NICKMAN'S INVASION - NOVEMBER 2001

- After helping Austin win at Halloween Havoc, Vince has turned full babyface now, and declares he's taking HIS World Wrestling Federation back. Bischoff says he doesn't want to have to share control of the WWF anymore, he wants FULL control. The first Smackdown! after Halloween Havoc, the nWo turns on Shane McMahon, setting him up for a Jackknife Powerbomb through the announce desk, and forcing Vince to agree to a Survivor Series match for full control of the WWF. It'll be Team Bischoff vs Team Vince!!

- The new WCW World Heavyweight Champion Ric Flair has reformed the Four Horsemen with Chris Benoit, Dean Malenko & Perry Saturn. After Benoit soundly defeats Billy Kidman on Raw, he keeps the Crippler Crossface locked on, leading to Kidman's friends Eddie & Rey making the save. Eddie then joins the Filthy Animals as they face off against Malenko, Saturn & Benoit throughout November.

- Triple H comes out with the New Age Outlaws to a tremendous pop. D-Generation X is back and they have their sights set on the New World Order! On Raw the second week of November, the Outlaws drop the WWF Tag Titles to the Outsiders due to the sheer numbers advantage of the nWo.

- Wasting no time at all, Booker T calls for his World Heavyweight title rematch against Flair on the first Smackdown! after Halloween Havoc. He loses the match though, after Kurt Angle interferes and beats down Booker T after the match. He continues to attack Booker throughout November, and they eventually agree to a match at Survivor Series.

- The Rock declares he's not done with Hogan, despite losing to him at Halloween Havoc. Vince announces Austin & The Rock as the first two members of his team at Survivor Series, Bischoff announces the Big Show and Hogan.

- Triple H and the New Age Outlaws agree to a Survivor Series match against Nash, Hall and the Steiner Brothers, but who will be DX's number 4?

- Victoria defends her Women's title against Molly Holly on Smackdown!, and Chyna makes the save when Victoria, Stacy & Torrie attack Molly after the match.

- Jericho feuds with DDP throughout November, which leads to him putting his Intercontinental championship on the line at the PPV.

- The final Smackdown! before Survivor Series is a night full of reveals, Vince announces the fourth member of Team Vince will be the Big Red Machine, Kane... while D-Generation X reveal their number 4 will be the Heartbreak Kid, Shawn Michaels! The Four Horsemen challenge Filthy Animals to a Survivor Series match and Chavo ends up volunteering to be on the Animals' team... while we still have no idea who the fourth man for Team Bischoff will be!

I really hope you guys aren't getting too sick of me spamming this thread with these. I've only got four to go and I'm really enjoying this trip down memory lane as I get ready to pick this universe back up in TEW2020.

Hopefully some of you get something out of this too!!

This has been awesome to read. Thanks for this man!

NICKMAN'S INVASION - DECEMBER 2001

- The night after Survivor Series, Eric Bischoff, who now has complete control in the WWF, rebrands WWF RAW is WAR as WCW Monday Nitro, reinstates Mike Tenay, Tony Schiavone and Bobby Heenan, while banishing JR, the King and the entire WWF roster to Smackdown!

- Sting wants a World Heavyweight title shot against Flair, but Bischoff grants one to Scott Hall instead. During the match, the nWo beats down the Four Horsemen AND Sting. The following week Flair calls out Hogan & Big Show, and they have him outnumbered until Sting makes the save.

- The Filthy Animals continue to fight with the Four Horsemen, and eventually a match between Eddie & Benoit is booked for the PPV. Chavo eventually offers Dean Malenko a Cruiserweight title shot as he's tired of the sneak attacks.

- Booker T says he isn't done with Kurt Angle after losing to him at Survivor Series under dodgy circumstances, they continually attack each other throughout December, which eventually leads to Bischoff booking them to face each other at the PPV in a Submission match.

- Over on Smackdown!, Vince gives a "state of the WWF" to his troops, claiming he will still find a way to win this war.

- The New Age Outlaws defeat T&A for a shot at the WWF Tag titles on Nitro, similarly Edge & Christian say they are using their rematch to face Team Canada the following week on Smackdown!

- On Nitro, the Outsiders call out Triple H and Shawn Michaels, but the Steiners ambush them and HBK gets Powerbombed through a table. With the help of Triple H the New Age Outlaws get the WWF Tag titles back off Hall and Nash later that night. The Steiners then make it their business to go after the Outlaws, and Bischoff eventually grants them a title shot at the PPV.

- Meanwhile Edge & Christian are unsuccessful in their match against Team Canada for the WCW Tag titles. The Hardys and Edge & Christian battle with Palumbo & O'Haire and Team Canada and eventually an eight-man tag match is booked for the PPV.

- Austin defends his WWF Championship against The Rock on Smackdown! when all hell breaks lose as the Undertaker returns as the Deadman and goes after the People's champion! Following the match, the Outsiders beat-down Austin.

- Bischoff cancels Armageddon and replaces it with WCW Starrcade, and promises all titles held by a WCW guy will be defended. Austin storms out and says he'll also put his WWF Championship on the line against Kevin Nash.

- Hogan wants a title shot against Flair at Starrcade, but Sting wants one too. Bischoff tells Sting he'll be included in the match if he defeats the Big Show, which he promptly does when Kane attacks the other giant.

- Chyna, Molly, Jacqueline, Trish and Lita all argue over who should get a Women's title shot next. The next week Chyna is found backstage after being put through a glass door (I think she goes back to rehab here). When the women continually brawl on both shows, Eric eventually books a 6-way Ladder match for the Women's Title at Starrcade.

- DDP and Jericho continue their rivalry, Jericho is now the leader of Team Canada along with Lance Storm and Mike Awesome. Bischoff books Jericho vs DDP for the Intercontinental title at Starrcade.

- With Nash having a match at Starrcade, Triple H goes after Scott Hall, challenging him to put the United States title on the line at the PPV. Hall comes through the crowd after HHH defeats Big Boss Man on Smackdown!, takes him out, and then says he accepts his challenge.

- The Undertaker makes it personal with The Rock, saying he want to end his career, he costs The Rock his Intercontinental title shot against Jericho on Smackdown!, and continues to beat him down as we go off the air. On the final episode of Smackdown! for the year, the two WWF greats agree to a match at Starrcade.

- After continually brawling throughout December, Big Show calls out Kane and challenges him to Hell in a Cell... one last time.

Oh, thanks heaps for the feedback, I was really worried I was bogging down the thread with these (well, TWO threads actually). It was a bit of a labour of love but I really enjoyed going back over that, I couldn’t remember half that stuff!

The good news though is that I’ve now caught up to where I currently am, so it’s onwards with TEW2020!

CZCW 2029 Update:

Breaking news coming out of California this evening is that it has been revealed that late last year Owner of CZCW, Cliff Anderson, had stepped down from his role in the company and had relinquished the power to long-time booker of the company Fox Mask. It is said that Fox Mask was behind the decision to back out of the confederation of the territories and behind the start of this war with QAW. In response to leaving the COTT, CZCW wasted no time in creating their own, new alliance in The Coastal Connection which includes their developmental companies (Kanzen, WINNOW and CWWF) as well as international companies CILL, SAISHO, PGHW and ZEN. An official press release by the company described this as a way to spread their wings and create connections all over the world as they continue to grow but the feeling within the COTT camp is that this is a direct spit in the face of the alliance that helped them so much. We would not be surprised if that over the next few months CZCW goes to war with the rest of their former allies and not just QAW.

That's not all. Following the signing of international superstar Brooke Tyler at the start of the year their are heavy rumours that CZCW have now secured the signing of USPW legend and 16 time women's champion Alicia Strong on a big-money deal. With the additions of these two legendary competitors, as well as stealing Charity Sweet from QAW, it seems that CZCW could be unstoppable in their upward momentum. The likelihood is that Strong will make her debut at CZCW's premiere event Welcome to the coastal zone in a little over two months time.

One month into a TNA save on the ruthless aggression mod and Linda McMahon took over the company after Vince passed away and Bischoff has the book. Then a week after that they fired a ton of people, Cena,Jericho, Booker T, Edge, Christian and Rhyno. My main event just got way more legitimate.

<p>On the way to CZCW's 'Biggest ever year' as it has been called they have made two more monster announcements. Their are also unconfirmed rumours currently that they will end out the year in Australia with a Summer Showdown event alongside Allies ZEN.</p><p> </p><p>

The other big announcement was that, in November, instead of running their usual one night tournaments they will be running a 20 man round robin tournament and it has been described as the biggest tournament in the history of professional wrestling. Welcome to the coastal zone went off without a hitch and surely has to be seen as one of the greatest PPV's ever with three blockbuster main events and two 100 rated matches. Even the midcard delivered some bangers with the Prime Time and Extreme title matches being definite highlights. Here's how the show went down:

One pre-show match that got cut from the main show from time constraints saw former friends Kira Lee and Skye Hermosa go head to head with Kira picking up the win-81

Following an incredible hype video we kicked off the show with a TCC (The Coastal Connection) tag title match where the first ever champions Higa and Quinn put the titles on the line against Ellie De Grazia and new member of the roster Charity Sweet who had dubbed themselves The Blonde Bitches. It was a long and arduous encounter that ended up seeing The Blondes pick up the titles when Charity Sweet pinned Zel Quinn-99

Alex Taylor defeated Bestia De La Selva following a return distraction from Chris Ball-66

Nate DeMarcus defeated Snap Dragon II to make their series a 2-1 win for DeMarcus-86

following the match the two decided they wanted to be a team heading forward.

The Reckoning retained their tag titles against Joy Ryder and Maria Guest (Guest and Ryder)-88

The Reckoning continued to punish Ryder and Guest following the match when Naoji Azumi ran to the save. Our extreme title match comes "earlier" than expected

La Arana defeated Naoji Azumi to win the CZCW Extreme Title-92

Filler 6 man tag match saw Americana Jr, Syd Collier and Celeste Moon defeated King Tiger and Old School Rules (The Historian and Bruiser Tony).

Tommy Cornell Jr has a backstage interview where he promises that tonight he will finally step out of the shadow of his father by beating him fair and square and ending his career.

Air Raid Syren defeated Will Beaumont to win the CZCW Prime Time Title-91

Tommy Cornell has a backstage interview where he says he has had a long and incredible career but that he wants to go out on his own terms and not at the hands of his son. He says what his son did broke him and left him in a weird place so tonight he will win and put this entire sage behind him for good.

Edd Stone and Son Of Vengeance went to a double count out-66

Edd and SoV keep brawling, the GM sends out staff to break it up but SoV ends up throwing Edd Stone out of the ring and on top of all of them. Emma Chase, his manager, then promises to destroy the winner of tonight's CZCW Title match.

Alicia Strong defeated Brooke Tyler and Tigre Salvaje Jr in a triple threat match to become the first ever TCC World Champion-100!

Dreadnought defeated Lucy Stone-McFly to make the 6th defence of his CZCW Title-100! (Great Chemistry!)

Tommy Cornell Jr defeated Tommy Cornell to officially retire Tommy Cornell-99

Mental that you wait so long for a 100 and then two come along at once lol.

Show rating: 100

Reasoning behind some of the decisions made:

Higa and Quinn lost the titles because the story behind it was good, Ellie and Sweet are better for the tag division and Higa is ever-present in the main event scene so a title isnt necessary for that.

Over the next couple of months we will team up Alex Taylor and Chris Ball but with Elliot Austin gone (He joined SWF RIP) Professor Rusterholz will try and tempt him to join The Reckoning and I think right now that he will go for it and don a mask and become a different character for a while. This would then lead to a rivalry with Chris Ball who we will team up with his girlfriend in game, Romi Yamato.

Nate DeMarcus is moving into yet another team (his 3rd since joining the company) because he isn't really main event quality anymore after being surpassed since his CZCW Title run and he suits tag team wrestling so much. After the breakup of The Californian Queens and Elliot Austin leaving it left our tag division pretty lacking which is why the tag title match on this show was very meh so we're going to spend the next 6 months really re-igniting that division. This has already started with the addition of The Blonde Bitches and now DeMarcus and Dragon.

The two midcard titles changing hands was always in the plans and Air Raid Syren being the one to end Will Beaumont's excellent run as Prime Time champion worked very very well in the end. She was someone I really wanted to push when the save started but fell of very quickly and ended up leaving before returning for 2 years in Developmental and now she's killing it as a solid midcarder with high potential.

The TCC world title match was incredible and I thought it had the best chance of getting a 100 and it did which was fantastic. I didn't really decide who would win out of Alicia Strong and Brooke Tyler literally until I was on the booking screen but I've decided that Strong will have a solid run before losing it to Tyler probably around Hardcore Halloween.

Dreadnought's run as CZCW champion has been fantastic so far and I decided about two months beforehand that he would retain here as it had been a while since the winner of The Uprising had gone on to lose at the biggest show of the year and Lucy Stone-McFly continuing the chase makes it better down the line when she wins the title from Dreadnought for good.

TCJ vs Cornell just HAD to main event. This was the end of the career of literally the greatest wrestler of all time and anything following that was never going to live up to expectations, at least emotional wise. Cornell's stamina is basically gone at this point so it's the best time to end it here and TCJ ending it was basically a must. He turned 'heel' back in February and has got himself a valet in Marina Del Ray and has wanted to stop being in the shadow of his father who seems to overshadow literally everything he does. The current plans for the main event of next year's WTTCZ will see either Lucy Stone-McFly defend against TCJ or have a fatal 4 way between Lucy, TCJ, Jack Pryde and Dreadnought. We will definitely see.

NICKMAN'S INVASION - WEEK 1, JANUARY 2002

So I've finally gotten around to booking the first WCW Nitro and WWF Smackdown! for the new year in TEW2020. The game seems to have converted quite well and is playing nicely. Only thing I've had to do is edit a few of the popularities to align with my save (especially a lot of my development guys who needed to be edited DOWN).

So here we have the first Nitro:

20020101.png

What happened at the start of the show here, Austin wanted his rematch for the WWF Championship, but Nash and Hogan "swapped" world titles. Bischoff tells him this means he no longer gets a rematch as Nash is no longer the WWF Champion.

And Week 1 January Smackdown!...

20020104.png

Like he did with Starrcade, Bischoff wanted to cancel the Royal Rumble and replace it with Souled Out, but Linda McMahon informed him that as one of the "Big Four", Bischoff is contractually obligated to hold the Royal Rumble. Later in the night he books Austin vs Crash as the Main Event, to basically show how crappy the WWF is in comparison to WCW.

Unfortunately, both these shows feel a bit aimless as I refamiliarise myself with the save and head towards the Royal Rumble. I know where I eventually want to go with the Rumble/WrestleMania X8, but getting there I'm still a bit unsure of.

Happy to take any suggestions along the way...

Just started a WWF in 97 save using The War Rages On mod.

Keeping mainly to script with the bigger stuff (Austin/Hart feuding, leading to the formation of The Hart Foundation; Sid/Undertaker for Wrestlemania) but also went on a signing spree, bringing in LOD to feud with Mankind and Vader, along with Rick Martel and Rick Rude who are tag-teaming under the very silly moniker, Big Rick Energy.

I had an interesting chemistry thing that has changed my Goldust/HHH feud. I had HHH only accept Goldust's challenge as long as he put Marlena on the line. Turns out Marlena and HHH have great chemistry so HHH is going to win that match and I'm going to do a story where Marlena goes from unhappy "captive" to full-blown heel when she turns on Goldust in the feud-ending match.

I need to make some face stables because my heel stable side is loaded. Have the Nation Of Domination, Hart Foundation incoming, The Congregation (a Brother Love-led obnoxious "Faith Healing" stable with Backlund, Wrath and possibly Jake Roberts involved) and a variation of Raven's Flock with Raven, Edge, Christian and Test (who is going by the name Slayer.)

I do like this period in WWF because you have a great nucleus of top guys to work with while having an undercard that needs a lot of work to make interesting. The tag division, in particular, is very bare but I'm hoping Big Rick Energy, LOD and a couple other makeshift teams can improve things.

Yup, I'm stealing "Big rick energy " . I have to do this now

Started a New Japan game in June 2020, just completed Wrestle Kingdom XV (2021):

1. SANADA Def. Minoru Suzuki - SANADA pinned Suzuki in a six-man tag match during the World Tag League tour and Suzuki didn't take too kindly to it, attacking and injuring SANADA (and forcing him to be replaced by Hiromu Takahashi to partner EVIL in the league). SANADA returned to challenge Suzuki and make it clear he isn't afraid of the meanest man in wrestling. He backed it up by forcing Suzuki to pass out in Skull End to pick up the win on the biggest stage in wrestling. Suzuki-Gun and LiJ will be closely linked throughout 2021 due to a big storyline involving EVIL so this probably won't be the last time these two new rivals face off.

2. El Phantasmo & Taiji Ishimori Def. El Desperado & Yoshinobu Kanemaru to win the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship - Phantasmo & Ishimori won the Super Jr. Tag League to earn the title shot and win the belts from the Suzuki-Gun duo. This will eventually lead to a title unification match at the The New Beginning.

3. Jeff Hardy Def. Juice Robinson to win the IWGP United States Championship - I've been keeping true to life and steadily building up the US expansion which included bringing in Jeff Hardy when his contract expired. While I don't intend to base the expansion around ex-WWE guys he's a big name with plenty of popularity to help build up other guys. Juice has been the face of the US tv show so far but dropped the title here.

4. Jay White Def. KENTA - Jay White decided that KENTA wasn't pulling his weight in Bullet Club, turning on him and kicking him out of the group as I look to get them back to basics throughout 2021. KENTA joined Hirooki Goto's new group, more about them in a bit, and went after Jay but despite showing sparks of his old self wasn't able to beat the Switchblade.

5. Roppongi 3K Def. The Good Brothers to win the IWGP Tag Team Championship - Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows returned as members of Bullet Club in July and quickly won the tag titles, mowing down the competition. SHO & YOH entered the World Tag League to prove that weight classes didn't matter in tag competition and pulled off the win and further cemented themselves as the team in New Japan by winning the titles from Gallows & Anderson. They'll face off with Phantasmo & Ishimori to unify the titles as part of my efforts to strengthen the tag division.

6. Zack Sabre Jr. Def. Hiroshi Tanahashi to retain the NEVER Openweight Championship - Zack Sabre Jr. won the NEVER Openweight title from Shingo in September and proceeded to beat Goto, Toru Yano and Ospreay while all the time gunning for Tanahashi who beat him during the G1. Tanahashi accepted the challenge as he tries to prove he's still got what it takes to be a champion but came up short to Sabre who has a big 2021 ahead of him.

7. Hiromu Takahashi Def. Ryu Lee to retain the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship - Takahashi has held the title for a full year and has beaten everyone put in front of him including both members of Roppongi 3K and Darby Allin. Ryu Lee, who Takahashi beat in September, stepped up to challenge his long-time rival in Hiromu in the Dome but Takahashi pulled off the win yet again. Takahashi might think he has no challengers yet but with Hirai Kawao and Shota Umino about to return he thinks wrong.

8. Hirooki Goto Def. Tomohiro Ishii to win the IWGP Intercontinental Championship - Hirooki Goto shockingly turned on his CHAOS team mates, attacking Okada following the G1 and taking YOSHI-HASHI and Mikey Nichols with him to reform RISE, which was rounded out by KENTA and Shotaro Ashino. Goto was sick of being overlooked and brought together a group of people who felt the same. Wrestle Kingdom was RISE's biggest win yet as Goto took the Intercontinental title from Ishii, who had bested Naito for the title in the biggest win of his career at Destruction. RISE and CHAOS will be linked throughout 2021 as an inevitable clash between Goto and Okada looms down the line.

9. Kota Ibushi Def. Kenny Omega - Ibushi seemingly had nothing to do for Wrestle Kingdom after losing to Okada in the G1 Climax finals, so laid down an open challenge and it was AEW's Kenny Omega who answered. Omega returned for a one off match against his oldest friend, teammate and rival. Ibushi came out on top in the match of the night, narrowly beating the main event by two points, but can this win propel him to his first IWGP Heavyweight Championship?

10. Kazuchika Okada Def. Tetsuya Naito to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship - Okada won the G1 Climax and the right to challenge Naito in a rematch for the IWGP Heavyweight Championship. Despite the breakaway of Goto's turncoats in RISE Okada was firmly focused on this match and winning back a title he firmly feels is his destiny. This was another excellent match between the two biggest stars in New Japan and this time it was Okada's moment to walk out of Wrestle Kingdom once again as champion. The two won't see a lot of each other in 2021 as CHAOS feuds with RISE and LiJ have a big story with Suzuki-Gun ahead but I wouldn't be surprised to see this match happen again given that it always delivers.

QAW July 2021

I have Boss Man Brayfield on the roster with nothing to do (Ava & Lily don't need a manager). So I made him the General Manager on my B-show and essentially turned him into Teddy Long. :p Show opens with a schmozz and Boss Man comes out and makes a tag team match (playa!). And to punish midcard heels, he makes them go one-on-one with the Mayan Mauler, Ursula Saez. Not quite THE UNDERTAKER but at Middleweight, she's the biggest babyface on the roster so....

WWF MAY 1991

I’m playing a 1991 Mod as the WWF and have just started to get the hang of TEW2020. I am enjoying the new changes and challenges of the game, and whilst I know its not the most complete Mod conversion, touch wood I haven’t noticed anything that has thrown too much of a spanner in the works yet;

Champions:

World Champion: Macho Man Randy Savage(Won it at WM7 in a Triple Threat with Hogan and Warrior)

IC Title: Mr Perfect(Champion since my start in Jan 1991)

Tag Team Champions(Champions Since WM7 when they beat the Hart Foundation)

I’m in May heading to my first UK Rampage special as a way of boosting my popularity in UK, at the moment I am limited on my TV deals being right on the cusp of Medium>Big and needing a point in a few regions to push me to Big where I will try and get a few more deals to give me an international exposure.

Heading into the show Macho Man will be defending his title against Davey Boy after he won a Battle Royal on Superstars to crown the number one contender. The winner will meet the number one contender Ricky Steamboat at King of the Ring 1991. Ricky and Macho have had the post Mania feud for the belt playing up that Macho Man can’t get the win over Ricky after WM3. At SNME in April the two went to a Iron Man 30 Mins Draw. Ricky has been mentoring Bulldog so Macho Man has bought back Dynamite Kid who is angry at being cast aside by Bulldog. At the show Ricky Steamboat and Dynamite Kid will face off as well as being in the retrospective corners.

Hogan and Warrior have a tension from WM7. Hogan is much more straight face but Warrior has confidence issues. He thinks Hogan wants his win back. They have now teased a 2nd match but are currently in a feud with The Natural Disasters. Typhoon and Earthquake are pretty hot at the moment. Warrior has been hurt in the build to there tag match at UK Rampage, and Jimmy Hart has teased a third Disaster in the UK(Giant Haystacks/Loch Ness) who will be in their corner. At the show Big Daddy(UK legend) will be with Hogan and Warrior just to give the match as much star power as possible. Then at King of the Ring I will be moving Hogan and Warrior into a contract signing for there 2nd match at Summerslam 91

Roddy Piper had Mr Perfect beat and put to sleep at SNME but Heenan got involved and caused the DQ. Roddy wants his first taste of gold in the WWF, and due to a clause in his contract, if Heenan caused a DQ, he would be granted a rematch and the opportunity to name a corner man. He has invited Perfect and Heenan to Pipers Pit in the UK to reveal the BIG surprise(Andre the Giant), they will then meet at King of the Ring

Shawn Michaels has already teased a turn, using the tights to defend the Rockers tag titles at SNME in a match against The Fantastics. They were granted a rematch but Shawn feigned a knee injury and got counted out so as to stay fresh for his 1st Round King of the Ring match. Marty is worried but trusts him. The Fantastics will get another shot before Money Inc are moved in.

The Undertaker is face, I pulled the trigger as the face side of the roster was sparse with Warrior and Hogan tied in a feud together. Taker is feuding with Berzerker currently. At King of the Ring they will fight in the first Coffin Match in WWF. Taker is on the build currently but Berzerker has been pretty good. I am planning to move him into a tag team in the Autumn and name his Ragnor the Berzerker to give him a bit more legs.

King of the Ring is designed to continue the push of both Bret Hart and Sid Justice who will meet eventually in the finals. Sid is fresh of destroying Jimmy Snuka, he has put a risk on Big Bossman making the tournament, as well as writing of Jim Neidhart after the Hart Foundation “split”. Hart is building, and is the first man through in the tournament. Brackets are;

Bret Hart beat Sgt Slaughter

The Mountie v Marty Jannetty

Ted Dibease v Owen Hart

Shawn Michaels beat IRS

Sid Justice v Virgil

Jim Duggan v Rick Martel

Big Bossman v Superstar Steve Williams

Brian Pillman v Haku

Jim Duggan and Virgil are on a mission to get Sgt Slaughter to trust America again, and get him back on side. Slaughter is on the decline but is over. He can’t bring himself to believe he can have his country back just yet.

I am finally putting a bow on the Martel/Tito break up and storyline. They will most likely finish up at King of the Ring.

Sherri has been moved away from Macho Man and is Scary Sherri who is managing Nasty Boys. They are moving into a feud with Brian Pillman and Owen Hart before I launch a “lightheavyweight” belt. I am toying with the title at the moment, as I want a lower mid card, but I am not sure whether I want to limit my options.

Animal is mentoring Crush whilst Hawk is in rehab. This will eventually turn Crush when the return happens. At the moment they are knee deep in a feud with Fuji and the Orient Express. Muscle has been bought in by Fuji in Barbarian, and Tiger Mask has joined with the LOD to fight against them. My plan is to move Tiger Mask into a tag with Pat Tanaka(if I don’t go Light Heavyweight) and build him in the fast openers.

Jake Roberts and Texas Tornado are in rehab too. I have plans for both if they can kick the habit.

I am kicking around the idea of launching a second company, Tri State Wrestling and then sign up people I will have room for in a year or two(Headshrinkers, Razor, Diesel, Doink, Candido).

I’ve signed Jerry Lawler who will go into a feud with Bret to legitimise him after King of the Ring.

I am sitting on the availability of Ric Flair whose contract will be up soon. I won’t go higher than Hogan’s deal though so I am not 100% I will be able to sign him. If he does sign then I have big plans for Naitch.

<p>Using TheWho's august 2020 Mod, I'm finally enjoying a game again, this time as NXT-UK. After two months of WWE just signing one person, a female wrestler for me called Felony, Vince died and Stephanie took over, and then the fun started. 27 new signings. Too many to list but noted ones are Jon Moxley, Jake Hager, MJF, Orange Cassidy, Matt Hardy, Frankie Kazarian, JTG, Santana and Ortiz, Enzo Amore, Ryback, Brodie Lee and Sammy Guevara. Absolutely crazy.</p><p> </p><p>

We've dropped to Tiny. None of my guys are really over. Top guys are Moustache Mountain who I've given the Tag Titles to for now. Walter is constantly used by WXW so gave title to Onay Lorcan as he was my most over face, but then Noam Dar shocked me with his massive step up in overness after a small nonsense feud with Ridge Holland. Women's division hasn't really changed except for Candy Floss being the most over face and only behind Piper Niven and Kay lee Ray.</p>

<p>SENSHI Pro Wrestling: Year One</p><p> </p><p>

SENSHI Pro Wrestling 2020</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>The original concept:</strong> </p><p>

Took on The Great Avatar as my player and renamed him Tetsujin (Iron Man). I signed up 26 workers that weren't in any way connected to another federation. The starting rule was that they had to be fully unemployed on day 1. This will probably be the last you'll hear of Tetsujin, he's only decent as fodder for developing talent. In fact, I'm entering 2023 and he hasn't won a match.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Product:</strong> </p><p>

For 2020 and part of 2021 I had been running the product as Modern Puroresu, but I tweaked it a little to copy King's Road Puroresu so I didn't have to emphasize my angles as much for 2021 and beyond.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Angles:</strong> </p><p>

I try to keep angles short and simple at 1 minute, I'm not into extensive storytelling outside of the ring. Although I will break out the occasional 3-5min angle to emphasize something crazy that happened. For example, I had the Black Iron Corps breakup and created a face-off moment where Fujio and Kita were feuding like maniacs and Kita's ruthless brutality setting up Fujio as the sympathetic face. Or when Yama Okami (aka a heel Running Wolf) had this open challenge system during his World Championship run and Shingen Miyazaki came out of the crowd to accept the challenge for the upcoming event. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Booking events/shows:</strong> </p><p>

At first I had setup one event a week and held that for about 6 months of bookings. Then I cut the events to 2 per month (on Saturdays only) and added a Monday weekly 1hr30min television show called Battlevision. Before 2020 would end I'd have my Thursday night b-show, Underground, established and also at 1hr30min. I find this funny because I was trying to avoid running a touring schedule, but I'm essentially booking the same amount of matches as I would with a touring schedule. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Titles:</strong> </p><p>

For titles I purchased all of the old Golden Canvas Grappling titles and renamed them SENSHI World Championship, SENSHI Regional Championship, and SENSHI World Tag Team Championship. I added an end-of-the-year 15man battle royale called King of Kings where you can win the King's Cup in Dec 2020, and a TV title in 2021. Figured I could also focus some GCG true born talent into the mix. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Original Roster:</strong> </p><p>

I started out with 26 wrestlers, 2 referees, 2 managers, 1 announcer, 1 colour commentary, and 3 road agents. Some of these positions overlapped with each other and I had them on 3mo, 6mo, and 9mo contracts depending on how I felt that performer would do. So far out of the 26 wrestlers I signed, about 8 remain at the end of 2022. 6 of them are certifiably future Hall of Fame for SENSHI, the other 2 are still in some level of development. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Jan 2020 to Mar 2020:</strong></p><p>

I ran matches for 2 months and didn't select a winner or loser, I left that for the road agents to decide while I kept an eye on wins and losses. During the last 3 events in March I paired off my best heels and faces to establish the inaugural champions for World, Regional, and World Tag Team. </p><p>

<em>World Championship:</em> </p><p>

Shingen Miyazaki defeated Taheiji Konoe at SENSHI Welcome to the Terrordome 2020 (Mar 2020, wk 1)</p><p>

<em>Regional Championship:</em> </p><p>

Masashi Urogataya defeated Danjuro Kikuchi at SENSHI The Trial (Mar 2020, wk 2)</p><p>

<em>World Tag Team Championship:</em> </p><p>

Kyuichi Matsumoto & Eikichi Itou defeated Washichi Inao & Oda Yakuta at SENSHI Golden Challenge (Mar 2020, wk 3)</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Apr 2020 to July 2020:</strong> </p><p>

I started to move some titles around in July, trying to seek out some better champions and different match combinations since I had about 40 wrestlers at this point. This created more problems than I wanted and ended up having to do some housecleaning by the time July wrapped up.</p><p>

<em>World Champion:</em> </p><p>

I made a mistake by taking the title off Shingen Miyazaki after 11 rock solid defenses. Since I had the old GCG belts, it meant that Jimmy Cox was already apart of the lineage of the World title. I felt like it would be a fun storyline where Cox gets to hold the belt for a little bit of nostalgia pop and transition to a strong young heel like Kyuichi Matsumoto. This fell apart as Jimmy became a total primadonna who wouldn't relinquish the title to anyone. So I had Matsumoto come in and win the title off Jimmy Cox who also wasn't ready yet. The match was a total stinker. One match later, Matsumoto goes down for 3 months with a minor concussion and I'm throwing Shingen into a match against Urogataya to bring things back to regular. So after a little hot potato action, Shingen Miyazaki gets the world title back by the last event of July. </p><p>

<em>Regional Champion:</em> </p><p>

This title created my best matches for 2020. Masashi Urogataya, Danjuro Kikuchi, Kuniyoshi Kawamura, and Lion Genji passed this title around and got around 75+ each time. Also Burning Hammer left go of an aging Koshiro Ino and a prime Reijiro Hiraki. Both of these guys slid right into the Regional title picture in July 2020. </p><p>

<em>World Tag Team Champions:</em> </p><p>

This one was puzzling. Matsumoto and Itou were great, then each match after that showed diminishing returns. I think the tag division needed more development and I probably should have sat the year out and worked on developing teams before crowning a champ. So I moved the title to Kenko Takemitsu and Washi Tanaka (aka Washi Heat without a mask) who were showing far better chemistry. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Aug 2020 to Nov 2020:</strong> </p><p>

Here's where things started to heat up and the rules I founded on SENSHI started to shift due to outside competition. Burning Hammer started poaching talent from me in Danjuro Kikuchi, Washichi Inao, Kenko Takemitsu, and Washi Takada. I felt like I'd end up on a treadmill if I kept SENSHI running the way it was. So I started signing stronger contracts and rotating in more talent from other companies on a handshake. </p><p>

<em>World Championship:</em> </p><p>

Shingen Miyazaki was holding strong with his world title till I accidentally shook things up. I was running out of contenders at the moment so I started combining 3 & 4-way matches. In November, Mitsunari Fugunaga (freelancer heel on a 3mo contract) defeated Shingen Miyazaki when I forgot to assign a winner. Turned out to be an excellent little heel run that boosted the title's prestige and would help transition to the next major babyface in Jan 2021. </p><p>

<em>Regional Champion:</em> </p><p>

Had Koshiro Ino win to drop the belt to Reijiro Hiraki in a fatal 3-way. Hiraki retains the Regional belt all the way to early Dec 2020 and becomes such a strong champion that I rename the belt the SENSHI Intercontinental Championship for 2021. </p><p>

<em>World Tag Team Champions:</em> </p><p>

I was puttering along with the mediocre Supreme Demolition (Kuniyoshi Kawamura & Hammer Hadley) until I got lucky with JOJI and Koshiro Ino as Sons of Abandon. Ino's storyline is that it's his last shot as an aging former champ and JOJI's story is he wants to prove himself as a true Japanese talent and not some dreadlock'ed former soft drug user. </p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Dec 2020:</strong> </p><p>

Back in Aug 2020 Running Wolf's contract was up with USPW and during that 28 day period he managed to get let go due to a social media storm involving some incendiary political comments. Nobody signed him and he sat as a free agent until I took a "wild card moment" went into the in-game editor for the $$$ to sign Running Wolf to a 5 year contract. In the storyline I made it some odd moment where Tetsujin inherited $$$ and put it into the company. I also made it storyline that he was glad someone was allowing him to explain his side of the story and that USPW booted him under false pretenses. SENSHI took a small momentum and prestige hit, but it wasn't much since there was already a wave of talent on the rise. Finally, I tweaked the product from Modern Puroresu to King's Road Puroresu. It's also become an in-game tradition for me to gift SENSHI a wild card moment every December.</p><p>

<em>World Championship:</em> </p><p>

Mitsunari Fugunaga would close out the year as champion. The storyline was that Fugunaga was leaving SENSHI with the title when his contract expired on Jan 2021. Shingen Miyazaki was positioned as SENSHI's only hope going into the finale show SENSHI Meltdown. Miyazaki would lose to Fugunaga decisively, and it would be a nice cliffhanger to go on holiday with in to 2021. </p><p>

<em>Regional Champion:</em> </p><p>

Hiraki loses early Dec to Running Wolf in a 3-way who would later lose to Lion Genji in a fatal 3-way with Urogataya at the event finale, Meltdown.</p><p>

<em>World Tag Team Champions:</em> </p><p>

Sons of Abandon (Koshiro Ino & JOJI) would finish the year off feuding with Black Iron Corps (Azumamaro Kita and Fujio Narahashi). At this point I thought I could get the Corps to be a major heel team, but the crowd wants nothing to do with Fujio. So at the finale Fujio is showing babyface tendencies and argues with Kita after they lose to the Sons of Abandon for the 2nd time. </p><p>

<em>King's Cup</em> </p><p>

This wasn't much but helped me use a glut of talent by the time this match rolled around. The King of Kings is a 15-man mayhem battle royal. Criterion for the match are; must be a former SENSHI (or GCG) champion or at least scored a win in SENSHI on the year. Kiyotaka won in a match rated 49. It sucked, but it's also the first year of SENSHI and I'm getting anywhere from 10 to 80 in match quality on anything I book, feels like a crap shoot for now.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>Best Wrestlers in SENSHI by Dec 2020</strong></p><p>

1. Reijiro Hiraki - took matches with Urogataya and Shikitei to a new level. So good he bumped a title's prestige that I had to rename it from Regional to Intercontinental. Best titlist for SENSHI this year. Was in 7 of the top 10 matches of 2020 for SENSHI. </p><p>

2. Omezo Shikitei - Edges out Urogataya since his popularity is higher. Never won any of the titles, but solid in every match I threw him in. Was in 3 of the top 5 matches of 2020 for SENSHI.</p><p>

3. Masashi Urogataya - The original Regional champ. Was in 4 of the top 10 matches for SENSHI. Fugunaga offered to put him over for a match and I almost made Urogataya the World Champ. Not yet. </p><p>

4. Azumamaro Shimizu - Same caliber as #2 & #3 but came around in the 2nd half of 2020. Solid mid-card competitor. Put over by Miyazaki and Fugunaga.</p><p>

5. Running Wolf - Only active for SENSHI in December and reeled off 8 70+ matches in a row. He would also get to hold the Regional title before losing it to Lion in Dec. I have big plans for this guy.</p><p>

6. Lion Genji - Another solid competitor who held the Regional belt at the end of 2020. When he's not injured, he's reeling off some amazing matches at 60+.</p><p>

7. Shingen Miyazaki - Solid inaugural World champion. Matched up incredibly with Urogataya, Shikitei, Shimizu, and Fugunaga.</p>

Ahhhhh hahahahahaha

I have a process when I play TEW games to use the Autobooker in order to pump through TV shows and avoid burnout. So I let Autobooker book the show and then I try and work with the segments to make it make sense.

So I was the same as you, I went “why Crash?” and my head canon is that Bischoff is still punishing WWF and Austin by booking a crappy Main Event. “See everybody? You get world title matches on Nitro, but only Austin vs Crash on WWF TV!”

Makes sense. Plus that match could still get a killer rating. Remember Triple H vs. Taka for the title during the reign of terror?

In hindsight I should've swapped the Rock/Regal match with Austin/Crash, but the total show grade was still good enough.

Currently figuring out why Angle/Rikishi is the Main Event of the second episode of Smackdown! and then I'll post my Week 2 results.

<p><p>SWF Save - Now in Feb 2021</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

World Champ - Scythe (just won at the Jan 2021 PPV, When Hell Freezes Over, by chokeslamming Rocky off the stage for a 10 count)</p><p></p><p>

<em>I had Rocky beat Scythe in 2020 and then lose the title to The Crippler at Nothing to Lose so Crippler could get the title reign he deserves. Crippler had a great reign beating Lau, Val & Remo whilst Rocky was occupied with his stable of Atom Smasher, Bear and Primus. Rocky finally regained the title at The Supreme Challenge 40 but shook hands with Crippler to end. Rocky had a good reign but the rematch one year later with Scythe was set and I felt it was definitely Scythe's turn to go with the belt.</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

North American Champ - ZWB (Won at the May 2020 PPV from Des Davids)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Des had a good reign but I realised he had outgrown the belt so I had ZWB win it with a roll-up and had Des move on to the main event. ZWB has had too many 90+ rated matches for a midcard belt but he is ridiculously good for me(now at 85+ pop). He has also outgrown the belt and is going to drop the strap to Atom Smasher at the next PPV, I plan on ZWB beating Remo(sadly in time decline) at The Supreme Challenge 41.</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

World Tag Team Champs - The Awesomeness (Won at July 2020 PPV, The Supreme Challenge 40)</p><p></p><p>

<em>I had Hawaiian Crush take the titles off Fame & Money at the Jan 2020 PPV and hold them until The Supreme Challenge 40 where The Awesomeness won the belts. They are just clearly the best team and only start the game with 2 title reigns(!) so I felt they definitely deserved the straps. They've beaten most the tag teams now in my roster and my current idea is to let them have a year long reign which I think will make it the longest ever tag title reign in SWF history</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

<strong>The Supreme Challenge 40</strong> (July 2020 so a while ago now)</p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Joey Morgan def. Atom Smasher (85)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Rocky was fighting Crippler, Atom, Bear & Primus as previously mentioned and Morgan was his first ally to join the fight. I played on 'previous history' going back to when they both fought The Syndicate way back when in TCW. Rocky's right hand vs Crippler's right hand basically</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Spencer Spade Def. Matty Faith (66)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Matty Faith stood up to Spade's claims of being the best hot prospect. I think around this time USPW signed Matty away from me and since he just failed a steroid test I let it happen and let Spade stomp him</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Des Davids Def. Angry Gilmore (86)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Des' introduction into the main event. He lost the NA title and immediately injured number one contender to the world title Angry Gilmore. Gilmore wasn't cleared for his world title match and wanted to get revenge, but it was definitely Des' time.</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

NA title: ZWB def. Randy Unleashed, John Greed, Lenny Brown & Bret Starr (84) </p><p></p><p>

<em>Wanted to just do ZWB vs Starr if I remember correctly but kind of saw it as a way to get some midcarders on the main card who deserve it. This year I plan on doing a 1 on 1 match for the title which I'd definitely prefer. </em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Scythe Def. Valiant (81)</p><p></p><p>

<em>After losing to Rocky in his first world title match, Scythe flipped his shit and destroyed everyone in sight. Eventually he was suspended after chokeslamming commissioner Eric Eisen. Valiant stood up to him and called for Scythe to be reinstated, getting his wish and match at the big event, but he couldn't stop Scythe who I was prepping for his future (and now current) title reign. </em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Big Cat Brandon Def. Rogue (82)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Brandon had a poor start to 2020 losing his rivalry to Lau and then losing to ZWB on TV. Rogue tried to 'bring back' the animal he knew from the Chase Agency days saying Brandon had gone soft, but when Brandon was pinned in a match featuring Rogue, Rogue had enough and destroyed Brandon with a steel chair. Brandon returned as a face under his Big Cat gimmick and this set up a hardcore match going back to the DaVE days.</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

The Awesomeness Def. Hawaiian Crush and Dallas Cowboys to win the Tag titles (81)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Awesomeness had ruined two tag title matches between Hawaiian Crush and The Cowboys on PPV & TV out of jealousy, and finally got their wish by being put into the match. Thanks to the numbers in Randy & BJ they came through with the tainted win</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Remo Def. Mikey Lau (92)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Remo beat Mikey at The World is Watching in a great match showing Lau was close but not quite there. They went their own way but met in an elimination chamber at the June PPV where Mikey eliminated Remo with a vicious head kick knocking him out. They then agreed to a rematch at The Supreme Challenge 40 where Remo won again but showed respect afterwards. It hasn't happened yet but it's setting up to the time where Mikey of course finally does beat Remo on his way to the world title.</em></p><p> </p><p></p><p>

Rocky Golden def. The Crippler to win back the world title (94)</p><p></p><p>

<em>Incredible main event which I described previously in the world title description. Crippler got his world title reign and Supreme Challenge main event. He is in time decline so I'm glad I snuck this title reign in and now he's put over Lau and will put over stablemate Atom Smasher at The Supreme Challenge 41!</em></p></p>
