Regarding chemistry, are there any indicators one can look out for? And can people with different wrestling styles have good chemistry? I feel like the answer to the latter is yes but in my latest save I’ve been having more luck by pairing people of the same style up (or pitting them against each other). Other than the styles, are there any other potential giveaways to look out for?

If you don't want to use him in the ring, let him auto-push, but set him as someone's manager. You can use him as a bodyguard and mouthpiece. Set him as a minor character in any feuds with the person he is managing and set him up as the guy to beat in order to get to the other guy. Kind of like how Kairi Sane always accompanies Asuka and people frequently beat her in order to get to fight Asuka.

 

Even if his matches and angles aren't great, it won't really matter so long as you have good main events and a couple of other matches and angles.

That's good stuff, it makes sense creatively but he's the highest-paid worker on the roster and I'm already losing money. It's a lot of money to shell out every show for that kind of role.

Hide him in a tag team with someone you want to turn into a star. He can still wrestle and be featured and be used on a regular basis but you can hide his decline a bit.

I want a B-show because I've signed workers left and right to written contracts, mostly young talents that don't get to be on my A-show.</p><p> </p><p>

Now, a B-show has no influence on my company pop, with mostly unknowns that's quite handy. But I can't get a tv-deal done for it yet. </p><p>

So, if I schedule weekly events and have them televised, this will influence my company pop right?</p><p>

Meaning that with unknowns it's going to come in low grades and affect my pop.</p><p> </p><p>

Is this a valid option in your opinion, or is there a better option?</p><p>

Also use the preshow. That gives them some small local exposure and allows them to not be wasting space. Or use them as fodder for your mid card and up, in open matches to help them still look competitive.

They pass on performance skills like psychology or selling or working as a babyface/heel</p>

A mentor/ protege relationship is also going to help improve the backstage environment, just like having wrestlers who are friends or family members.

Thanks for the tips. In the end I televised and rewrote my main events to get the show grades up a bit.

I lost pop in my home region, but my A-tv show compensates that every week and then my ppv-event on top of that.

So, I had a title match end in a DQ-win for the challenger. Now, in other saved games this never caused the title to change hands, as it should be right.

My best bet without seeing the match set up and road agent notes you've used for sure.... you probably used clashing road agent notes. Something like a "tainted win" and "DQ finish", which resulted in the game using the first one you set. A tainted win is stuff like foot on the ropes, low blows, distractions and stuff like that where a title can change hands..... a DQ finish falls under "cheap finishes" which are effectively non finishes like DQ, count out and sports entertainment style match thrown out deals.....

 

Since 99% of the time that's how this has happened when people are confused, I'd put my money on that.

That is probably exactly it! I didn't know that would clash (still learning the game, apparently)

 

I did set tainted win and a DQ finish as road agent notes. I believe the bubble-help (text that explains when hovering over the options) mentions a DQ-finish in the tainted win column not so much in the cheap win column...

You'd think I'd have asked this before, but regardless.

 

What are the actual mechanical benefits of internet distribution compared to dvd distribution? I've been on internet for most of my game. Supposedly, this brings in more fans. I'd expect, reading that, that would have the effect of increasing popularity (even slightly) pretty much worldwide...but it seems that the only popularity gains I've seen is from my actual shows and spillover.

 

Since I'm (theoretically, this hasn't been tested) losing money from not having DVD distribution, what benefit am I actually getting?

Good match ratings for significant enough squashes?

 

Hey, I just have a question after watching a few of Goldberg`s matches recently in WWE and early in his run in WCW, and that is; is it possible to have matches with wrestlers like him that are short and exciting with great match ratings? Or will you always be capped because of the game mechanics?

 

His sub 2 minute squash of Lesnar at Survivor Series 2016 was so effective, yet as a Main event in TEW it would get like a 53 at max. Any way to mend this? Would a menace angle after the match be enough? I just hope and wish for there to be a possibility to do good ratings with a gimmick like Goldberg’s! Thanks for help <3
