companies as well. The WWE though is the biggest so the minority can get pretty vocal about things.

Edit: Right, an attribute.

Once More - This person usually brings his A game every time. Even more on the biggest stage. Bonus to match quality.

Please Go - This person just never seems to perform to his bests abilities for whatever reason. Worse on the biggest stages. Negative to match quality.

Am I the only one who is extremely excited about the new attributes shown the past few days? I feel like this will change TEW so much for the better. This will make people think about having older workers, and guys who can be leaders on the roster to help train young guys and a bunch of other things. This has changed the game for splits now too. Each company is gonna have to thing about keeping older guys to help boost some younger guys

Nope, you are definitely not the only one. It really allows each worker to be crafted and feel unique in ways that weren't really possible before. Huge fan of the concept and what its sounds like so far, the application as well.
