Unless he's working for the 'E backstage, maybe the "Arn Anderson Tag Team Tournament"? Or "Arn Anderson Tag Challenge Series"?

 

Given Arn's position in the Four Horsemen was half of a tag team with Ole - and since Ole burnt a lot of bridges, you'd probably not see a "Minnesota Wrecking Crew Tag Team Tournament" - and that Arn was forced to retire due to neck damage that could have paralyzed him, it might make sense for WCW to honor its history with a legend in 2003 whose active career the fans would still remember, but who was never getting in the ring again due to health concerns.

Terry Gordy Memorial Tag Team Classic/Cup

 

He died in 2001, was a well-liked wrestler and he won several tag team championships, tournaments and tag team of the year awards. He was also a member of one of the most popular teams in the history of wrestling.

Does anyone know of any mods that have increased the number of "team names" available when pressing suggest a name? I personally suck at coming up with names and so I use this feature a lot. I just keep clicking until something strikes me as good.

I like the Arn Anderson Invitational idea. Though I actually released him after he went into rehab for a drug problem!</p><p> </p><p>

My other idea was to change the name of the tournament every year. Arn Anderson invitational 2003. Midnight Express invitational 2004. Rock & Roll Express invitational 2005, etc etc.</p>

For a heel stable, I've been using DD# in my current game, standing for Damn Dirty ____. However many guys you have you can just replace the number at the end. I started with DD4, consisting of Wolf Hawkins, Eric Eisen, Casey Valentine, and Xavi Ferrara, moved to DD5 when I brought in Antonio Marquez, and I'm back to DD4 now that they've given Wolf the boot.</p>

Going to sign them as a heel team and the current tag name seems only fit for a face team. I'm open to renaming them individually so they can be a "brother" or "cousin" team. I'm thinking a wild men/backwoods/evil hillbilly/Wyatt Family type vibe.</p><p> </p><p>

He could enlist the "Good Ol' Boys" to do his dirty work and pair them with another singles competitor for a stable or "The Boss Man" could be looking to help his new clients get some of that sweet moo'lah from being Tag-Team Champs.</p><p> </p><p> You could also run Playboy Jake Sawyer, Duke Hazzard (Which would go great with The Good Ol' Boys), or even CJ Weston could fit the role if you use his extended name. I mean the whole idea of Good Ol' Boys politics down south has quite the negative connotation in this day and age.</p><p> </p><p> However if you're going for something a little deeper south creepy Wyatt family-esque I'd say that movie Deliverance is always good inspiration.</p><p> </p><p> Some Name Ideas:</p><p> Them Banjo Boys - their theme music is played on a banjo</p><p> Moonshine - rough often inebriated backwood creeps</p><p> Pig Boys - They make opponents squeal like pigs</p><p> The Mississippi Swamp Gang - They're from Iowa but that's not as menacing sounding</p><p> The Iowa Swamp Gang - if you're into keeping it real with how you bill workers</p>
